I visited Gustitos Latinos during a cultural Peruvian festival and my experience was disappointing. I ordered the Fritada, which turned out to be the weakest dish of the day. The pork was dry, overly charred, and lacked any real flavor, it was tough to get through and I ended up throwing most of it away. The sides that came with the bowl were equally bland and did little to justify the cost.
I also tried the fried plantain with cheese, hoping it might redeem the meal, but it too was lacking, no seasoning, no balance, just uninspired fair-style food.
I’d suggest skipping this one, there are far better Peruvian restaurants out there worth your time and appetite.
