Vashon Llamas

My friends surprised me with a wonderful lunch adventure at Vashon Llamas! Kelly was so lovely and kind, she explained so much to us about llama comportment and history in America. It was a unique and delightful experience to meet and feed these lovely creatures! Highly recommend!!

I wish that I could give Vashon llamas 10 stars. Ms. Kelly is one of the sweetest and most genuine people I have ever met. She went above and beyond to accommodate us on her own time because my friend was having surgery the next day. She absolutely loves sharing her expertise about her beautiful llamas. We brought a little charcuterie board and some wine, and had an amazing afternoon. We have been wanting to do this for such a long time, and this experience was better than we could have dreamed. We had the most amazing time! Thank you Ms. Kelly for sharing your sweet babies with us! ♥️🦙🦙🦙🦙♥️

Kelly made sure my mother and I had a fun mother's day weaving class. We started by meeting the stars of the show, the llama pack. Super chill meeting them! Then we were invited into the house where we chose which loom we would use. Kelly had already done the hard work of threading up the warp (vertical) thread, so all my mom and I needed to do was to choose the weave (horizontal) thread, but boy did we have a ton of color selection! The weaving patterns were easy to follow-along with, and by the end of our time we both had a nicely sized piece of woven cloth! Kelly was wonderful throughout the entire process and even helped to advise us on which ferry terminal we should use to get back to Seattle. I 100% recommend taking a class! I'll be back with others for future weaving classes

Exceeded all expectations! Host was phenomenal, friendly, and knowledgeable! She made sure our time was nothing short of the very best. Llama treats were provided to pass out to the llamas. She provided plates, cups and all the serving needs for the snacks we brought. It was the perfect no drama llama happy hour!! 10/10 would do again.

This was an incredibly fun and educational experience. We took a Girl Scout troop of cadets, 5th and 6th graders. Kelly kept us all engaged from llama learning, petting and feeding, to successfully creating patterns with yarn on a loom, to finally a llama parade. I recommend this experience that you and your children will always remember.

An amazing time! Kelly was so friendly and accommodating. We loved spending time with the llamas and learning about them. A great way to spend our anniversary and have a picnic.

My kids had such an amazing time with Kelly and the llamas! Kelly has a wonderful way with kids and tailored the experience just for them. They loved feeding and petting the llamas and getting a spinning demonstration. Unforgettable!

What an amazing experience! Kelly is so knowledgeable about Llamas. It was such a beautiful setting with such kind and majestic llamas. Making an appointment was easy and I loved how each visit is just with one family at a time. My boys loved it and said they can’t wait until their next visit! My group of 5 girlfriends were searching for a unique experience on Vashon Island. We found Kelly and her Llamas and looked no further! We had a lovely afternoon learning from Kelly about llamas and her family's life with them. The llamas were very friendly and ready for treats. And no... they don't spit! This is really the place to go for a one of a kind experience. Will go again and again!

The owner Kelly is a very friendly person. Fairy garden in front with some spinner items my 2 year old liked. Llamas were there in full effect! If you like llamas this is the spot!!

We had a great visit with Kelly and her llamas yesterday. I now know that llamas are gentle, kind, and very intelligent animals. Kelly was amazing answering any question that we had. I highly recommend a visit.

We spent some time here this afternoon with Kelly and her llamas. My 8 year old loved every minute of it. (I did too!!) Kelly was awesome with her and even let her help with putting hay out for the afternoon. Definitely something that I will always remember for our short stay on Vashon.

So much fun, we all enjoyed it. My wife, 8yr old and 11 month old daughters really enjoyed the hands on of the farm. My 8yr old couldn't get enough of it. Kelly was an amazing host, we could of sat and talked with her for hours. Definitely needs to be on your list while you're here.

We spent the morning with Kelly and the Llamas and it was fantastic. My son is 9 and Kelly perfectly addressed him as per his age, knowledge, and abilities. Often in this sort of thing, adults aren't great at gaging that but she was incredible. We adults had a ton of fun too. We will certainly be coming back!

Oh my goodness! These llamas are so friendly, well-behaved and so easy to fall in love with. I dragged my husband to Vashon to visit llamas and this turned out to be such a treat for both of us. Kelly is so friendly and we really loved how passionate and how much love she has for her llamas. We learned so much and hope to visit again soon to get my llama-love on! A far more valuable experience than the price they ask for. I felt we owed so much more!

Kelly is amazing and knows a lot about llamas. The llamas were very well behaved and we were given treats to feed them. You are up close and personal with these beautiful animals in a beautiful backyard. It is a must if you visit Vashon!

My husband took me here as part of my birthday trip to Vashon, as I love llamas. This was my dream experience plus more. Kelly was so kind, accommodating and knowledgeable and it was very evident she loves her llamas dearly! We got to pet the llamas, walk Altaire and Canute, and even got to get them to jump! Highly recommend. We will definitely be back.

Kelly was a real joy to be around and great with my daughter. Altair was certainly our favorite, but all the llamas were super friendly! Our visit was the highlight of our trip - all the way from Florida!

My 7 year old daughter has participated in many camps over the last few years and this was one of our top experiences as well as most unique! Kelly is so kind and engaging with her campers and treats her llamas with the utmost dignity and respect. My daughter had such a fun time working with the animals, learning llama history and weaving with fibers handspun by Kelly. We are looking forward to coming again next year!
