Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk

This was my favourite attraction in the region. Even though it was raining, I absolutely loved walking above the canopy. The views were spectacular, and the structure itself is a real feat of engineering. You can do the loop more than once if you like, and there’s also a ground walk afterwards. We were lucky as it was very quiet, which made the experience even more special. I imagine it could feel a bit crowded during busier times, though. Such a unique and memorable experience! 🌿✨

The Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk was one of the coolest experiences on our WA road trip. Walking among those enormous red tingle trees up high was honestly magical it’s like seeing the forest from a whole new perspective. The walkway feels safe and sturdy, and you get amazing views over the canopy that you just don’t get from the ground. Down below the giant trees are incredible too massive trunks, mossy nooks, and that peaceful forest vibe that makes you want to slow right down. Great spot for photos, quiet moments, and just soaking up how huge and beautiful nature can be. Easy to find, well kept, and totally worth spending an hour or two exploring. If you’re heading through the South West forests, this place is a must-stop.

A fabulous walk high above the local Tingle trees. The tree top walk was safe, though a bit wobbly but the birds eye view was worth it. Down below at ground level, the boardwalk path was an easy walk, the sheer size of these giant trees compared to their smallish root systems was amazing. Lots of detailed information along the way and interactive activities for kids. Definitely worth a visit!!

It's such a nice park. If you're interested in something calm, you can walk through the giant tingle trees. There's lot of funky looking trees with funny names. You can get some nice pictures inside of tingle trees. If you're interested in something more intense, you can walk the tree top walk. I think the view is really cool and something you can't really get around here at a lot of parks. If you're scared of heights probably don't do it, but otherwise it's one of the coolest places I've been to around here.

The tree top walk and the surrounding trail were truly awesome and offered beautiful views throughout the experience. There is also a small coffee shop and restrooms available on site, which makes the visit even more convenient and enjoyable.

Beautifully created walk totally accessible. A great way to view these giant tingle trees. We also walked the empire way. Most of this other than a few areas is also accessible. It's worth taking the free guided walk if you want to learn a little more. I'd like to see some more local guides to learn the history and lore of these trees to the guardians of this area.

We included the visit to the Valley of the Giants Treetop Walk, in Denmark. Our visit was in December 2025. The experience was absolutely fantastic !!! Well recommended - yes, plan it into your schedule! The Treetop Walk is paid to enter, but the other walks are free. Allow about 30 minutes for the treetop walk, and another 30 minutes for a few of the other walks. The walks are self guided, option for guided walks at certain times. The facility is really well designed and well maintained - a lot of time and love. The shop is the usual merchandise... Service personnel were sharp and friendly, and very helpful. Thank you.

The Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk is truly one of the iconic experiences in Western Australia and absolutely worth a visit if you’re in the Albany, Walpole, or Denmark region. We stopped here on our way back from Albany, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of the trip. The treetop walkway takes you high up into the canopy of the famous tingle trees, giving you a completely different perspective of the forest. The views are breathtaking, and it feels like walking among giants hence the name! The walkway is very safe and stable, so even if you’re a little nervous with heights, it’s still very manageable and well worth it. This is also a wonderful place for families. Our kids absolutely loved it, especially discovering the two fairy doors hidden along the way little touches that spark curiosity and imagination. On the ground level, the Ancient Empire walk is equally fascinating, taking you past enormous trunks and hollowed trees that have stood for centuries. If you time your visit well, I highly recommend staying for the sunset. Watching the forest glow with golden light from up in the treetops is a magical experience we’ll never forget. There’s also a visitor centre with a gift shop and friendly staff who are more than happy to share local knowledge about the trees and the region. Parking is easy, and the site is well-maintained, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Overall, the Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk is a must visit attraction in the South West whether you’re a couple, a family with kids, or a solo traveller. It’s both educational and awe inspiring, and it makes you appreciate just how special and unique Western Australia’s forests really are.

A good tree top walk in the Valley of Giants. I'm typically afraid of heights. However, the large structure and clear sturdiness of this tree top walk sets it apart from others. It is a very easy walk, and does not require significant levels of fitness. The staff are very friendly and offer great tips on other local attractions.
