The 38 Best Restaurants in Calgary, Canada | Eater

"Whether or not you’re vegan, this little fast-food spot on 17th Avenue will satiate cravings for cheeseburgers, fried “chicken,” and other meaty entrees. The breakfast sandwiches and burgers appear awfully familiar compared to offerings at mainstay fast-food chains, but nothing close enough to incite a cease and desist. The Lil’ Cheezburger always hits the mark, and the milkshakes — try the root beer swirl or pina colada — are perfect treats on a warm day. [$]" - Dan Clapson

It was my first time here, and before coming in I checked the reviews. I have to agree with many of them, the food is really good. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and loved the pesto sauce on it. I usually like having a sauce with my fries, and since this is a Venezuelan burger spot, I didn’t expect them to have their own house sauce. It looked a bit like ranch but had its own unique flavor, and it paired perfectly with both the fries and the sandwich. Overall, I really enjoyed the combination. The food was great and the place is very clean.

First time trying V Burger Venezuelan food. Great flavor on both the patacon and the arepa. The soups also look lovely. Try something different and check out all the options they have.

My husband has been curious about this place for a while, and we finally tried it today—wish we’d gone sooner! Everything was amazing! The food was so flavorful, we couldn’t stop talking about it. He ordered the Picante Burger, and I had the V Burger—both were absolutely delicious. I’m in love and already can’t wait to come back and try something new!

This was my first time having Venezuelan food and it was so good! I enjoyed a little bit of everything. Also, I loved the setup of the place, it's so cute and very clean. I'm glad my family and I tried this spot because we'll definitely be coming back soon☺️

Very surprised with this place! Loved the atmosphere, great service and the food was very good. I asked for recommendation and they gave me the plantain sandwich (plantains instead of bread) and I chose shredded beef for the meat. It was very tasty! First time having plantains. It reminded me of a crispy potato bun. Will definitely return

I don't usually do negative reviews of small business. I was not a fan of their empanada dough. Maybe I am not familiar with how Venezuelan empanadas should be. I got all of the 4 flavors. The shredded beef was ok but the hamburger had bones or something hard in the meat and not much flavor Ham and chicken were ok.

Absolutely incredible! Probably the best new place I have tried in 10+ years. We had a sandwich (forgot the name), a burger, and tequenos. The flavors and textures were intense and unique and just out of this world. We will be back!

LOVE this place! We recently fell in love with Venezuelan cuisine, and it was so great to experience yet another amazing Venezuelan restaurant in our area. The owner and the whole staff were very helpful & welcoming. We tried the carne asada Patacones, the tequeños, Besitos de Coco (coconut cookies), and the chicha (Venezuelan milkshake). I also have to mention that their white garlic sauce is INCREDIBLE 🙌 If you’re wanting to try Venezuelan food for the first time, I definitely recommend V Burger as an introduction. We already can’t wait to come back and try more menu items!
