"The appropriately-named Vegan Donut & Gelato quietly arrived this week at 16618 Clay Road, and it’s serving a menu of classic doughnut options that are entirely free of animal products. Traditional glazed and cake doughnuts, bear claws, apple fritters, and cinnamon rolls are on offer, along with doughnuts topped with Fruity Pebbles filled with lemon curd. It also appears that other non-doughnut, non-gelato options will be on the menu, including Chinese mooncakes and non-dairy milk to wash down all those sweets. Interestingly enough, there’s also a small savory side of the menu that serves vegan egg rolls, spring rolls, and fried rice. Bonus: pretty much everything on the menu is under $6. A representative for Vegan Donut & Gelato tells Eater that the shop is now open from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily." - Amy McCarthy

Hi There

Google
This place is really yummy and the staff is always nice. I'm a huge fan of all of their donuts and unfortunately, I don't have a favorite one since all the ones I have tried tasted delicious 😋🍩 I'm however, excited they added some entrees to the menu. The Vegan Orange Chikn' and the Crispy Burger are a must try 😋 They also offer a small pantry and freezer item section which is super convenient. I would definitely recommend visiting this donut shop 🌱😋

Google
We got there late today but they still had some vegan donuts left. I paid $17.50 for the box of donuts and the little dozen bag of donut holes. These have no egg or milk products in them. Perfect for my daughter that has severe allergies to eggs. Since the other vegan donut place closed down. Pretty sure because the servers were horrible. I had to find a different place for my daughter. She absolutely love the donuts here. I also got my donuts filled with Bavarian filling and chocolate frosting on top. They have 3 kinds of fillings, the other one was apple. I cannot remember the third one. They are so delicious. This is the second time getting donuts from here. Our next visit we will try their entries.

I chose to visit a charming, hidden donut shop on my way to my brother’s apartment early in the morning, motivated by the desire to surprise him with delightful treats. The experience filled me with joy as I savored the quality of the donuts and the warm customer service I received. The staff member’s offer to warm up my donuts added a touch of thoughtfulness that made my day even brighter. I wholeheartedly recommend this donut shop as a reminder of the small joys that life has to offer.

Google
this food slaps ✨!!! Y’all HAVE to try the fried rice!! The best thing about this establishment next to being fully vegan and having delicious food, are the prices. The prices are accessible to everyday people. As someone who’s been vegan for over 7 years, I haven’t eaten out much due to the “vegan tax”- as in, vegan specific food being more expensive due to novelty and convenience. Thank you for offering good food to the community!

Google
Love this place we were fans of loving huts and now the owner got this shop and they brought some plates which is awesome plus they have delicious donuts and kolaches

Google
I had no idea there was a vegan donut shop but today I saw it and just had to try it so me and my sister in law stopped by my son just had his 1st birthday yesterday and he is highly allergic to eggs so has never had donuts or anything with sugar as he is to small for sugar but wanted to get him a little donut for him to try for his birthday even though it said vegan I’m still very cautious and asked the employee about the donuts and let him know my son is allergic to eggs he assured me there is no eggs or diary . I liked that he wasn’t annoyed by my question even though it’s a vegan donut shop and was very friendly and made us feel welcomed. The donuts were delicious we went late in the day before he was closing so didn’t have much left but but they were still delicious and he did offer to make the donut for my niece who wanted a pink sprinkle donut. Will be going back

Google
I’ve loved this place ever since they’ve opened! It’s a local vegan spot that has the best donuts I’ve had with such a wide variety of flavors. I love the ham and cheese kolache and gelato as well.

Google
Vegan Donut & Gelato has always been a wonderful vegan restaurant. Everything we have ordered here has been delicious. The best part about it, though, are the people who run it. Vivian and Henry used to make the donuts, and always greeted us with a smile and kind words. Other members of their family have now taken over, and everything is still delicious and the people are still kind. They also have additional offerings that they previously served at Loving Hut. I highly recommend the BBQ baguette sandwich.

Allison N.

Yelp
It's all good here. Live this place! I have never tasted vegan donuts, this good They are soft and sweet. The cinnamon twist are good. The Apple fritters are also good. You can't go wrong at this place.

Gina N.

Yelp
Vegan Donuts is a must-visit. The owners are the sweetest people ever--super kind and helpful. I'll be honest, I didn't think I'd like vegan baked goods, but this place proved me so wrong. Everything here is absolutely delicious. Words like moist, flavorful, flaky, and fluffy come to mind when I think about the food I've had here. My favorite has to be the donut holes. The different color glaze are different flavors!! Highly, highly recommend even to those who are not vegan.

Heather R.

Yelp
The kolaches are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! Not only do they have great kolaches and donuts, the chef also makes an excellent fried rice. One of the best parts is the service. The owners are siblings and the sister always greets you with a genuine, warm smile. I wish there was a location in Houston so I could support more!

Jade P.

Yelp
Let me say I'm as far away from vegan as it gets. I am a full blooded Texan. I've probably eaten more meat than anyone you've met. My sister goes vegan for every Lent and even after the Lentil season we find ourselves pigging out here. Their donuts and kolaches are honestly better than most of the non vegan places. This is coming from someone who is lactose intolerant and still decides to destroy my insides with real milk and cheese. The fried rice here bangs and the only part of it that throws me off is the corn, green beans, and Lima beans in it. It isn't bad, but not what I am used to for rice. The bear claws here are massive and it looks more like a baseball glove. The beyond meat kolache has a good spice to it and everything is served hot. Please please get a filled donut. You won't regret it. If you are in the area (especially you guys going to court) please swing by this small business and try some of these goodies. You won't regret it!

Yelp
Recommend? Yes. Personally if I lived in Houston I would be willing to drive 45 minutes for this. I LOVE this place so much. It's so hard to find good donuts much more so for good VEGAN donuts. It's NOT the cake donuts so if that's what you're in search of, it's not here. It's soft, pillowy and thiccc. They also have kolaches. My favorite is the chorizo & jalapeño one. I honestly think if you're in the area just try it, even if you're not vegan/vegetarian.

Erica G.

Yelp
I'm going to say it first... I would have never thought that I would have had such a fond liking to a vegan spot, but here I am.. typing up a 5 star review. How times have changed... I loved the fact that this little spot is family owned and has been here since I could remember.. Years!! And have never stopped by to give this place a fair shot. Who would have thought this gal would be in a vegan donut shop ordering vegan chorizo kolaches. Although I have to admit.. I can definitely taste the difference... BUTTTT hear me out... Their Donuts that I ordered were super soft and almost melted in your mouth. It was very interesting especially vegan donuts do not have milk or eggs. It made me wonder how they made their bread so soft!? This shop is definitely a Marvel. Well I may not ever order any of their vegan kolaches again, but I will tear up their Donuts all day! So good. By the way, they have a collage of their dogs up on the wall and it's pretty much one of the cutest things I've ever seen in my life.

Nancy A.

Yelp
Such friendly owners helped me select the best choices for my vegan family members, and even gave me a warm donut for the road! The donuts were amazing, so soft and fresh and tasty! I would definitely return and highly recommend!

Amcam F.

Yelp
Amazing spot... total low key gem. Highly highly recommend the kolaches and the filled doughnuts. Very unassuming and has a small grocery section too.

Lauren P.

Yelp
Staff is friendly and courteous. The donuts and kolaches are amazing! Got orange donuts and a veggie dog. Plenty of seating and super clean. There's a whole freezer case of vegetarian/vegan food as well. Sorry for no pics - donuts were too tasty!!!

Gustavo G.

Yelp
Visited here after seeing the shop in passing, had one falafel & one soy chorizo kolache along with a donuts. Worked in a kolache shop before and these were amazing! Kolache dough was delicious along with the fillings & the donuts were soft but sprang back into place after a bite too!

Margie C.

Yelp
There's adequate choices to choose from. Friendly people. Glad to find a good vegan donut shop.

Elyse M.

Yelp
The doughnuts here are amazing! I got a couple different flavors and kolaches, all super yummy! The breading is really good, kind of fluffy and super tasty. The fillings are also delicious! The doughnuts tasted like normal doughnuts I used to have as a kid before I was vegan. So good! The staff is also super friendly, I came in Christmas Eve and they only had only doughnut left so I bought it (lol) and the lady said to congee back the next day so I did bright and early and she remembered me and was super sweet, just like the doughnuts! Super recommend!

Andrea U.

Yelp
The food is amazing! The dough was so fluffy and baked to perfection. My sister and I ordered the Cake doughnut, Soy chorizo ball, Tofurkey sausage, Ham and Cheese, and Donuts holes. Cake Doughnut (10/10): Did not expect the dough to be crispy and inner to be soft. The sugar coating was balanced well. Soy Chorizo Ball (9/10): This is my sister's favorite! The soy chorizo was so flavorful. Tofurkey sausage (8/10): The flavor was there, it would be better if it had more cheese Ham and Cheese (10/10): this one is my favorite! It had the right amount of cheese and ham inside a warm soft dough Doughnut holes (6/10): Honestly they're not bad, they just taste like regular doughnuts holes. If you're not vegan, I do not recommend ordering this. The reason why I gave the review 1 less star was because the man in the front gave me and the customers after a little attitude. I understand that customer service can be difficult at times (considering I work in customer service as well) but from the reviews it seems like it is a reoccurring incident. Overall this is my favorite breakfast shop to swing by and the owner is so sweet. Y'all should definitely support her!

Rachel P.

Yelp
The best donuts and the nicest staff ever!! Even my non-vegan friends love this place, 100% recommend to everyone!

Laporsha W.

Yelp
I just walked into this establishment to get a vegan breakfast. No one greeted me. No one came out to take my order so I walked out and left. I tried to call and ask what's going on and I was hung up on.

Todd M.

Yelp
I started my plant-based diet 10 months ago and this place is a find I have tofu, chorizo, kolaches and their fabulous. The people are really nice services great highly recommend it. They have a lot of vegan products almost like a small grocery store.

Eve H.

Yelp
Staff was so sweet and the donuts were so good! You absolute could not tell they were vegan! Will definitely be back :) I highly recommend the apple fri

Monique' M.

Yelp
Don't let the look of the donuts fool you! I arrived about 11a and the donuts looked dry. But I had just driven for about 45 minutes to get there so I was determined to leave with something. I chose the maple glazed donut, apple filled bear claw, chorizo kolache and tofurkey sausage kolache. The gentleman that assisted me warmed up the chorizo kolache for me. I ate the chorizo on my commute. It was delicious. Kind of sweet from the bun and savory from the filling. A Later, I ate the maple glazed donut. It was actually light and fluffy. It did not appear that way, so I was pleasantly surprised. A The next day I ate the apple filled bear claw, it was fluffy and filled adequately. B+ The tofurkey sausage kolache had jalapenos and cheese in it. It was supposed to have bacon as well, but I did not see or taste it. B I did not sample the gelato, so that will be my excuse to return.

Anna S.

Yelp
My daughter has a lactose allergy. This place was a nice treat for her and all of our family.

Starla W.

Yelp
Vegan Donut & Gelato is everything I have been looking for! Old fashioned donuts I have been enjoying since childhood with vegan flare! I am a plain Jane gal. I love. My plain glazed and old fashion donuts (sometimes referred to as sour cream). I got a half dozen so I could have some to enjoy over the Memorial holiday weekend and I am ashamed to admit I ate them all by the end of the day! Lol! It was a heavenly bit of nostalgia. If you want something a little fancier they have a great and vast assortment of donuts to choose from. They also have a great selection of delicious kolaches. I highly recommend this place! Is a local small business so even more reason to support.

Lady H.

Yelp
Love Love Love this place. I am going to try everything. Donuts Yum. Dried Mango slices best you can find around and cheaper than Amazon. Stay tuned for more as I try everything on the menu. Sad to tell you their closed on Mon and Tues.

Nancy T.

Yelp
My friend who is Vegan had been talking about this place and was so happy a Vegan shop had finally opened up in the area. And I had been meaning to check it out since my parents live so close. Well I finally made the drive. Well. More like I was visiting my parents in the AM and remembered that this place is nearby. When I came in, there was actually quite a bit of people coming in to buy Vegan donuts! Some were already having their breakfast at the tables! Its nice to see people in the area support local family owned business, especially vegan since there's not many. Upon walking in, I instantly got this Asian vibe home. If you know, you know. And it turns out, its owned by a Vietnamese family. Husband, wife, daughter at the front, and I'm assuming another family member at the back making magic donuts. I literally saw them bring out freshly made donuts out on trays. And every tray I saw, my eyes lit up. If you know me, you know that I LOVE Apple Fritters. You can thank my mom for having me growing up on them. And when I saw a fresh batch come out, I immediately told the man, I WANT TWO OF THOSE!! Along with pointing at the bear claw as well. I like that he was concerned cause he saw how hot and also how wet the glaze was on the Apple Fritters, and he didn't want to mess up the bear claw. So he carefully placed them in the box. I like that. They need bigger shelves! They kept coming out with fresh new batches of donuts and having to replace one tray for another. Each new batch I saw come out, I told them I wanted one. I even got two glazed donuts. I mean, who wouldn't want a fresh glazed donut? That's a classic. I ended up getting one of each flavor of Old Fashioned Cake donuts, two freshly made Apple Fritters, and two Glazed donuts, and one bear claw. That's a total of 11 donuts and I spent $22. Not bad not bad. I didn't want to wait so I instantly ate a Glazed donut in the car. You can't even tell a difference that its vegan! It was so good! A little more dense than your average yeast donut but nonetheless, still very good and melt in your mouth good. But the best part? THE APPLE FRITTER!!! It tasted the same. Crunchy outer layer, soft and melty donut texture on the inside, and tiny bits of apple. Though, I really wish the apple chunks were a lot bigger. I don't live in the area unless I'm visiting my parents. We normally go to Shipleys, but I think we'll be stopping here from now on. I definitely want to try the kolaches next!

Jessalin N.

Yelp
Love this place! Go there all the time. Strawberry gelato is my favorite and the lady behind the counter is always so nice! The Apple fritter is also amazing, and everything is so reasonably priced.

Alejandra P.

Yelp
We came here for vegan donuts that don't taste healthy or "vegan". That is what we got. These were fluffy, sweet, delicious, and just bomb. The way donuts are supposed to be. They open early which is nice. I love their options too! I will definitely be returning! Service was great and parking was accessible. Great prices for vegan donuts! Chocolate Sprinkle was my sons favorite!

Iris T.

Yelp
I'm not vegan but I love trying new food that I can have, because I'm vegetarian. My sister is vegan though and she LOVES donuts so she was excited to find vegan donuts... though it was a bit far for us. This was an interesting shop in an interesting looking center next to a very loud church. Absolutely no soundproof walls whatsoever. It's owned by a Vietnamese family; I know because they have the same wooden Mickey Mouse wall decoration that my dad brought back from Vietnam years ago. Oh, and they speak Vietnamese. They are pretty helpful. We came on a Saturday morning (before Christmas, so this is a late review, oops) around 10 am and they had a good amount of donuts but not all the flavors. I thought their current flavors weren't little though perhaps not of the special ones like hemp seed donuts. Their donuts are more cake-like and had a hint of their namesake flavor but not all that obvious. They're actually pretty good. The apple fritter reminded me the most of non-vegan donuts but was very sweet. The bear claw was like a bear claw that had been stung by a bee, but delicious. Donut holes are always my favorite. No light and yeasty donuts here but not bad, nonetheless. They offer vegan milk and juices to wash everything down and other sides like fried rice and even vegan kolaches. The hot dogs and sausages they use inside are sourced from the US, so we couldn't have them. We don't eat alliums (onion/garlic/leeks/chives) and American faux meats always use them. Oh well. That was actually what I was most interested in. All in all, not bad. A favorite? Hm, I still prefer yeasty donuts and it was a 40 minute drive. My favorite was probably the custard filled one. I honestly wonder how it's so custardy - I couldn't tell the difference! My 4 stars was due to that custard donut, haha. Yum! Now if I could have one of their kolaches....

Karen C.

Yelp
I can never get enough of this place, everything it's sooo good, my favorite ones are the glazed donut, you can't go wrong with that one, and the cherry one with sprinkles!!! They are super good and flavorful!!!! This place is an hour away from my home, and every time I go, it's worth the ride, never lets me down, I so recommend this place

Ellen C.

Yelp
Holy moly, another vegan doughnut place in town, what?!!!! What is this? Austin?! All jokes aside, vegan doughnuts/donuts man! Vegans need doughnuts too. We need love too! Do we not bleed when you cut us? Is anemia a concern when this happens? Well not for me (my hemoglobin is on fire!), but apparently "well-meaning" people always cite this concern whenever they discover I'm vegan, but like in a faux condescending "I would be vegan too but I don't think I'll receive sufficient nutrition, much like you" sort of way. Right, anyway . . . The doughnuts here are pretty freaking stupendous. Like as close to regular omnivore doughnuts as it can get. Honestly, my taste buds felt awfully conflicted, like these couldn't possibly be vegan, COULD THEY?!?! I can't accurately recall exactly what I ordered, but I did upload a photo. The old fashioned doughnut was my favorite and the husband also enjoyed it and said it tasted pretty dang similar to regular omnivore doughnuts. My least favorite was the cinnamon roll-esque one (at least I think that was what it was, I have no idea), only because I've had some pretty spectacular vegan cinnamon rolls in my time. Now I will say that I cannot attest to the generic "baked fresh daily" claim on the waxed paper pocket. There's so many different varieties of vegan doughnuts and if they are actually basked fresh daily, great. If not, I'm cool with it . . . can you maybe sense how doughnut deprived I've been all these years!

Dinh P.

Yelp
Yay for vegan donuts and kolaches! The donuts were crisp and perfectly fried on the outside and the kolaches were savory with the right amount of spice. These donuts taste better than non-vegan donuts. This is the perfect place to bring my family for when we want a sweet treat. They also sell vegan meat, milk, and snacks.

Sarah D.

Yelp
My favorite place to go in Houston! Amazing vegan selection and the kindest people. I recommend trying any of their kolaches or donuts if it is your first time. The cinnamon rolls here are some of my favorites, along with the donut holes. I will continue to support this wonderful vegan friendly business!

Gilbert G.

Yelp
Been eating here for years. My favorite combo is the Soyrizo Kolache, and cream filled anythin! The food is so fresh and tasty. And the owners and staff are so sweet and amazing. You will always feel warm and welcomed. To add to how great they are, they care so much for their community and give back a lot. So in love with Vegan Donuts and Gelato. 10/10 would recommend! IG is @vegandonutsgelato to keep up with them!

April J.

Yelp
I visited Houston for New Years and visited this business every day during my visit. Their donuts are so good. Their not super oily or coated with alot sugar to make them good They are fresh, tons of flavor and soft like a pillow! I wish they were in my city.

Terra R.

Yelp
This is my family's go-to spot for donuts and it's 21 minutes away. We drive by a TON of donut shops to get here, so that should tell you how good this place is Everyone is very friendly and patient, which helps when I'm there early in the morning and still a bit groggy. We get regular glazed donuts each time and they're the best!! I can't believe these donuts are vegan until I get to the register lol and then I'm reminded that the healthy stuff always tends to be a bit pricer, but these goodies are worth it. They also have soyrizo kolaches and other yummy items. I've heard their gelato is delicious, but haven't tried it myself. I plan to do that soon and will update this review when I do.

Jake P.

Yelp
Man O Man! This can't be real! An ALL VEGAN DONUT JOINT?!? This is the place to be when you have that donut & kolache cravings! My wife and I tried a handful of options and would get them again, 100% ACTUALLY... we ate in our car. left, got 2 miles down the street & said "should we go back and get more kolaches..?" YUP! And we did! We got -Chocolate & Blueberry Cake -Chocolate Sprinkle -Creme Filled -Apple Fritter -Kolaches: Bacon, Spicy Sausage / Falafel / Sausage So glad we made it out there.. can't wait to check back in!! -Wonderful customer service!! Thank you Vegan Donut & Gelato for all you do!

Jasmin G.

Yelp
This place is SO worth the drive! The donuts are divine, the kolaches are DELICIOUS, & my favorite, the apple fritters are AMAZING. I highly recommend this place!

Celine R.

Yelp
Amazing, to die for. The choices are delicious unique and the bear claw, mmmmm even egg rolls!! If you love to eat and want to save the planet come here (; #Veganbabies

Alyssa K.

Yelp
i love this place. it's my go to for vegan kolaches and donuts. I recommend the tofurky sausage kolaches with jalapeño. the people who work there are always so kind and patient. :)

Andrea-Stephanie Z.

Yelp
So I went in this morning around 7:45 due to an intense pregnancy craving and my local shop didn't have the orange or blueberry flavoring. After I ordered those two specific donuts, I went to pay for them and the lady at the front counter (one of the owners I presume) said I didn't meet the $5 credit card minimum and that I needed to spend more to be able to meet it. I asked her how much more I needed to meet the minimum and she told me if I purchased a half dozen I'd meet it. So I went ahead and purchased a half dozen only for her to print a receipt with a total of $12.50. I asked her what the price of each donut was and she replied that they were $2.25 a piece, meaning the two donuts I initially purchased met the $5 quota. I did confront her and asked her why she told me that I needed to spend more only to be met with a blank expression and that the donuts back to purchase more so I don't see what in lying to me was but to only purchase more donuts. If I had liked the donuts I obviously would've been back to purchase more. Extremely disappointing as I've never dealt with this kind of customer service from a mom and pop shop.

Sarah H.

Yelp
The donuts and kolaches are so good the first time I stopped in they were sold out! The next time I stopped in I definitely understood why. The donuts and kolaches are delicious!! I'll start with the kolaches. I tried the sausage jalapeño and cheese kolache (all vegan) and it did not disappoint. I think it would be bland without the jalapeños but with the jalapeño it was delicious. Even a non vegan I went with said it was very good. The bread on the outside is a little different (maybe more like a crust?) than a regular kolache but not disappointing at all. The donuts are my absolute weakness. I have tried the glazed, the strawberry jelly filled, the cinnamon crumble, the cookies and creme, and the chocolate covered vanilla cake donut. Not a single one has disappointed me! They have all been full of flavor and incredible texture. The strawberry jelly filled and the cinnamon crumble are definitely my top 2 and I highly recommend! They are very nice inside and the price is similar to if not the same as a regular donut shop. I drive nearly 25 minutes to get vegan donuts and will continue to come here for my sugary breakfast needs! I can only hope they add gluten free donuts soon.

Mandy H.

Yelp
The donuts are pillowy with a satisfying chew to them. They aren't over-the-top sugary. Also tried the vegan egg rolls and the fried rice -- both very good. The lady is very sweet and while the space is small, the atmosphere is open and clean. If I lived closer, I'd be a regular customer. :) It's a total bonus that everything is vegan.

Alivia D.

Yelp
They have the best vegan donuts and it's almost impossible to find vegan kolaches. Please note the prices are different from the menu from GPS/yelp. I hope they change it online so no one is surprised by some changes. Over all amazing fried rice, spring rolls, and sweets!!! Go early because they will sell out of many items before noon.

MJ G.

Yelp
I love this place it's just a little out of the way from my morning drive. I wish they had Vietnamese coffee!

Natasha G.

Yelp
Delicious donuts!!! When I knew I'd be visiting the Houston area, I made sure to look up bakeries and donut shops. I heard about the infamous Shipley's, but a vegan gyal like me wanted something suitable for my vegan tastebuds. Once I found out about Vegan Donut & Gelato on Instagram, I searched on here to save it to my Houston bookmark. These donuts were SO moist and delicious! My favorite was the taro glazed and blueberry cake (not pictured but we came back the next day to take some home to our babies). The crumb donut was yummy as well but it was my husbands favorite, so I barely got one full bite. The staff, though there was a language barrier, was courteous and as helpful as they could be to make sure we got exactly what we wanted and left satisfied. The price was very affordable as well! Back in Florida, half a dozen of vegan donuts coat well over $12 dollars. When we get the chance to come back, we'll be paring them another visit!

Fiona Y.

Yelp
Wow, these vegan donuts are so tasty. Unbelievable delicious. I tried their glazed donuts, cinnamon rolls and the vegan kolaches filled with tofuky sausage, vegan cheese and jalapeños. There's no way I will go back to the meat filled kolaches. The couple running this place is the nicest people I've evet met. They're so attentive and very polite. If you're a vegan lover, this is the place for you.

Jeanette R.

Yelp
So good! They even have kolaches. We will be back! We got two green tea glazed, blueberry cake, two coconut donuts.

Alex D.

Yelp
The donuts made my day. They were warm and soft. I loved the almond topping and blueberry glazing. Will come back to try their vegan kolaches. The staff was super sweet too!

Joshua M.

Yelp
My friend is a vegan, and she bugged me to try these donuts for MONTHS. I obviously never made the chose to stupidly, so she surprised me when donuts one morning. I got to say, they are pretty phenomenal, and I'm sad I slept on em for so long. Definitely give them a shot if you're on the fence

Mary M.

Yelp
I can tell you that we have been back multiple time since our first time and have tried so many other varieties of items..one of my favorite items which was added to the menu is the vegan kolaches. Im more of a savory breakfast person and I can tell you these hit the spot. They again are so YUMMY and taste the closest to what I grew up on. They also cater if you need to do any special ordered! We special ordered of course kolaches and donuts for an event and even our nonvegan friends had no clue these were vegan...YES that good!! The owners are super super sweet and friendly so please support these business and other vegan businesses in Houston.

Lindsey D.

Yelp
Came in town to visit family and made the 30 minute drive to try this place. #worthit Delicious selection of classic and fun flavors and omg the soy chorizo kolache with jalapeño was excellent! I love being able to go in a donut shop and pick any of them, instead of having 1 vegan option. Got some fried rice and eggrolls for lunch and they made it for us to go while we ate the donuts :)

Yelp
Great donuts LOVE the blueberry cake. Unfortunately I have an almond allergy so I haven't tired the gelato but my gf enjoyed it. I try and stop there at least once a week
