Google
The night boat tour was a great experience. It lasted about an hour and offered wonderful views of many iconic and historic buildings. Although it was advertised as a “musical tour,” the music was simply played over the speakers, but it still added to the atmosphere and made the scenery enjoyable. The staff member scanning tickets was very helpful and accommodating—when we couldn’t find seats on the earlier tour, they assisted us in rescheduling for a later time. Overall, it was a pleasant and memorable experience.

Google
Très bien du service! From the ticketing box receptionist on board staffs until the tour guide, all of them are very friendly and helpful. I had a very nice little celebration for myself last week. Will come back again soon!

Google
I was sort of dreading this touristy excursion with two visitors I had in town, but actually I was pleasantly surprised at how well run the trip was. And I had been expecting some pre-recorded tour guiding or a clunky audio guide, but we had a live and lively guide (Maxim?) who was engaging and funny. The website was a little dated (e.g., no ApplePay) but overall I recommend, even for Paris locals! Good value for money.

One great way to explore Paris when you don’t have much time is to take a boat cruise along the Seine River. You get to see many of the city’s famous landmarks, like the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame, and the Louvre, all from a relaxing seat on the water. The view is beautiful, and no traffic jam :) It’s a peaceful and charming way to experience Paris from a different perspective.

Google
I purchased the ticket through Smiles, the customer service was very good and fast, the tour was great, very informative, and it was on schedule. There is a bar on board with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. I recommend it.

Google
Such a lovely evening time music cruise along the Seine. Wonderful and friendly staff made the entire experience that much better. It was the perfect way to start our visit to Paris.

Google
I had a smooth and enjoyable cruise experience, with friendly staff, and I even received free tickets for my birthday, making it even more special for me. So add this to your itinerary if you're coming to Paris.

Google
We went on a one-hour Seine boat tour for a fair price, including a free drink. The tour was really enjoyable, with amazing views of all the famous sights. The absolute highlight? Seeing the Eiffel Tower framed by a rainbow after a short rain — such a magical moment!

Yelp
A wonderful way to see many of the beautiful architecture in Paris without having to walk. The cruise goes up and down the Seine river for a total of 1 hour. Our narrator was very informative about all the buildings along the cruise and stopped for questions. She spoke both French and English. Recommend to go at night as the buildings will be much more dramatically alit. Happy Travels!!

Yelp
Such a beautiful way to see the city of Paris! Highly recommend doing an evening tour when the sun goes down. They do free boat rides on your birthday, which is why I went! You get to see all the wonderful sites of Paris in a relaxing one hour boat ride. Bring a jacket it gets a bit chilly in the evening!

Yelp
Our river cruise happened on a rainy night, where the Seine river's water level was too high for our boat to do the full cruise route. Our narrator made the experience fun anyway and we enjoyed her explanation of the sights and backstory of the landmarks. We didn't take the snack option because the cruise was only an hour long. It would have been perfect if the weather allowed for us to be outside and see better from the deck than through the rain-speckled windows.

Yelp
Booked through Get Your Guide. Were told that we would have a "guide with interesting commentary," but that was not the case. There was no guide, which was very disappointing bc we were passing so many attractions and were not able to find out their backstory. Pictures also showed a double decker boat, but the boat we were on looked like the cheapest boats on the Seine. Book another cruise.

Yelp
The wine was terrible, the Moscow mule tasting nothing h like a Moscow mule. They gave my crepe to another person who brought it back b/c it was wrong and then tried to give it to me after she had touched the crepe. All in all a terrible experience. The fries were ok... Don't waste your money.

Yelp
We had signed up for the Eiffel Tower and this boat ride down the river Seine as a package. Although the Eiffel Tower was a scheduled visit (with a time slot), I don't recall this boat ride being that regimented. The dock area is just 100 yards or so from the tower. There's no assigned seating so you should try to get in line early to improve your chances of getting a seat with nice views. There are plenty of locals and tourists with their kids so you'll hear a lot of cheerful chatter. The recorded tour guide announcements, as you glide along, are both in French, and then in English. Enjoy the beautiful bridges, views of the other boats, the Parisians (no - they won't wave back), Notre Dame, Museum d Orsay, the Louvre, the beautiful architecture, etc. On a sunny day, this was just a wonderful experience. Note: If you have champagne tickets, they won't serve you in your seat, you actually need to go to the bar area on the boat. But It's a minor inconvenience.

Yelp
Went here in August of 2018. Would like to give higher than a 1 star but that's about their cafe deserves. The cruise itself was fine.

Yelp
It was Sunday and our last day in Paris. We didn't book a Seine river cruise ahead of time and unfortunately all of the booking sites were showing sold out online for Sunday. We decided to take a chance and went to the Pier/river cruise boarding area which is close to the Eiffel Tower. Good we did so as around 6 pm the next boat was leaving In 10 minutes with more after. It was a beautiful afternoon/early evening and we really enjoyed this cruise & sitting on the open upper deck. There is an indoor section on the first level. It's about an hour long and they have a good site/tour commentary in English. You can purchase beer, Champagne and other refreshments. They even had Crepes available. Would recommend buying the Champagne package as you get a discount on a glass of Champagne which is 10 Euros separately & this is a must as sipping Champagne while enjoying Paris from the Seine is magical.

Yelp
Wonderful trip. Nice boat and not too crowded. But bizarrely bad choice of music for the entire trip.

Yelp
Bless me father, for I'm 'bout to Seine. The sightseeing river cruise on the Seine by Vedettes de Paris runs 15€ and 60 minutes. The boat has open air front and upper decks as well as a heated, glass-covered main deck with huge windows. This let's everybody Seine in their own way ... just don't judge me because I Seine differently than you. The tour is called the "Croisière Découverte" because ... well ... everything just sounds better in French. Luckily, Vedettes de Paris also has English and Spanish recordings available since listening to French is cool, but I can't really speak it ... except "Le poisson est dans la bibliothèque" ... which hasn't quite proven to be useful (yet). If Vegas is Sin City, then Paris is the Seine City of France. There is no hiding the Seine which flows through the heart of the nation's capital. We began at the foot of the Eiffel Tower and then floated past famous monuments including the Hôtel des Invalides, Musée d'Orsay, Musée du Louvre, and Notre-Dame de Paris. Just past the Pont Marie, the boat turned around to pass under the same bridges towards the site of our original Seine at the Vedettes de Paris dock. And just like that, it was time to say "adieu" to our afternoon full of Seine. Was it a marvelous tour? Non, monsieur, it was not. It was ok. Was it worth doing once? Oui, probably. Besides, if you don't Seine, then did Jesus die for nothing. Go forth and Seine no more.

Yelp
I took the 1-hour guided tour of Paris, Cruise-Discovery aboard Vedettes cruise. Their location is excellent, just steps away from Eiffel Tower. If you are doing a day trip to Paris from another European city, you can go visit the Tower and do this cruise. No need to go far. They run a cruise every 30 minutes, so there is not much waiting around. The boat has 2 levels of seating - the top floor is where most of the tourists head. That's where the breeze is to give a respite from the Paris summer heat. The cruise is not expensive and the commentary gave lot of good information.

Yelp
I booked through booking dot com. If you do this you still have to go through the purchasing line to pick up the tickets to board. There is little benefit except the small discount. It's hard to hear the announcements. But what they say is interesting when it can be heard. We enjoyed a crepe and a gorgeous golden hour cruise if the River. A great way to spend some time.
google avatar

Kendra M.

Yelp
Did the champagne cruise, which consisted of a private area in the front of the boat with a sommelier and three full glasses of champagne to try. I loved our sommelier. He worked the crowed well without being annoying. I learned a lot about champagne and some of the history of Paris. The champagne was good. It didn't feel like a cheap selection or anything. Overall, I think the price was fair when I compare it to the price of a generic river boat cruise. Plus, we weren't all packed on the top of a boat like sardines, the way other river cruises do it.

Yelp
Horrible! I wish I could write it in few other languages including French, German, Greek , Russian and more!!! We ordered four food, two came after 45min, 3rd one after another 20min, 4th one got lost somewhere and we canceled it after one hour. We asked for water 15 times, extra glass for water 30 times, napkins for 30 times, butter never showed up. It's not recommended in 100 languages!!! Horrible!!+

Yelp
After a day few hours of walking around and visiting the Eiffel Tower in the worst shoes possible, my sister and I were sitting under a bridge with lots of other people next to the Seine river. We decided instead of sitting there, we should do a boat tour. We walked over to the tour area. There are many tours to choose from. Some include dinner some a snack and some just the cruise and tour. We decided to stick with the one hour tour down the Seine. It was a round trip cruise so the guide talked about landmarks and buildings on both sides of the river. It was a very hot day, in the high 90's Fahrenheit so the breeze on the boat felt great. Also getting out of the sun and sitting on the lower deck was great. The tour was nice. The guide spoke in English and pointed out a lot of interesting buildings, landmarks and bridges. It was a wonderful and relaxing tour. The cost was about 15 Euros per person which quite honestly is a good deal compared to some other cruise tours I have been on. I would absolutely do this again if I were back in Paris, although next time I might try it at night now that I have done it in the daytime.

Yelp
I've been on the bateaux mouche and this is about the same. Smaller boat with aluminum chairs laid out on the upper deck that aren't affixed, but still enjoyable. Actually perhaps more so because there were much fewer people, and it costs the same 15€ for adults. Small bar inside with full bar of drinks, sandwiches and little snacks. They have a recorded tour in a several languages that announce the sites as you approach them and a little historical note. If you sit inside, do it in the front of the boat as it has a glass ceiling and you can admire the sights. The rest of the ceiling isn't glass since that is what the chairs on the roof are on. I enjoy these water tours. They are nice during the day and also at night when the sights are lit up by floodlights. Leisurely way to see Paris when your feet hurt. They probably have a bathroom onboard, but I used the one in the basement of the office barge. It costs 0.50€.

Yelp
Rude girl at the ticket kiosk. Watch out. Price is good but not that good. Accommodation sucks big time. They have no canopy to offer protection during a harsh climate but do offer a used blanket. Nice! Night cruise is lot nicer than during the day time.

Yelp
After our site seeing cruise we were walking around & came across this area. We were looking to get some drinks & maybe a quick bite to eat this area has some food stands so we decide to check it out. We stopped at the first food stand got some chicken nuggets & fries as well as a ham panini sandwich. Chicken nuggets were good fries good as well. The panini was good too. Drinks I had some Heineken beer & my friends had Jack & coke...Beer was great because it was nice & cold, drinks were good as well. This was a nice area to just sit & relax for a few, since u are right by the Eiffel tower u get some nice views.

Yelp
My sister and I had just finished visiting the Eiffel Tower and decided to head down to the river. We were in Paris when it was about 96 degrees Fahrenheit so we wanted some shade and were hoping to cool off. After sitting under a bridge and cooling off we walked over to the different boat tours and stumbled upon this tour. It was directly across from the Eiffel Tower and down some stairs. It was really easy to get to. It is a one hour tour up the Seine river and then back to the starting point. The cost was 15 euros per person. We sat in the back, bottom level of the boat where it was open and shaded. There was a great cool breeze and we sat on the left side. Going up the river the majority of things to see were on the left so it was a perfect spot for us. Although the boat does not stop so you can get on and get off and different spots it was nice to see the outside of many places while relaxing on a boat in the shade. The tour passes many attractions such as the Louvre (you can only see the back, not a great view), the Grand Palace, Notre Dame, and a few other museums/buildings. You also pass under some gorgeous bridges and the boat provides a great photo opportunity. The whole tour is narrated in different languages so the majority of people can understand what they are seeing. Overall it was a great way to spend an hour and I would definitely do the tour again if I was in Paris. The only downside is that you can't get on and off the boat.

Yelp
The cruise is takes around 1 hour 10 minutes and includes all the popular Paris landmarks : ile de cite, pont de alexander III, luvr, musee d'orsay. The guide is in three languages: english, French and Spanish. One minus is communication with service staff, I bought online ticket via booking com and it turned out to be a voucher to exchange (different queue).

Yelp
Terrible. Clearly did not want to serve Americans. We waited for at least 12 minutes for a server to come to our table, then gave up and went somewhere else. When we left, one of the servers came right to our table and collected our menus and said good bye sarcastically. Based on other reviews, this seems to be a pattern with this location. Save your Euros.

Juli C.

Yelp
So sad to say the service is very disrespectful to Americans. The food was ok but unfortunately the people working don't care who how they treat people. thankfully this has been our only poor experience in Paris.

Yelp
Paris at night is beautiful and taking an hour long cruise along the Seine river is a great way too see the sights all lit up. There are a bunch of different boats to choose from and they're mostly around the same price for an hour cruise along the Seine (15 euros). We were originally going to take the Bateaux Parisien but I was tired of walking and Vedettes was right in front of us so we just went for it. Haha. It was a smaller boat but I found it more peaceful to only have a few people at a time. The top deck only had 2 seats per row on each side. Try to come at least 30 mins before boarding to get a pick of the prime seats on the top deck though. There was a recorded commentary in English that alerted you to upcoming sights along with interesting facts about them. It departs in front of the Eiffel so it's convenient if you want to hang out after the cruise and just watch the twinkling lights.
google avatar

Dennis S.

Yelp
The cruise was fine. One calm circuit up and down the Seine through the main part of Paris. But for the whole cruise their speaker system did not work on the lower level. So we heard none of the commentary, which was given in both French and English. Other than that, the view was excellent. It's a straightforward cruise we've taken before and always enjoy. There are cruise operators up and down the river, so there's no reason to search out this one.
google avatar

Wendy B.

Yelp
Do not do this tour. It is not organized. The boat was supposed to board at 4pm, it did not because the boat was at least 20 minutes late. We didn't get underway until 4:40! Then some a-holes saved all the seats topside and the rest of us were stuck below with screaming children and a crepe stand. The "tour" was a recording you could not hear over the boat motor. You think that the boat moored next to the dock is your boat, it isn't. That boat, The Pelican, is stationary and they do nothing to promote that business because the bar down the walk from the ticket booth is far more inviting.
google avatar

Caroline A.

Yelp
Excellent way to see Paris by boat which is a must do when visiting. There is no better way to experience Paris than to cruise down the Seine. This company offers reasonable tickets at the ticket counter but you can save a few Euros if you prebook online even on the day of the tour. Before you board you can purchase snacks or drinks at the snack counter. There is a guide to highlight the top landmarks which is helpful. Be sure to bring your camera and soak up the city!

Yelp
Not the flashiest of boats to take you down the Seine for an hour but it did the trick. There's a covered section so you can stay warm if you like but you'll get better photos from the outside part if you can stand the cold (obviously it was December and it was 4pm so getting colder). The hour-long trip starts and finishes at the quay right next to the Eiffel Tower. It takes you past the various monuments including Notre Dame, then back again. This time was a very good time to catch it as you have the benefits of part day time and part dusk. Tickets cost around £10 per adult but if you have Tesco vouchers exchange them for clubcard deals and you can get this free. Beware they take photos of you on the boat before it gets going and have them printed and ready on the quayside when you return. Just one print costs 10 euros, if you want it on CD it's more.

Masked Non-Elite I.

Yelp
Website says 1 hour cruise that departs every half hour. We arrived at 6.45 and didn't get on board until a little bit before 7.30. The cruise itself took over 1.5 hours. Because of this timing mishap, we were late for our Michelin restaurant reservation by over an hour, and was unable to make the reservation. Not pleased. Also no live tour guide and no speakers on lower level for audio commentary.

Dennis L.

Yelp
I really liked this boat ride, mostly because the views were amazing. The boat takes off from the base of the Eiffel Tower with regular departures. The boats do get crowded so if you really want a top seat get on the boat early (not minutes before the boat takes off). The commentary is an automated voice, probably GPS triggered. I'm not a big fan of these things. They just lack character. The cost of each trip is 15 euro. A little tip, if you're going at night and want to take photos, set your point and shoot camera to sport setting to prevent camera blur.

Jennifer T.

Yelp
Awful. Some of the tables were given complimentary bread, and others weren't - there seemed to be no rhyme or reason. It took 10 minutes for a server to approach us. I ordered my steak medium, but it came out as shoe leather. I sent it back, and while it was medium, it was still terribly tough to eat with the butter knife I was provided. It was just a cheap cut of meat... My spouse ordered chicken, which was so overcooked that she couldn't finish it. We ordered ketchup for our fries, but it never came.
google avatar

David L.

Yelp
Ahhh, an hour long boat ride on the Seine river. How exciting. I will base this review on a night boat ride as I was aboard the boat ride which started at 9:00pm. It was nice clear night, and boat was leaving the dock, and I had an excellent view of the Eiffel Tower. Every hour, on the hour at night, the Eiffel tower lights up and flashes, which I was lucky to view on a boat. It was really special, however, about 5 minutes later, it was raining hard. Boo hoo, so I had to sit inside the covered portion of the boat. There was an automated voice which explained the sites you will see during the ride and it was in English. However, it wasn't really enjoyable because I didn't see much life at night. The streets weren't filled with people beside the Seine river and it was hard to get a true colour of the buildings at night. Artificial lighting at night doesn't do justice for what you will see during the day in Paris. I couldn't keep myself falling asleep. I had to try so hard so I wouldn't fall alseep. So, if you're going to go on the Vedettes de Paris boat ride, don't do it at night.

Yelp
We had a nice meal here before a boat tour. The staff was nice and the food was quite good.

Lauren R.

Yelp
We booked a romantic seine river cruise with two couples. We pre- purchased our tickets from viator (mistake.) The staff was not knowledgeable of different packages offered; and unable to scan smartphones. Our purchase included champagne and a crepe. However, after much back and forth and contention we only were given the champagne initially requested. We had a light dinner and were expecting to have a dessert crepe on the boat (since we upgraded our ticket to include it.) In the end, I would just recommend waiting to walk the pier and consider pretty much any other boat.

Malak D.

Yelp
This is in regards to the restaurant that goes with the cruise. Do not eat here, it is the worst place in Paris. The service was awful, the people behind the counter were so rude. When there was a bug in my coffee and I asked for a new one they only replaced it after commenting that it's not their problem and then laughing at me. Plus the food tastes like cardboard and is not cooked properly. Also overpriced, especially for what it is. Not worth eating here just to sit close to the Eiffel Tower. Wish I could give negative stars.

Jackson G.

Yelp
We enjoyed the VIP champagne tour with a very charming, knowledgeable, and good humored multilingual sommelier trained in France, the UK, and the US (UC Davis to be exact). He offered three champagnes to try...none of them exceptional but certainly quite enjoyable and when quaffed on the Seine, all the better. We thoroughly enjoyed the nighttime tour of Paris with the personal commentary from our multi-talented sommelier. A very fun hour spent enjoying the sparkle of the City of Lights and the champagne.
