Nice restaurant with great view over Streto di Messina and with excellent food and service, not your average italian pizzeria, this is an a la carte restaurant!

Although located between Villa San Giovanni and Cannitello “Vecchio Porto” is possibly one of the top 3 restaurants in Reggio Calabria and vicinity. The food is excellent! Incredibly fresh and top grade seafood. The variety of dishes and the creativity behind it is second to none. From the appetizers down to their delicious main course this restaurant is top notch. If you want to treat yourself for a dinner or a lunch of heaven taste for your palate this is the place to go. I heard they make a killing pizza as well and I believe it. Very nice restaurant on the sea side, close to the main port to cross to Sicily. Fish is delicious, quality is very high. You pay quite higher prices compared to the regional standards, but you are going to taste incredibly fresh fish, served using a great combination of ingredients while keeping it simple enough. Wonderful experience. Nice view from the terrace and very nice and helpful staff.

Great food and service, with a little tasty bite "on the house" before our food arrived.

Fantastic place really welcoming staff. The food is divine with absolutely fresh produce. We had fish all along with glasses of Malvasia. Evwey dish is an work of art! If you are around you should book and enjoy this great restaurant. Just one small disappointment, the chairs are not so confortable, at least for me, I am fussy about chairs :-). We'll be back before leaving.

Travelling from Sicily to Puglia on January Monday we were trying to find a place for lunch with no luck. A number of the reservations made via The Fork were cancelled at last minute. We chose this place via Google with no sure that the place is open. The place is wonderful, run and served by the owners. Tasty and super quality food. Fish & chips and pasta with gamberi - are ideal. Pasta with gamberi - the recipe is something unique! Good wine list and personal recommendation for us what to choose for right matching. Thank a lot for our ideal experiance.
