After arriving to Boston airport I started searching for places to eat locally and found this lovely place. It took about 20 minutes to travel too. Located near the beach front, parking is on the street or in the small parking lot next door. The ambiance was very welcoming and service was excellent. Food was delicious, well presented along with wonderful flavors in each dish of food. Wish we could have tried more here. Would highly recommend trying this place and if ever in this area again will be back.

Such a fun place. Food was absolutely delicious! Wish we remembered to take a photo of the tapas. The prosciutto was our favorite. Staff was also friendly.

Wow!!! We came here on vacation and to Watch a Red Socks game. Came to the beach and fell in here. And oh my oh my!! I had the blackened salmon! And it is so past praise worthy! I bow to the chef! Thank you for opening my eyes to delicious!

Went with a friend. We each got a $16 drink and a tapas each to share ($17 each) the tapas were so small that we left hungry! 3 one inch scallops on a little bit of spinach was one… octopus, shrimp mixed seafood was the other. Both arrived cold (supposed to be hot) We know our octopus and there was none. Maybe 2 shrimp were involved cut in half and a few calamari rings. The food was delicious but each tapas would leave a toddler hungry and both of us are small women with small appetites. $70 + bill. and left hungry. Disgraceful!! 200% profit. Not going back it’s a huge rip off.

This place has a great atmosphere. The lady working the bar what's extremely nice and the barbecue pork belly melts in your mouth. The liquor choices were a little towards the high end but still paid under $100 including tip 43 people to have a quick lunch

Salome and Isabel were absolutely amazing the food is phenomenal, I highly recommend stopping in for the pork belly.

Valsos is a hidden gem. I went there on October 11, 2020 after a disappointing trip to Salem. (Salem, MA in October is NOT recommended - WAY too busy.) Anyway, I feel like if I didn't look up restaurants somewhat close, I would have missed this place completely. The atmosphere was amazing, the music was great, and the drinks were PHENOMENAL. Not to mention, it is 3 minutes away from Revere Beach. I highly recommend the pork belly tapas. Our apps, drinks, and main courses were perfect! Presentation was beautiful. The service was great! Going to this restaurant was the sunshine to an otherwise disappointing day. I will definitely be back, and it is WORTH the visit!

Tasty pork belly for late nite eats. Close to the Revere Beach T station. Inside is dimly lit ambiance, perfect for a date night or solo quick bite. The affogato was delicious as well. Bartenders were attentive and helpful.

The food is great every time! Service was good each time, and typically always sit at the bar. I'd def go again.

Made our last minute reservation at this restaurant on Valentine's Day with my boyfriend. The food, drinks, vibe, ambiance, everything was so great. No wonder the restaurant was busy the entire time we were there. I still think about how good the dessert tasted. We ordered the White chocolate Pudding to finish off our dinner, safe to say that the was dessert I've ever had!

Very impressed with the food options. The white sangria was great. Everything seemed reasonably priced. It's pretty new it seemed. The only thing is that we had a reservation on open table & they do hand written reservations, so I'd just call in advance instead. They didn't have a seat ready for us, but when not enough people came in we were seated quickly. Outdoor seating, seems new and fresh vibes in terms of ambiance. Up and coming restaurants in the area near the beaches. Seeing lots of investment properties after they've cleaned up the beach a bit more

It's no surprise this place would be packed to the gills on a warm summer's night. Enjoy America's First Vegetable Tower on your way to America's First Beach. Thank goodness for map apps because this place is tucked away like a joey in a pouch. Once arrived, better hope you beat all the other world travelers in line. And if there aren't open tables, head to the bar for just as friendly service as the four-tops. Those craft beer people will be happy to know of the four or so locals on tap. For me it was a blood orange wheat. Imagine...wheat...and blood orange. How could you say no. For those fru-fru types, go for one of several mojito varieties. Two words: fresh mint. Maybe they pipe it in from mint-ville, but there was a giant bunch placed into water while I was saddled up to the bar. It's your non-negotiable "secret ingredient" for passion, coconut, or the ever-popular "classic". Or get even wilder with the Arví Arví or Rustic Lover (somebody's nickname in high school). I'll be back over at the draught section. Don't worry, I'm not skipping over that Vegetable Tower; it was the main reason for my unforgettable night. You might have this image of a Tupperware with raw cauliflower and ranch dip, or multi-layers of dried carrots and broccoli. No no no. Zucchini, eggplant, squash, bell peppers, onions, and smoked gouda--all grilled and placed on some special ricotta mixture. You'll only think I'm spending too much time describing it until you try it. A fun vibe with (I guess) latin dance music kept me feeling like I was on the cool kid list, and friendly service accompanied the tasty food. I'll break out the gps again for the return trip as soon as possible.

Stopped in for dinner on 4th of July. Very nicely decorated interior, good spot for a casual date. The food was good and prepared as we had requested. Drinks were well made and they didn't skimp on the pour. My only complaint was that it took a very long time for someone to bring us the check. Waiting for the check was almost half the time we spent in the restaurant and they didn't have a lot of tables full. I'd go again but I'll be asking for the check as soon as the main course hits the table, I don't like to sit and chat after my meal.

What an amazing meal. The bartender was also our waiter. He was amazing. Attentive despite being very busy. We made a reservation on Saturday for 530. but didn't need one. We were seated immediately and told to sit snywhere as only 2 other parties were in there. Started with 2 apps. OmG. The arepa mixta. And spanish pulpo. Both with unique flavors. The grilled octopus was so tender and flavorful. Shrimp big and juicy. Dinner we had the salmon marinero and frutti de mare. I have never had anything so delicious. The salmon was cooked perfectly. The seafood as well. I cant say enough. This is a place that is worth the trip. You don't know what u are missing.

Coconut margarita is delicious. Love the pizza and the salmon. Wings are flavorful. Apps are delicious especially the veggie tower. Any they are open later! Dine in or delivery

We were in the area and thought Valsos looked like a cool spot for drinks and food, and it was. Sat at the bar and asked them to turn off Miss Universe for football haha. Really interesting drink menu and mine with gin and basil was great. Friend liked his wackier combos but $14.50 drinks and $12.50 glasses of wine seem high. We split three bites of octopus on a little cake, duck on a tostone type thing and a fried mixed plate of calamari haddock and peppers. All done well. It was more crowded at 9:45 than 7:45 when we got there. $59 each with two drinks pre tip. Would go back but gotta try the Cambodian place across the street first.

Mediocre and slow service, Drinks okay and some dishes are ok but some food came with hair in it. don't recommend.

Valsos is incredible. I would never have found this place if it wasn't for a suggestion from a friend who lived in the area. What a hidden gem! The restaurant itself is super small, accommodating only 4-5 parties at a time, but they do have quite a bit of space at the bar, which is where we sat. Our bartender was incredible. She suggested a few drinks that were all delicious and checked in on us just often enough. She seemed to be the only bartender/server in the restaurant, so she was busy but efficient and friendly. All of the drinks were delicious and the food was even more impressive. the octopus appetizer was one of our favorites, but it's seriously hard to choose. It's hard to perfect octopus and they have done it. The Yucca Gnocchi was also insanely good. I would get both as apps again. The burger was one of the best I've had. My only mistake was ordering both the yucca gnocchis and the scallop entree because their flavors are almost identical. Both delicious though.

It's been a while since I've been here but I'm so grateful this place is still amazing! I've never had a disappointing experience here which is abnormal since the pandemic. Service is great, food is delicious and drinks are divine! Still highly recommended!

Great place... is super busy so give them time so don't go there too hungry.... Enjoy...

I'm so glad to have you here in Revere Beach! You are making our neighborhood better! Between Covid and having a baby, I did not get here as quickly as I had hoped but I finally did! Okay, recommendation #1 is their own Valsos Margarita. It was one of the most refreshing ones I've ever had. Sometimes this drink can be unbalanced and tasted bottled but every flavor was fresh and the lime made a huge difference. Delish! Recommendation #2 - their food. We ordered the fried zucchini, the wings, and the paella. Now, the zucchini and wings were out of this world. I would get those again in a heartbeat. The paella, although also really good and LOADED with seafood, could've used a little more kick. There was nothing wrong with it, I just prefer it a tad more spicy. I cannot wait to try the churrasco though. In fact, I can't wait to try about 10 more things. The place is really cute and has a nice tribute wall to Revere Beach. The service was fantastic and friendly. I echo my first statement and say I'm so glad you are here and I cannot wait to come back.

Delicious tapas. I liked the atmosphere and vibe and the food. Quiet enough to have a conversation. A little off the beaten path but great for small parties and intimate gatherings. Again. Good food and I would recommend.

I had the worst dining experience of my life at Valsos . I have been tothe restaurant many times, and my boyfriend, friends, and I usually have a good time. However, on May 14th, my boyfriend and I went in the evening, and waited 30 min for two cocktails, plus an additional 45 min for one burger. We understand it was crowded, but we were also overcharged for the burger because of an unpublished policy where food is more expensive after 11. The food was ordered well before 11!Also, a 20% tip was automatically added to the bill without our authorization. While I usually tip 20%, this time, the service provided was significantly subpar. When we spoke with the Manager, Alex, he ripped up and threw the bill at us, said he would cancel the tip, and that he never wanted to see us again. We left with a sour taste in our mouths, but it didn't end there. On our way out, Alex ran after us, claiming to call the police because, "we did not pay." We did pay the bill, and he did not process the cancellation of the tip. The charged showed on my car, but he still threatened to call the police. I have never had such an uncomfortable and demeaning experience, and we hope no one else experiences this. Alex was rude, aggressive, and confrontational, and not only provided terrible service but degraded and insulted us. We will never come back to Valsos again. Alex made sure to we felt unwelcome and unsafe .

What a little diamond in the rough! I'm so glad I finally found this place. My wife and I sat at the bar and were served by a super friendly young lady who expertly guided us through our decisions. We had the Yuca Gnocchi, Vegetable Tower, Shrimp Grand Marnier, Charred Wings and a special salad for Valentines Day. Everything was delicious but the real treasures were the Gnocchi and the Veggie Tower. So unique and so scrumptious. This place knocks it out of the park in every category. It's chic, it's cozy, the food is great, the service is great. The drinks are great and the prices are reasonable. I can't wait to try about a dozen other things on the menu!

My parents go here every week and have been saying I needed to try so that's what we did today and oh my goodness I CANT WAIT TO GO BACK !! what a gem in revere , I had la diabla margarita, SPICY GOODNESS !!! the toston was packed with flavor and the baked haddock was just cooked to perfection , it came with potatoes , carrots and asparagus. I need to try everything on the menu. The service was amazing , I left feeling like part of the Valso family !

It was a great experience to us. We had 6 tapas ad 4 different types of drinks. Everything were delicious and fresh made. There is a beautiful decoration. Waitress is so kind and attentive. All spaces are cleaning and organized.

I found this place on yelp and I'm so glad I did! There is both outdoor and indoor seating. The food is a mix of Latin, Italian, and American. I ordered the fettuccine and salmon. It is a seasonal dish so it is not on the menu unless you ask for it. The salmon was so yummy and practically melted in my mouth. The mini empanadas were cute and very delicious. I also ordered the wings and got buffalo and barbecue on the side. Everything was so fresh and cooked to perfection. The white sangria also had the perfect amount of alcohol for a sangria and came with yummy fresh fruit. Management was walking around checking in on tables so we felt well taken care of. I will most definitely be returning!

My girlfriend and I went for the first time last night. We'lol definitely be back. The food was amazing -- especially the scallops -- and a bonus was the Bent Water On draft! One of the owners, Al, came over and introduced himself. Both he and our bartender were so nice and made us feel welcome. Can't wait to go again and continue exploring the menu!

It's only been opened for a couple of months and I happened to find it by chance. Drove by it and its nice internal decor caught my eye. Pulled into the adjacent parking lot and walked in. The atmosphere and vibe gave me a good feeling that the food would be prepared as delicately as the owners had taken to do the decor. I wasn't disappointed. All great tasty dishes and large portions (too despite labeling them as tapas). Great choice of drinks with a full bar. Excellent bartender and service.. even met the owners and had a pleasant conversation. I will need to return to check out the other dishes. Tip for the owners: add more desserts to the menu. Enjoy

Alright, this place is a new Revere gem. Been living here for four years and honestly have not found a million restaurants I love. UNTIL NOW. We started with the zucchini fritters (pictured). So crisp, so well seasoned, and very nice dipping sauce. Also, presentation was pretty. I ordered the burger (unreal- so good). I have to say, I ate it with a fork because there was a lot of sauce, but the flavors were incredible. There's an avocado cream sauce on there that was just crazy. My husband ordered the salmon- it was well prepared. Came with a very delicious corn cake on the side as well. For dessert, we tried something called squash pudding. Was very gingery/cinnamon, with vanilla ice cream. YUM. Overall, I was so impressed. What a lovely addition to the neighborhood. So happy to be walkable from here because we'll be back!

Food here was amazing. The gnocchi was on par and the arepa flavors were great. The arepa itself was a bit on the hard side. Service was very slow and we were told there were booked and we had to sit at the bar, even though there were multiple tables available and Yelp showed available reservations every 15 minutes.

My partner and I were looking for some place new for dinner and we found this incredible restaurant that just opened up in October 2019. I can't believe more people don't know about it yet!! The restaurant is beautiful inside; quiet, soft lighting, and intimate. The service was also quick and pleasant, with just the right number of check-ins throughout dinner. And of course, the food! We got a series of tapas dishes and they all checked out. It was a cool mix of different flavors that blended quite well. My personal favorite was the coccoli prosciutto but everything was amazing. This is definitely a great addition to Revere and I can't wait to come back!

They offer fantastic food and drinks at this local hidden gem. It's still in walking distance of the t but further away from the beach. I particularly like their famous bolognese which is the best I've had in a while. From the baked haddock to the shrimp marnier, I can't say I've been disappointed with anything here. The spicy margarita is top notch as well.

Very very good food rather reasonably priced for what it is. Seared Scalloops were on a plate of some magical bed of food. The Yuca Gnocci was incredible, had a wonderful creamy buttery taste. The Buffalo wings had a fantastic smoked flavor as if they were in a smoker all day. Really amazing food those 3. I also got the octopus which was recommended as most popular but it was nowhere near as good as the others. The fried seafood appetizer also was not my favorite, but overall wonderful.

The food and drinks were amazing. Everything we ate was fantastic. I can't give it five stars only because when we arrived for some reason our reservation wasn't showing even though I had the reservation confirmation e-mail. They kept us waiting for a bit as they tried to figure out the details of our reservation. It was Mother's Day and pretty busy so I'm sure that's why we had to wait. Otherwise, awesome food, drinks, and service!

Paella!!! Yes, that's right! Never imagined finding a Michelin worthy restaurant nestled away from the touristy part of Revere beach. Make this place your definitive stop and enjoy tapas and drinks indoors or outside in their pleasantly decorated side patio.

Excellent all the way around. Great food, friendly hostess and server, nice atmosphere including great lighting. (We are lighting snobs) Martini price point high, esp for being on the small size, but nice glass and big olives. And let's face it, these restaurants have to make up the Covid situation somewhere. Will go back soon.

Valsos is a romantic hole in the wall restaurant with superb, unique food and drinks. The service is leisurely, so that you are able to enjoy all of your courses and socialize with your company. I'll be coming back just for the food alone!

Delicious upon delicious upon delicious. My sister and I live in the neighborhood and had had take out from here before. We decided to change it up and just enjoy a nice dinner date at the location. I ALMOST LICKED MY PLATES the food was so good! This is a cute little gem in a very homie, small business filled street near Revere Beach. It is for sure one of our favorites if not the favorite in this area. Service was also great. The bar gets packed because the drinks are BOMBTASTIC so you may need to wait for your drinks a little while, every bit worth it though.

Love the tapas at this place! Good option. Great food. Perfect date place. My only critique is that sometimes the waiters aren't that attentive, but they are very kind!
