Valley to the Sea Winery

Very impressive small winery. The owner obviously cares about the craft and is producing quality wines. These wines are delicious now and the reds will keep great for the future.

It’s very nice, tasty and minimalist.

Tasty selections with friendly service

Stopped by The Public Market to pick up to go food and noticed a now open new wine tasting room across from the Empty Bowl. So of course decided to check it out. We were welcomed with a great smile and greeting. Since we were on a tight schedule we decided to just have a glass of Sauvignon Blanc while waiting for food. We were invited to enjoy our food there at their tables while we enjoyed our wine; but we were heading to meet others so couldn't hang very long. Their grapes come from the Five ADA areas of Santa Barbara County and we will be back to try more. Great location, great ambiance, great wine with friendly service. What's not to love.

Happy and celebrating a graduation, we walked up to public market. We showed up here two minutes before the woman working here's lunch break was done and so we sat down to wait. The woman working here showed up and was annoyed that we had sat down at one of the tables. She was very annoyed with us and condescending, rolling her eyes . Even though she was 5 minutes late. It was so unacceptable that we walked out and strolled down the street to The Good Lion where we received great service!

Well giving them the benefit of doubt. We made a reservation on opentable for wine tasting at 11am and even got a text to confirm we will be there. Showed up with no one and a hand written note saying for the month of December they open from 5-9pm?!!! Called the number and the message says they open at noon Monday to Wednesday! It's not a good way to start the day as we exploring Santa Barbara as a business please make sure to get your information updated timely and accurately.

My wife and I went for a dinner/wine tasting and had a great time! The food pairing with the wine was amazing and our server Jamie (I think that was his name) was so nice and explained everything so well! Would 100% go back and try the other food and wine pairings they had.

Such a great wine tasting experience! Innovative approach with excellent wines. Purchased some and we will be back for more. Whites and reds are equally great, and we enjoyed Jamie's insights.

Quality wine. Perfect compliment to Empty Bowl's Thai food. Will be back, seemed obvious that a lot of time and detail was put into their wine. Not the most space, but if we can grab a table, a glass of the Cab with a pizza from across the hall seems like a no brainer for our next visit.

Had a spectacular glass of Viognier here last night, perfect complement to Thai food from across the way. Looking forward to hanging out here with friends in future. What a great find!
