We're from out of town so probably won't have the opportunity to return but if we were local this would be a regular stop Great tasting food and a pretty good selection of beverages. Server seemed new but still good service. Take away from this is you should give them a try, you won't be disappointed

What an incredible first experience! We’re opening a restaurant down the street and wanted to support a local business, so we gave this place a try. We were quickly seated and greeted with warm, fresh bread and butter. Our drinks arrived promptly, and our server suggested the salmon and a salad that surprisingly tasted just like a Big Mac—both were excellent. The menu choices were diverse and definitely exceeded our expectations. The manager recommended the key lime pie, which was fresh, creamy, and absolutely perfect. Prices were super reasonable for the exceptional food that was served! This will definitely be our new go-to spot, and we highly recommend giving it a try!

$24 for 6 ribs the size of my finger is a little silly, two bites of meat on each one. I almost never leave bad reviews but this kinda sucked, a lot of money for the smallest ribs I’ve ever gotten. Fries weren’t seasoned, was really looking forward to this place so just a bummer. Nice atmosphere, servers were a little slow but were kind.

I really like how they serve warm bread at this establishment. I ordered the VL tavern burger and fries. In my opinion, the food was just okay. A little expensive for the quality, and I felt like my burger needed some more oomph. The fries needed to be crispier, but it was well seasoned. The coleslaw was unnecessary for a burger meal. It's also not put in the most attractive container. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was good.

One of our favorite restaurants in downtown Wilmette. They have indoor and outdoor seating (weather permitting of course) and an extremely friendly staff. Come for dinner or swing by for a beverage of choice at their fantastic indoor bar area. The outdoor seating is also a great spot for the Tuesday night live music across the street at village hall.

Great place in downtown of Wilmette. Honestly too noisy, but the atmosphere is good. Dog friendly. It’s best to ask for outside.

I don't write many reviews but our waiter, Evan, was super attentive, polite, kid friendly, very conscious of a Nut allergy and knew the restaurant and menu well. Shrimp wrap was delicious, old fashion was good. Lastly, the manager came and checked on our experience twice, and they threw in free beignet for being first time customers, we'll be back and recommend!
