This place is a Portland treasure! Tasty food that will satisfy even the pickiest of Vegans and Omnivores alike. Hip yet cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, full bar and they are open late! They easily have the best fresh hand dipped Vegan Corndogs on the planet! These are seriously addictive and are a must try! We liked their house made Vegan Chicken Sandwich which had a wonderful crispy breading and the house made Smash Burger which had a great chomp. The buns they use on their sandwiches are exceptional and taste very fresh. They give you a huge portion of fresh crispy crinkle cut fries when ordered as a meal. Their house made poutine and dipping sauces are also absolutely incredible. Can’t want to go back for more!

If only I posted this sooner. My girlfriend and I frequent vegan restaurants across the country. During a massive snowstorm, everyone and everything freaked out and closed down but not this place! It was like destiny to find it after several failed attempts elsewhere. Our experience here was bar none one of the top, yes the food was good though the service and chatting with the owner made it enjoyable. We learned so much about the establishment and more he's very transparent and down to earth. This place is meant to cater to those who are not vegan yet a splurge of a delight for when you are in the mood for junk food. I think homemade with a fair describes it better. I know many good things are to come for this place and I hope we can return next time we are in the area. Almost everything ordered here was delicious, I didn't fancy the Loco moco being spoiled in Hawai'i but it satisfied the craving once I saw it, out of everything we had (which was a lot) this is the only thing that I think could use improvements. Yet, this isn't meant for any discouragement because you should honestly go here like yesterday. The owner cares about the community and workers, and as a chef has created an amazing menu. Be there!

Google
I had the pulled jackfruit sandwich and the herbivore fries...OMG so good! Those fries are meant to share with like 3 other people, they are so big! Food was great! I got a dream cake slice of the coconut lime and it was divine! Husband got the garlic bread and spicy chicken sandwich. He really enjoyed them both

Google
Food was good! You can pull up scan your placard and get your food, you can dine in, you can order with them or sit at the table and order. It was a good vibe. Staff was having a good time while we were there, that's always nice to see and hear. We could not eat it all, took A Lot home lol. So many options, I have to come back to try more! 9/10

Google
The vibe of this place is fantastic. Seriously ultra comfortable! Counter service is a huge plus, clear area to order from. The menu had a lot of options! Food was great, vegan and Junkfood seriously just as advertised!!! It hit all the comfort food buttons.

Google
Super tasty vegan food! I had the bbq pulled jackfruit sandwich and it was really good! The bbq sauce is a little too smoky for me, but still so delicious. Also got loaded fries which were amazing, and their ‘cheese sauce’ was really good and their ranch is the besttttt. Can’t wait to come back :) I’d like to try one of their Hawaiian plates next. I also like the restaurant itself. We came when it was dark and sat a booth away from the window and I honestly felt like I was in a movie lol

Google
The place looks sketchy at first glance at 9 pm, but come inside, it's cute, cozy and the food IS SO BOMB! vegan or not the best corn dog you will ever eat. The fries are disgusting for how good they are and the burgers you'll inhale. If you're in Portland and want good food a vegan or not. Come eat here. Prices are crazy low too

charles morales

Google
THIS IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST VEGAN FOOD I HAVE EVER HAD!!! Will be my new weekly stop. Better corn dogs than the freakin fair, legit amazing. I had someone visit me for five days a couple days ago and we ended up going 3-4 times BEST VEGAN JUNK FOOD EVERRRRRR!

Carlee M.

Yelp
the vegan comfort food here is just done so well! cute lil diner set up (disco ball and all) w a dedicated parking area. order at the counter. they have plenty of diner booth & bar seating. staff was super friendly & service was speedy. they're also open until 2 am thursday through sunday, sooo you could get yourself a late night snack and feel like you're eating healthy bc it's vegan lol. they're serving up everything from classic american junk food (fries & burgers) to hawaiian and mexican options. was a little thrown off, but I'm here for it. we ordered: - herbivore style fries: controversial opinion but idc, these are better than the animal style fries at in-n-out imo. fries were cooked well & were crispayyyy. - california smash burger: guac & toasted bread, such a stellar combo. - moko loko plate w mac salad: vegan take on the local hawaiian classic. this hit the spot ngl. - dirty chai cake shake: perf for this dairy sensitive girly. they change their cakes frequently, so you can always get something new! hours on google/yelp weren't updated, so we got there before it opened. make sure to check their website for current hours!

Jon R.

Yelp
Holy crap, why is this only in Portland! Vegan junk food and fair style corn dogs that are too good! I have never had a corndog with such a light and fluffy corn meal! And the dog was super tasty!!!! Best vegan condos, ever! The nachos were loaded and stacked, the vegan sour cream tasted real even to my wife who isn't vegan, and the roasted green salsa was great for not being a Latino restaurant. I can't wait to go back and try the vegan smash burger, done in that hurry up and hang out restaurant style......

Yelp
Meh. I'm a very big critic of french fries. Don't serve me old grease fries. Don't serve me soggy fries. I worked at a fast food drive thru chain in FL as my first job. I know what old oil tastes like and how to make a great fry. These curly fries were gross. Very old grease and I tasted it immediately. I know that changing out the oil sucks, but it also tastes awful when it's old. I didn't want to load up on food as we came dke a quick snack, not my choice, but my husband chose this. I was disappointed. He got the corn dog, and that redeemed the food a bit for me, as it was pretty tasty and cooked perfectly. That is one star, the other is service and a cute diner vibe. I so badly wanted to love it, but it missed the mark entirely. I will absolutely give it another shot but I sincerely hope they switch the oil out.

Julie B.

Yelp
I came here for the first time since going vegan, even though in my neighborhood. So pleasantly surprised and happy I went in. The owner is Amazing along with the food. Not sure what the negative reviews are about, it was fantastic! The best vegan cheese and chicken I've had to date and the chocolate cake was moist and almost better than the real thing. I will definitely be a regular here and so should you. We don't want to lose our cool Portland Vegan places, you may need it one day

Leah H.

Yelp
Never had any problems with them! Portions are incredible, food tastes really good, really classic, love it! I've thought about them regularly since they temporarily closed, and am very hopeful and excited for them to return! Come here if you want some warm, tasty comfort foods.

Jennifer L.

Yelp
If you want to keep it vegan while enjoying junk food this is a great place for that. They have quite a variety to choose from, which honestly makes it hard for me. The smashburgers are really tasty and they have different styles to choose from. Maybe I'm just used to vegan foods, but I don't think there's any real difference in flavor or texture to a regular burger. I love that they offer tots as a side as well as mac salad. My partner did not like the mac salad though, I guess not enough flavor. I will say I was okay with it, but it's less flavorful than even standard Hawaiian mac salad. The sides are very plentiful too. Other items like the crunchwrap also make for good munchie junk food (although some salsa for my chips would be nice). With hotdogs, corndogs, and such there is just so much to enjoy. It's nice to be able to eat "junk food" while still easily keeping it vegan.

None Y.

Yelp
I really wish I could rate this place highly. It's a good concept, and this part of town could use more vegan options (speaking as an omnivore here). However, everything I've had here was over-salted (and I love salt), and overall unappetizing. It's fairly expensive for what you get, but the main issue is I've been here two or three times and nothing was exactly delicious. As someone who has a serious soft spot for American style trash drive-thru food, this scratches none of that itch. When I had the mac salad, it was literally too salty to eat. The atmosphere is fairly decent, although you can kind of tell they don't want people eating inside if they can avoid it. The service has been decidedly meh for me. Like, not actively rude, but kind of attractive 20 something's that are more concerned with conversing among themselves.

Ashley F.

Yelp
Was really hopeful for this place. Ordered the Mac n chz, was fine, just hella oregano, could use less -or none- because it over takes any other possible flavor and this isn't traditional or expected when ordering Mac n chz. The bummer was the Loco Moco. The rice was undercooked and hard. They must not know how to cook rice, and didn't bother to even look at it before serving which Idk how a "cook" does that. The vegan patties and gravy with it were decent. I ordered a strawberry shake but got vanilla, but the server fixed it when I mentioned it. I will come back to try again and mention the rice, but how many people is this happening to? And for $15 each dish it's not super cheap so, just a waste. Could be better.

Jeannie D.

Yelp
Already decided next time, we are sharing the shake, and fries :) This is JUNK FOOD. It's literally fast food that is vegan. I can't understand the awful reviews. It's not a place to go because you think it's vegan so it must be healthy. (Insert eye roll) Eaten here twice, both times the food was great. It's not a place I'd go to super often, but it's a great treat. It's an old school fast food restaurant vibe. They do have a small parking lot. The employee working wasn't overly friendly but not rude either. It's fast food man, liken it to a Burger King or A&W and leave an honest review.

Dylan H.

Yelp
One of my favorite spots for vegan food in Portland. I love the diner vibes and the staff is always friendly. Food is a great value and super tasty. I love the Crunchwrap superior, chili dogs, and tofu katsu!

Marc F.

Yelp
I heard that you've settled down That you found a Grill and you're open now Cuisine dreams coming true Someone likes you, Adele ensues Zeastar Hawaiian, Rebellyous Nuggies Comfy Junk when Portland's muggy I have a tongue to taste, not to bite it I could say "yay!" or I could write it I hope you decorate and that we're reminded What we all need is a diner Daily grind, I find Vegan Junk Food I wish nothing but the best for you Roasted Broccoli, I beg I remember you said, "Sometimes a Smash Beyond, sometimes a Crunchywrap you're fed, Sometimes it's Monk Junk but sometimes it's Punk Junk homestead."

Laura N.

Yelp
So after passing this place several dozen times, I decided to try it. I got the California Smash burger for me and a chocolate oreo shake for my teen. While this in NO WAY could be called "healthy," it is delicious. Even my teen had no idea the shake was vegan. The burger was very flavorful, although the patty a little softer texture than I had expected (compared to other vegan patties, but it held up well despite this. Staff was very friendly and got the order right. I did go through the drive-through. It's set up differently than other fast food places. You order, then they give you a number and you park next door at the restaurant, and there was plenty of parking. It took a little longer than your average drive-through, but it was worth it for the quality and flavors. I will be back when I have a craving for some delicious "junk food" although I will probably try the restaurant.

Melina B.

Yelp
We were wanting to try this place for a while and completely forgot to check Yelp but now I kind of understand some of the low ratings. We got the animal style burger (i forget their version's name, but essentially that's what it was) and the California burger, the nuggets value meal, corn dogs, Oreo milkshake, and some extra fries. The California burger was okay. The patty didn't have a ton of flavor. The guacamole tastes like those store bought guacamoles with just avocado. I remember Red Robin's guac having freshness with chunks of tomato and onion. Way more flavor, freshness and substance than the one they had. The animal style burger was almost inedible. My husband couldn't even finish it. It looked like the patty was way undercooked. Mushy, grainy, and flavorless. Fries were okay, but definitely needed salt. They just tasted like grease, which I'm fine with but I want some salt with that grease. Milkshake was okay too. We were a little late to pick up and while the milkshake looked like it was kept in a fridge, it was room temp, melted and frothy. That very well could have been our fault though. The nuggets were also okay. Gardein or the Yummy ones are much more preferred. The corn dogs saved this meal. Big, satisfying, sweet, savory, and hearty. I really enjoyed them. I really wanted to like this place. I bounced back between 2 and 3 stars, but I really like what they've tried to do here. To have an all vegan fast food diner type place is super cool. It was pretty out of the way as we came from Vancouver to try it so the likelihood of returning is slim. Food was underwhelming overall to say the least, but perhaps if we were in the neighborhood, we may pick up a corn dog or two.

Lilac H.

Yelp
So disappointed in the quality of this food. The curly fries are rock hard and basically hollow. The corn dogs are inedible, they're grainy and the flavor of the hot dog is extremely off putting. The cheese fries and burger have no flavor. Overall very disappointing.

Dawn T.

Yelp
I had the corn dog value meal (2 corn dogs, curly fries and a soda) and it was so delicious. It's a lot of food, totally could share next time! The staff was friendly and the spot has a real retro feel. I would definitely come back.

Venus S.

Yelp
Love the ambiance...personable service. They really should use beyond beef Patties, as their burger Pattie's are very mushy...but the shakes and fries are great...the Carmelized onions taste like sugar was added tho, I don't like sugar added to savory foods. Cheese sauce does not taste like cheese, more like thousand island sauce. They should add nutritional yeast to it. I might go back for the shakes...maybe try the chili fries

Ashley B.

Yelp
I'm really bummed. Everything I had here was gross. It was all pretty flavorless, plain and mushy. The burger was mush, the Mac salad was mushy and way to vinegary, the chili had zero to no flavor. All for like $30.

Erika A.

Yelp
The reviews on this restaurant are BONKERS. One woman said she wouldn't recommend this place even if someone was starving and had no other choice -- what a 1) stunningly privileged, 2) horrifyingly ignorant, and 3) simply wrong thing to say. First things first: the place is called Vegan Junk Food and that's exactly what it is. It's not called Exquisite Gourmet Fine Dining Experience, so check your expectations. That being said, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience! A solid 4 stars. It's so fun to go to a fast food type restaurant where I can eat everything, and I admittedly got out of hand! I got the California Smash Burger with curly fries (and a value corn dog on the side.) The burger was delicious! Loved the fake bacon. My only "complaint" was that it was super messy to eat. The curly fries were cooked to perfection. (But the side portions are MASSIVE. Definitely large enough for at least 2 people.) The corn dog was also super tasty! My husband got the Chili Smash Burger with cheese tots. He also loved it! I will definitely return. There are so many more things I wanna try!

Laura L.

Yelp
Lives up to its name! Ordered the Smash burger and spicy Chicken Parm, cheese fries and Choco shake with Oreos and Crackerjack. Yes I was hungry when I ordered. I demolished the Smash burger right away. It was a perfect blend of solid bun, fresh pickles, tomato, shaved lettuce, cheese and gooey condiments. The fries were a bit underdone but a full order is like 5 lbs of fries! The cheese sauce is on the side and it was so good - it had a little something extra that made it extra savory. And that shake- dark and chocolatey, the Oreos were not mushy at all, and the Cracker Jack added a hint of salted caramel. The chicken Parm received rave reviews. I was so full I had to work on that shake over the course of the evening. So good.

Will S.

Yelp
This was everything I was hoping it would be. It's what the sign says "vegan junk food" and it's delicious. The flavors and everything are exactly what I was looking for. I will definitely be coming back soon.

Maria S.

Yelp
I wanted to buy a piece of cake for my birthday and didn't want to be disappointed so I called several times in the days before. No one ever answered and there's no outgoing voicemail. So I went by in person and found the door unlocked and entered. Instead of "hello" I heard "WE'RE CLOSED!". I was confused by their website and said so. I was told "it says so on our sign by the door". This man wins the award for being correct, congratulations! I begged to buy a piece of cake to go, even saying it was my birthday. Instead of hearing "happy birthday", I heard "RED VELVET $9" while he practically slammed it on the counter. I went ahead and bought it and it was delicious but the whole exchange left such a terrible taste in my mouth, I will not be visiting it or recommending it to friends in the area. The way you treat your customers matters a lot. The saddest part is that this hipster oddity has replaced an old favorite restaurant where no matter how busy they were, you were always greeted politely on entering, one of the most important things in a service atmosphere if you ask me.

Kilani G.

Yelp
Not many reviews to go off of, but most of them hold the staff in low regard so I completely bypassed this by ordering online! It's pricey. Averaging $12-16 for an entree item and $8+ for shakes. I've tried the Kailua burger and the Herbivore, as well as a chocolate shake with add ons. I believe without a doubt, this is one of the better veggie burgers I've had. Like juicy and hearty, stacked with goodness and hard to put down. I even had a side of broccoli( I don't understand why I made the choice either) but even this was well seasoned and lightly oiled. The shake was creamy and reminded me of a vegan McFlurry. So order online from their website, don't deal with the customer service apparently and eat some dang good vegan food.

Ruby S.

Yelp
Very yummy spot! I got the Mac Salad and it was delish. The spicy chicken sandwich was greasy but that's what I wanted on a hungover day. It tasted delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful! So happy this place is so close to me so I can try everything on the menu! :D

hannah j.

Yelp
If I could rate this place higher I would. As someone who can't have dairy, it makes me so happy to have a place offer such a wide variety of yummy foods. The milkshakes and herbivore fries are my personal favorite. The staff is incredibly friendly every time I come in.

Nancy B.

Yelp
Food is great if you're in the mood for vegan hot dogs and burgers and the sticky booths with ketchup dispensers bring a certain comfort like being in a Denny's as a kid. Service is a bit lacking, and when we were there they delivered our food to other tables and vice versa multiple times. Impossible to get napkins, utensils, etc. but maybe that's part is the charm?

Morgan M.

Yelp
First time here, visiting from Vancouver, BC. Even though I was 20 minutes late to pick up my food, it was still warm and delicious! By far the best spicy chicken burger I've had, vegan or otherwise. The fries were nicely seasoned and tasty! Highly recommend checking it out!

Briana E.

Yelp
Name says it all. If you miss the feeling of being hungover & needing to stuff your face with filth, anything from here will do. (Filth, in this case, is the most decadent, delicious, creamy, messy, and delicious foods) I've tried most things on the menu and never disappointed.

Joanna M.

Yelp
New spot dropped into the old Portland staple, Diane's - I can say this is a major upgrade! Love that they kept the old school dinner vibe without compromising on their personal style and kitschy touches! Came in late on a Thursday night and was warmly welcomed - the place was quiet, clean, and warm. Food? Well - I can say that I was blown away - I ordered the corndogs and a side of the mac salad. The mac salad was MASSIVE and seasoned so well; honestly the best mac salad I have had in years - vegan or not. Corn dogs were amazing - well breaded and piping hot - not to mentioned the well cooked and delicious fries that came with it. My partner got the Kailua burger - beyond patty was amazing - smashed just right, crisp outer edges, well grilled pineapple and a dope teriyaki sauce. The prices are right in line with how much food you get! Everything is made to share (or could be) - bring your appetite! I can't wait to try all the other lovely sounding foods on the menu. So happy to have this new vegan dinner in my hood!

Zuli D.

Yelp
Love the "trashy" theme of the menu. The burger was really good, the flavors of the teriyaki sauce were amazing! The chicken sandwich wasn't very spicy but the patty was still yummy. Fries and tots were crispy, would definitely order from here again. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu.

Patrick M.

Yelp
I ordered this via a delivery service, so I understand the quality takes a hit as it sits in a strangers car. That said, the corn dogs were soggy as their box just is the perfect way to let a nice crust sit and be soggy. The fries were some of the worst fries I have had all year and makes me believe they were under-cooked. The cheese pizza was 3/5 and had a nice parmesan flavor but felt more so meant for a child. I would skip it and order Thai.

La Z.

Yelp
If you want to junk out, this is the place. You will feel stuffed and your belly will regret 1/3 of what you ate. However, your taste buds and brain will thank you. The flavors are great. Bring your carnivore friends! The chili cheese fries are huge!!! Do not order 2 burgers and chili cheese fries between 2 people!! It really was good. There are 2 buildings in the same parking lot: 1 is the drive through, the other is the sit down diner.

Star J.

Yelp
Ok I literally downloaded yelp so I could write this review- I'm not trying to be rude or mean I feel like I'm not usually a picky eater. But omg my food was so bad! I had the burger but it was bean mush. Like literally watery beans and soggy - it was also so bland ommmg. I literally got home and put old bay, ketchup and hot sauce on it lmaooo and that didn't even help. Like no offense but eating it started to make me feel nauseous I had to throw it out. Also super bummed cause it's expensive. Please improve and don't charge ppl this much for food especially if it's this bad. Not trying to be rude I'm sorry I would never write this if it wasn't this bad. Like I'm in disbelief

David B.

Yelp
I have given this place two chances and both times the food sucked. I really, really want to like it... If you want a good vegan smash burger go to Monster Smash. Other better options would be Killer Burger, Next Level, Mike's, etc. The food was just bad. Bad flavor and bad texture. Their fake bacon is super gross, nowhere near as good as some of the things you can get at the grocery store. The fries are OK but not worth a trip.

Cassidy V.

Yelp
This place is my DREAM restaurant. I have been plant-based since 2018 and sometimes miss the convenience of a fast-food run without worrying about what I'm going to order. And when I'm in a fast-food mood, I want to eat trash! Not a salad, veggie wrap, "health bowl", etc. .... as those are usually the only vegan options at restaurants. Vegan Junk Food is a literal holy grail food option that allows you to eat vegan, greasy, delicious, comfort food and skip the salad! PLUS THEY HAVE A DRIVE-THRU! Favorites: Spicy Chickn Sandwich, Curly Fries, Roasted Broccoli, Chocolate Shake, Garlic Bread w Cheese, Zalmon Poke Bowl I sincerely hope to see more locations open up in the future!! I'm so grateful that this place exists.

George A.

Yelp
I really wanted to love this joint so I ordered from them on two separate occasions because the menu and concept sounds delicious but the execution has been so poor. I've tried the corn dogs, spicy fried chicken sandwich, and tofu katsu plate. The corn dogs where soggy and oily. My expectation was for them to at least be as good as baked frozen corn dogs. The tofu katsu was good but I found the sauce to be too acidic and the Mac salad tasted like cardboard. The spicy chicken sandwich was ok but too greasy. I could not finish the corn dogs or Mac salad which is unusual for me because I am not a picky eater and will eat cheap, junk food, but those items were literally trash. Not sure if they need to hire better cooks or just refine their menu but I will not be eating here again

Erika B.

Yelp
Vegan junk food never disappoints! Staff is very helpful with recommendations and explaining ingredients. Cute diner vibes!

Marvin S.

Yelp
Bruv, just gross. I'm a vegan and would rather have Mediterranean food or Burger King next door. Hawaiian Mac salad, taste like a fridge. Spicy chicken, taste like high school but also drenched in frying oil. They gave me too much curly fries. corn dogs taste aight. I should've gone somewhere else. They forgot the cutlery, and ketchup. There white, so they gave me the white people ketchup. Ya know! The one that ain't spicy . Terrible. They weren't lying when they said vegan junk food. STRAIGHT GARBO, I WAS LOOKING FOR A NOCE MEAL.

Joe R.

Yelp
I drove the half hour because their newest Instagram post was a Philly special. Unfortunately it had been replaced by a new special which should have been posted so customers were aware. I tried it (a tofu blt) and it was almost inedible. The tofu was mushy and tasted like it had been cooked in liquid smoke. The bread was barely toasted and it just didn't have any flavor. With that said, in the past when they were on Interstate I enjoyed the food several times. I think I just had an unlucky trip there. Was really looking forward to that Philly..

Rhonda R.

Yelp
I seriously don't understand the low ratings on this place! My mom and I discovered it a few weeks ago and were hooked from the beginning. Fine dining? No. And since you order on your phone using the QR codes at the table, it took our third visit before staff actually spoke to us (yes, we've gone back weekly!) - but is that what you go for? Service? Atmosphere? NO! You go for the amazing out of this world food! The prices are a bit high - but the portions are HUGE - easily split between 2-3 people. My favorite item by far is their corn dog - I nearly had a food-gasm on the first bite! I get one every time as well as trying something new. Fast food for vegans! If you've been craving burgers, corn dogs, fries, and more - check this place out!

Kaija J.

Yelp
It's great they give students a discount. I ordered the chicken sandwich value meal. It was definitely a lot of food. The curly fries were great (4 stars) but the chicken sandwich was "meh". And while, if I were a student with my gaggle of friends and we shared the fries, that also would be great. However, I could only eat about 1/3 of the fries. I hate to waste food, but now what do I do? In retrospect I wish I'd gotten the loaded fries. I'd like to see 2 sizes of fries so one need not waste food. I might try again and see if I can up my rating.

Kali P.

Yelp
The two stars is for the food. I've been to both locations multiple times and every single time the staff is really rude for zero reason. I'll spend my money someplace else. I'm not gonna keep paying y'all to ruin my day.

Tina T.

Yelp
Really wanted to like this place but ultimately the service and food left much to be desired...upon sitting down we scanned the QR code for the menu, I wanted to try their cake shake and had seen on social media that there was a seasonal red velvet flavor. I didn't specifically see that flavor on the menu so I went to the counter to ask about it. The employee seemed very inconvenienced by my question and rudely responded, "it's on there." I calmly pointed out that it wasn't and received an eye roll- not sure what was up with the attitude, since I tried to be polite about it and it wasn't a busy night at all...so it's not like I was inconveniencing her that much by asking a simple question? My bf and I got the spicy chicken sandwiches which were just alright. We both ordered fries for the side and they came with a lot, which is cool, but it was pretty bland tasting. The best thing was probably the milkshake, but it wasn't worth $10. It was served in a coke fountain drink cup too, which just seems a little lazy in my opinion? Chicken sandwiches were $14 each and including the shake and a 20% tip the total came out to be $45. I really don't think the quality of the food justifies the expensive price at all. Like I said, I really wanted to like this place because the concept is interesting, but ultimately found it to be lacking in too many ways. If they worked more on their branding, the food itself, and tried to actually be nice to their customers, I think they have the potential to possibly be a great restaurant.

Yelp
The corn dog and curly fry's where pretty good. I don't think anything mind blowing but if I was in the area and was craving a vegan corn dog I would come back. The Hawaiian Mac Salad on the other hand had ZERO flavor and tasted like watery noodles. Save yourself the $6 and skip the Mac salad.

Yelp
I was hesitant going here after the bad reviews but I still decided to check it out one night for dinner. I was pleasantly surprised that everything we got was pretty dang good and especially for the price! I got the corn dog, crispy chicken sandwich, chicken nuggets meal, Birria taco, and a chocolate vanilla milkshake. The chicken nuggets were my fav because they literally tasted just like Burger King or McDonald's.. I'll definitely be back. My least favorite was the chicken sandwich, it tasted okay but I'll probably just get something else next time. Overall a good experience!

Yelp
first time coming and last. was super excited about this place and spent over $50. i watched the kitchen staff prepare food and not one of them was wearing gloves. i saw one person grab bare handfuls of french fries and dump them into serving trays for orders over and over again. when my food came it was all VERY cold, like room temperature. very disappointing. :(

Yelp
We were excited about the new vegan restaurant, and the menu was enticing. It turned out to be awful. I had the salmon poke bowl. It could have been pretty good but the brown rice was largely uncooked. It wouldn't have been too big an issue if fully 75% of the dish wasn't uncooked brown rice. I had a side of Hawaiian macaroni salad. The side could have been a side for four people. The macaroni was very overcooked, badly seasoned, and there was hardly any shaved carrot in it. It left me feeling nauseous. They have barely done any renovating of the previous restaurant, so the ambiance leaves you feeling like you're eating your last meal at an abandoned truck stop. Lastly, the food is expensive, so you leave feeling like you've been mugged. Avoid this place.

Yelp
I finally was in Portland and was looking forward to trying this restaurant, unfortunately it was terrible. I spent over $60, and each person I was with, including myself could not finish our meal, it was that bland and mushy. The flavors were odd and the food was very disappointing. I have been vegan for 10 years, so I am not a stranger to vegan food. We got the Loco moco, which consisted of two bland mushy patties and very bad gravy. A spicy chicken sandwich, which the person did not finish because it also was a weird mushy texture and a burger (see loco moco). I hate to give a bad review, because we need more vegan restaurants, but this was just bad.

Yelp
I get that people are saying "this is junk food! It's supposed to be like junk food!" but junk food doesn't usually taste bad, it's just not good for you. Unfortunately, this food was not very good in any capacity. I had expectations that the food would be on par with fast food going into my order based on reviews. But the real issue is that the food just isn't good. This place really needs to evaluate what they're doing and make some adjustments.

Yelp
The staff was cold for no reason so I didn't feel comfortable in there. No smiles. Waitress threw my food in front of me, could barely hear her talk over the music. Food was meh. Place was pretty empty and looked dirty. It wasn't worth it.
