Here’s a warm and thoughtful review you can post for Van Leeuwen Ice Cream – Atlanta: Praline and I stopped by the new Van Leeuwen Ice Cream location in Atlanta, and I couldn’t be more excited they’ve finally made it here! I’ve been a fan since visiting their Philly shops, and their vegan options are hands down the BEST I’ve ever had—rich, creamy, and so satisfying. Not only was the ice cream amazing (I got one of their vegan cookies and cream with caramel swirl) but the team was incredibly kind and even gave Praline a pup cup, which totally made her day. As a dog walking business owner, I’m always on the lookout for dog-friendly spots in Atlanta, and Van Leeuwen just made the list. I’m already thinking about writing a blog on the best ice cream shops to visit with your dog, and this one will definitely be featured. If you’re in the area and want a treat for both you and your pup—this is the place. We’ll definitely be back!

The flavors here are amazing!! Customer service was top tier as well. can’t wait to come back for the passion fruit sorbet and fall flavors!! Thank you Courtney for a great first time experience.

This was my first time in and This was definitely one of the best experiences. All of the flavors we tested are FANTASTIC. If you’re looking for a new ice cream place this is definitely where you want to visit. Maybe try the brown sugar cookie dough brownie ice cream while you’re there.

Fun new ice cream shop! There are a lot of creative flavors as well as some traditional ones for picky eaters. The prices are a bit more than Jeni's coming in at $7 for a single scoop in a cup. There are a lot of vegan options. The employee who helped me was super kinda and let me try all the samples I wanted. Will be returning!

Van Leeuwen ice cream has finally made its way to the south! It is literally the best ice cream out and I have been missing it since I moved from the northeast. Brown Sugar Cookie Dough Brownie is my all-time favorite ice cream flavor and I’m glad to be able to enjoy it once again! The workers were very helpful and sweet! I will be back for sure.

Great ice cream and kind staff. Can take a bit of time depending on the line, so budget for that! Strawberry and Mint Chip were great. Fun seasonal flavors. Lots of vegan flavors.

Third time coming here and everyone has been super nice and helpful! They encourage you to try as many flavors as you want! I got the praline butter cake with salted caramel topping, whipped cream, and almonds! So delicious!!

I've been here two separate occasions and both times were so enjoyable ! I really love this brand - it made me believe that there's a way to have creamy delicious vegan ice cream and not compromise texture - Jenny I'm taking about you ahem! I've been going to van Leeuwen since I lived in NY and I'm so happy we have a location in Atlanta. The vegan flavored are so good, the staff here is kind and they do not rush you with choosing a flavor. Now- those plastic spoons - guys I literally cut the sides of my mouth using them. The spoons are deep and a bit sharp (I know it's a round edge but pls.) be careful if you decide to get a cup, but hopefully they've since gotten better spoons. This won't change my over all experience though, and I'm still coming back for more!

Stopped in to try this cute new ice cream shop based out of New York, and I think they check all the boxes for what makes a good ice cream shop (variety of unique flavors, vegan options, milkshakes, sundaes, and toppings). However, the shop wasn't the only thing they brought down south, they definitely came with New York prices too lol. Pricing: While they have a variety of really unique flavors, the pricing is slightly higher than what you'd expect at a comparable ice cream spot. Plan to spend around $8-$10+ depending on your scoop count (1, 2, or 3 scoops), plus $1.25-$2 per topping. Also note: they're cashless and only accept contactless payments. Food: There were so many flavors that I honestly struggled to choose. I ended up with Mango Sticky Rice and Honeycomb. Both were good and creamy, but a little too sweet together. I sampled the Passionfruit Sorbet too, which was super tart, but in the best way. I actually wish I wouldn't went with that one, and think it would've balanced out the mango perfectly. Inside: The shop is super cute, bright, fun, and inviting with a retro-modern feel. There's a row of bar seating and one group table inside. Heads up to all my 30+ folks: the bar stools have zero back support, so don't get too comfortable lol. Outside seating is available as well, and since it's located in Ponce City Market, you can also take your ice cream to their indoor seating areas. Service: Service was great. The staff was friendly, encouraged us to try any flavors we wanted, and gave thoughtful suggestions/opinions on several of the flavors we were interested in.

We have had their ice cream from the grocery store and was excited for a brick and mortar location. The space is brand new and very welcoming with bright colors, off to the side of Ponce City Market (not inside). We got there and there were only a few people there. We sampled our hearts out with their metal spoons and landed on the brown sugar cookie dough brownie with the dark chocolate curls. After getting our ice cream, there was then a huge line! We beat the rush. We had our choice of the indoor bar seating along the window, the few tables inside, or the tables outside. We went to the bar so we could look out and people watch, but there wasn't much. They also sell their pints here that are the same as in the grocery store, but way marked up.

We have enjoyed pints of Van Leeuwen ice cream from our local grocery store for a while now. We were excited when we saw that a physical location opened and we could taste some other flavors. We'd come to PCM for dinner one weekday evening, and my husband decided he wanted some ice cream for dessert. There were only two young ladies inside when we walked in, which was nice. The young lady working behind the counter let us know she'd be right with us, so we had a few minutes to take a look at the options. It's so cute in here. All the bright colors are just what you'd expect in an ice cream shop but a change from most places. I didn't really want any ice cream, but the employee was more than happy to let me taste the pumpkin cheesecake, which was delicious, and another flavor that I can't recall right now. She also mentioned that she thought the pumpkin cheesecake would be great in a milkshake. Once my husband had his order, we found a spot outside for him to enjoy. He ordered a scoop of peanut butter brownie honeycomb with a scoop of cookies & cream. I tasted his peanut butter brownie honeycomb, and it's a must if you're a fan of PB and chocolate! We'll be back to try out more flavors soon.

I've been here a few times and service is always good! If you go once Ponce is closed you can park on the side for free which is awesome! They have unique flavors and some seasonal too! For example in October they had some pumpkin themed ones! There's an outside seating area you can relax and enjoy your ice cream too!

So happy this spot is open in Atlanta now! We stopped in late on a Saturday night, around 9:30pm. There was no wait! I love all their unique flavors to pick from. They also have some fun toppings! I got the hazelnut and the cookies and cream, topped with pistachio butter! Quality ice cream! It's a bit pricey, but worth the splurge every now and then

Van Leeuwen is always my favorite ice cream brand so when I'm near one I have to go! The workers let me sample several flavors and were very patient while I decided on my order. I went with the gooey butter cake flavor with chocolate hazelnut sauce, and that sauce was so good! I expected it to be like Nutella, but it had chunks of hazelnuts in it and was a more fudge-like texture. The inside is very clean, cute, and has some seating as well.

--Shout Out-- Shout out to Allie and Emily for interacting with us waiting in the hot and humid outdoors --Location/Parking-- In the new building of Ponce City Market, located across from West Elm. Parking is in the same vicinity as Ponce City Market. --Ambience-- Similar to an ice cream bar with seating for maybe 10 indoors. There is an outdoor patio that is shared with several buildings. --Service/Staff-- Allie was awesome in talking and interacting with us waiting outside. Everyone was fast and efficient in getting through the long line. It is ice cream season. --Products-- Delicious mouth watering soft ice cream. I believe this is a chain, but could be the first in Georgia. I feel like I am cheating on Jeni, but this was absolutely worth it. Cookie and Creams was my choice. It was so perfect for such a hot morning. --Capacity-- This is more of a boutique. Because of the elaborate display. I don't recommend more than 5 people inside the store and for the tour. --Overall-- One of my new go to spots for ice cream. I didn't know this area of Ponce City Market existed, but I will trek out this way for ice cream. Thank you Allie for being such a courteous host!

I had visited a location in New York and was really excited to see one opened in atlanta! This is in Ponce city market but a building next door to it while still being in "property" so you will need to find parking at the market. Upon entering you are greeted by a really Colorful shop with a really friendly staff. They were patient and willing to let us sample flavors. I sampled pistachio and ice cream cake and it was so good I decided to get two scoops of it! The staff were really friendly and the whole aesthetic of the shop was so colorful and cute. It was super delicious! Such a nice experience, such rich yummy flavors and overall loved it! Can't wait to be back!

I've been to Van Leeuwen in another location but I already know how good this ice cream hits! No exception here, the staff is super nice, it's clean and easy to understand and the ice cream is yummy. I tasted a cinnamon roll flavor and the pumpkin cheesecake one and ended up with the latter.

Came for ice cream after seeing this place open up at ponce ! I enjoy their pint ice creams and wanted to check this place out. The service was not as friendly as I hoped for, they didn't seem very friendly when we were asking to sample an ice cream flavor and we had to look around and ask someone. The cherry flavor was good but the vegan cookies and cream ice cream was okay. Also, that was the only amount of vegan ice cream we got. There was no more to the vegan cookies and cream scoop. It was definitely overpriced for the amount we got.

This new spot just opened up at PCM and it is perfect! Not only is this the best ice cream I've ever had, but the spot is perfect and so convenient. If you ever are at Ponce City and crave a dessert, you should head over here!! Ps definitely try all the flavors! They have some great ones! And the waffle cones are amazinggg

Van Leeuwen is amazing! It's my favorite ice creams shop and I'm so happy that they opened one in Atlanta! Every time I head to New York, I always stop for my favorite flavor (Earl Grey Tea). I'm happy to see I don't have to travel too far now that they're in ATL! For their grand opening, they served $1 scoops and greeted everyone with a smile and positive energy! I had the opportunity to meet Ben, one of the founders, and he was such a delight! You really can't go wrong with any flavor, so I recommend trying a few before making your choice. I look forward to visiting again soon! The flavors are delicious and unique. The storefront is always bright and inviting and, most of all, ice cream is good for the soul! I'm looking forward to the opening of their Dunwoody location later this year. As they say, "A life without anything good is bad." Happy Eating!!

We made the 1.5-mile late-night trek here after a concert at the Fox Theatre, and I would absolutely do it again! I've been wanting to go to a Van Leeuwen ice cream shop for quite some time now, and they surpassed my expectations. The workers were so nice and patient as I requested sample after sample. The inside was colorful and clean, and the ice cream menu was very big. I ordered a scoop of the Marionberry Cheesecake and the Peanut Butter Brownie Honeycomb in a waffle cone. While it's a bit pricey, I'd say it's worth it. The ice cream is high quality, and they don't skimp on the scoop sizes. I'll be back next time I'm in Atlanta.

I've had their ice cream before in pints from the grocery store, but this was my first time visiting a brick and mortar location. Tasty flavors with friendly service and a clean and playful esthetic--what's not to love?

Over $10 for one scoop of ice cream( pb brownie honey comb) ,a drizzle of chocolate sauce and whipped cream. Dont get me wrong it was good. However at that price,should be 2 scoops. I think you could go down the street and get a better deal at BR's or even DQ,and have just as good. Dont get me wrong. I understand things nowadays are high. I just think their price is RIDICULIOUS!!!! But if that dont bother u,give them a try. The service was great, is quick and friendly. The inside was modern and hip.

I tried this for the first time the other day and was disappointed. I sampled a couple of flavors. Ended up getting 1 scoop of mango sticky rice and it was almost $8! So many flavor options but way too overpriced. There are better ice cream options for cheaper around.

I love VL ice cream especially their earl grey flavor. Strong tea flavor and very creamy and smooth. This store is very new and is located at ponce city and they have a huge variety of flavors to choose from. Today I got the mango sticky rice and the brown sugar brownie flavors. Both flavors are delicious and really you can't go wrong with any of the choices. Would come again.

This place is amazing. They carry nondairy options and sorbets. Absolutely delicious. Anything with Honeycomb is bomb and a must try. Ambiance: love this location in Ponce city market. Great place to eat and has indoor and outdoor seating. Service: everyone is so kind. Helps that you have endless samples to find the flavor right for you.

Service is very friendly and the ice cream flavors are so good!! The honeycomb was my fave and is said to be one of the more popular flavors!

My boyfriend kept recommending this place as it's his go to in NYC. I usually don't like pistachio but they have a good one here. I enjoyed it.
