Travail Takes the Helm at Graze Food Hall | Eater Twin Cities

"A new North Minneapolis sports-and-events venue that hosted the grand opening for a locally rooted restaurant concept on November 19; the facility is located roughly six blocks from the concept’s original pop-up site and will serve as the new permanent home for the expanded menu and community-focused programming." - Justine Jones

Very predatory subscription policies. I know several people who are continuously trying to pause or cancel their memberships and keep getting charged. There’s always some excuse on why they have to charge you because of their policies. (policies that management seems to care more about enforcing than understanding) They’ll find any way to squeeze money out of you if you sign up, even if you stop using their facilities. Very gross to see this from a place that claims to be here to help the community.

Staff is mostly friendly. Unfortunately they didn’t process my request to end my membership and I was erroneously billed 2 months. If you need to change your membership always take a picture of the paper form they make you sign because they will lose it or have you fill it out wrong to charge you on purpose. The manager was not helpful at all and didn’t try to fix the error they made. I would never have a membership here unless they have electronic proof of memberships.

Energy begets energy here at V3 Sports in a fun, healthy and exciting way. V3 Sports is one of the best new places for people of all ages to participate, located in North Minneapolis in decades! We have been waiting for this stimulating, fantastic, state of the arts place to swim, use the therapeutic pool, exercise, lift weights, socialize and gather in a kind, safe and welcoming environment in our community for a very long time. V3 Sports is right on time, check it out for yourself, family and community.💞 I attended the V3 SPORTS Grand Opening, and it was wonderfully grand indeed. Great turnout, food, energy, music and family activities. 💖

This facility is poorly managed. The staff is rude and lacks training on services offered and customer service. The manager never calls back and no management onsite on the weekends. Class instructors are treated poorly. The majority of them left. The pricing structure is unaffordable once you include all the add ons. The app magically stop functioning properly and they can't figure out how to fix it in months. This started out as a aspirational community space and has quickly deteriorated. A lot of donations went into this project, it is a shame to see it go to waste. Changes need to be made with how the place is managed in order to increase membership to support building the next phase. Staff can't answer basic membership fee questions, horrible fee structure, poorly trained staff with no manager onsite. This is why community projects fail. The board needs to address these issues immediately. Do better!

I've looked for a class in Tai Chi near North Minneapolis for a long time. I'm happy to have found a class at V3 with Chance. I'll be back as my work schedule allows. Thank you, Chance and V3!

This gym is incredibly welcoming, with friendly and attentive staff who make you feel right at home. I had a fantastic experience using their state-of-the-art heated pool—it’s truly top-notch. I also brought my son to the daycare, and I was impressed by how clean and well-maintained it was. The staff there were exceptionally caring and considerate, and my son had an amazing time. What stands out the most is the gym’s commitment to cultural inclusivity and its thoughtful approach to serving the neighborhood’s diverse community. I highly recommend this modern, well-run facility. It’s a gem that’s worth checking out!

Great gym. Love the newer equipment and as of yet it's not too packed when I go. Also love the restaurant and lounge option downstairs. Overall great experience

Pros: Great location, the front desk staff is good at trying to know member's names, pool, all female staff and female only pool times on Weds, Swim classes for all ages, and Not too busy right now. Definitely will be soon. Cons: No spin classes, no personal trainers, group fitness classes aren't really advertised to hype your motivation and support instructors (besides water aerobics), and the biggest issue some rookie members don't know how to work the machines so all you'll hear is banging. I educated a few on controlled movements. I wish the staff that sits up there monitoring would assist in that area, otherwise the machines will break in months. Overall a great place and hopefully Spin classes and personal trainers will soon be added.

Yelp
Our family has been members of V3 for about 6 months now. We were excited to have a family friendly gym in the neighborhood and their mission made it that much better. There's a childcare center, work out floor, pool, hydrotherapy, and work out classes- not to mention they have partnered with Soul Bowl to offer a full service restaurant. We mostly use the pool, we attend water aerobics twice a week and love the instructions Dawn and Angelina. The indoor pool is heated, there's lap swimming and free swim during the week. The pool provides flotation devices, toys, towels, swim caps, and goggles if needed. They've really made it easy for people to access the pool. At least once a week there is also a women's only swim- honestly something for everyone. We haven't used the hydrotherapy pool but it looks really cool. There is a co-ed locker room with bathrooms and changing rooms. The workout center upstairs has a lot of equipment and weights- whatever you're looking for they most likely have it. There's also classes upstairs throughout the week (think yoga, strength training, soon to be Zumba). There is also a separate locker room upstairs that is divided for men and women. On the main floor is where you will find the childcare center, entrance to Soul Bowl and art that's been done my local artist. The front desk staff are friendly and always seem to remember your name which makes you feel like you're part of something. I know that they are looking to start phase two next year and we are eagerly awaiting the groundbreaking. If you're looking for a local spot to hangout and get in some exercise check this place out. It's a great option!
