Perfect brunch with friends! Great value for your money. Local ingredients and lovely, professional staff. Brunch is open for outside guests too (from 11-1pm). It’s a gem hidden in plain sight. Definitely take your for tasting the delicious foods, great coffee and champagne. We loved the Istrian corner. A must visit when in Poreč.

Everything was great except checking out because communication between staff on the system wasn't great. While I was waiting for the transport I was asked by receptionist or reception manager (Sandra was the name I believe) if I paid. I said I did and showed the final bill but I was told thats not the proof that I paid. Then I asked het to call another member of staff who actually charged me for stay. He came and said everything is ok and he will update the system once the room is checked. It should be a field on the system to note the payment. It is not great to accuse a customer of not paying in front of other members of staff and customer family.

Me and my wife travel a lot and this is among the few times that we’ve had a fantastic stay at a hotel. The hotel is great for couples and we really enjoyed ourselves. From a good and clean room to a wow experience when it was time for breakfast and brunch. Perfection is of course impossible and if I have to pick on one thing then it’s the island resort which is shared with another hotel in the same chain. What rules apply is not very clear and it seems that the staff isn’t well informed either. During our 2 separate trips to the island we can’t say that we enjoyed ourselves. It was rather disappointing to be honest but mainly because of how restrictive it felt and the lack of personnel. The biggest issue we had is that guests leave their towels at the sun chairs and then they leave for hours and hours without coming back. This is a problem and it’s not organized properly from the management. Where are we supposed to lay down when everything is occupied by people who don’t even come back for the whole day? A better system is needed. When I brought this to the hotels attention, I was met with a very arrogant young woman’s attitude at the front desk whilst trying to supply feedback. One can at least allow a person to finish a sentence before interrupting. At least pretend that you care even if you’ve worked at the resort for 7 years. That experience in itself isn’t enough to ruin our fantastic impression of the hotel and its staff. But I can’t recommend the island of Sveti Nikola (the resort) at all until they come up with a better system.

Beautiful hotel with excellent staff and fantastic breakfast/brunch menu. We had a suite which was beautiful, but suffered from being above a very noisy bar/club with music until 2am (suites are in a separate building to the standard rooms, so the rest of the hotel doesn’t have this issue). Maria on reception found us a replacement villa on the island when a suitable replacement wasn’t available within the hotel. Excellent service from Maria and the rest of the staff.

Don’t get duped and placed in “the apartments,” which is a run down, adjacent building. The towels are scratchy, thin and tiny—not large enough for even a small adult.

We stayed here for 3 nights and everything was amazing! Breakfast was great! The lady who cooks omelette was the best! Brunch was superb! One day we had tuna burger and chicken burrito- way better than we had in restaurants! Plus if you’re lucky there are oysters too to match with the sparkling wine. The staff were all very kind and professional. The boat transfer from the port where the hotel is to the island where the beach is was reliable and convenient. We had dinner at Spinnaker Restaurant and the food was great. The hotel is literally in the center so it’s very convenient if you want to go to restaurants, bars, shops etc and it’s in front of the port where there are many excursions to choose from. We had a great time, in fact, we’ve decided to spend a week in this place every summer with our children.

The staff were very friendly. The restaurant staff especially. Lana, Dajana, Daria and the men in the dining room in Particular went above and beyond to make our holiday fantastic. The choice of food is brilliant too. The location is very central and has easy access by boat to Isabella island and hotel. I would definitely recommend Valamar chain to anybody :)

Everything from accommodations, to service, to hospitality, and food was top notch. The breakfast and brunch buffet were delicious and a wonderful way to start the day. Our room was spacious, clean, neatly decorated, and had a fabulous view. And, the location was the perfect spot when coming off the ferry. Can't wait to come back!
