Vegan Mob

How Exciting!!! My daughter been wanting to try this place for a while and I told her I was totally down for it. It just took her a while to finally be ready to roll out. Great Hospitality, Knowledgeable Staff Regarding The Menu, Cool Food Specials Offered Regularly. When we went it was the Vegan Mob Buffalo Wings that were being showcased with different flavors. We went for it and enjoyed it with different sides to taste test and some delicious fresh mango juice. Everything was delicious but, my 1 critic was regarding the bulky size of the Wings. Looks great and mimics real chicken but, for me personally it changes the texture. I just preferred my wings to be way more crisp texture than softer. They still tasted great but, I am sure strips, nuggets, or thinner wings would be super smackin' delicious.

We went 30 minutes out of the way to try this place, and it was definitely worth the effort. We got 2 mob plates with a mix of brisket, shrimp, mac n cheese, potato salad, baked beans and candied yams. Food was absolutely killer. They were also super helpful with allergy questions.

So good my tongue slapped me in the face to get another taste! Straight up delicious vegan soul food, this place knows what they're doing & does it like an absolute boss. One plate was big enough for 2 people to share & everything was delicious, fresh, & totally vegan. The brisket is fantastic, there's even burnt ends in it, holy wow. 👏 Smackeroni is perfect to pair with the greens, which are something from the South that I deeply miss. Candied yams taste like the holidays & love. Come hungry, leave happy.

My partner used to love going here so we had to stop by when we were down from Humboldt. We drove to Oakland because the website and google indicated it would be open, but it was closed which was okay we just ended up going to this location. The service was amazing like I’d come back to this location to try again just because of how great the service is. Unfortunately we didn’t love the meal this time. They were out of a lot of the sides and all the drinks (except canned drinks), which is understandable it happens. The food was really (like really really) cold sadly and I ordered the ribs, but unfortunately it was really soupy? Like maybe the salad dressing or something I’m not sure I posted a picture. They definitely didn’t look like the ribs that they posted on TikTok so I originally thought maybe I was served the wrong thing, but apparently that is them. The salad was good and I definitely think the sides would have been great if they were warm. I even liked my partners candied yams and I usually don’t like yams. We ended up asking for a refund for my plate because it was $23 for a plate that I didn’t eat, but my partner ate hers! Amazing customer service, highly disappointed in the food, but we are definitely willing to give it another shot.

Lions mane wings with fries were really good! 50% off yummy tacos on Taco Tuesday! My son loved the Mob Burger!

Such amazing vegan soul food! Everything was seasoned well! The owner and staff was really nice too! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating as well! I highly recommend this place!

I was so excited about trying this place seen it on tictok and was sold for the fact it was vegan I came all the way from Lodi to try it. I was expecting a lot but they were out of the sauce I wanted no ranch the Mac and cheese had to be old and cold the greens was okay the yams where really good I'm sure better if hot the wings could have been cooked longer my husband liked his brisket and his potato salad was really good the Fry's good garlic noodles where over cooked they were crispy not noodle texture at all and lumpas where okay strawberry lemonade with lukewarm no ice all and all expectations we're too high probably won't be coming back

The food here is amazing, but it is way too expensive for the small portions you get. I order the large mob plate for $25 and it is barely filling. Apparently they are low or out of beans so they literally just served me the liquid that the beans sit in. They also drizzled the bean sauce all over the Mac and cheese. 🥲 the ribs were barely warm. Again the food is delicious, it’s just too expensive for what you get.

This is THE BEST plant based spot far and wide! (From CA to Texas at least) The schmackaroni is self explanatory. Every option on the menu will have you wondering if you're really eating plant based, because the flavors and textures are phenomenal! Most, vegan/plant based places only have one or two items that are actually good, but every item on this menu is delectable! There is literally something for everyone/every desire. The music, the people, the food. Everything is amazing! The location is in a spot you can get in and out easily, or walk up to.

Have followed @officialveganmob for quite a while and drooled at many of the items. Finally decided to stop ogling and try the food in person. When I tell you!!! It was finger-lickin', lip-smackin' good. The portion sizes the opposite of anemic. The po'boy sandwich was crunchy, spicy, and creamy. The spicy chicken mob plate was heaped with savoriness. For sides we had the mac and cheese, fries, baked beans, and yams. Someone put their foot in the latter two. The area was extremely clean and the staff friendly. We've already picked the choices for our next visit.

Food ordered: shrimp po boy with yams, garlic noodles & lumpia. They forgot to include my double order of yams but everything else was truly 10/10. I've had their food when they had the oakland location and that was at least 2 years ago. It was just as good if not better than I remember. The lady working was so sweet but I wish she had remembered my yams lol. The space was empty, which made me so sad, but super clean and I hope to see it poppin on the regular soon. I'm not vegan. I'll be backkkkk.

I've heard of Vegan Mob from Oakland and I was curious. The person who helped us was really nice and really helpful. I told her it was my first time coming in so she was helpful navigating the menu to figure out what to get my husband and I. We decided to split a vegan mob combo which is perfect for two and we did their spicy chicken, brisket and shrimp. The person who helped us made sure we were taken care of and had all of our sauces to enjoy our meal. I loved the flavor, the texture, the crispness. Eating was a euphoric and amazing experience. The restaurant was quiet, but I would definitely bring some friends to eat and hang out. I am so glad to have finally tried Mob Vegan and glad to see they opened up a restaurant in Vallejo.

YESSSSSSS!!!! Finally a vegan place near us that has food with flavor! From tacos to big sandwiches to full-on plates, you won't be disappointed. We tried the VEGAN chicken sandwich and the VEGAN brisket. Both were delicious in their own ways. The chicken sandwich tasted like a big-a** sandwich you'd get at a lot of the fast-food places. But this is better on so many levels. The brisket plate with "smackaroni" (vegan cheese), yams, and greens was great. (It was a tiny bit over salted, but I'd rather it have flavor than be bland.) The people are great and the place is quiet, playing old favorite tunes. A good experience overall. Yes, this is one of our new faves, for sure!

My first time trying vegan food, and I was not disappointed. The yams were seasoned perfectly the fried "shrimp" had amazing flavor and crunch. The service was exceptional. The manager, Ebony, was very knowledgeable of the food. What was inside what the taste would be similar to and made excellent suggestions for the menu the fresh fruit drinks that they make daily. You need about four trust me on this. Ambiance and decor is edgy clean and welcoming. Who knew clean eating could taste so sinful !!

We have stopped here on our way back to Sacramento from San Francisco when it was Better Chew, and it was great then. We ordered the $30 plate to share (3 mains, 4 sides) and we were so stuffed we brought some home! Fantastic!!! If you guys ever wanna expand to Sacramento.....

Food is good, delivery has never worked for us unfortunately always says unavailable. Food is delicious and rich. Wish they served a green salad side to off set the rich food

We've been here a few times and we're never disappointed. My partner, my daughter, and myself all love their food. The restaurant is clean and all of the staff are very friendly.
