Vallmo restaurant

My friend and I had an incredible dinner here – the vegan tasting menu. I have had so much vegan food around the world that it’s becoming rare for me to find new, exciting flavours and cominations but here I got exactly that. Lovely service, great sparkling wine, beautiful restaurant. Thank you for an amazing evening.

This is probably one of the best meals I’ve ever had (if not the best), and that says a lot because me and my family are definitely food snobs. Every single sauce as mouth watering and all of the flavors and textures were perfect. I had absolutely no critiques on anything culinary. As for the service, everyone was very friendly and professional and helped us pick out the perfect wine. I have absolutely no complaints and would 100% recommended if you are okay splurging a bit for the night!! Great job to all of the staff, and thank you so much for an unforgettable experience!

We had a fantastic dinner experience at Vallmo. 5/5 We took the smallest tasting menu, with the accompanying wine menu. I asked for local wine, and had a “new” wine menu out together. Service was attentive, friendly but in a professional way. Interior was well put together, food was presented in an orderly fashion and wine likewise. From the complimentary snacks to the dessert every dish was prepared with finesse and thought on local produce and signature styles of cooking. We shared amongst ourselves, to taste a bit of everything and nothing disappointed. Sauces were well balanced and perfectly mounted, every bite and dish had all aspects of sweetness, sourness, umami, salt etc. huge recommendation.

Amazing experience- they deserve a Michelin star! Came here for a NYE prie-fix dinner and every course took me on a flavour journey. The staff were super friendly and truly loved what they do. Would come back here anytime I'm in Prague.

We had the 8 course menue. Every plate was a great composition of high quality and delicious ingredients. Some courses were vegetarian, but also with the bang. I liked the grass carp and the cauliflower the most, but the others no less. The wine selection was great and the service courteous. Recommendable.

Great food, great people, great service. Service was so good. Everyone here was so friendly and so hospitable. You could just tell everyone cared about making it a great experience. The server, manager and somm all took care of us and they were just incredible, Food was delicious. Everyone was in season and portions were perfect. Seasoning was awesome and everything paired together so well. Wine was better than perfect. Somm knew exactly what he was doing and loved Czech wines which was great. I’d never had any but they were all so tasty. What really makes the difference here is passion and hospitality. It was like being at a very good friend’s home who was trying to impress you. Was just such a nice evening.

I had dinner at Vallmo on the last night of a conference in Prague, and I certainly saved the best for last. This outstanding restaurant deserves a Michelin star. Each dish uses local ingredients, injected with some French cuisine techniques, while still preserving many elements of the original Czech flavors and styles. My favorites were the artichoke as well as the lamb neck, which melted in your mouth. This relatively small restaurant of ~10 tables had a friendly, almost home-like atmosphere. Our experience was further elevated by an extremely attentive and engaging staff that held long conversations with us about Prague, travel, and life. My friends and I closed down the restaurant, enjoying after dinner drinks with the crew. This was one of the best dining experiences I have had, and I hope this restaurant and its team receive many more accolades to come.

5 without any doubts. We travely a lot (sometimes too much) and visiting recommended places in different countries. Vallmo is refreshing constantly rising star of the local scene. Intense, genuine and creative, consistent and with great team which highly exceeds Prague levels. Looking forward to the next visit.
