Where to Find the Best Happy Hours in Las Vegas

"Valley Cheese & Wine, a tidy, family-owned shop in the Las Vegas Valley, offers happy hour from Tuesday through Friday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. with a robust cheese and charcuterie board paired with a bottle of wine for $45. Seating is also available at the barrels in the back of the shop and at tables on the patio." - Ryan Slattery

We just love, love coming to this place. Happy hour is mine and my fiancé's favorite time to go to on a date night and Valentine's day. During happy hour they have unlimited bread and you get to pick out the wine you want to drink. The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable about the wine and stuff that comes in the cheese boards.

Google
What a great little find in Henderson!! Although it is a simple humble location, do NOT let that fool you. This team of wine & cheese experts are not only very welcoming & friendly, but beyond knowledgeable about their craft. We will absolutely be back and will tell anyone who enjoys good wine to check it out.

Google
Phenomenal, they helped me find a couple wines that fit my changing palate. We had happy hour there and they introduced me to some cheese that I had never tried. I highly recommend a visit here if you like wine and or have difficulty finding good cheese in Vegas.

Google
We came for the happy hour special of a bottle of wine and board for $35. Split that 3 ways and couldn’t even finish it. Was sooooo good we had such a great time and the family is just the sweetest ever! See you for our next girls night 😉

Google
This place is awesome! The staff is so friendly and helpful. Their knowledge of wines and cheeses is one of kind. You learn something new everytime you visit. One of my favorite stops! Wine pairing with some amazing cheeses makes a night a home better than going out. Combine that with some delicious steaks from the butcher block a few doora down and you have a meal to remember.

Google
I hesitate to reveal a hidden gem, but I can't help but sing its praises. They of course have unique cheeses and wines, but the pièce de résistance is the happy hour charcuterie board and wine. I wish I could experience it more often. The hosts here are wonderful people, which just adds to the charm.

Google
I had been wanting to try this place for the longest time and decided to order a charcuterie board for two very last minute yesterday. Not only was everyone extremely nice and helpful but the board was sooo yummy! We enjoyed everything on it. I will definitely be going back soon!

Google
The cutest and best priced charcuterie box in the whole city. For the quality and variety you get in the box it was absolutely worth the price. I’ve checked so many different places and this by far was the best value. Every part of the box was delicious.

Yelp
Honestly? We are in Chicago and I'm daydreaming about Valley Cheese and Wine. Service? Friendly and knowledgeable. Value? Surprising and solid. Fun factor? Yes! Selection? I don't even know what most of this stuff is! (But I want to learn!)

Yelp
CHEESE, WINE AND DIANA! Diana "IS" Valley Cheese & Wine. She is really a spectacular human being and true cheese authority. WOW! How lucky we Las Vegans are to have someone of her caliber in the cheese world here in the desert. My girlfriend and I took a class called "Charcuterie & Chardonnay" at Valley Cheese & Wine last month. Drink wine, make a charcuterie board, it sounded like fun. Count me in. Yes, I drank wine (reds not whites). Yes, I enjoyed cheese (who doesn't like cheese). But Diana the owner....you were the really special experience I did not see coming. Diana is the ownership behind Valley Cheese & Wine. As she explains it, Valley Cheese & Wine was formerly owned by a wine guy that did not know cheese. Diana started as a cheese person who did not know wine. Now she knows both. In my perspective, there are countless spots to learn a bit about wine out there in the world. But cheese, really getting to know cheese, intimately and up close, I could not think of even one in Southern Nevada until this class. Diana and her humble beginnings of learning cheese many moons ago at Whole Foods is where it all began. Her enthusiasm, her depth of knowledge, her ability to share her passion for patrons to learn....I am blown away by Diana. She is a bit crazy, but a really great cheese fueled kind of crazy. She is the greatest ambassador to her brand, a marketers dream. She makes me want to up my cheese game in every way. And for the cheese she introduced the class to, really delicious. Fresh, quality cheeses that came with a educational lesson on the varietals we consumed. I would absolutely take another one of these unconventional classes, I learned a lot about cheese and about this cool store. I live way over in Summerlin, but can't wait to go back to this store for a class or a wine purchase or for a fun fromage outing or ordering a charcuterie tray for a holiday party. As with other Yelp reviews that explain that the staff is knowledgeable, having met Diana, it is clear that their staff absorb all the education and knowledge taught to them from the top down. What a great store, what a great owner, what a great experience. Thanks Diana!

Yelp
Happy Hour Tue-Fri 2-6pm. $45 for a board and a bottle. I visit nearby Butcher Block regularly. I have seen VCW but never been in. I was a bit intimidated to be honest. When I was invited by a friend to try their board and a bottle happy hour I jumped at the chance. Three of us shared 2 boards and 2 bottles. One board was sweet and one was savory, both were beautiful and delicious. They have several wines to choose from. We picked a red and a Moscato. I rarely drink wine and enjoyed both. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, definitely no need to be intimidated here.

Yelp
Wine and cheese make the perfect partnership. And if you don't know how exactly to pair them, this is the place for you to learn! This shop sells both wine and cheese, with knowledgeable staff able to educate visitors about both, in addition to having a small wine bar space in the back to imbibe on site. Their online calendar also has group classes available focusing on different wine regions or types of cheese - they make a great gift for the wino in your life! My favorite thing about this place is their happy hour - available Tuesday through Friday from 2-6PM, where you can get a board and bottle for $40. The available wines change regularly, and the cheeses are paired to the wine you select, and it's a generous portion, definitely enough to share. Highly recommend this great deal. I have also heard that they are able to seal your bottle so you can take home any unfinished portion. If a whole bottle is a bit much to commit to, they also have flights. The shop itself has a great variety of wines, a large cheese counter, and various nibbles to add if making a charcuterie board, like artisan potato chips, nuts, etc. by the register. They have special order cheese boards available, as well as gift baskets - great for taking the work out of buying a gift if this isn't your area of expertise, because the staff here definitely know their stuff and they have great personable service. I really can't say enough great things about this place, I just wish I didn't live so far away and could drop by more regularly. TIP: Check out their V.I.Cheese program!

Yelp
Stopped in here for Happy Hour which consists of a Charcuterie Board and bottle of wine of your choice. The staff puts the board together and you get to enjoy it there or can carry out and enjoy at home. They also have a good selection of wines, cheeses and meats to purchase and take home. They also make special order boards. The ladies working there were amazing and so friendly. The store is small but quiet and nice for a small break and snack. I highly recommend giving them a try.

Yelp
This place is great. They have a happy hour special everyone should attend. You get a huge charcuterie platter and a bottle of wine for $40!! There are cheeses on it I would never just try on my own but they are so good. They platter usually comes with bread but they were out this day so they gave us good crackers instead. This is a family ran business and they are all really nice. I will def be back.

Yelp
I can't even tell you how many times I have passed this place wanting to come in here, so after finishing up brunch this past weekend with some girlfriends a few doors down, I mentioned I wanted to head in here to see what they had! This place is so cute and it's family owned. They have a huuuuge selection of wine and a back room where I think they even host tastings. When we walked in, we were greeted instantly by all the employees. One woman was making a charcuterie board and it was so fun to watch. Another woman was kind enough to help us. I told her I definitely wanted to get some cheese, but wasn't sure what I wanted. She helped me pick out a couple. I went with bergiamo buffalo and a manchego raw. She was so kind and even let me taste them before weighing and wrapping them up for me. My girlfriends and I walked around the place and saw all the incredible things they have to offer. They have a variety of teas and jams. One of the tea was even a wedding tea, which I think would make a really cute gift for a wedding so I'll have to remember that for the next one I go to. They also have some beers and a fridge full of other delectable items. I saw the assortment of macarons and HAD to get them. It was only $5! At the register, they had assorted bread, too. I got a french baguette for only $4! It was sooo good! The cheese and bread were all outstanding. This place is adorable and every time I have to make a cheese and meat board, I'm definitely coming here to support this local business. I highly recommend checking it out. From the service to the delicious cheeses, it's a can't miss spot. Next time, I gotta get some wine & meats.

Yelp
I always saw this cute cheese and wine shop every time I went to get my hair done next door and today was the day I finally decided to try it. I just missed happy hour which is every weekday from 2 to 6. I opted for a wine flight which came with three glasses of wine and a cheeseboard with three cheese selections. I tried the white wines. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the wines and told me stories about the cheeses that accompanied them. Everything was absolutely delicious. Fun fact: the owner is one of the few cheese mongers in the country!

Yelp
I've quickly fallen in love with this local cheese and wine shop. They're selling quality food and wine, offering in person classes, and have a great Happy Hour. The service is the best from the owners and employees! They know their products and offer personalized service. The shop brings me joy with so many great foods and wines available to purchase. They have a case of cheese, a case of meats, and the entire middle section of the store is devoted to wine. They also have fine jams, mustards, truffle products, and imported foods. The paprika potato chips were crazy good. They're imported from Spain and the lack of artificial ingredients and preservatives makes them the best chips I've had. In person classes were my original reason for coming in. I've been itching for in person wine and cheese classes and am so thankful this shop is doing them again. Check their website for the latest class and the dates offered. Each party (2-3 people) is at their own table and everything is safe. The cost is $60 per person. The Intro to Wine and Cheese Pairing was the perfect combination of education and fun. I loved the way that Diana and Christine structured and ran this class. There were six pairings. Each pairing was discussed and they educated us on cheese and wine in a way that was easy to understand. Both of these ladies seem very knowledgeable. In between learning they played music to let us enjoy some wine and cheese. Let's talk about the value of this class. Not only did we learn quite a bit, but the wine and cheese servings were generous. Everything featured was delicious too. Their Happy Hour is one of the best in town. They set tables up in front of the shop in the shade. A board and a bottle is only $35! There are more than half a dozen wines to choose from including reds, whites, and rosés. Diana offered to pair our cheeses to the wine we chose. She made great choices and we loved all three. The board blew me away with all of the goodies and the generous portion. It was perfect for two to share. The board and bottle can be ordered for takeout too! Happy Hour is Monday through Friday from 2-6pm. For all the cheese lovers out there we learned that they have a monthly V.I.Cheese program for $75 a month. This includes five cheeses a month. I see myself becoming a regular at this great, local shop. I can't wait to take more classes and to find an excuse to order one of their boards to enjoy at home. I'm so glad I came in and met the wonderful new owners. It's exciting to see a shop offering so many enticing reasons to become a regular.

Yelp
Now how cute is this family-owned place?! First, it's nice to find an intimate setting from which to select your wine. Liquor stores tend to be too large, overwhelming, and uninformed. And, everyone knows that wine is best paired with cheese, so to have a cheesemonger (or someone who is at least educated in cheeses) is wonderful to ensure they your palette is pleasantly pleased. And their happy hour: Good-priced wine, a charcuterie board, and great conversation (both with your guests and the staff). This is going to be in my rotation of places to visit.
google avatar

Becky L.

Yelp
Much more welcoming than the previous owners~ Well appointed layout and they added a private tasting room that can accommodate up to 10 pp with a special air filter. A weekday Happy Hour 3-7 $30 & includes a cheese & meat plate also the have a 4 bottle cruvinet for Happy Hour. Diana oversees the cheese counter and is super knowledgeable ( a former Whole Foods cheese wizard) this gal knowable Great stop for wine, champagne or gifts for the holidays as they have a chocolate counter also.....I mean a rich Cabernet & chocolate? How bad can that be!!!!!

Yelp
I cannot say enough good things about this place. Made reservations via IG just as a heads up but I don't think reservations are required. Went specifically for happy hour where you get a bottle and a board for $30 we got two and the lady making the boards did a couple different cheeses to mix it up! The boards were almost too cute to eat! I cannot wait to go back!

Yelp
What a great place! We stopped in to find a few nice bottles of wine for dinner, and the moment we walked in we were welcomed by the friendly staff. After pulling a few samples from the vending machine we were approached by a gentleman from a back office (maybe one of the owners?) - we had a nice conversation and he helped us find exactly what we wanted. The cheese and charcuteries looked so good we decided we needed to create a platter - and they did not disappoint as you can see. Had a great time, highly recommend and we'll certainly be back again!

Yelp
Had such a great time here at their happy hour. We went back again the following week because it was so fun. Would recommend calling and booking a reservation. Everyone is so nice and accommodating. The food and wine was awesome too. Great Henderson find for anyone looking for some great wine and cheese

Yelp
Wow! The owner, I believe her name was Diane was so knowledgeable and friendly when my husband and I stopped in with our boys. She was behind the deli/cheese counter and asked us what we liked and gave us tastings based on our preferences. We bought all of the cheese she suggested, because we had been able to try them and decide that we loved them all. Lol. She said next time we would try more savory cheeses! The price is for cheese we're comparable to what you'd pay at the grocery. We also ended up purchasing duck ham and prosciutto, she gave us a sample of prob 6 diff meats total and I'm a prosciutto kinda gal. So I stuck to that, since I'd be pleased with it. My husband loves duck and was happy they had duck to pair with cheese. We are definitely coming back. We'd love to do a class, which is on Thursday nights. If we had family in town to watch our kids during that time, we would be in trouble, wanting to go every week. There was another deal mentioned that's like happy hour Tues to Fri, 2-6 pm for $40. That includes a bottle of wine that's featured next to their deli and a cheese/wine board. I know what I have scheduled when my FIL comes to town. Happy hour and a wine class! We definitely will be back. We loved that the owner took the time to tell us about all the different things that we tried. Don't mind spending money and helping a small business when you can tell they take pride in what they do and their store.

Yelp
Great selection and service. Staff is knowledgeable about the products. Always fun to stop by and see what's new.

Yelp
I am spoiled. Having lived in Los Angeles, I had quite the choice for fancy cheese shops. Not so, really, in Vegas. So god bless Valley Cheese & Wine. They have an unbelievable selection of the most scrumptious cheeses available, incredible prepared boards, and a killer wine selection that I'm willing to drive across town for. The family members who own the place are all extremely knowledgeable in all things cheese and wine. Prepare to be impressed and delighted! Oh--and there are Thursday night classes that are so much fun. I've been to one and have another coming up soon. Great night out and super informative. I feel smarter and pudgier already.

Yelp
This is my 3rd time here. I can officially say I love this place. I've experienced the same great service every time from this small business team (Mom, Dad and daughter- be prepared to be called "hun"). Enjoy the baguettes, the wine and the delicious variety of cheeses. Happy hour is from 2-6, $35 for a board and a bottle. It's a small space so come early, call ahead or be patient. You can also take a board to go and they have an excellent variety of international wines. I personally enjoyed asking the owner about cheese, tasting samples and taking yummy stinky treats home. Enjoy the small town feel and all that comes with it!

Jeani A.

Yelp
Oh my goodness, second time here with a group and another incredible time was had by all! We used the private 'classroom' for Happy Hour, had 13 so did the Charcuterie Tray for 2 and bottle of wine, throughout the table and were able to order different bottles of wine depending on our likes. And every charcuterie platter had different cheeses and meats along with jams/mustards, dried fruits! The owner has an impressive resume of cheese expertise and goes through every single platter on the table explaining each cheese, how it's made, milk it is made from and region it originated! By the end of our time every morsel of food was gone and not a drop of wine was left! Can't wait to go back, great place for couples or groups!
google avatar

John C.

Yelp
Nice shop with a selection of cheeses -- many raw-milk and hard to find types, charcuterie and old and new world wines that tick most of the boxes for everyday drinking as well as some special occasion bottles. Enthusiastic, knowledgeable and friendly staff. And to top it off, the Henderson branch of the best butcher in town, the Butcher Block is a few doors down. If I lived in Henderson I would also try the Happy Hour tastings. The charcuterie platters looked great.
google avatar

Tisch H.

Yelp
This is a great place to stop for a wonderful selection of wine and gourmet cheeses. They also have a selection of pate and sweets. The wines come at different price points from 10.99 to the 100.00 range depending on the label. There are so many lovely options. The owner Diane and her staff are always a pleasure and so knowledgeable! Come into the store to take home some delicious delights or stay for happy hour 3-7 for a bottle of wine and charcuterie board for 35.00! And grab some food to go. So worth it.
google avatar

Yelp
Such a fantastic little spot! The family that runs the spot is very friendly and helpful! The cheese selection is beyond amazing and the happy hour is A MUST!!!! I have already been back a few times and am already planning many more visits!

Yelp
This was an excellent experience! We had a gift card so decided to give it a try with the wife. We were greatly surprised by the store, the hostess, the engaged experience, and the warm space. If you like wine and cheese (who wouldn't!!) please try this place and be blown away! I will be coming back soon!

Yelp
Amazing little cheese and wine shop in Henderson. They have such a great variety that you can't find at a normal grocery store. I came in recently for their bottle and board Happy Hour and was blown away. Such a beautiful and delicious charcuterie board paired with your choice of wine (I believe there were 12 different bottles of wine to choose from). I'll definitely be back again!
google avatar

Yelp
Thanks to the super-friendly staff at Valley Cheese & Wine, I left with a gorgeous Chardonnay and box of chocolate for a friend, and a delicious Riesling and selection of cheeses, crackers, and honey for me. (Treat yo'self!) This place is a total gem. The knowledge and passion the staff here have for cheese and wine is palpable. Plus, they also have a beautiful charcuterie for 2 that you can order and carry out. How awesome is that?! I'll be a regular here for sure. Am longing for another bottle of that Riesling already!

Heather N.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem. There happy hour is great deal. The cheese board was worth the price alone. The wine choice was phenomenal. They have a section in the back to relax. The owner is so personable.

Yelp
I can not say enough good things about this amazing family owned business! I first stopped in here while looking at homes in the area. Right now I live on the West side and don't get to Henderson much. Since then, I have made the drive out twice just to get some amazing cheese, pâté, and wine here. Diana knows everything about cheese and I will be honest, it is my FAVORITE food! They carry Époisses which is my absolute favorite French "stinky" cheese and is very difficult to find. She is great with suggesting alternatives since I live alone and can't finish a whole circle of it before it goes bad. I also LOVE the pâté. I have got the port duck liver pâté and the duck Foie Gras mousse. I usually also grab a couple of bottles of wine which they have most major regions of old and new world wine. Of course they also have chocolate, jams, crackers, and charcuterie. There is a tasting area with wine on tap (closed at the moment due to Covid). They also have Happy Hour from 3-7 which includes a cheese and meat plate with a bottle of wine for only $30 (you can get this to go until Covid is done). That's insane! If you are in the Henderson area and want a 1 stop Wine party shop with food and all the accouterment, this is your place! I just stopped in today to get my NYE delectables. Highly recommend it.
google avatar

Courtney C.

Yelp
I ordered the number 2 charcuterie board that feeds 6-8 people. We've been enjoying it all weekend after a few days relaxing by the pool. I would highly recommend their charcuterie boards to anyone craving some delicious meats and cheese!
google avatar

Sara H.

Yelp
I highly recommend Valley Cheese & Wine. 1st of all, their customer service is consistently wonderful. Literally every time I go in, every single employee seems genuinely to happy to have me there. I'm not a fancy person & tend to look kind of scrubby. They don't care! Next, I'm a spur of the moment person. I never have the insight to order ahead of time. Whenever I ask them if I can get a charcuterie board for like that day, they do everything in their power to accommodate. Next, this is a family run business, not a huge corporation. I prefer to support small businesses. Next, sometimes I have to bring in my toddler with me. Because that's what happens when you're a mom who loves wine. That would usually panic owners/employees of a wine store. Not these folks! Next, I am not a high roller- I usually spend under $20/bottle. They treat me the same as if I spend hundreds! Did I mention their charcuterie boards are customizable & amazing? Highly recommend! They also have events that seem fun, unfortunately I have yet to attend because of said toddler. One day!!!

E P.

Yelp
If you love cheese and want something different, this is the place. They have cheese from all over the world, jams, crackers, wines and more. You can taste before you buy. I purchased the Fourme Moelleux and Wens Cranberry along with the Cherry Paste.
google avatar

Diona J.

Yelp
I am a sucker for a good charcuterie. I mean, I literally make a decision on a restaurant with friends on if they have one on the menu . But what is one to do when you want all the yum Of charcuterie without the stress of dining out or the labor of creating one yourself. Luckily I stumbled on to Valley Cheese and wine while performing a desperate search while I was near green valley. I was beyond impressed with the presentation and selection with reasonable pricing. Every item was delicious. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our date night platter from the comfort of our home.
google avatar

Kennedy S.

Yelp
My husband and I love this place, but with covid, it has been harder to get anything good. Also, many of the cheeses we want are not offered. To be honest, there are many websites that you can order French cheese directly from France, and it arrives in within a few days. (fromages.com) --Your mailman might hate you (stinky cheese package), but getting cheese directly shipped to you from France is a more exciting and yummier experience. (I could not believe the taste and quality difference --nothing you could possible find in the states!) I still really enjoy this place and trying samples, but it's not quite the same as it was before covid. My trips have not been as frequent lately. I'm hoping everything goes back to normal bc it really is a gem; or use to be.

Yelp
Valley Cheese & Wine had a soft opening for bottomless mimosas on Sunday, 11 April. The owner delivered great customer service and is knowledgeable. On top of this stellar service, she has an amazing personality. My friends and I had a blast!!! I have ordered their charcuterie plate (paired with wine from their happy hour) in the past. If you haven't already, try their happy hour.
google avatar

Amber K.

Yelp
I stopped by for the charcuterie special, and boy was that something SPECIAL! Everything was delicious, there was even fresh warm bread to go with all the specialty cheeses. Along with our wine selection, we were given generous portions of prosciutto, nuts, dried fruits and different types of cheese (some I wouldn't have typically ordered, but were delicious). The ambience was upbeat and relaxed, very enjoyable. We were able to chat without having to raise our voice above other tables or the music. The owner even recommended a tapas restaurant (Forte) which we later tried and enjoyed also. Great company, nice atmosphere, delicious food, awesome presentation, overall a great end of the week treat

Yelp
This family owned business is so cute.. The owners are so kind and have great recommendations for whatever it is you are looking for.. Great service and a wonderful selection of unique wines. Love coming in to have some cheese and wine.

Yelp
We had a wonderful happy hour at Valley Cheese & Wine. A great place to catch up with friends, the wine and the Charcuterie Board was perfect. Very friendly staff and we'll be back again.

Yelp
I love this place!!! Diana has now become my go to person for cheese wine education!!? She brings such a homie vibe to the store, just the kind of place I've been looking for! She knows her stuff, and she always tries her best to point you in the right direction! I also love their wine tasting machine! It lets you taste you wine taste at your leisure!

Yelp
Great little find in Henderson. They came through and made us a great meat and cheese plate for Thanksgiving. We will definitely be back for more.

Yelp
Having lived next to Wisconsin my whole life, I'm used to great cheese and being surrounded by cheese. So when moving from Chicago to the Las Vegas area, it was important that we find a good cheese place. This location has a healthy selection of, not only cheese, but wines and other items as well. If there isn't a certain cheese they have, they were more than willing to look into ordering it if possible. We decided on an aged gouda cheese, and they were awesome enough to slice open a new wheel of aged gouda (beefmaster). Definitely recommend them for your catering needs, or if you need some good cheese and wine.

Rose F.

Yelp
Our first time here and we will 100% be back! I forgot to take pics of our cheese board but it was fabulous! It's a family-owned business and everyone there is exceptionally friendly and personable. Definitely on the pricy side, but they do have free wine tastings and a happy hour on weekdays. There were also a lot of regulars there which is always a sign of a good business. Glad we finally went..looking forward to going back!

Yelp
I can't say enough good things about this business, the owner Diana, and her amazing staff! Where do I even begin?! We've thrown a lot of parties, and have used a lot of businesses over the years. We used Valley Cheese and Wine's classroom space to throw a bridal shower and it was one of the best experiences we've ever had working with a business. Diana went above and beyond to make this day special; from playing Star Wars music over the speaker (the theme of the shower), to playing the bride's favorite Star Wars movie on the tv. The food and drinks were amazing!! The perfect pairing of meats, cheeses, and wine recommended by Diana and her staff. Everyone left stuffed! We all had such a wonderful time!! I highly recommend planning your small event here, or just stopping by for a board and some wine/beer!
google avatar

Yelp
I had been wanting to try this place for the longest time and decided to order a charcuterie board for two very last minute yesterday. Not only was everyone extremely nice and helpful but the board was sooo yummy! We enjoyed everything on it. I will definitely be going back soon!

Yelp
This is an amazing little shop. I was greeted by the owner Diana. She was extremely helpful in choosing some great cheeses and meats for a wine event I am attending. She took her time in introducing me to some great cheeses and meats. She takes the time to talk to you about your preference in tastes to help you pick the some great options. You can tell that she knows her stuff and loves what she is doing. She also introduced me to an amazing duck ham. This is going to be my new go to spot for my charcuterie and wine needs. I am going to recommend Valley Cheese and Wine to anyone and everyone. I am always excited to find a new family owned business. I am just happy to know I have a great place like this in my neighborhood. I will definitely be back to find some new favorites.

Yelp
This place is run by the greatest couple from France since....Yvonne & Charles De Gaulle. Or make that.......Brigitte Bardot & Roger Vadim. Hmmmm.....the greatest French couple since......Josephine & Napoleon Bonaparte!!!!! You could not meet friendlier business owners than this Parisian husband and wife. Every question I ask them they answer honestly. I come in with a list of recommendations from a friend in Paris and they had it all in stock! What separates this place is that the owners put ZERO PRESSURE on you to buy anything. You could say I want 1/4 of this cheese and they honor it not giving you back 1/2 pound of cheese. Their knowledge of everything they stock is par excellence They will help you match cheese with crackers/sides and wine to go with it. You can tell them your price range and they will accommodate your price range. Furthermore because they have extreme knowledge on everything in their store - you will not find a fresher cheese and meat selection anywhere in Las Vegas. I will shop here again and again and again and plan on making 12 stops a year and will tell all my friends about this place and when my French peps come to visit me, I will take them here.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place! Good selection of wine and an incredible selection of cheese and cheese knowledge. My wife and I love coming here for an afternoon happy hour wine and cheese board.

Yelp
Owned by a husband and wife who really know their stuff. Bob oversees the wine program and Kristin the cheese. They offer weekly wine classes, that tend to sell out pretty quick. They also sell Charcuterie and small gifts for the foodie or wino in your life.

Yelp
Family owned business with a great selection of cheese and wine. Also a great place to get gifts for friends/colleagues/family gatherings! And the staff is super friendly and helpful. I went in for 1 bottle and left with lots of great gifts for friends and family! Will definitely be back for more.

Yelp
I'm currently visiting LV and went to Valley wine and cheese. My expectations were modest at best since most places that purport to do both usually fall short in one of the 2, however they executed on both fronts. Kristin was as knowledgeable as she was affable. So helpful. We got a beautiful cow's mill blue from France, an alpine style goat, and a mild wash rind style sheep milk cheese. I didn't think it possible for her to be as adroit in the realm of wine. I was pleasantly mistaken. I was looking for a dry crisp Riesling. We spoke of three in depth and she was able to wax poetically on the nuances of the 3 in question. One expressing a bit more petrol on the front, while the one we went with expressing the epitome of the style while finishing with floral and aromoatic compenents that would best compliment our cheese selections. The experience culminated when I added 2 cracker selections, and saying off hand I'd prefer a baguette. She told us to forgo her crackers, abandoning a sale, suggesting to go down the row to pick what is our preferred vehicle, a lovely rustic bread. As a enthusiast of all things oenolgical with a commensurate adoration for formage, kristins expertise and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Thank you for making my day special. Thank you.

Yelp
Having a get together with some co workers a few of us planned to bring some wine and charcuterie so we came here to see what they offer. My part was to pair different sides to go with the meats and cheeses already bought from a coworker at this shop. I was immediately welcomed by two of the staff members who were willing to help me out. They took their time to show different alternatives to properly match the other portion of the board. I bought some imported cherries and honey and several types of crackers. The staff is well knowledge and patient explaining all of to me. I plan on going here again for some wine options and for any charcuterie needs i have.
