Vanilla Bake Shop

Passing through and stopped to grab a red velvet cupcake and chocolate chip cookie ( I have a sweet tooth.. no judging). The red velvet cupcake was dry, but the icing did help… it’s a small cupcake, I did expect a very moist cake, especially for the price. I had the cookie later that evening and it was good.

Had a flight out of gate 151 last Monday morning. Starbucks line was too long. One person in line here. Got an iced vanilla latte, cheese danish, and ham and cheese croissant. All three were excellent.

Quick option for a drink and dessert close to gate 151. The hot chocolate and cupcake were good, not amazing. Price is high, but this is the LAX Airport.

I don’t like to write bad reviews. But I feel obligated to warn people to not spend their hard earned money on the double chocolate cupcake. The frosting was flavorless as well as the cupcake part. It was a real disappointment and I have very low expectations for sweets. These were not even as good as day old cupcakes from the grocery store. My partner had the macaroons (pistachios and salted caramel). He did not like them because they were crumbly. The one star is for the nice lady working the counter.

I came to this store as there was a long queue at the other more popular coffee shop. Unfortunately, I wasn't immediately attended to as the counter staff asked me to wait as she was rearranging the pantry. The egg sandwich was tasty though while the vanilla latte was good.

This is review for Dolores. I've had their cupcakes before. They're good. No complaints. This time I just grabbed some coffee but what made it memorable was the lady at the kiosk that morning. Dolores was so friendly and kind, it made my early morning flight much more enjoyable than it normally would have been haha. Thanks for the great attitude Dolores!

Fast service. Their vanilla latte is good. If the line in Starbucks is long, this cafe is the next to get your coffee fast. Recommended

Excellent organic ground work coffee, no line and very personal experience. Just pass Starbucks you won’t regret it.
