Interesting that they flagged my review for removal. Why? I violated no community guidelines.
Here it is again. If I'm flagged again, I will file a formal complaint that they don't accept legal tender:
"I place my order for a two scoop treat.
The woman hands me the ice cream cone, charges me an astronomically high price of $9 (which, you know, is fine, because the prices are posted), and as I take my first bite, I hand her a $20 and she stares at me as if I've just grown a third eye. "We don't take cash," she says, making no note of this "policy" being not posted anywhere, and instead swings the tablet with tip already factored in. I look at her, there's cash in the tip jar--OF COURSE--and I hand the ice cream cone back to her. I don't think this legal, and cash is all i have. "Bye." She looks at me, dumbfounded, as if I've now grown a fourth eye.
To not accept cash--especially when it's not posted anywhere--is racist and classist (as if their prices alone aren't). California thrives on an underground economy where a lot of people--shhh, they're not here legally--help us all live better lives. Many of "those" people don't have credit cards or debit cards or Apple Pay (often out of fear alone). So to hell with you, Van Leeuwenho, you are racist, classist, and overpriced."
