If you’re thinking about it…. GO. Went after I couldn’t get a reservation at Host (it was recommended by one of my tour guides). I did the 3 course meal with wine pairings and it was incredible. Extremely filling and absolutely worth every penny. Service was impeccable and I’ll be talking about this meal for a long time (probably forever)

Wanted to try this restaurant long time as heard it’s amazing - and yes it is! And with how busy it is at 20pm on Wednesday completely full proves that, even though it has a lot of seating. Therefore must be booked, for people who is into wine would love the place, every course is paired with nice wine.

Google
The overall experience was amazing! I had a chance to try the green menu with wine pairing. It is rare to find a tasty vegetarian tasting menu in fine dining restaurants and i have to say the flavors and the matching wine selection was incredible! Also the vibe of the venue and staff was very comforting and i loved it. Definitely worth the visit :)

Dinner at Vækst was hands down the best meal of my trip. Every course was incredible—beautifully balanced flavors, fresh ingredients, and a real sense of creativity without feeling overdone. I was also pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes; each plate was generous (especially for a tasting menu), which made the whole experience feel even more satisfying. The atmosphere was warm and stylish. Just an all-around amazing dinner—I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Google
Lucky to get a reservation one day in advance to this fabulous spot. The atmosphere is special with the indoor greenhouse. We were seated upstairs and it was a buzz with conversation. Feels like a “neighborhood” spot but with 5 star food & staff. Singles would feel comfortable here eating alone as the staff is so engaging. We had the four course choice which comes with many extra “chef choice” add ons. The presentation, food quality, lovely staff made this one of our favorite dining experiences ever! Included are photos of our courses minus the two delicious desserts Rubarb ice cream crumble & a cheese tray assortment. Highly recommend this unique spot for dining in Copenhagen. We spent $277.00 for both of us which included two ginger beers & glasses of champagne.. fantastic!

Google
Dining at Vækst was a true delight! The atmosphere is cozy yet elegant, with the beautiful greenhouse setting adding a unique charm. Every dish was thoughtfully composed, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The seasonal ingredients really shine, and the vegetarian options were just as creative and satisfying. A special mention goes to the excellent wine selection and the staff’s spot-on recommendations – knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. A memorable evening and a must-visit for modern Nordic cuisine lovers!

The food is really tasty! We enjoyed it very much. However, the service could be better (For example there was almost no verbal interaction with the guests and table was often not cleaned after the meals).

Google
We booked this restaurant for 2 couples, while on a cruise vacation in Copenhagen. The greenhouse vibe was nice. I wish we had a better table, as ours was right by the entrance where people walk in. It also had broken lighting above it, so dark and a bit difficult to read the menu. The food was very good and beautiful presentation. My husband also tried the wine pairing and enjoyed it. The waiter was a bit curt, but perhaps had a bad day. I do think it is worth checking out.

Yelp
While it may not be a Michelin star restaurant in a city full of them, this place hit all the right marks: classy, intimate, relaxed, attention to detail, and memorable! We enjoyed a 3 course menu in September 2024. We had the steak with roasted corn, which had a rich but elegant taste and wasn't too dense! We also had the cod with pickled greens and white cream sauce, which was light and flaky but flavorful. There was also a great vegetarian crepe, with fresh veggies, shaved cheese, and aioli sauce. Everything on the menu looked interesting and had unique touches. The service was great, as the waiter and drink attendant were attentive but not pushy. They also answered all the questions we had about the menu. The atmosphere was rustic and had dozens of plants on the wall and floor that made it feel like a greenhouse in the best way. Overall, highly recommend this place!

Yelp
Came here because of a friend's rec and it did not disappoint!! Everything was so good!! We did a walk-in as a party of 6 on a Monday evening around 8pm and we were seated immediately. The restaurant is very spacious with two floors and lovely decor (lots of plants!). Our whole meal took about 2+ hours but we were catching up with friends so the pacing felt just right :)

Yelp
This is my favorite restaurant in Copenhagen. I come here a couple of times a year (every time I visit CPH for work) and am always so happy with my meal. Fancy, but not too fancy. Super delicious food. Fantastic atmosphere. And I love the tasting menu so I don't have to make decisions. They're good with kids too. My daughters (ages 6 and 11) came along one time and loved it too.

Yelp
This was a great treat to dine here - we enjoyed the wonderful 3 course set meal! The staff was lovely, attentive and very friendly. The food was delicious and we enjoyed their take on the fun style/food. The setting was cozy and lovely for a date night! Instagram 3 Course Set Menu @CoFoCoDK At Vækst, the Nordic ingredients are in focus. The menu consists of lots of vegetables and local meat, fish and poultry. At Vækst, natural ingredients and playfull taste combinations are the main components of the meal. Copenhagen

Yelp
Truly such a beautiful meal. We each got the non-veg tasting menu (they had a tasting menu with meat and one without) but ordered the celery main as well. Everything was beautiful but the fish really stands out as well as the pear sorbet. The meal was perfectly paced, the service was attentive and they made good suggestions, and the interior is beautiful and tasteful. We went in on a Sunday night with reservations. It was full but not packed.

Yelp
Vaekst is a Nordic restaurant centered around fresh produce located in a space with an indoor greenhouse and an abundance of plants. We had the three course meal for dinner. The surprise starter was a waffle with brown butter, cheese and watercress followed by fresh sourdough bread and goat milk butter. The appetizer was a salted cod topped with gooseberry. After the starter we had surprise mid course, a potato and cucumber salad with potato crisps topped with a cream cheese cream. The main course was fried hake served with beurre blanc sauce, peas, dried shrimp and served with a side of mashed potatoes. Dessert was a yogurt sorbet with caramelized rhubarb, white chocolate and hazelnut crunch. As a yogurt hater, I substituted for three types of danish cheese. We loved Vaekst for its fresh, clean flavors and focus on greens both in their decor and their dishes

Yelp
Creative, delicious, modern deconstructed take on traditional Nordic food. *love*. I experienced an intersection of textures (crunchy and creamy in the same bite), vibrant colors (thanks to inclusion of bets and greens and other vegetables, with creamy butter or cheese) grounded in traditional flavors with a few unexpected additions (jalapeño! Lemon balm!). Varied and interesting wine list (e.g., not just the usual suspects for origin, orange, robust whites). Ambiance lovely & service admirable. I ordered a starter and the fried cod entrée rather than the full course. (Between those and the additional minicourses included, I correctly predicted: no room for dessert!) 100% I will be back here. Do they have a Michelin star?-- not sure, but that would be totally on point (in my non professional/amateur epicure opinion)!

Prem G.

Yelp
The concierge at the hotel highly recommended Voekst and the menu posted on its website was quite enticing. So, we waited to get the reservation for the next evening. However, it was very disappointing when we got the menu. It was very limited with just one dish for fish, chicken, and pork. Service was nothing out of extraordinary and ambiance was quite average. We felt that this restaurant is overhyped and not worth the price.

Yelp
Everything we ate was perfect! Highly recommended it if you are in Copanhagen. Our server was super nice and she explained all items on the menu. Ambiance was so good! We were seated quickly! We had a real nice Michelin experience!

Yelp
How bizarre and what a surprise! Another miss in Copenhagen! I expected so much and would have loved this place to be a 5 star. It had a Michelin star in the past, so I figured there is no way this could be anything less than 4.5 stars. Alas, I'm a bit underwhelmed with this restaurant as well. First, the decor is supposed to give a Greenhouse feel to it, and yes there were plants everywhere. There was NOTHING visually stunning about the restaurant. Let's overlook this and still give it 5 stars. Openaire in hollywood is a GORGEOUS greenhouse restaurant in Los Angeles. Let's talk about the food and service. The majority of the staff could barely crack a smile or say welcome. I do understand that the restaurant is exceptionally busy and people were running left and right. But just basic minimal greetings is not much to ask for. The first comment from the host was do you have a reservation, ok let me seat you down. You can order a prefix or a la carte. I do realize that with a lot of these prefix menus, it's the presentation and the style. But at the end of the day you want delicious food for the price you are getting. The expectations for a Michelin star restaurant is MUCH higher than the average restaurant. I really wanted this restaurant to deserve a 5 star but the food wasn't anything I would come back for. The bread was rock hard, and the butter exceptionally salty. There was s cauliflower, a beef and a cod fish variety. I usually pay such great attention to detail and the food but nothing registered. I was hoping that I could find one good restaurant in Denmark. Alas. This was a disappointment as well. Maybe the quality of the food was amazing in the past. Our server was terrific so the three stars was for him. So so bummed....

Yelp
AMAZING- JUST GO FOR IT. You won't be disappointed. From presentation, ambiance, quality of service and taste, everything will be amazing. The tomato entree with the heart shaped waffles were delicious!!!

Yelp
Went here for dinner on my birthday this year and we really enjoyed it. Good service and the food was delicious, especially the fish. Would happily return.

Yelp
Having stayed at the adjacent Hotel SP34 on my previous trip to CPH, I've tried the "breakfast version" of this place, and it was delicious. This time, I had a chance to come back for dinner. The food was delightful: the bread & butter with tarragon oil, scallops, and baked hake, as well as the dessert, were spot on. The service was friendly but got a bit MIA at the end of the evening (Tired? Distracted? Something came up? Who knows... but it was noticeable). Still, I would consider going back, maybe for lunch - on a warm day, they open up the windows and the whole place turns into an almost dining-on-the-terrace experience.

Yelp
Loved the freshness of everything here. It felt like the food was picked from their garden that day. Food: Fresh cucumbers and radishes with a pea purée and cheese - delicious! Scallop - very good Sourdough bread - so fresh and delicious Mushroom soup - so creamy and delicious I wish I had more Cauliflower - good Baked haddock - delicious and so moist and flaky Wild blueberries - not my fave Cheese dish - very good

Yelp
Was able to get a same day reservation early week. All food was excellent. Absolutely excellent! We went the a la carte route. There are portions served in between, even if not on the menu. I was surprised that check in and the wine list were suboptimal, but again, food was excellent!!!

Yelp
On our last night of vacation in Copenhagen, we let the Yelp app lead us to Vaekst, and we had a totally outstanding dining experience. The venue was beautiful and quite stylish.  We were seated at a large table on the 1st floor, which was the perfect size for our party of six.  After consulting with our server, we all opted for their Prix Fixe menu.  Each and every dish was deliciate, delicious and beautifully presented.  We loved everything we ate that night; my personal favorite was the cod (completely superlative) but everything was wonderful :-) We shared several desserts, and they were all delicious! The service was quick and attentive; our server paused briefly to explain each dish as it was served.  There's no doubt in my mind about recommending this place - when you're in Copenaghen, it's unquestionably a must-visit restaurant!

Yelp
I was asked to leave. Whole story... starting with end first. Waiter says, "Would you like any coffee or tea after your meal?" I respond, "No, we're fine, we would like the bill." Waiter then says, "Ok." 16 minutes later. Waiter comes back to our table, with our bill and a business card and he says "Sorry, you have to leave, your time is up, we have more guests arriving." I replied, "I was waiting for you. Waiting for this bill." Waiter then says,"OH, okay, you have to go, sorry." I pay, chuckle at the event, and tell the waiter "thank you" -- which I honestly think should have come out of his mouth, but I digress. And now that I've had a moment to think about this, I'm a littled vexed. We arrived at the restaurant on time, under our reservation. We ate our meal pretty quickly, because the three course meal is not some gigantic, Claim Jumper feast - its rather small, flavorful and worth the price ... but the service went a little awkward at the end. It's a top of the line kind of place, BUT my wife nearly had her dish spilled on her and I know she didn't like that. So I've written my thoughts and moving on to the next. I doubt if I'll ever be in this neck of the world anytime in the near future. Oh - and since I felt a bit a off by the whole exchange, I decided to jump on Yelp and say politely "F*CK YOU."

Yelp
We were able to obtain a reservation and dine here for dinner in this greenhouse effect Michelin star restaurant. While the service was very nice the food was on the average side. The ambience was very nice except for the fact that we stared at a pods container outside of the front window. The food is crafted with care, it's creative and so fresh. We really enjoyed our tender beef fillets, killer mashed potatoes and their amuse Boucher starter, bread & butter and our very expensive roasted beet. We opted for a syrah wine but it was like no syrah we were ever expecting. The wine was a definite disappointment. Other than that we had a great time and service was very good.

Yelp
Much overdue review! I came here in September 2019 and had a fantastic time. Yes, the food was tasty, but it was the overall experience of the fun I had with the food that made the dinner so memorable. For me, I fully believe that any food needs to take you through a journey: What story is the meal conveying? The reason why I gave the restaurant and my experience five stars is that each dish did not feel like a separate item off a menu but part of a holistic narrative.
google avatar

John M.

Yelp
One of the best I've had. The food and service were absolutely perfect. I had 3 course fish meal and can't stop thinking about how perfect everything was. We sat in the lower floor and it felt like we were eating in a greenhouse, very relaxing.

Yelp
After dining at many gastronomic feasts throughout Denmark, I selected this restaurant for a more casual approach to Nordic cuisine. This younger, sister restaurant in the Cofoco chain, was hyped to offer imaginative multi-course cuisine at a value price point. The menu is very limited, in that there are only two choices offered for first course, four items for main course, and two items for dessert. Yet, from that framework, the restaurant was able to accommodate my wife's dietary restrictions. The food indeed was quite innovative and well presented. Portions were reasonable considering the small number of dishes. Service however, was very amateurish. For example, our server brought out bread and said she was returning with our wine which we had long ago ordered. However, immediately after leaving our table she stopped at a nearby table to take their order, and of course explain the menu to them, so there was a further 5+ minute delay before receiving our first glass of wine. When I asked another server to get our wine, she replied she wasn't old enough to serve wine. Obviously, in an attempt to keep costs down, they don't employ seasoned or experienced waitstaff. The seating times are fixed so that they can get two seatings in for each table. I advised the hotel concierge of our dissatisfaction of the meal, and he acknowledged that this restaurant does cater to younger tourists who are mindful of their budget. That explains why there were so many tourists in this restaurant, as the various hotels refer their guests here. I'm sorry that I selected this place, as I likely would have preferred their original restaurant from which they achieved a good reputation instead of Vaekst. I won't be returning, nor could I recommend it to any of my friends.

Yelp
This review is along over due. I visited Copenhagen in June 2022 for work and was in charge of all the food reservations. Although we had excellent food all week, Vækst was by far our favorite place. It was a fantastic food experience from start to finish. I booked a few weeks in advance and our group went for the concept "An Evening at Vækst" which included a 3 course dinner with accompanying wine and welcome drinks. The price was reasonable for the quality, portions and service. The ambiance is lovely, and the service was excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs including accommodating to all our allergies. The food was not only beautiful to look at but well prepared. The accompanying wine was generous and paired perfectly as well. I am so sad I did not take any photos (but as it was a work dinner it just did not feel appropriate). Highly recommend and I cannot wait to go back next time I am in Copenhagen.

Yelp
This place was the BOMB! There is a greenhouse in the middle with tables around it then you walk through the middle of the greenhouse down steps to lower level seating. There were plants everywhere setting a very natural, boho vibe. Service was exceptional and our waitress was patient and took time to talk through menu options. Everything was skillfully prepared and beautifully plated. The tasting menu was enough to be totally filling and a great experience without going too long.

Yelp
Hands down, one of the best meals of my life...but don't ask me what I had!!! I could never remember it all! There were so many delicate, gorgeous, inventive, inspired plates to keep track of. I loved every single detail of my dining experiences here, at one of the many restaurants in the famed COFOCO (Copenhagen Food Collective) group. To be completely honest, this restaurant wasn't my first choice, but the only one I could reserve same day (definitely make reservations!) but I can't imagine it getting any better than this!! The setting is the loveliest candlelit greenhouse and its going to make you want to just stay for hours. Trust me, I did (while chatting with a mother/daughter duo from the UK next to me, who were equally blown away by their meal! *They had the meat version) The food is modern Nordic. It combines classic indigenous ingredients in a super fun playful fresh way. Like I said, there were far too many plates to remember them all, much more than I thought I was getting with my tasting menu, but each one more outrageous and complex than the next. It really doesn't really matter what plates I savored anyway as the menu changes seasonally based on what's locally in season, but the celeriac dish, the Jerusalem artichokes, the beet carpaccio and the truffle soup were SOOO BEYOND!! You can choose either a meat or veg based meal, 3 courses with the option to add a wine pairing for an additional charge. There all also some a la carte options too! More than a meal, an incredible culinary experience!! I would LOVE to return when I'm in the area again! This was so memorable!! A highlight for sure!

Yelp
Exceptional restaurant. Best meal we had in Copenhagen. We are still talking about the dessert !

Yelp
Lovely restaurant - came here for lunch and they offer both prefix and alacart menus - the server was American and very kind - they offered a bouce amuse and bread course but my favorite was the cauliflower entree

Yelp
My friend and I tried the tasting menu at Vækst and we really enjoyed it. All the dishes were beautifully presented and delicious! They give you many small dishes between the main courses, and in the end, we were very full, satisfied and content with what we got for the price. The space is also beautiful and cozy with their greenhouse concept of wood textures and tons of foliage! The service was also friendly and attentive!
google avatar

Yelp
A very good place with an inventive twist on the obvious. A thyme soup, scallops with chamomile and dehydrated tomatoes, fish with gooseberries, wine pairing - everything was awesome. Service is great as well. People are attentive and obviously very caring. They looked passionate about their work and I was surprised at how seriously they took their jobs compared to people at other restaurants. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Delicious and filling, a cool indoor greenhouse concept, and lovely service. The prix fixe for dinner was solid, with lots of filling snacks throughout to augment the main choices. I also stayed in the hotel and the breakfast in this place was excellent.
google avatar

Áron C.

Yelp
Came here for dinner, the starters were great, and they were in the house, also great. My brass was cooked perfectly, but the sides were overhelming with just too many flavours, which I really didn't like. The servings were small, especially given the fact that the only thing I liked from the dish was the fish. Overall solid place, slightly overpriced but just too gourmet for me.

Yelp
Soooooooo gooooooooood. Hip, chill restaurant (check out the photos) with amazing food. I got the three course meal with pork (you get more than just three because you also get bread and salad). Food came out very quickly (one after another), and everything was so tasty. Combinations of food were interesting, but amaaaazing. Who knew that octopus and cheese could taste so good together?! Poor was super soft and yum. Dessert also consisted of unique combinations that sound weird on paper (like ice cream and cucumber) but tasted delicious.

Yelp
If you like unique, fresh food served on ways you probably haven't thought of, you'd like it here. Location: side street right outside the center of the city. 2 stories decorated nicely with a mix of cement, wood, and lots of greenery. Food: well-thought out combinations of flavors plated in an appealing way. Try the tasting menu for a variety of flavors... changes regularly. Comes with an app, entree, and dessert priced based on your entree choice. See photos of the concoctions. There was a nice surprise of bread served with parsley oil and a crepe served with a beautiful plate of veggies and homemade buttermilk to start for all. Service: had 2 servers helping throughout who were attentive...whoever brought food to the table was responsible for explaining everything on each plate. To note: 1) they're not kid friendly. Nothing on the menu really appealed and my kid loves fish. Asked for just a piece of fish for him and they charged the full adult entree price and it was super salty. 2) be prepared to pay for still, tap water. For 5 of us... didn't realize they were charging for every carafe they refilled and we paid $15 for water. Not what I want to spend my money on in a restaurant. Overall, great experience and timing between each dish!

Yelp
I should have given 4 stars because of my main course but since the experience in total was amazing I couldn't not give 5 stars. I will start with the obvious which is the interior. Brilliant! I loved the concept and the cozy feeling in there. Simple, a bit industrial and very green. Plants everywhere mixing with the wooden details. Just because of the interior I would go again! The service was absolutely of something to remember. Fast, caring and helpful. The food was very special!! I absolutely fell in love with the starter and the desert. I chose for main the chicken, since I took the whole menu, and this was disappointing. It was deep fried and it had become very dry. Nothing to combine it with. No salad, no vegetables. Just a small piece of chicken. However I tried my friends main, the fish, and it was delicious! So I must have been unlucky. Definitely the best restaurant I have been to in a while.

Yelp
Exquisite Michelin-esque dining experience with delightful surprises throughout. Very accommodating of vegan diets - I had the Green there course menu and it was wonderful. My favorite was the chick pea cake at the start. The mashed potatoes and mushroom broth were also delightful. Would love to come back!

Yelp
This was the type of Nordic meal I was looking for and I loved it. Jakob, crew, and the overall vibe were great. I went with the tasting menu. Everything was well executed and flavors ranged from good to fantastic. There was a soup given as part an amuse bouche trio and I can't even recall all that was in it (I think squid, squid ink, maybe mushroom of some kind), I just know it was incredibly flavorful and easily my favorite of the meal. The main dish, grilled pork neck, and the dessert were great too. It was a good value as well. This would have been a 5 star review until I received the bill. They charged a hair under $4 for tap water (25dkk). If it were bottled water I would understand, but for tap water? That's ridiculous to me. At the very least give your patron a heads up so they have the option of such pricy tap water. I asked why the charge and was told this was normal. Only problem with that is no where else was I charged for tap water while in Copenhagen. I even got sparkling water that was on tap at another restaurant in town for free. Another place did try charging me for water but they acknowledged I had asked for tap and so they removed it from the bill. Not the case here. There is no question I would return. It was still a positively memorable experience and I would definitely recommend this restaurant. I just would suggest to come already hydrated or prepare to pay for the service turning on and off a faucet.

Yelp
We had a one night layover in Copenhagen and wanted to make our one dinner count while we were here. Did some research ahead of time, and landed on Vækst. And definitely no regrets! The space is very charming with a "greenhouse" look of countless plants being strung up all over the place. Besides the plants the interior is simple and clean. We both elected to try their 3 course menu, with slight variation of entree. Although it's listed as 3 course menu, there are 3 amuse-bouche surprises sprinkled in throughout the meal. They were nice surprises and one of them in particular could have been the best bite of the meal, but I won't describe those as to save the surprise. The first course of the baked cod soup was top-notch. Super depth of flavor. And a common theme they carried in their dishes was a great attention to texture in their food. The entree of the fried pork neck was solid. It was a little on the drier end, but overall solid. My wife swapped in the pan fried scallops which was solid as well. They could have used restraint on the sauce that they poured on top of it at the table, since there was already a sauce on the plate. We realized quickly their strength is in in their vegetables and greens, not their proteins. Which is apropos considering the greenhouse theme. The salad that came with the entrees was one of the best salads I've ever had. And the mashed potatoes was creative with some crunchy green crumble atop. Lastly, the ice cream dessert was amazing. Light, tart, just enough sweet. If you're looking for a rich decadent dessert, this is not it. But the ice cream is velvety and the white chocolate crumble, long pepper, and strawberry provide a perfect combo of sweet and tart. I will say it did take us a really long time to get waited on initially and there was an oddly long gap of 30 minutes between finishing our first course and receiving our second course. So the meal became oddly paced, but not enough to ruin the experience. This restaurant is part of CoFoCo, and definitely a good representative of it. They seem to have a keen relationship with their ingredients and how to use them well.

Yelp
I love this place. I've been here twice with co-workers and they love it, too, which means I will likely be back over and over. Lucky me! The interior of the restaurant is pretty interesting to look at. In the center of the restaurant is a structure that looks like it's perhaps supposed to be a greenhouse and it's filled with plants. In fact, there's a lot of greenery around everywhere. The menus are set up for a multi-course experience, but you can also order anything on the menus a-la-carte which is what I prefer. Both times I have been to Vakst, they have brought out an adorable little starter which consists of carrots in a cream cheese dip that is covered with chopped browned nuts and served in a cute little terracotta pot to look like the carrots were planted in it. It's a nice touch and starts each meal off with a bit of whimsy. Each time I have been here, I have ordered fish and it was perfectly cooked and served in a flavorful sauce. Service is excellent and it feels like meals are perfectly-paced to thoroughly enjoy the dining experience.

Yelp
My partner and I dined at Vaekst yesterday and I cannot stop thinking about this amazing meal. The food and service were fantastic. We did the 3-course tasting menu. Everything was fresh, well seasoned, packed with flavor, and delectable. In addition, the green house ambience was beautiful. My partner and I have been to several amazing restaurants around the world and this was among our favorites. This restaurant really should have a Michelin star. If you're considering it, GO!

This place is phenomenal! Similar to Høst (which is also run by CoFoCo), they have a beautiful interior, and a unique and well thought-out menu. It's one of those meals that you fantasize about later on. For the price, it's a difficult experience to beat.

Yelp
Beautiful. Best part of staying at SP34 was getting some nice organic breakfast here. Came here for dinner and it was great. A little slow to get the service to start but was ok because I was in good company. One member of the dinner party needed to be someplace at 8:30 and when the waiter learned that he went to try to see how the restaurant can accommodate. Some folks chose the prix fixe set menu and others just a la carte so they suggested that we do the in between of the prix fixe family style. They were super generous with the in between items and it was great. Ambiance, creative cooking, good company, what's not to like.

Yelp
Amazing, delicious food for omnivores and vegetarians! Excellent wine pairings on the prix fix menu. The freshest vegetables ever. Divine mushroom soup. Outstanding service. One of the best meals of my life!

Yelp
Elegant food for the value. We went for the three courses menu that actually included many amuse-bouche and an impressive trio of dessert. Flavors were interesting, playing on texture and tastes. For example the dessert showcased a delicious rhubarb sorbet with white chocolate and pistaccio crumbs on a bed of caramel cream with delicious fresh licorice-like leaves on the top. It came along with a baileys creams with explosive crispy crumbs and a rhubarb and vanilla creamy puffs. The service was nice and polite but I think standards could be improved (but I have observed that in many Danish places). For example, waiters dont pour water, they did not have us tasted the wine initially etc. The place is simple but pleasant. Downstairs is industrial and spatious while upstairs is slightly more lively with tables displayed around an inner greenhouse.

Yelp
Very nice interior, waitresses were very nice, food was great and had a rich taste but way too salty for foreigners

Yelp
We were in Copenhagen for just a day so wanted to experience some authentic Danish cuisine and couldn't have been happier with Vakst. We ordered the tasting menu (which we thought was reasonably priced for expensive Copenhagen). The hake and pork shoulder entrees were exceptional, as were the appetizer and dessert. The restaurant itself is comfortable and our server couldn't have been any nicer or more helpful. We'll definitely plan to return to Vakst the next time we're in Copenhagen and would highly recommend it.

Yelp
Excellent and fancy Scandinavian restaurant in CPH. We appreciate the style, design and decoration which make the place very cosy. The service is really kind. The food is excellent and fancy. Original Scandinavian dishes with a modern touch. The taste and different textures are just amazing. I highly recommend you this restaurant in CPH. Don't forget to book a table on their website.

Yelp
Certainly one of the best gastro experiences I had in Copenhagen so far. Våkst is from a group of restaurants and they all offer reasonable prices for a great service and experimental new nordic food. It's better to be safe than sorry, so get a reservation. Specially if you are in a party of three or more. They have a la carte and tasting menus starting from 275 DKK (vegetarian) and 325 DKK (with meat). We had three courses, and they had a fantastic presentation and a surreal taste -- never had anything like it My favourite were the deserts, so I highly recommend you save some space for that.
