Vecchia Sorni

We had the ricotta dumplings as the main dish and the buchtel for dessert. Both were quite heavy, with too much dough overall, which made the meal feel unbalanced.

I am a frequent visitor of vecchia sorni. I find the antipasti and primi are always well executed, the seconds as well as the desserts are always a roulette. What really disappointed me was the dessert this time, a Sicilian cannolo that was on the menu - unfortunately both me and my wife did not manage to eat that as the ricotta was very acid - in my opinion gone bad. Service as always very attentive and view stunning!

I chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday and made sure to contact them in advance to reserve a table, mentioning the special occasion. Unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant. Despite my prior reservation and request, we were seated at a second-row table with no view, while the nicer tables by the window remained empty. Because when those tables eventually freed up, we politely asked to move but were harshly refused—no explanation given, just “no” and that’s all. The staff seemed completely uninterested in making our celebration enjoyable. Their attitude was rude, their expressions unfriendly, and the overall atmosphere, unfortunately, was anything but welcoming. To make matters worse, the food didn’t meet expectations either. The roe deer dish was dry, bland and underwhelming—I wouldn’t recommend ordering it. What was supposed to be a joyful celebration turned into a frustrating and upsetting experience. We left feeling deeply disappointed and wouldn’t return or recommend this place to others.

Strongly recommends! Lovely place, amazing view, surprising and very tasty food, kind staff. One of the best experiences I had in Italian restaurants, 10/10!

We were recommended this restaurant by the lovely lady host at Nevis camperstop. Beautiful food, incredible setting on the terrace, welcomed our dog. Friendly service and great value. Would return. Be aware road up to restaurant is challenging in motorhome (7m).

Landmark restaurant 🍃 small town uphill . Saturday28 November 2020 lunchtime 11:45 reservations for 12:00 on sharp. Beautiful view from the panoramic terrace made of wood with modern touch glass everywhere. Love it. "Keep in mind nowadays world need to reminds that we are going thru pandemic Covid-19 so dinning could be risky restaurants have been linked to air circulation Direction, ventilation, and intensity of airflow might affect virus transmission, even if social distancing measures hand sanitizer and mask use are implemented ,Masks cannot be effectively worn while eating and drinking, so I was hoping somehow windows enlisted one was open in order to let airflow circulate "nope" I know is winter time but this is a pandemic situation where this should be as standard procedure, they have great protocols like you need to hand sanitizer before seating 👍. But the most importantly is 👉Airflow👉 unfortunately is not an place . 👉Now let's talk about the yummy food impressed with the menu , wine list pretty good🍾 local wine from small winery's. Service was professional . I eat an hurry since the restaurants was getting crowd and no Airflow. P.s Now do I recommended this place .... ? Great food, great view, super nice staff!

Just... Just go there. Speechless. Astonishing view, extremely professional and acknowledged staff, and amazing, surprising and balanced flavor combinations in every single dish. I wish there were a couple more stars to hit for this place. A nice terrace under construction for the summer.
