I stopped by this Valley Country Market to go to Loqui. I saw that they charge for parking and they use the camera to get your license plate. I parked across the street and walked to the place I was grabbing food at. I saw this market has Blue Bottle Coffee, Lodge Bread Company, Van Leewen Ice Cream and other places too.

A lot of cute places to go. I love that they have Loqui, so I don’t have to go downtown for these chef-style (!) tacos. I also like how everything is arranged, you can grab a small gift, get matcha, or even book a massage after a workout. Very convenient, clean and modern spots. Parking was a bit confusing, drivers usually don’t like using QR codes to validate the free parking, but what can we do… this tech is everywhere now. I came here expecting a quick, pleasant stop to try the new ice cream shop, but instead I got a taste of what corporate surveillance looks like in everyday life. The moment I entered the parking lot, cameras scanned my license plate, and almost instantly I received a text from a company called Metropolis. They somehow connected my plate to my phone number and messaged me out of nowhere. I never gave Valley Country Market or Metropolis permission to collect, share, or use my personal information. There are no visible warnings at the entrance telling drivers that their plates are being recorded or that their data is being stored. The text itself is vague and manipulative. It talks about updates to their terms and privacy policy but does not make clear what data is being taken, how long it is stored, or how it is used. The pricing message is also unclear. It says “Rates start at $7.00 for 2 hours of parking,” but does not say whether the first two hours are free or if you are automatically charged. The wording feels deliberately confusing. You are automatically opted into a system you never agreed to. There is no way to opt out, delete your information, or even see what is being kept. That is not modern convenience. That is surveillance and exploitation. Valley Country Market has essentially handed its visitors’ private data to a third-party company with no transparency or oversight. What happens to all that data? How long do they keep it? Who else gets access? This is not parking management; it is data harvesting. I used to enjoy the stores and restaurants here, but now I refuse to support a property that treats its guests like data points instead of people. Valley Country Market needs to take accountability and remove this predatory system. Until they do, I am staying far away and encouraging others to do the same. I'll be happy to update my review if they ever remove this awful parking system.

They now charge $7 if you are in the parking lot for 15 mins. Been going there for years. Never again. Bye Blue bottle and Lodge Bread

Great shops whose business will sadly be impacted by a terrible parking system. Was unaware I was being charged $7 each time I spend more than 15 minutes on this lot. $7 isn’t even how much it costs to park in Beverly Hills. Some of my friends would rather just not enter altogether and go eat elsewhere than be charged this much. Woodland Hills is not the place to charge middle-classed hardworking people $7 for parking when they’re already overpaying $20 for a tiny salad from Sweetgreen.

Worst parking experience ever, metropolis parking is an annoying and intrusive system. I will never patron one of these businesses again solely because of this parking system.

This place has really gotten a face lift over the last couple of years. But tere are very few shops to go to but they did add a blue bottle and a healthy greens.

Valley Country Mart has everything you can think of from the best work out classes, to some of the best coffee in the valley, and even amazing açai bowls!! Not to mention parking is so easy

Awesome shopping center with a great line up of businesses! Sweetgreen and Loqui recently opened up that I have been frequenting always followed by ice cream at Van Leeuwen. Blue Bottle for coffee after a nice massage at The Now and so many other great shops. And of course can't forget about Lodge Bread - love sitting in that patio. Make sure you validate from any business you visit and you won't have any issues with parking.

Update: customer service got back to me promptly and they are working to refund the money. I appreciate their quick response and know it can be difficult dealing with unhappy customers so I wanted to give them a shout out. Hopefully no more issues with parking here. Wish they had a better parking situation though because every time I've been there I've seen at least one car going the wrong way and the hedges while look nice make it difficult to see when trying to exit onto a busy road. Okay end of my Ted talk/rant. Echoing what everyone says about the parking. I only thought to check because of all the negative reviews and sure enough we were charged for 96 hours of parking. This should be illegal and is super scammy. Now I have to waste my time emailing customer service about this. Love the businesses in this mall but I will think twice about going here because parking is a hassle.

Would not return due to parking. Was charged for 24 hr parking because the cameras did not capture my car leaving. I had to email the parking company to issue the refund (which they said they will do) but this is unnecessary extra work to contact customer service, explain the situation and provide details, then have to keep checking to make sure my refund has been given. Too much wasted time and effort to get a cup of coffee.

I like this plaza, it's been nice to see it grow since it opened. I've visited several shops at this market including Blue Bottle Coffee, Lodge Bread, Van Leeuwen, Bunda, Healthy Greens, and more. Valley Salt Cave is one of my favorite places- I was here for a sound bath a few weeks ago and can't wait to attend another one. I'm very excited for the opening of Bar Method, Pure Sweat, and Sweetgreen! I have The Now on my list just need to make an appointment. Only drawback is the parking system- you have to remember to scan a barcode when you visit a shop otherwise they charge your card the max amount for the day. You're supposed to get 1.5 (2?) hours of free parking so long as you remember to scan the barcode you'll be fine.

I wouldn't have known that this plaza have been revamp if not for the Yelp Elite Event for Healthy Greens. Driving in and out was no fuss. It was still early so plenty of parking spaces available. I agree with the fellow Yelpers, this is a hidden gem. I came here twice with my client long time ago. It was looking old and not as good now. It looks more modern and upscale vibe. Some of the stores are open now and more coming. Dog friendly too. Parking is free for 2 hours as long as you validate it from the store where you visited. It was easy to follow the steps. When you drive away, you'll get a message from the website saying thank you and how much you paid.

THE PARKING SYSTEM SUCKS AND IS A SCAM. They advertise free parking for two hours with validation, which would be awesome if it were true, but it isn't. You get charged a service fee which is only 99¢ but that's never explained nor advertised. So, you could visit maybe 3x per week expecting free parking and get charged 12 dollars for "free parking". To make matters worse, you won't even know you're charged on the app. It says "no charge" but then you get your bill in the mail and you realize you were charged. AVOID AND PARK SOMEWHERE ELSE. It sucks because there are so many cool shops in here, from clothes to coffee. But false advertising is deceptive and rude. I would rather pay if it were advertised properly. Do better.

Don't even bother. The parking system is infuriating and shady as hell and there's not one shop in there that makes it worth parking. If you absolutely must come here, park on the street and avoid the hassle of their disgusting parking system. First of all, I had no idea they had implemented paid parking. Not a single clear sign announcing this when you drive in and once I realized it was too late. Big brother cameras caught my license plate. I was in a store for all of 20m, the poor shop girl had zero clue about the validation and I didn't think of asking (this is my own fault) so I just left. So now because I didn't scan a validation code I'm being charged $7.59 ($6.00 + 0.6 in taxes and don't forget a 99 cent "convenience fee" which is absolutely nothing but undisguised greed. Taking notes from Ticketmaster are we?) for a 20m visit. I feel so sorry for all those small businesses in there because people are just not going to bother. I wonder what someone is supposed to do if they don't have a smartphone? This all smacks of pure corporate greed. Not going back.

If there is rating below 1 star, I'd firmly and enthusiastically give it. I'm going to further update this review, and elaborate more on the poor rating and efficiency of their camera systems that picture's our car's license plate so that they may charge fees for the time we've spent there. Multiple times I would arrive to the area in the morning, validate to obtain the 2 hour free complementary parking, then leave WITHIN or NEAR that 2 hr time frame so that I don't get charged for any parking fees. The pictures I am providing below tell a different story; a reflection of the absolutely abysmal, and atrocious system. In no way, shape, or form was I present at the plaza for more than 3 hours, but pictures provided, tells a different story; I parked my car at the plaza for 15 to 17 hours?!? Did I fucking camped here at the plaza or something? Because I've no recollection of staying at the plaza for that absurd amount of time. It is September 28th as of this writing. I have been in contact with them since the beginning of September. Their customer service reflects the quality of their camera system; incompetent. Revert back to free parking.

Hidden shopping center located next to the French Quarter Woodland Hills, this was previously listed at The Village Shopping Center, but is actually for the Valley Country Market. This little inviting plaza of sorts is home to Blue Bottle Cafe (a must), Subway (eat fresh), Lodge Bread (made fresher), Ell Eve Spa (self care) and a few amazing small and local others. The parking lot is pretty spacious yet fills up fast on weekends. I usually pass through here on my way to Trader Joe's, the French Quarter or when on this side of the Los Angeles Valley. There is street parking available as well. Good place for some stellar juice and beverages, quick bites and you time.

Came here today for breakfast at Lodge Bread. Scanned their 2 hours validation upon entering. Was here for 2 hours 17 mins and was charged $6.60 for the 17 minutes I was over...that's ABSURD!! The validation credited me $3.00 and of that 17 minutes, 10 of it was trying to back out of my parking spot that happened to be near the exit...soo many cars turning left even though it's marked not to. Not sure I will solicit businesses moving forward and if I do, o sure as heck won't park on the lot! Something needs to change, not acceptable and bad for business!!!!

Scanned the QR code for free parking and it wouldn't work without entering a credit card. Why do I need a credit card for free parking? Dumb. Then the parking service sent a text saying I owed money for parking there. When I pointed out the QR code didn't work for the validation they told me they would give me a one time pass. Why make things a hassle for your customers? Why am I expected to provide so much personal information just to park?

I discovered Valley Country Market through my visits to Kaiser in Woodland Hills. First time, I came here to get a Blue Bottle Coffee and then in my next visits, quickly discovered Valley Country Market offers a lot of unique boutiques and food options. I then discovered Lodge Bread which in my opinion has the best breakfast and coffee in town. I highly recommend visiting Valley Country Market, you will find your happy place there.

***3rd update*** Still a terrible parking lot. This morning again even though I scanned the discount code when leaving the gym, it did not go through. I had to manually close the visit myself when I got home. Of course it said "discount applied" when I left but the discount magically did not work as per usual. I always check now so they don't charge me and good thing I did as the parking lot is still glitchy. I still recommend parking elsewhere if you can avoid this place. Also to Sarah, no that's not correct. Why would you lie about me exiting through the wrong way? I always exit from the center parking lot as the sign says. And yes I exited from the center this morning too. I have never exited from the entrance. I have been coming to this parking lot for months and I have never exited or entered incorrectly. Please do not claim I did so just to make your terrible parking system look better. This was yet another error on your end. Please don't talk down to me and pretend I was in the wrong.

I moved from Playa Del Rey to Woodland Hills just a few blocks away from Valley Country Market. I have to say while it's a change of pace from small beach town vibes, Valley Country Market is a gem and has absolutely everything and more you'd want in one place. And so many more workout studios, restaurants, and other retail are coming in. I feel so lucky to be able to walk here! Could spend a full day of pampering, self-care, and shopping and have the best day (of which I've done several times).

My one stop for all my self-care needs Bunda, Elleve, Bar Method, NOW Massage, Healthy Greens, etc. All the shop owners are super friendly, too!

My wife and I love it here. The valley can always use places like valley country mart. Start with a workout at Bunda, grab a coffee at blue bottle, sit in the relaxing courtyard and shop at the local boutiques -- does it get better?

Valley Country Market is home to many nice businesses that include cosmetics, eateries, and fashion. I particularly enjoy visiting Blue Bottle Coffee and Lodge Bread. I also enjoy that a few of the businesses here are dog friendly and have treats outside for dogs. What stands out to the most were the recent updates to parking. Parking here is now free for the first two hours, and your phone can remember exactly when you enter and exit. Verification is as easy as scanning the shop that you visit, and once you exit your phone notifies their servers that your car is now off the lot. I couldn't ask for a smoother experience!

Love this place! The Now Massage is great, love the Lodge bakery for food. Blue Bottle coffee is a must. Bunda booty workout is phenomenal. Such a great shopping center.

I love this little plaza and am so excited for the new businesses that are joining it. Lodge bread has great food, amazing baked goods, breakfast and bread products to take home. As a mom to small children it's also the perfect spot to meet someone and eat outside easily with kids in tow. Blue bottle is right next door and has amazing coffee. I can't wait for sweetgreen to open and to try out the food at loqui. I'm also so excited for The Now massage to open as well and to treat myself to some of their services. If I'm not careful I'll be spending all my money here. It's just a great place to spend a weekend afternoon.

I haven't been to the Valley Country Mart since I last had an eyeglass prescription filled at Alpert Vision Care a while back. Parking was free then and I hadn't noticed when I was in yesterday late in the afternoon that there is now a fee to park in the lot after I got notification on a credit card I thought was fraud. If I'd known there was some big brother parking system involved I wouldn't have bothered to park in the lot and will not do so in the future even if I get free parking with the validation. I'm against all this tech invading our privacy and think it's shameful. I'm with everyone on Yelp complaining about it and how shady it is. It's too bad that I won't be back now patronizing these new shops that are nearby. I'd rather go to The Commons in Calabasas where parking is still free without a camera looking at our license plates.

Ya i know about the 2 hours free. Still, system is clunky, confusing and unclear. Please, would love a break down aka 'how to' here. I looked for one online and....nope. As i was looking up the barcode to utilize the two hours free, I had to click on text to see what the code was. Well, then the page to input is gone. So frustrating. Does it matter when you do the 2nd barcode to utilize 2 free hours? Can I do it straight away? Should I do it at the end? Also, since its a new way of doing parking....signs need to be clear. I feel bad for the folks who drove out the wrong way etc....

I hate to give any business less than a 5 star review, but this is not for the businesses in this complex, it's for the PARKING. I spent over $150 dollars at 2 stores here, and I got automatically charged $7.95 to park for LESS THAN 30 MINUTES! This is INSANE. And it's not doing those a businesses, that I frequent often, any favors. Nobody is going to be shopping or dining here with this crazy parking situation.

One of my favorite places to spend a Saturday morning! Lodge Bread is my absolute favorite bakery in the Valley - the BEST croissants! I usually go to the bakery, grab a coffee at Blue Bottle, and walk around looking at the shops.

What other shopping center in the area charges For parking? It is bad for the retailers. I was charged over $7.00 i did not realize I had previously marked at another area managed by Metropolis. The stores are wonderful and we need to support small business. However the management of the center needs to rethink their strategies to have customers that are supporting the local small business pay for un leased space.

I've visited this country market multiple times but recently, their parking system has been a nightmare. The parking instructions for this area are not clear and therefore, many customers are giving this market bad reviews (myself included). There are other small businesses outside of this market where parking won't be an issue. Please go elsewhere to get your coffee or loaf of bread!

Do not be fooled by the parking sign that says FREE for 2 hours. I used the QR code. Filled it in. Parked for less than an hour. Paid $7 coffee and was charged 6.99 parking! When I contacted the parking company for a refund they refused! I contacted the stores where I shopped and they were able to have a refund sent. Thank you Lodge! Apparently there is a validation system in place. You have to scan the code at the store and the store gives you some kind of code? I'm not clear. Because I didn't see anything anywhere that explained this. Just the sign that says 2hrs Free. It didn't even say 2 hrs free with validation. So many of my friends have driven out if this lot and we're charged $6.99 for parking without knowing it and didn't have the time to chase it down. So they are never returning. I feel so sorry for the wonderful vendors who have already lost so many customers. Ideally Valley Country Mart fixes this and helps educate the customs on their secret validation system.

Had an unbelievable experience today. Thankfully, I noticed that they implemented a new parking scheme and my registration (which took 2 minutes) I found out put me over the 15 minutes free parking. I was charged 6.99 for parking for 17 minutes. In the valley. $14 loaves of bread, $5 cups of coffee, and now $6.99 parking!

the whole parking situation is overly complicated . the validation clearly is not true and doesn't work. scanned the qr code at blue bottle for "2 hours" but ended up getting charged anyways. So ridiculous, I feel bad for these businesses since many people will want to avoid parking there now. please fix this or get rid of it.

Pretty much a scam if you park here. They don't help you validate and charge you for a full day, even when the app is down or not working.

Love coming to this place for Blue Bottle and Lodge Bread! I'm always in and out within 20 minutes. Came today and found out they are now implementing paid parking. The hassle of scanning and using the app alone makes me want to stay away from this entire plaza. The rates are absurd lmao. Even if I get two hours free parking, using the app to get those two hours is difficult. Find a new coffee place! Order ur lodge bread for delivery :/

Pointless parking lot, charge a lot. All those stores and coffee shop are available at the other plazas with free parking.

My go to spot to come get coffee or lunch. They also have some trendy boutiques that you don't find in other places. The greenery and gardens are beautiful to relax and do some work.

This place is AMAZING. It's so fancy and well-done. It's a great place to come to shop, dine, and relax. It's an outdoor mall with a bunch of retail stores, restaurants, fast food, dessert places, and even a 24 hour fitness! I've been to a few of their restaurants and they're all pretty good. The parking structure can be a little confusing, but they don't charge you a lot to park so that's a plus. There's also valet for people who don't want to deal with the garage. This place gets pretty crowded on the weekend so make sure to make a reservation if you're planning to eat at one of their restaurants!
