Cute space that used to be another vegan establishment has now been filled with all the sweets and some coffee. It's a bakery first with some coffee, and that is not a bad thing! If you want some sweet vegan baking that focuses on the baking, you'll be happy as a clam here.
It's all vegan, so bring anyone who likes sweets. They have gluten free items, and there is an allergen list (soy and nuts) by the counter/ display. The people here are helpful and friendly (because when you work in a vegan sweet shop, you're going to be sweet!), so ask questions if you have any. Plenty of seating in a quiet ambiance with wood furniture and simple decor. Bus your own tables, fill up with a glass of water to stay hydrated, and don't forget to come back.
The cinnamon rolls are lovely if you have the regular or gluten free. They ooze with cinnamon gooodness and melt with the icing on top. The cookies look standard, not that exciting, but the cupcakes look fun! They're edible fun! What could be better than a nice, decorative cupcake just for you to make your day better? Try some cheesecake and a cup of coffee if that's your thing. You'll be happier if you order more than one item, or you'll regret it later.
Nice moisture content for gluten free items - that means they aren't crumbling apart in your mouth or on your fork, they're solid. Texture is good, but if you have a discerning palate, you do notice the lack of gluten. However, nothing detracts from the flavors and mouth happiness! I like he cupcake with all its parts- the frosting, raspberry and chocolate cake. The parts alone are decent but all together is the chef d'oeuvre- eat it the way it was meant to be eaten and feel happy! I know I feel happier!
