"While Vanessa Bruno has more of a global presence these days, for many, a trip to the Paris flagship used to justify a flight to France. That’s because Vanessa Bruno offers a very specific spin on romantic-yet-modern clothing: Here, you’ll find delicate silk rompers arranged next to chunky lace tops and butterfly-patterned pants. It’s always pretty, but never, ever twee. There are also two other locations, one in the 6th and one in the 3rd."

A fuir !! La qualité des sacs et le SAV est inacceptable ! Après 3 semaines mon sac c’est cassé et le SAV lis mes messages et ne me répond pas depuis plus d’un mois !!!

Yelp
The selection, atmosphere was fantastic!! During the holiday season, the decorations and lighting are phenomenal.

Yelp
Great shopping, fun "patisserie" in the kids department- selling jelly cat stuffies. The restaurant upstairs was delightful with a great view of the Eiffel Tower!

Yelp
Way too crowded with people. If you are claustrophobic, the amount of people in there is terrifying. So many tourists. This was mid November when I was there. Wanted to buy souvenir and gift here but couldn't even do so because it was so busy. Salespeople were occupied and difficult to get a hold of. If you want to shop, I'd avoid this area. There's alot more LVs and Cartiers in other parts of town where the staff can be more attentive.

Yelp
Views from the top are worth the crowd here. During the Christmas season they have a beautiful tree in the middle. You can schedule a time to go on the walk way to get photos. However if you walk around you can find some other areas that offer nice angles of the tree.

Yelp
What a great beautiful mall. Shopping is divided one side of the mall is Men's and the other side is Women's. A simple but great idea making finding things a lot easier. The floors are also divided by style of clothing and brands. My girlfriend found a nice cashmere sweater and purchased a nice watch. Be sure to bring your passport so you can take advantage of the 12% VAT tax back.

Yelp
Mink and I needed to do some shopping and she highly recommended shopping at Galeries Lafayette Haussmann. She mentioned this mall has been open a long time and we noticed some signage that they have been open 130 years! The place looks amazing for its age. There are signs of wear and tear but one should expect that from such an established and busy mall. One of the main attractions here is their iconic glass dome. It's a wonder to see in real life and there is even a glass walkway you can go on to get the best photos. Aside from checking out their glass dome, one can get their steps in for the day shopping. They house luxury brand stores and separate them by men and women (different buildings). Customer service was great at a couple of the stores we shopped at but some stores have outrageous lines with little to no customer service. One store had us in line for a long time then come to find out that we had to go to another building. Would have been great if the sales associate asked us what we're looking for like how she did with all the customers in front of us but what can you do? For most people, items here will be less than their home country and they get VAT back. If you're buying expensive items then it's totally worth enduring the lines and process to get some of your hard earned money back. It's time consuming though but it can be worth it. I believe someone mentioned 12%? That's a decent chunk of change for larger ticket items. Please make sure to have your physical Passport available for the VAT. Glad we got to check out this longstanding mall in Paris and do some shopping there.
google avatar

Mei T.

Yelp
Shoppers with deep pockets need to come here! There are high end luxury brand names at every corner. The lines were extremely long, especially the Louis Vuitton store. This multi-story building department store is massive and very glamorous!

Yelp
If you are into shopping. or fashion history, please just add this to your Paris bucket list. There truly isn't anything else like it, it is so so beautiful. Not so much that you will find unique or excluding pieces that can't be found elsewhere, but just the space has to be seen at least once. There is now a clear walkway to get a photo at th top with the dome, however we did not do that as there was quite a lengthy line (It may be a paid item as well but I can't conform that). The additional of the champaign bar on the ground floor was also very cute and I would absolutely do that in the future. This place holds a special place in my hart as my mother actually headed the 1980s restoration and renovation of the ground floor. So it is very special to me to be there. It is also where I made my first designer bag purchase in my life with her on my first trip to Paris years ago with her.

Yelp
I really enjoyed visiting this mall. It's a must visit while in Paris. Loved that it was decorated for Christmas at the beginning of November when I visited. I will be returning when I am ever back in Paris. You name the brand it's there.
google avatar

Yelp
If you are visiting the Galeries Lafayette Haussmann location I highly recommend making time for The Glasswalk. We went and stumbled upon it. The line wasn't too long, but we learned it would be faster and guaranteed if you have a reservation. It is completely free and you can reserve a time slot online! Views are amazing and you get about five minutes which is plenty time for viewing and photos. Our group was all super courteous and helped take photos of each other's party so it wasn't all just selfies! Definitely worth it to make time for this hidden gem while shopping! It's located in the main building (womens).
google avatar

Yelp
This a cute mall with gifts to buy to bring back home!! We found everything here!! And you can do your paperwork for the tax-free so it's very worth it!! Excellent high quality services from all the staff. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I love this mall!! I'm not taking a pic of everything we bought but come in and see for yourselves, you will not be disappointed. I came here each time we visited Paris.
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely overwhelming. So many people there. The shops are like kiosks not full stores (except for a few). There is definitely variety on all the different stories but it is so crazy to navigate. We left after an hour and only purchased from the food section. Now I will say, the food building is INCREDIBLE. lots of fun chocolate, tea, salts, and snacks. Definitely don't miss that. Do your actual shopping in other districts. The service wasn't amazing because there were so many people. The value wasn't great either. Everything is expensive.

Yelp
Beautiful shopping mall with many options to choose from. The aesthetic of this place is stunning and unique with stained glass ceilings. They have a rooftop with views of Paris. It was closed due to the winds and rain. Gets pretty busy there because of the locations, shopping and many tourists are visiting for the rooftop.
google avatar

Ashley J.

Yelp
We got pastries from Chez Meunier and checked out the giant croissants at Phillippee Contecini. The food hall had a lot of great options and is worth exploring if you are a tourist.

Yelp
Great service , amazing selection !! Brand name galore i just love this place and it's great to see the superb progress over the last 50 years ( yes , since i was a young boy living in Paris , i've been a regular here .. ) a TOP NOTCH store . a coffee shop and pastries in every section .. Truly the ultimate upscale retail store , all top clothing brands in one place .. Haussmann [ Indigo ] parking right below , elevator from the underground parking takes you straight to the shopping floors .. rooftop view of the Opera and parts of Paris is breathtaking .. love it . Highly recommend
google avatar

Li F.

Yelp
What a beautiful store! Welcome to Paris! The ceiling is breathtaking, along with the rooftop view. A must when in Paris. Special clothing items - some that are easy to find in the US but others that are not. That's the fun part. Enjoy!
google avatar

Carmen L.

Yelp
Very breathtaking mall inside and out with a roof top to overlook Paris as well. They have a good selections of stores and we got our shopping fixed here. It will be a whole day event shopping here to look through everything. They have a nice rooftop on 7 floor, remember to stop by. And they also have a bridge in the middle of the mall; it's a great location to take photos. You will need to reserve your time but it's free of charge; it's something to do after a great shopping day. They also have a separate building with food but if you went on Sunday, most of them closed at 7pm, so be aware of the time. If your purchases are qualified for VAT refund, remember to stop by 1st floor to get the paperwork done and take it ton the airport for your money back. And bathroom is at the 6 floor.

Yelp
In our second time in Paris, we finally visited this mall... beautiful architecture. Had the chance to go to the top floor in time for sunset and had the view of the Eiffel Tower. Definitely a must visit when in Paris.

Yelp
Galleries Lafayette is a super beautiful indoor shopping mall that is PERFECT to go do your shopping on a rainy day! Lots of high end stores here and multiple floors, depending on what items you're looking for. First floor is mostly all bags, as well as watches/jewelry. Other floors have clothes, more jewelry, and a rooftop view that we didn't get to see, since it was raining cats and dogs the day we visited. Service: All of the sales advisors were pretty kind and helpful for the most part. The only store that I had a slight issue with was the Louis Vuitton. We waited over an hour for an SA to help. We already had our mind made up before coming to the store of which bag we wanted to buy so all we really needed was someone to let us pay & give us a box for the bag lol. They also had many SAs available... there were people who walked in after us and those people were helped before us... Did not have this experience at Chanel, Celine, or Dior. I noticed that this isn't the only LV where the sales advisors act this way. It is unfortunately the pattern worldwide, I suppose. **NOTE: The selection for each of these stores is limited since they are in an indoor plaza, so more people visit & purchase... compared to their stand alone stores on Ave des Champs-Élysées & Montaigne. Not as much for inventory here overall.

Juan B.

Yelp
Beautiful mall with an amazing dome from the inside. There are plenty of boutiques inside also ranging from high end luxury brands to your regular casual brands. There's a sky walk on the top levels where you can stand on a suspended bridge but you have to queue and reserve a time slot. There's also a nice rooftop area where you can get great views of the opera house, the Eiffel tower and the rest of Paris.
google avatar

Mel T.

Yelp
What a shopping experience! Think of any luxury brand and you will probably find it here. Even if you're not there to buy anything, it's fun to just walk around and admire just how beautiful the architecture is. I feel like this department store is better than shopping on Champ Elysees. Everything is under one roof and plus, the salespeople at Galeries are less snooty. Also, apparently, there's a free fashion show every Friday at 3 pm (which you have to reserve) that I just found out about. I also happened to be there on a Friday too. Ah well. A must visit if you find yourself in Paris!
google avatar

Cristina L.

Yelp
I love coming here just for the free view of Paris. It's a very big mall which makes it a good place for shoppers. It got a lot of name brand items. There is a female and a male mall which I found out recently. I was wondering where all the male items where. The female mall only has 1 floor for the restroom while the male side has more floor for restroom. I'll definitely come back here every time I visit Paris because there's always new things to see and of course more SHOPPING.
google avatar

Thaovi T.

Yelp
The free glass walk at this mall is incredible!!! This is the most beautiful mall in the world. The design is so stunning. Super impressed. And the free terrace with views of Paris is spectacular! Definitely worth a visit! Tip- book the glass walk ahead of time online.
google avatar

Leanne M.

Yelp
Extremely nice high end store. It was amazing to walk through and see all the beautiful merchandise. The top has a terrace where the city can be viewed The jewel of this building is the ceiling. Magnificent, glorious just a view words that come to mind. We walked out into a viewing platform and looked up.
google avatar

Vinkin Ken T.

Yelp
The only bathrooms are located on the 6th floor. You can also go up to the rooftop for a view of the city. The elevators are supposedly meant for use by the disabled and elderly but is ignored. It takes a while for the elevators to come because there's so many people trying to go to the roof or to the glass walk on the 3rd floor. You will need to scan a QR code and reserve a 5 minute time slot for this short glass walk. The beauty of the dome cannot be captured on your phone camera, it is best seen in person.
google avatar

Michael G.

Yelp
Wow - just wow! We have a lot of these stores in Scottsdale AZ but the experience of being in this Galerie was amazing. Take the time and go to the top and you get the best view of Paris. Lots of places on each floor to eat and drink. Don't miss this!
google avatar

Neluta G.

Yelp
Shopping, shopping, shopping in Paris is the BEST. And where to shop is Galeries Lafayette. Love Paris shopping the newest things from great designers are sold in Paris first. What doesn't sell comes to the US. They had the winter sale as well which made the shopping experience fabulous. A MUST do in Paris!
google avatar

Kay H.

Yelp
There is every store you can think of with every designer. It's an extremely busy place, with some stores placing you on a waiting list to be called to come in, that or you can wait in line until they let you in. I understand this allows for service as well as I am sure deters theft, however I will say it is frustrating to wait to spend my money in their store. Some stores the employees were welcoming, some stores they were not, and some rushed us while purchasing luxury goods. I prefer a quieter experience to here. Also, look out for pick pocketers around here. Check out the middle dome while you are inside. It is pretty.
google avatar

Dolores D.

Yelp
Wow this is a huge mall! Came to go to the rooftop for the view. Wish there was more food options thou.
google avatar

Steven W.

Yelp
Saw this on instagram and had to check it out since I was in Paris during the holiday season. What a beautiful decorated shopping location. It is so grand and magnificent. The photos don't do it justice. Keep in mind Paris has multiple Galeries Lafayette. Haussmann is the one where it is at, with the beautiful designer shops and the great decoration, it is great for all ages!
google avatar

Dominic K.

Yelp
Really stunning mall with a huge selection of designer brands. You can find anything here except cheap items.
google avatar

Rpisces G.

Yelp
Love this place. Brands from all around the world. Looking for choices, this is the place, looking for luxury brands, this is the place. They also have restaurants and Duty Free (Tax free) for those of us traveling
google avatar

Tiffany F.

Yelp
This place is wild, and I would definitely recommend visiting just to see the architecture. It's expensive, but they do have some cool stuff, especially the gourmet food and used clothing sections. There is a viewing platform so you can get good selfies.
google avatar

Rosi A.

Yelp
I was shopping for a few things for friends and family and decided to stop by. Inside, this is probably one of the most festive-looking department stores, comparable to GUM in Moscow or Liberty London. The glass dome is gorgeous and worth a detour, but I would not spend time/money to get on the little observation deck (tourist trap lvl 100) as you can see it perfectly well as is. Check the observation deck on top of the building, as you get an unobstructed view of Opera Garnier, the Eiffel Tower, and several other landmarks. I'd skip the food court entirely as there is nothing appealing there, and the coffee is meh. As for the shopping itself, it is a good place if you want to have access to IRL versions of some of the French brands that are mostly available online (A.P.C., IRO, etc.). Other than that, going to mono-brand stores for an in-person experience might be more pleasant (e.g., a lot of the same brands are present in the 3rd arr.) as here you get only a subset of collections (real estate is pretty limited) complete with immense crowds.
google avatar

Marilu F.

Yelp
This wasn't on my itinerary but rather my companion's. He insisted I needed to shop there, much like my French pen pal (and friend) did. Honestly if you're like me who hates shopping, I ask you to step out of your comfort zone like I did. This mall is massive and stands at six or seven floors. I forget how many. The uppermost floor has an amazing view of good ol' Paris and they have food and drinks everywhere. Each floor, too, has a theme. One floor, for example, is for kids, another for women, etc. I wound up spending the majority of my time there looking at winter clothes and at lingerie, specifically bras. Now I will tell you this - the sizes there make no sense and you have to try the actual bras on. That said, with a bit of patience, we found two of the most form-fitting and sexy bras I've ever had in my life (because you know those were purchased, haha). If you can stand feeling overwhelmed and just in general pack some patience, I guarantee you that you won't regret visiting Galeries Lafayette. I would definitely go back and get more items there.
google avatar

Stephanie C.

Yelp
I walked into this store after my visit to the Gainer Museum. I was so surprised to see how large it is and all the luxury brands that they carry. The service that I received while shopping at Loewe and Celine was amazing and professional. They both knew their merchandise. As an American traveler, I am aware of purchasing luxury products here is a great value. They have on the second floor an area to help process our documents for customs. I will be back to shop! Photos of the holiday decorations, Great values and savings!

M B.

Yelp
Amazing selection of high end fashion and accessories for men and women all in one location.
google avatar

Vanessa L.

Yelp
You must come here if you love to shop and especially if you are looking for some high end items. There are over 3500 brands here! BRING YOUR PASSPORT so you can get your tax refund documents from the concierge for purchases over $100! There will be someone to assist and explain the process for you. Also, don't miss the rooftop for a photo op! You can see the Eiffel Tower from there.
google avatar

Lena M.

Yelp
What better place to be during the holiday season than Galeries Lafayette. The holiday Christmas tree is a sight to see and one you don't want to miss. Under the glass ceiling sits a gorgeous giant tree that matches the theme for the year. This year's theme was Planete Sapin. All along the window displays were mini humanoid fir trees. These trees were trying on all kinds of clothes and accessories you could buy at the mall. Although this wasn't my favorite theme I've seen here, it was still very pretty and fun to see the moving puppet trees. The giant tree can be found in the Women's mall. Galeries Lafayette has different buildings for different products (i.e. women, men, home goods). Although most of Paris' malls have creative displays during the holiday season, Galeries Lafayette is one of the best. If you have the chance to visit during Christmas time, be sure to stop by! Do note it is a high end mall, so things are a bit on the pricier side.
google avatar

Francine L.

Yelp
A shopping paradise but also a wonderful place to take photos on top of the roof! Yes, don't just come here for shopping you must get on top of that roof to see the views of Paris! Don't forget to do that when you come here. This place is very large and has another building across which is also a food section and a supermarket. So it is not just only clothes! But many people do shop here for the brands that they carry so if you are on the lookout for things to buy in France you should visit here first to look at what there is.
google avatar

Kimber V.

Yelp
I loved this mall. There are several floors full of premium shopping. A few of the designers are on multiple levels of the gallery. I definitely saw Louis Vuitton and Gucci on a couple of levels. The mall also has an extensive perfume section. The staff in the various perfume shops were well versed and knowledgeable. I would love to be able to spend an entire day here!
google avatar

Alexander H.

Yelp
Came here just after Christmas. The decorations and lights were still up. The main reason we came to this place. Of course you could do a lot of shopping here. Lots of brands, lots of choice. It's a massive mall. And an architectual masterpiece. Also a nice souvenir section on one of the top floors. But most folks show up for the roof terrace and its views. There's a long, a very long line for that. But we didn't come for that. At least not this time. We wanted to see the amazing Christmas tree in the Atrium. It's got an insane size. Wonderfully lit and a light show every few minutes. Beautiful. And there are enough spots all around the atrium to find a peaceful and quiet corner to enjoy it. The tree together with the dome is just a spectacular view and is not to be missed. You could spend a whole rainy day here shopping. But we headed across the street after enjoying the christmas decoration. Because there is the Lafayette food court and shops. And we did spend a lot time there, great food, great patisserie, great products. Don't miss out on that.

Yelp
[in French] "Kiss me on impulse! Surprise me!" - from the movie, Paris, Je t'aime Oh the French! Not exactly on my bucket list for a visit to Paris, however if you're into big-ticket Haute Couture... Galeries Lafayette Haussmann just might be your cup of Chassé. For this Frenchman, I'm quite content being frugal lol. Oui, oui! Bonjour! Okay, why did I find myself in a world-renowned Paris high-end gallery on several occasions? Well, it's really for two reasons! First, the panoramic views of historic Paris, and the second, the Cafeteria! Huh? Oui, oui! I loved dining at the Galeries Lafayette Haussmann 6th floor Cafeteria! It was never my first choice, but it's a good choice when you consider the diverse selection of food and the incredible views! It's basically self-serve, you pick what you want to eat, pick a drink, pick a dessert (if you want). Add-ons, like Madeline cookies or Baguettes, near the register. Pre-made Salads are available, small Sushi counter, and made-to-order Specials and Burgers. I ordered the Roasted Chicken, Potatoes, Sautéed Zucchini. I ordered the Cheese Burger and French Fries. Desserts I had include, Pineapple Dream & Pear Apple Pie (it's in French so not really sure what it's called in English lol). I'd rate all the food options around 4-stars. Good, but honestly not memorable. The drinks I ordered include, Belgium Purebred Blond (Beer) and Le bar à vin en Libre (Wine). The drinks were Euro friendly and decent. 4-stars too. If you're lucky enough to snag a window seat it'll be that much more special without paying up! If all the window seats are taken... just slow down and enjoy your meal! Later take a flight of stairs to the rooftop to see the best view of Paris! You're welcome! In the end, I recommend Galeries Lafayette Haussmann if you want the latest in Haute Couture or if you want to save on a decent lunch with a view! And who would have thought saving your Euros would be at one of the fanciest malls in all of Paris! Shhhh... It's our little secret. ;)

Yelp
Honestly, this place is amazing and let me tell you why. It has almost all of the big luxury brands that you can think of with all their classic bags in stock. Along with perfumes and clothing as well. Some of the stores here are (Faure Le Page, Goyard, Chanel, Celine, Kenzo, Acne Studios, Burberry, Dior, Rimowa, Ami, Prada, Fendi etc) It's a great one stop shop if you dont want to hunt down each individual one of these stores all over Paris. Another great thing is that if you are a foreigner, you can obtain your VAT tax free paper instantly. This is on the first floor (they have a section there where you bring all your receipts and obtain your VAT form) now.. you can either get your VAT refund instantly (in cash) or in your credit card here. Then, all you have to do is scan it at the airport and you instantly get your money back in your card. (3 days max I already got my refund and when I chose cash it gave me cash on the spot at the mall)
google avatar

Bitsy O.

Yelp
We stayed in the 1st arrondissement for a reason - walking distance from the hotel, designer fashion heaven (oh and the Louvre and stuff). Justification? Most French brands are cheaper in...France. Plus the VAT refund (more about that later). Try not to get distracted by the many restaurants. Also, macarons, champagne, and coffee everywhere. Bonus, EL&N cafe pinkness in all of its instagrammable glory. So many floors of paradise; Chanel, Dior, LV, Hermes, Celine, YSL, Givenchy, Fendi, Prada, McQueen (and Balenciaga which is definitely not getting the love it used to due to the most recent scandal)...I literally couldn't breathe...partly because it's hot AF in there for some reason. Long line for LV but as always the SAs were prepping for everyone. Honestly, when they didn't have my bag I was happy to move on to another option bc I felt a little basic. Plus as much of a Japanophile as I am, the whole Kusama collab isn't me and she literally took over the city. The SAs were all helpful, polite, and friendly. I don't put on heirs when I shop, Slayer shirt, yoga pants, messy bun. No one seemed too bothered about anything but my furry boots meant for the frozen tundra and I got some "calm down it's not that cold" eyes. Surprisingly, there is a floor of pre-loved items. No great deals though. When the shopping was done we followed the signs to the VAT office where you scan receipts and passports and it prints everything out to take to the office at the airport and then the tax refund should be credited in a few weeks. There are people to help you with the process and make sure you don't miss any steps. Oh, even though it was post New Year they still had all of the Christmas decor and window vignettes up, so worth taking the time to soak up all the holiday cheer. See you again soon shopping...I mean Paris :)

Susannah K.

Yelp
Beautiful shop with amazing brands and Christmas decorations. Our daughter loved this place in all of Paris. After walking up and down the many floors, we rested at the restaurant that bears the same name. The seats near the tall glass windows are first to be taken as they show the most amazing view of the city. If you can time it so that you can seat there in time for the sunset, that's the best. The prices at the restaurant are fair considering the area. I recommend the food places towards the back where you can order kids' combos in a cafeteria style. All the staff was friendly and tried to help communicate despite the fact that our French was very lacking. They even had ice for our drinks! The best is that there's no Cover for sitting indoors!
google avatar

Ria S.

Yelp
Whenever we're in Paris our default shopping store is Galleries Lafayette. They have all the luxurious brands from Louis Vuitton to Chanel. Impeccable service. Make sure to visit their rooftop to see the view of the city. We truly enjoy our shopping time here. They assist you with your VAT receipt and provide you detailed instruction how to process it at the airport upon your departure day. See you again next time!
google avatar

Jessica L.

Yelp
Beautiful high-end, luxury department store with lots to explore and shop. As soon as you walk in, it feels very grand and lively. There are different floors for men's and women's clothing, shoes, makeup/skincare, bags, etc... everything you can think of. There is an incredible view of Paris at the very top as well (can see the Eiffel Tower)! It was definitely crowded everywhere while we were there from 6-8 PM. There are pastries displayed everywhere and they are so beautiful! The attention to detail in French pastries is insane. Prices are a little out of budget so we didn't try any, unfortunately. We did eat at the food court however... Had a salmon quiche, flan, and a burger, which all tasted amazing.

Yelp
Fabulous shopping in the heart of Paris! You can find everything here from local souvenirs to the top designers. The gourmet food hall is a must visit. It's basically a huge grocery store with tons of unique food items and ingredients you will only find in France or that are very hard to find in the US. If you spend 100 euros or more on eligible items (pretty much anything other than food) visit the tax refund kiosks where the staff will help you print your tax refund paperwork which you will then validate at another kiosk at the airport to receive your tax refund. Sales staff were friendly and spoke English which made it easy to navigate. They do keep it pretty hot inside in the winter, so you might want to dress in layers. It can also get a bit crowded. But no visit to Paris is complete without a visit here!
