This is a great place! The owner is friendly and the food is delicious. They were very helpful going though the menu and helping me decide my treat for the day. I recommend the Churro Cheesecake. It's delicious alone, but add a scoop of ice cream to make it even better. They even have a fun Mini Claw Machine that my kids and I love to play while we are there. I highly recommend the place for an authentic Mexican treat.

I loved this ice cream shop! The owner, Armando, was so nice and obviously took pride in his food. The concha and Sherbet were great. It was fun choosing the different toppings to go best with it. I'll definitely be back to try the churro cheesecake and street corn. There was a lot of love put into the decor and concept of the shop- 10/10 for ambiance.

A cute little "Heladeria" with a day of the dead motif. Delicious and refreshing ice cream, raspados, and aguas. Fun and funky artwork our "scooper" Ernesto was very friendly and helped us make our selection. We chose a strawberry raspado with vanilla ice cream and fresh fruit on top it was delicious. I came in on Sunday after driving with/my girls for something sweet. I almost gave up when I decided to try this shop. The outside parking lot looks questionable 😆but inside is decorated so cute and Hermando was super friendly, helpful and I loved the vibes of this ice cream sweet shop. We’re new to Az, & he gave me a bunch of recommendations. Would highly recommend

I am always craving Mexican snacks so when I came across this place I had to check it out! I will always be coming here now, when I need my fix! Love that it’s local and unique in its own way. Want to come back and see if I can connect my switch. Love the variety of snack options and the anime decor. The guy who helped us out, was super sweet and patient!

100% 10/10 for this hidden gem I truly think this place is not being found or ppl are not reviewing how great it is! Location you would not know that this cute little place is hidden in there, from the outside it's not something that screams amazing, then you walk in and see how lovely he has it decorated, so clean so welcoming and the owner is amazing at explaining specials they offer! He even called to check to see if the items were asked for had tree nuts or peanuts, he made sure to sanitize everything. They have the cutest little conches he mashed them special and so cute with little faces! I didn't even want to eat mine because of how freaking adorable it was! Ice cream is creamy and delicious, the churo cheesecake was great with matcha ice cream on top! I wish I could get the word out for this place more! I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

Delicious ice cream, friendly service, and what I think was a live house DJ? Stopped in to cap the night with a sweet treat and having never been I was excited by the recommendation. We asked to be surprised and we were not disappointed. Chocolate and vanilla ice cream in a Concha bread bowl with cream and strawberries along with chocolate chips. Can't wait to go back and try more as I know we could have gotten a lot more creative! Enjoyed eating in the cute dining room and I believe there was a live DJ in the other room keeping the vibes high!

This cute little shop was just what I needed to end what had previously been a not-so-great afternoon. The friendly and helpful owner made it hard to stick to just one thing. While ice cream is featured (They serve several less common flavors.) There also is a shaved ice , drinks and they do a nice take on several Mexican desserts so we didn't care that ice cream first spoiled our dinner.

Absolutely recommend!! This ice cream shop is cute and cozy. The owner, Armondo was friendly and generous. We were worried about being a big group and staying too late but the owner let us all catch up. I'm excited to see the expansion for a grab n go section.

I've been in here a couple times and was surprised this last time that they've torn down a wall, expanded and are preparing to serve food. The service has always been very friendly and helpful with suggestions. This time I got a churro cheesecake that was on special and went with coffee ice cream to top it. They recommended adding the white sauce and I'm really glad I did. Everything was really good. It's a fun little place to stop by for a refreshing bite and enjoy some friendly local service.

Adorable little mom and pop shop! Their corn in a cup was hot and fresh and their nachos wasn't to bad. Service went well, the lady working was very polite. Their decor was super cute! I liked the art work of Tanjiro and pickachu hehe

This spot is such a welcome addition to the area! There's music playing and it's such a vibe. There is a few tables inside and Armando was super helpful! We got a concha, elote and churro cheesecake. The place they get their concha's from are made fresh daily and served warm topped with cold ice cream and any toppings you want. The churro cheesecake is served with ice cream but I just got it topped with creama and fresh strawberries. It was super good. The elote was served warm with queso and Valentina. Overall a nice small business to come support with tasty treats that are sweet and savory!

Very cute place! Love the decor. Armando was super nice and friendly. They have fresh baked Concha's brought from another bakery. They open it up like a bread bowl and fill it with whipped cream and a scoop of ice cream of your choice with toppings. Whoever thought of this idea is brilliant! It was delicious and glad I came to try it out. It was a bit of a drive but worth it. I definitely recommend.

Brought my cousin here since this was his last night in Phoenix and he wanted a quick dessert. The first thing I noticed when we stepped in, was how we were welcomed in. The gentlemen begging the counter was very kind and patient with my cousin, giving him info and opinions. My cousin finally decided that he didn't want the churro cheesecake, and got the concha with ice cream instead. He loved it! I got the cheesecake- delicious! You definitely won't regret going here for some ice cream! I'll definitely go back!!

I have to say that the decorations of this place are done quite well. It's located in a run down plaza. There was really loud music playing in the parking lot, but I was glad that you could hardly hear it once you're inside the shop. The woman serving us had some trouble as she admitted her English wasn't very good. Some of the conchas are made differently which definitely confused us and she didn't do a good job of explaining it but we all just wanted their normal concha which is essentially a bread bowl but instead of soup, they put in a scoop of ice cream. It was pretty good. I even tried out one of their frescas con cremas which is a cup of strawberries and cream with other items such as walnuts and I had some mango in it too. One of my biggest gripes is that the prices on their website is incorrect and there are no prices on their menus. The frescas con crema should have cost $2 but it was $9.75. Thus, best to ask how much everything is since the whole website is displaying false information.

It may not look like it from the outside, but this is a super cute ice cream shop. The dude working the counter was super welcoming and took the time to introduce a lot of the menu to us. The house made churro cheesecake was awesome, and the concha turtles are super charming. We got there at just the right time to get fresh ones that had just been delivered 10 minutes prior. Didn't get a chance to try out the flaming hot cheetos served like elote, but there's always tomorrow~

Nestled in a tiny strip mall, Valley Ice Cream Shop offers up cool treats and a side of music. The mood is set before you enter the restaurant. Park your car and, you'll hear the sounds of Mexican music echoing from the speaker perched near the front door. Inside is a small, yet, festive ice cream shop. The employee stood at the ready, but I needed some time. For a dessert spot, the menu is fairly extensive. You'll probably need a few moments to review all the options, then a few more to talk yourself out of ordering everything on the menu. For my first visit, I settled on the Strawberry Raspados with sweet cream. It was refreshing and tasty. The large size lasted over an hour. Since I displayed a little restraint and DIDN'T order the entire menu, I'll need to visit again soon.

Very cute local ice cream and dessert shop in Downtown Phoenix. I had never had a concha before and the employee working there patiently explained what it was. He also made great recommendations for what ice cream and toppings would go together best with the sweet bread. The strawberries with the cookies and crème ice cream was so good. Overall it was a great experience at Valleys and I will be back!

Valley ice cream shop is a must! Located in a small shopping plaza, this restaurant holds so much character. We were immediately greeted by Armando and he gave us a run down of the menu. I chose a concha with vanilla ice cream and my two toppings of sprinkles and coconut flakes. My boyfriend ordered the churro cheesecake with both strawberry and cookies and cream ice cream, drizzled with sweet cream. The concha was so big, I opted to share with my daughter. I absolutely loved the idea of the concha stuffed with ice cream and the way the flavors merrier together was heavenly. It was a nice treat without being overly sweet. The churro cheesecake was also absolutely delicious. Armando told us a bit about his business and the community. He purchases his concha's and concha cupcakes from a local bakery, fresh daily. They do make the cheesecake in house, along with many other treats. He also showed us the back patio space that he hopes to turn into a space for customers to enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinners and even coffee. His mother owns the Mexican herb shop, located next door, which I thought was so cool. The decor alone is a sight to see and you can tell he takes so much pride in the space. Not only was the food absolutely delicious but the customer service was top notch. We will DEFINITELY be back.

Got tostilote and a mangonada raspados. Not a fan of the flavors. The chip bag is very small for the price and there was more mayo than corn or cheese. The raspados syrup wasn't sweet at all. My sister got a concha ice cream and it was so good. The shop is nice and decorated for Halloween and the owners mom is very sweet!

Was excited to have been able to try a new place that I normally wouldn't go to. Everyone was extremely friendly and nice which made the experience even better! The inside looks like a mom and pop which is like your neighborhood ice cream place... which if you're a kid at heart, you'd love it. The outside doesn't look as inviting so it really isn't a spot that normally would stand out to me but I'm happy I was able to try it. However, what it lacked in outside invitation was all removed once I tried what they offered and they have such a a variety. I myself have never had a concha before so this was amazing! The flavors were robust and truly Mexican flair. If you're looking for a different type of ice cream experience than the regular ol stuff... give it a shot! On a hot day... it's just what you need!

Happened to stumble upon this shop with my son and I'm glad I did. Customer service was awesome, food was delicious and place is a little gem. This place was a great find! What really set it apart from other places was the service. Not only did the owner let us sample a few things before we ordered, he took the time to get to know us and try to figure out what we liked. He knew it was our first time in the area and our first time trying Mexican desserts and he wanted us to enjoy dessert. He even offered to give us recommendations for other places and things to do as well. The dessert itself was different from what we were used to, but very good! The sweetness of the mango balanced out the tartness and saltiness of the tajin and chamoy. He even let us sample a couple other items after we paid and were eating our food!

Walking and there's one music playing, the interior is clean and air condition, it's really cute inside and very boutique feel. It's family owned and great service. Armando and his mom took good care of me and my first visit there. I ordered a mango Raspado with vanilla ice cream and crema. Everything looked fresh! And lots of tasty option. They have aguas frescas, icce cream and raspados. I will definitely be back! Open 7 days a week!

I went to this local ice cream shop because The concha was something on the menu and it sounded like something i wanted to try. The Concha was very flavorful and delicious. Many combinations you can make which was awesome. I got the Concha with Cookies & Cream ice cream with sprinkles on top. The service was amazing got our food fast and the worker was very nice and polite. The establishment was very welcoming and not Crowded so room to sit and enjoy my amazing meal!. The establishment also play great music to where I felt like I was ready to party with my ice cream in my hand.

I stopped by before work to get a little treat and man, I was impressed! I met the owner, who was very kind and helpful. I let him know what I like and he made this Chayamoda and it was delicious! I highly recommend this place!

Let's start off by saying how nice the owner of this cute little ice cream shop is! We were very welcomed from the start to the end. It was our first time trying these types of desserts and he was very good at explaining all the types of desserts. I ordered the mango covered in the michelada sauce. It was very delicious! I also tried some of the crema de frescas which was amazing! I definitely recommend this spot for anyone with a sweet craving with some healthy fruit options as well. :)

A hidden gem! Service was great and Armando was super friendly. He let my daughters go around the ice cream counter so they could see the choices. That might have been even better than the ice cream, except the selection of toppings was the winner!

Everything I ordered was delicious nothing came from a can everything super fresh and made to ordered, very friendly and courteous staff, my new favorite snack spot! Atmosphere with the music and decor transported me back to my tiendita in Mexico great spot to hang out will be back very soon!

Super friendly owner! Has the best fresas con crema I've ever had in Arizona and corn cocktail. I'll definitely be traveling to Phoenix from Tucson just for this shop it's definitely worth it! First time visiting, and I've never had any ice cream dessert like it! It's a warm concha (sweet bread) bowl, and they have like 20~ toppings and fillings to chose from. They use Thrifty ice cream and the dessert is so good. I had never had anything like this but Armando helped me thru the whole process and made me one w/ sweet & whip cream + vanilla ice cream + sprinkles & almonds. Wonderful place! Will be back!

Yoooo, you know the saying don't judge a book by it's cover yea it applies cuz the outside of the shop don't look very promising but the inside was dope, they had these dope lights and dark vines on the wall plus so chill music. All paired with the food the food... oof that shit was the fucking bomb. We got the concha and churros cheesecake with some ice cream. They make the churro cheesecake there as well as the cream they added on top, which they usually use for their fresas con crema. They also have some aguas frescas that i wish we had gotten some cuz they looked bomb af. Over all the place was a vibe plus hella good antojitos. 10/10 would recommend and def going back there
