Vegan and Vine

We were visiting from San Diego, CA and happened to glance over and see Vegan and Vine. Thank goodness because not only was their service amazing, the food was delicious! We ordered the plant-based cheeseburger and the VV Power Salad, plus a side of the Apple Protein Bowl. The burger was so tasty, I thought I was going to regret getting the salad but that was yummy, filling, and exceeded my expectations! On top of the delicious food, the service was top tier. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and so welcoming! I am so glad we caught this restaurant at the last minute. If you are in the area, highly recommend stopping in for an overall amazing experience.

A delightful family owned restaurant with a cozy ambiance! The owners are sisters, they are very kind people! They’ve got a lovely selection of wines, and speciality cocktails. The brussel sprouts are delicious, you’ve gotta try at least one appetizer! The chicken fried steak sandwich AND the grilled cheese with tomato basil soup- incredible! Be sure to grab a dessert on your way out; They have selections unlike anywhere else! 🩷 Especially the creme brûlée and beignets!!

In town for a wedding and when I looked for vegan places nearby, this came up. We ended up trying one of the new sushi rolls, which was fantastic, a pasta dish, and the buffalo sandwich. Everything was well prepared and tasty. They also had wonderful wine selection, the Malbec was delicious. The service was enthusiastic and friendly, it was an all around excellent meal.

I moved to Arizona about 2 months ago from California and I was a little worried I would have trouble finding vegan options for me. I was completely wrong. I was able to find this amazing local natural restaurant that makes artificially free vegan food. I got the cheeseburger and it’s made in house. The patties are 100% made in the restaurant not processed. The ranch is amazing and I got a vegan cupcake that is made by one of the pastry bakers here. I will 100% to be coming back again and again. All for the animals. 💚

We had the most wonderful experience at Vegan & Vine. We arrived about 20 minutes after the kitchen had already closed on New Year’s Eve, fully expecting to be turned away, but instead we were welcomed with such genuine kindness. The staff graciously reopened the kitchen for us and treated us like valued guests from start to finish. The food was absolutely incredible — the buffalo sandwich was hands down the best vegan sandwich I’ve ever had. Every bite was flavorful and perfectly prepared. On top of that, the atmosphere was inviting and comfortable, and the customer service was truly exceptional. You could feel how much care and heart the owners put into each customers experience. This place is a gem. We left feeling grateful, happy, and already planning our next visit. Highly, highly recommend!

What a wonderful family-owned restaurant with a healthy and tasty vegan menu. The chicken fried “steak” sandwich was excellent and the tomato soup hearty (has lentils which adds some extra protein) The mixed drinks were also great!

This is a hidden gem in Phoenix for vegan food! We went here for their breakfast menu and it did not disappoint. Kim B (owner) made us feel at home and was so kind. We ordered the biscuits and gravy, breakfast sandwich, and the chick’n fried steak. Order anything with their gravy and it will not disappoint! Kim also made for me fresh-squeezed orange juice. If you’re looking for a great family-owned vegan breakfast spot, Vegan and Vine is a must visit!

I googled this business mid cheeseburger craving and found that they were conveniently close by so I stopped in. I ordered a plant based burger with fries , the pepino drink and beignets. Parking was fine and it was generally quiet and a little dark . When I walked in all of the staff were very welcoming and offered their assistance. I've never been here before but took a look at the menu prior . Getting to my order : 1. The burger satisfied my craving ( I was skeptical at first that it was plant based as I don't go out to eat often but the menu is plant based friendly) . The burger could have had more prominent seasoning and it was constructed upside down. My bun was also uneven so the bottom was thin and fell apart and the top was thick. The bun itself was brioche and well... Delish. The fries were pretty good , not overly salted but a literal child's palm size of a serving. If I pay that much for a plant based burger and fries I would expected more fries at least. Side note : if you are from the east coast and you ask for fried onions .... It will not be fried onions. PURPLE ONIONS SHOULD NOT BE GRILLED...they are meant for salads or to be eaten raw. Yellow and white onions are meant for grilling. 2. The pepino drink is pretty good it's got cucumber, ginger bear, seltzer and something else but i like it. Just the right amount of ginger where it's not overpowering . It was about$7, Would get again. I'd like for the size to have been a little bigger but ...it's a healthier drink option. That's just how it goes. 3. My beignets.... I'm annoyed. The whole reason I ordered them in the first place was because it would be fresh with berries and a chocolate sauce as stated on the menu. Well when I got home to sit at the table I noticed that it was just fried beignets with some syrup. I wasted like ... $12. That's not what I ordered and if the order cannot be fulfilled accurately I should have been notified because then I wouldn't have gotten them. Dough with a random syrup is not good together. I tried calling 3 times . no one answered and the mail box is full. But in their defense it was a cough away from closing . Portion wise they were 5-6 and good sized. Overall idk if I'd go back because the price does not match the portion size for some things. If that changes then I may return . The staff however were very welcoming and I appreciate good customer service especially in this day and age. I came in an hour before closing and they were still accommodating for my take out request. Adding Napkins and utensils to the take out order bags would be nice as well since I needed a knife and napkins. My bad ...this review is mad lengthy 😐

Awesome restaurant! Great food and the staff are so attentive Gonna start taking all my vegan friends here when they visit town from now on out

Wow! So happy to find this establishment. Because of dietary restrictions, Janelle took great care and made everything gluten free. We had the Brussel sprouts and cauliflower which were great and flavorful. I had the "burger" on GF bread and it was as delicious as any meat product. We also enjoyed a buffalo burger and chicken fried steak sandwich. Despite being a Saturday night, the place was not busy and the establishment is roomy and comfortable. This is a great alternative to Loving Hut (also great).

Came here for dinner on a Tuesday night around 6pm and it was pretty empty. Our waiter was really friendly and checked on us throughout our meal. I ordered the buffalo chicken tofu sandwhich, and it was really good! I'd order it again. It was spicy, though! We got to sit right next to the window which was a nice view. I'm not sure if I liked the vibe of the restaurant, though. There was plenty of inside seating and a parking lot, but something about the inside of the restaraunt felt... off. Maybe it was the fact that not many other people were there? Or the smell of grease from the kitchen. Overall, the food and service was good, but the ambiance could be better.

I had seen this place on Check Please, Arizona and wanted to try it out. We aren't vegan, but try to stick close to plant based. Man...I'm sorry I didn't go sooner. Our chicken fried steak sandwiches were incredible (our amazing server Kimby said she really likes them too) and the wine and desserts were super too. I can't wait to go back. And trust me: none of you will know it's vegan food.

From beginning to end this dining experience was 10/10. The staff are some of the friendliest in Phoenix, the drinks, appetizers and entrees were excellent. The sushi rolls were amazing. Such a treat! And bonus: the music playing was oldies and I'm a sucker for oldies. I'm coming back here as soon as I can.

First time here and truly amazing food! Pizza was so delicious and fresh too. Very good and kind staff as well. Will be back!

Their drinks are to die for I think I ended up getting like 3. The food is delicious. I'm not vegan or vegetarian but still greatly enjoyed my meal. The staff is friendly and attentive with knowledge of the menu items. The place is cozy and I will be back for brunch.

Alana's service was so wonderful! Such a sweetheart! Best vegan cheeseburger I've ever had! We got it with a lettuce wrap and fries on the side! The Brussels sprouts were good as were the wild mushrooms--just needed a little salt but no complaints! Love that they have a bar! So spacious!

Such a disappointing experience. We placed a group order via uber eats after finding them on a vegan blog. I was really looking forward to their vegan chilaquiles. It was an immediate disappointment when I opened the box and found it was DIY. I understand they can get soggy in transport, but sautéed chips in salsa make the chilaquiles. Well expecting these to resemble any type of chilaquiles was my first mistake when you see all that this place serves, it's not a Mexican joint. The sauce lacked any type of flavor as did the tofu scramble and it only had about five beans in it. The sour cream was more like a mayo. The biscuits and gravy looked like a joke. The potatoes sounded like wood chips.

I'm not vegan Some friends are and we met up here. I was hoping they would have something and it turns out they have a lot of things. I ended up trying the portobello burger. Because I've had one in the past that I liked. But this one blew it out of the water. I will go back just for the portobello burger. It was marinated so good. I wish I had one right now. God it was delicious. The service was great and it was a really comfortable atmosphere

We saw this gem on Check Please Arizona. It is centrally located and not far from home. We sat at the bar and started off with the cauliflower wings. Such flavors! This is a must try. The ranch dip is spot on!! I had the burger and fries and was very delicious and complete with a gluten free bun. SCORE!! The staff was so friendly snd the owner was open to question about how dishes were made, Getting vegan food just right is an art and they knocked it right out of the ballpark! I recommend trying Vegan and Vine, this gem does not disappoint.

The service here was very fast and friendly but it was also after lunch hours in the afternoon so not sure how they do with crowds. The sweet potato fries were good! The tacos were okay, a little bland for my liking. The queso had almost no flavor but it did have a decent texture and wasn't overly watery like other vegan queso I've had. It is nice to have all vegan options but could use extra seasoning/flavor in my opinion.

Incredible spot. I brought my non-vegan dad, and he loved it. Service was wonderful as well. This place deserves more business for sure. I will be back

I had a very nice dinner at Vegan & Vine. The food was good and the service was very attentive and friendly too. I love that there is a vegan restaurant in my hood because that seems kind of rare here in the valley. I had the buffalo cauliflower and it was crispy and delicious. For the main course I had the Supreme flatbread and it was pretty good -- it was very good the next day ;) The ambience is very chill -- there were not many people when I went for dinner kind of early. It definitely has a neighborhood vibe. There is a nice full bar and two big TVs which I will definitely check out at another time. I also had a very nice Rose -- I cannot recall which brand it was but it was very tasty. They also have brunch on the weekends which doesn't start until 11am -- so I will try that as well since it is next to impossible to find any plant based options at other breakfast spots -- the chicken fried "steak" looks yummy!!

I CANNOT WAIT to come back here! And I am NOT a vegan or even a vegetarian! I drive by this place a lot and had been curious about it for awhile. When my friend - who is a vegetarian - and I decided to grab dinner the other night, I thought it was the perfect time to finally stop in. She's tried a ton of vegan and vegetarian restaurants so I was curious to hear her feedback....and the results were: we both really enjoyed it! From the homemade tortilla chips which have now ruined all other tortilla chips for me. To the out of this world Buffalo Cauliflower! This was a home run dish! I crave it all the time and my mouth is watering thinking about it right now! We also shared the Veggie Sandwich with fries which was so tasty and flavorful! And don't just take my inexperienced vegan tongue feedback, my friend said this was one of the better vegan places she's been to. Lastly, the service was great! The waitress was down-to-earth, warm and welcoming! 5 star experience from beginning to end!

5 stars -- New favorite spot! Vegan and Vine blew me away! I had the Portobello burger and chicken-fried steak burger--both were packed with flavor. Tried all the desserts (yes, all of them) and they were incredible. That chocolate chip cookie? Better than Starbucks--and I'm a huge Starbucks fan. Everything was delicious. I'm officially obsessed.

Vegan and Vine is my new favorite Vegan joint in Phoenix! As more and more Vegan brick and mortar restaurants open up and survive. It will bring diversity to the Vegan restaurant scene in Phoenix! My hope is that we will have plenty to choose from and that competition raises all their games up! V & V has tons of seating, plenty of parking being neighbors of the Safeway strip mall and a really decent list of items on their menu. I can't speak to the alcohol situation, but they do offer it. There is no need to reinvent the wheel when preparing your favorite item Vegan style! V & V executes it very well. The beignets were very delicious. My family and I were all happy with our selections and cannot wait to go back!

Loved this place! Easily one of my new favorite vegan-friendly spots in Phoenix!

Gave this place three tries. Each time it was disastrous. Food is wildly unimaginative -- nothing on the menu that every vegan hasn't already made at home. Drinks are ok, but too expensive. The staff is nice, but nothing can make up for their boring, plain jane menu.

Kimbie is an amazing waiter, she's fully of positive energy and such an amazing vibe. & Chef Williams is a great chef, my personal favorite. Food is great every time, I come here at least 2x a week.

The cauliflower wings were some of the best I've had!! Crispy and saucy, yum! The sandwich was a little bland and not as filling as I'd like, but fresh and good quality. Service was friendly but a little slow. Happy to support a vegan restaurant in the area, and would definitely go back and try more!

Food was so delicious!! Chef William brought us beignets at the end of the meal and they were the best beignets I've ever had. I wanted 14 more of them I just didn't have room. 10/10 would recommend and I'm not even vegan

We sat outside on the patio. It was very clean and the staff members were very warm and inviting. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. We had The Hummus trio tor an appetizer and honestly it filled me up by itself. The hummus options were perfect and the vegetables were fresh. The Margherita pizza was pretty good but it was a lot better with the vegan ranch sauce the waiter recommended. My date had a portobello burger and he said it was juicy and just the right amount of flavor. He couldn't finish it either due to the portion size. For dessert we had the crème brûlée and beignets. Just the right amount of sweet! I will definitely be coming back!

I am not a Vegan but this place has awesome food. The best Caesar salad and the pizza/flatbread is awesome. The staff is super friendly and they are very personal. I highly recommend this place, glad to have it in the neighborhood. The owner is super nice as well.

This is the most delightful meal I have ordered in years. The freshness of ingredients, the delicious burger and cheese. Even the dressings were refreshing. Money well spent. My next goal will be to visit this establishment in person for the full experience. I highly recommend this meal. 10 out of 10! Go try it

Enjoyed a fantastic lunch today with my family. I ordered the chicken fried steak sandwich with sweet potato fries. The sandwich was amazing and the fries the best I've ever had. We also ordered the margarita pizza, taco salad and kids mac and cheese. Everyone loved their food! The service was great and we'll definitely be back. There are so many other menu items we want to try. This food is cooked with love and it shows!

I had a taco salad and a glass of bubbly wine. The taco salad was amazing. Could've used some more heat like salsa or flavoring on the meat, but it was very good. the bubbly it was good but cost $14 for one glass, really overpriced.

My wife and I were super excited to try this place after following them on IG for a while, the food looked to die for. Unfortunately it wasn't as great as our expectations were. I'm not saying food wasn't good, it just wasn't great. The gravy is very sweet and had a taste of coconut to it which i really did not enjoy, but that's of course personal preferences. The service was great and I appreciated that. The ambiance is ehhh. I will be coming back to try more items and hoping that they can wow me next time. Overall I would recommend.

Vegan & Vine is easily one of the best places in Phoenix for a truly satisfying vegan breakfast! I've tried their breakfast burrito and tofu scramble, and both are comfort food done right, savory, well-seasoned, and surprisingly hearty. Weekend pancakes make a delightful sweet treat, and the carrot cake muffins are so good they could steal the show. The staff are friendly and attentive, creating a relaxed and welcoming vibe. Came from Gilbert just to try their vegan biscuits and gravy and chilaquiles! And let me tell you, they didn't disappoint!!! Some of the best food I have ever had! Kimberly our server was also so incredibly sweet and attentive, and when we left even the whole kitchen staff said bye to us. Overall such a warm and wonderful experience, at such a cute and welcoming place. We will DEFINITELY be back!

We appreciate having a vegan option in the area as there aren't many - we like the full bar, menu variety and super knowledgeable staff - highly recommend!

This place has some really good dishes. I would recommend the cheeseburger, or the chicken fried steak burger. Only improvement I would suggest is expanding their menu so ppl have a few more options to choose from.

We have been going to vegan and vine for a while now. A couple weeks ago we read the board showing kids eat free on Thursday's. So we took the kids two weeks ago on a Thursday and sure enough it was free for them. We thought wow that's amazing. So we thought this morning, also a Thursday. We are and when the check came noticed the kids meals were on the bill. No biggie, so we said something to the server. He hadn't heard of this so he contacted the owner (who was there last time we went and the kids ate free) the owner said "kids have never eater free". So I mentioned the board which still says Thursday's kids eat free. She then told him if it was in the board it was from a few weeks ago and I haven't updated it. He sent her a picture of the board and she stopped responding to him. The kids did not eat free today, which would have been no big deal if it wasn't advertised as so. We have enjoyed this place many many times, and because of the way this was handled we will not be going back. The first time we saw kids eat free was and of march. Then we went back April 10th they are free and went back today and she acted like it wasn't a thing. April 10th there were a few tables with kids eating free. It appears the owner indulges in the vine aspect of the business often. Dishonesty lost you very faithful customers. That picture was taken today

Terrific place! We've had brunch and dinner here, everything was really well put together with impressive flavor. We can recommend the Tofu scramble, breakfast burrito, Taco Salad, and my favorite the Buffalo Sandwich.

Oh my ! I'm not even vegan, but I joined some friends today who were having lunch there and I was amazed at the quality of the food. The tomato soup was to die for and the strawberry greens salads with lime vinaigrette was excellent. Absolutely loved the dressing. The waitress was an absolute delight and just very pleasant and friendly as could be. It was lovely to sit on the patio on such a beautiful day. Prices are extremely reasonable.! Highly recommend for a healthy and delicious meal!

Even for a non-vegan this food is fantastic! Tried the "Chicken fried steak sandwich" and keep coming back for more - great drink prices, great service, live music on Sundays and a total vibe. It's a 10/10 for me and my friends! Also love the fried cauliflower

I came in last night and ordered the cheeseburger. I specifically asked the gentlemen at the front if the burger patty had potato as my wife has a severe potato allergy. I also asked if it was an "impossible" patty as I know they use potato starch. He said no, the patty was made in house and even asked one of the cooks in front of if the patty had potato and/or potato starch to which they reassured me it didn't. Here I am two and a half hours later and my wife is still in hives and is still throwing up from an allergic reaction. IF SOMEONE HAS AN ALLEGY THEN TAKE IT SERIOUSLY AND MAKE SURE YOUR COOKS KNOW THE INGREDIENTS OR ARE WILLING TO ASK SOMEONE WHO KNOWS.

This was our first time here and let me tell you!! What an amazing place! First of all the service was outstanding. The sisters that own the restaurant were so friendly, welcoming, and overall amazing! We felt right at home. We brought my mom here for her birthday-they sang to her and she left with a special sweet treat-on the house! Even though I myself am not vegan, the food was delicious! Will definitely be coming back. Thank you for a wonderful experience

Loved the brunch! The server was so helpful and sweet! She even plated our breakfast sandwich for two since we were going to share! The tofu scramble had a great texture and the crispy potatoes were delicious! Actually crispy. We added the beignets for a sweet touch and they were warm and the vegan chocolate was very good! Such a charming venue and a great place for healthy dining. My friend and I shared avocado toast, sauteed mushrooms, and a breakfast burrito ; all were excellent and really tasty. Prices are great, food is high quality and the presentation is excellent, and service is efficient and friendly.

New opening of a new vegan restaurant! I dined there on Mother's Day for brunch. The chilaquiles were fresh and delicious. My guests got the breakfast burrito and the biscuits and gravy with a side of hash browns. Oh and we can't forget the mimosas with fresh squeezed OJ! I have been longing to go back ever since! Go. Now!

Decided to go and try this restaurant after hearing great reviews. It did not disappoint. The service was amazing and the food was great. Only regret is not trying more things to taste. Definitely going back to try the breakfast items. You wouldn't know some of the items are vegan.

My husband and I ordered in to watch the premier of HOTD, we tried this place via UberEats. We love to support vegan restaurants so we were very hopeful. My husband loved the burger. There weren't a lot of fries but that's not a big deal. The tofu wasn't my favorite. It was a non pressed chunk of tofu that was unseasoned then battered and deep fried with a TON of salt. So I took two bites and had to toss it so that was disappointing. The pizza was good and I would order it again. The dough was very tasty and I did find myself savoring the crust. Finally, the beignets, it's hard to mess up fried dough. But I was underwhelmed. While they were good when I dipped them into the chocolate and the strawberries were ripe, alone they were deflated and kind of chewy. All in all, I would try this place again and order different things.

Drove 40 minutes from Chandler to try this place. We came for a date. One person's order arrived and we sit and wait for the second dish. After 35 minutes, the food that arrived is now cold. We sent it sent it back to reheat while we wait on the other dish) waitress says the second dish is on the way. Now they are about to close and we dont have any food. The owner/manager comes out and apologizes. To add discomfort to hunger, the musician they hired has given his guitar to a random bar patron, so now the 30 mins of music are crapola too. What is the deal here?

I am not a vegan or vegetarian and so I can't tell you whether or not the food is good. But based on all of the smiling faces, it probably is. However, what is great about this location? It's the customer service. I have nothing but amazing things to say about every single person I came in contact and one notable is Bruce. I want to thank Bruce for having great customer service and being knowledgeable about the suggestions he made to someone who has literally no experience whatsoever so my wife myself and our two friends wanted to say thank you. Vegan or not. Eat here! Oh, and by the way to the owner of this establishment, I have a great suggestion as a tagline for this restaurant. If you contact me, I'll give it to you for free lol I'm gonna trade mark it. lol and I'm serious
