$120 I REPEAT $120 for a $14.99 looking cake. The crown was missing gems that were later found in the cake. The icing was cracking. For ‘tres leches’ which in English means a ‘milk cake’ was the most crumbly and dry cake I’ve ever had. Not to mention the bottom was burnt. Another thing, for $120 that was not the crown I picked out and it did NOT have my message on there that I requested (which was supposed to say ‘Happy Birthday __). Manager was VERY unprofessional and said, “I see people like you all the time coming back asking for a refund because you can’t afford a cake in the first place.” I demanded and received my refund, after being embarrassed and humiliated.

I visited this bakery for the 1st time. I ordered a slice of carrot cake and a small lemon cake. The carrot was very good! It was fresh and not too sweet. The lemon was good as well but there was a slight after taste after eating it. I won’t get that one again but I will definitely have the carrot cake again and try something else as well. There were quite a few employees there. Mainly Spanish speaking. I think there were two people there that spoke English when I was there. I hope if they are able there are bilingual people working all the time during business hours. There was a large variety of items to choose from. The slice cake was a little over $4 and the small cake was a little over &7. I think their prices are about right. The facility was very clean and I appreciate that. I will visit this bakery again.

Best pan dulce, and I've been getting everyone's birthday cakes from here since I found this place. More expensive than a grocery store cake but you are definitely getting your worth. Staff is pretty understanding and very polite. I do recommend, highly.

So let me start off I’ve been to this place multiple times for baked goods. Really good 👍 But it will be my last time ever getting a cake from them. My cake was for my birthday is supposed to be Playboy bunny shaped cake and it was supposed silver and Red 🍒 cherrys with cursive writing and to be ready at 12 . When I came in, the cake was not ready And it did not look like a playboy bunny instead, it look like someone throwing up a peace ✌️ sign looked Nowhere near like the cake I want med the color wasn’t even correct let alone they put a sticker on top saying they didn’t have enough time to order the cut out Nothing about the cake was correct. They tried to convince me it looked just like the cake Or similar that I order mind you I ordered this cake two weeks prior to picking the cake up. They told me give them two hours to fix the. Came back four hours later the cake still wasn’t ready And the cake still looked nothing like what I ordered I should’ve gotten my money back at that point but I wanted the cake more because it was what i themed my party around. The third time I just took the cake because I was short on time my party started at nine. I ended up leaving there at five. Then when we cut the cake open, the ears were nothing but frosting and it look like they filled the cake with nothing but frosting and it was only not even a whole round cake inside it’s was a half of l cake not even enough to feed 8 to 10 people which is what I ordered and they was charging me $150 for this cake . So glad that we stopped in! I got this little peanut butter layered cake thing and my partner got a chocolate dipped cheesecake bar - THEY WERE SO DELICIOUS! Super rich in flavor, we couldn't finish them but that just means we get to enjoy them again later and all for under $8. As soon as you walk in you see a case of delicious cakes, pies, puddings, and you're already drooling. We visited at 8pm and everything seemed fresh still. Would love to see what they have in the mornings, we will definitely be back to try more things.

We ordered 2 cakes of Baby Shark for my daughter’s birthday and it was a very beautiful cake. That was last year and I’m planing on ordering from them again this year. 10/10 recommend.

My partner called me on FaceTime while he was here, it has so much to offer. I was excited to try the pumpkin tres leche. He came home with other goodies for the family. I've been a fan of Vegas Bakery for years now! Definitely my go to for some basics and for special occasion desserts! I love their homemade bolillos. Delicate and crunchy, slightly salted, and buttery -- bolillos are a great bread to make sandwiches with or to pair with soup. They're a household must-try. Their conchas are also made in-house (like most of their items) and they are yummy. Just the right texture and balance of flavor and sweetness. The conchas are delicate and can be split apart easily. You'll notice the delicious inside that is soft and a yummy bite. My personal favorite is their fruit tarts. The tarts are held together by a delicious base with some crunch to it. The layer of pastry cream is just so light and almost refreshing. Topped with ripe fruits like blueberries and raspberries it's a perfect summer desert!! You'll find something for everyone here. Chocolate cakes, strawberry cakes, gelatins, donuts, flan, tres leches cakes, and much much more. Don't let the bad reviews keep you away from trying this place out for yourself. You're also able to order custom cakes here for your special occasion - birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, etc!

My new go to spot for some freshly made Mexican sweet bread. They have a variety of items and the service is quick and prices are affordable. I will definitely be checking out more of what they have to offer.

This was such a disappointment. Upon arrival, no greeting, no eye contact, all the employees were talking to one another. Seemed like 1 lady was doing all the orders even though there had to be a dozen employees there. After walking around at least 10 minutes and standing at the counter waiting for any type of acknowledgment from anyone, I walked out. The bakery has so much to offer. However, the prices and the service made this visit a total bust. I see they have many reviews stating my sane sentiment

This bakery has made my last two birthday cakes and they were so WONDERFUL that the words just melt in my mouth. I can't wait to order my thanksgiving birthday cake this year.It only happens every seven years.I'm thinking a pink ake with diamonds sprinkles all over the boarder and gilded writing in the middle of the cake!Keep it classy!

My mom ordered a cake from this place for my tias 60th birthday. She ordered it 5 weeks before the party, with a simple design request; "Happy Birthday Chrissy." She was instructed to pick up the cake the day of the party at 2 pm. This is the point where everything went downhill. 1. We waited 45 min for the cake to be ready- it was ordered 5 weeks ago, there was no reason for it to be late, especially when we were on time. 2. The name was spelt wrong. The "r" in Chrissy was missing. 3. They then "fixed", please see picture. It's insulting that they think anyone would think this ok. My 8 year old niece could have wrote it better. The worker at the desk said she wouldn't even take it. 4. They then "fixed" it again with a sticker. It was sloppily put on. It was bumpy, wrinkly and you could see holes beneath it. At this point the party was less than 2 hours away and we had no option but to take this ugly cake--there was no time to do anything else. We came back to speak to the manager the very next day--they couldn't be bothered to leave their office to speak to us-instead we dealt with a rude young girl, in hopes for some compensation or even a sincere apology-- what we got, and I quote " I can do nothing, you take my take". No "I'm so sorry this happened" No 20, 50 dollars back, not even a coupon for THEIR MISTAKE! Also important to mention my cousin who picked up the cake was told no one spoke English so we got someone one the phone who spoke Spanish --turns out the girl who was working was the same girl we dealt with and she gave herself away-- turns out she DOES IN FACT speak English. This is NOT how you treat your customers. While we understand mistakes happen, they way they are handled says everything about a business. What this business told us -- is we don't matter and neither does our money. While my family typically comes here to buy pre-made cakes, because they are always delicious, they will never get another penny of our money.

I can't express enough how much I love Vegas bakery. From the cakes to the pastries is 10/10! There hasn't been one thing I've tried and went ehh it's okay haha they make everything with love. The service at Vegas bakery is 50/50 they could do a little better on being attentive of their customers that are standing around, I know they are busy bagging and boxing items but some are legit just standing behind the pastries and not acknowledging anybody.

It's one of the best panaderias in vegas Conchas are soft & fresh. Some of the girls have an attitude, kill them with kindness and get your pan dulce on. My hubby loves the cheesecakes. Treat the workers with respect and if they are rude, tell them!!!!

First of all i want to complain about the "manager" marlene she has the worst attitude and worst customer service i really don't know why they have her as a manager. I requested for someone else to assist me because she had the worst additude and she stated she wanted to charge me $10 for the paper she filled out to order my cake. Then yesterday 06/29 when i went and picked up my cake it was nothing what i ordered i had ordered a white tres leches cake with strawberry and walnut filling and when it was time to cut it it had no milk and the bread was so dry. I will never come back to this place.

We tried to place a order for b-day cake, the employees at the downtown store said they can't do it. Never even ask what i wanted. Instead they told us to drive back across town to Henderson. There was no one in the store and could of easily helped us order the cake but now days cant find good help. They were so unhelpful, and rude, she wouldn't take the time to explain what we want. Very ugly experience I will never go back there

I placed an order for my daughter's baby shower. I specifically told lady Isabel Tres leche with strawberry, peaches and specifically told her a purple cake. Had my mother in law pick it up because it's on the other side of town ... party was at 11. I finally saw cake it was pink! And the inside was NOT tres leches. It was dry and not good. No excused, I told her in Spanish along with my daughter. I am Latina but was I supposed to tell her in Chinese to understand?? When I called, the manager wasn't having it.. didn't want to hear about it and that was that. Paid $100. 00. No apologies nothing. They are beyond unprofessional ! Horrible establishment.

I got a two cakes from them today for my brother and daughters birthday. These cakes are disappointing. I'm incredibly let down after paying 110 for one cake and 170 for the other. We also were told to wait an additional HOUR past our arranged pick up time. Which threw off our party timing. I'm including photos below of what we received Vs what was asked. I specifically asked for no fondant so they used paper or something instead on the round cake. So it looks nothing like what I asked for. The whale cake is missing its front fins. When ordering the cakes the ladies wouldn't even talk to me and instead talked over me to my husband. Overall very disappointing experience. Ordered a cake for my daughter and when I picked it up it was melting. They "couldn't do anything about it because it would ruin it more" what a disappointment. They also spelled her name wrong, it was written with lilac and when they went back to "fix it" they went over it with a purple!. Lazy work if you ask me. Too many mistakes for what they charged and having plenty of time to do the cake. Save your money and go else where. Definitely no stars!

This is the second time we've been disappointed and disrespected by this bakery. We ordered a mermaid cake 2 years ago gave the a photo to follow from. The colors were complete off. They argued that this is what we asked for and I told them pull the receipt. Once they saw they admitted the color was not correct but all they do is tell you well if you don't want the cake don't pay for it. This is very frustrating when it's the day of your party and that's the only choice they give you. Don't even offer to discount the price due to THEIR error. So you're left paying for a shitty cake (and this place is not cheap!) or no cake at all. This year we went in the morning to drop off the cake toppers (bunny ears and face). And they tell us they can't find the cake. Like we had our receipt. Finally after a hard time looking they found it. When we went to pick it up at night same problem. They can't find it again. Day of our party and they are giving us a stress. Once they finally find our cake. A flower wasn't filled. We just asked them to fill like like the photo and again they argue with us that no this is what you told us to do blah blah blah. Treated us rudely that we didn't want to pay for the cake, even though I had my debit card in hand ready! Just asked them to fix a flower. But they don't listen or care. Again was given the choice don't want it don't take it. After arguing they finally filled a flower for us. Overall the customer service here is the worse. Very unprofessional for what they charge.

Truly a great secret in NW Vegas. All baked goods are fresh and delicious. My family and I have had their baked breads, sweet breads, and cakes all have been amazing. When you walk in the door you get the feel of a small family bakery, and you receive great service every time. You won't be disappointed no matter what you get.

Waooo after seeing all the poor reviews from this place I decided to make a more extensive review based on value and the variety of pastries in this place, i been in many bakeries looking for a good croissant and pastries and this place deserves a 5 stars review, the quality is GOOD, you will taste a good bread from the moment you put it in your mouth, the value is NOT OVERPRICED but for the quality is very affordable, the service from the moment you walk in there is many girls behind the counter to help you decide so that is a TOP NOTCH SERVICE, the ambiance is clean an very fast to check out i will comeback for sure, little far to me but don't care they have good prices and a decent variety of pastries.

Wish I had taken a pic! I ordered the cake on short notice for a last-minute schedule change. I requested a design that I saw from a pic in their wall. Cake World always comes through. My husband & I have ordered birthday cake from Cake World on Teneya Way since 2015. The cakes are always moist as well as delicious! I will be hard-pressed to go anywhere else to purchase a cake from another bakery. Plus, my family & I love to support local family businesses. Actually so ugly not even close to what I wanted.... In a rush so I can't do anything about it but really? The 13 looks like play-Doh and is huge... and u can see where they scraped off old 13 & don't get me started on the fondant hearts... like what? Did u even look at the reference picture before making it , I deadass could have done a better job

The prices are understandable but also a bit overboard. Don't come in here expecting kind service cause I promise they don't give a f*ck. They're extremely impatient, if you're planning on coming here to order a cake you better have everything prepared and ready. You can't even scroll through your gallery to try to look for the custom cake you want cause the workers will roll their eyes and start tapping on their clip board cause they're so impatient. You cannot make a mistake because they WILL press you about it. I understand how frustrating it could be when the customer forgets to ask for something but that doesn't mean the workers should go and roll their eyes and yell at customers. Las señoras aquí no tienen nada de respeto para los clientes. Te regañan por lo que sea, ni preguntes nada porque se impacientan pero bien rápido.

The pastries here are really delicious and worth their value, I just dislike a lot on how the service is because whenever you ask one of the ladies to help you out on getting what you need they send you to another and it continues like this until SOMEONE actually does. They also tend to get very mad easily when you point them out on what they do! I like the place just wish it was more professional

The cakes are 10/10 taste absolutely amazing. The designs are all sooo creative sooo unique. The bread is always fresh.... I will say the service sucks sometimes. The young girl that packed my order kept talking to her co worker which made her pack it wrong 4 TIMES. Worst part is she gave ME attitude. I spoke to her in Spanish and English so it wasn't a language problem it was a inefficiency problem. Ps they close before closing time bc " if they don't close before closing time more people come in" wish they had better service

Not sure why we ever gave this place another chance after the disasters of cakes we've received in the past. $100+ for something that looks completely unfinished and they charge extra for every little thing for such a low quality product. We asked for Happy Birthday to be actually written on the cake since we were informed that the guitar toy in the example pic wasn't available and needed something to fill the space, and we get this result so we had to find something to fill the huge blank white space anyways. The cake has uneven and smeared printing on the design that wasn't even laid onto the cake correctly let alone the fact that what was printed onto the cake isn't even the same as what we asked for. Extremely disappointed and won't be returning.

Super fun store. They have so many cakes and cookies and breads that it makes it hard to decide. My gf was craving for a chocolate cake and she got the chocolate tres leches cake slice and she loved it. I got a tart with Bavarian cream and fruits and it was good. Service is excellent. Prices are low and I love the fact that they offer slices for everything that way you don't have to buy the whole cake to try.

My rating is purely based on their tres leches cake. Tried for the first time a couple weeks ago, I thought it was the best tres leches I've ever had. Cake was not super spongy and not soggy like the grocery stores. Had to go get one for my family to enjoy at my birthday dinner tonight. If it was just me, I'd get mocha only. I opted for mocha, chocolate and vanilla option since we have lots of kids in the family. Two other people said it was the best they've ever had as well.

came here for my little sisters birthday cake thinking they'd be competent enough to do the job, the cake i received looked NOTHING like the reference I gave. I picked it up hours before her birthday party and wasn't offered any solution! ABSOLUTELY DISAPPOINTING

the customer service here isn't the best. you walk in and no one greets you but just looks at you. i recently went in today to get a cake for my brothers birthday and the girl was talking to me like i was stupid. i told her i was ready and she just looked at me with a disgust face. i never been more disappointed.

And they have the nerve to say it looks similar!? It was $112 for a cake i couldve done at home. Horrible!! Left is what i wanted and right is what i got SMH.

Mood - dessert of course Upon entering several people were coming in. There was a long line of people weaving all the way around. So I followed and waited. There are several people that work behind the counter. 1 counter person calls you out, and takes your complete order. I got several delights. Your asked if you want a box or a bag. They ask your name write it on your package. Then you proceed to the register to pay. My highlight was a chocolate roll lined with jam. So perfect. Interior is several display cases filled with wonderful sugary delights. There are dry cases and cold cases. Plus bread items in the middle. The store is adorned with many cakes that you can choose to have custom made. Everything was very clean. Music was playing in the background. Would recommend- pricing was reasonable, don't be intimidated by the line. They get you out fairly quick. Location is Jones/ Lake Mead- ample parking

Horrible customer service. Lady that "helped" me was super rude. Couldn't answer any questions just kept pointing where cakes e and told me to ease the labels like obviously I can read but I want to know what's what if it means the frosting a certain flavor or the filling etc. Also i was sent to pay while they put a name and "happy birthday" on the cake and I then waited after I paid and the lady that put the name on the cake wouldn't give me the cake she said u didn't pay I said yes I did then another worker said no she didn't and I'm like well I have my receipt ! I showed it and they didn't even say sorry they just laughed! Super outrageous and the tres leches cake wasn't as great as I had tried before. Was very dry !

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I went In to order a cake for my husbands birthday put down a $24 deposit (total was $94) The following week when I went to pick up the cake I got there and after taking my payment they told me the cake would be right out. As I waited my husband and I saw them scrambling around looking for an order sheet (I'm assuming they were looking for ours) . All of the employees looked like they had no idea where the cake was. Finally after 10min of waiting they told us they messed up w/ the photo that needed to be printed on the cake & it would take 10min. I was annoyed but I said okay I'll go run a few errands & come back. She said yeah no problem, we have your number. We'll call you in a bit when it's done. AFTER 30 MIN we came back because no one had called me. My husband went in there and they told him 5 more min. Then proceeded to ask him if he had a photo of how the cake should look like. Like wtf!!!!? And on top of that the dumb lady had the audacity to try to tell my husband "it's not anything we did" Are you serious? My husband asked for a refund and we just bought one of the "ready to go cakes" because we were already running late. I am willing to bet these people didn't even make the cake! Mind you we picked a cake from their book of cakes. Not like we asked them for anything difficult. They're so unprofessional, the cakes are overpriced. I'd just save your money and go elsewhere. These people don't know what they're doing.

This bakery is fantastic we will start with the baked goods they are AMAZING great taste I have been here a few times and I walk out with different pastries and I have yet to be disappointed everything is fresh made and tasting so good the little orange pound cakes in the glass case are amazing moist and not overly sweet... the tarts ... the empanadas I can go on and in even the loaves that are at the middle If the floor a great taste and bang for the buck great as gifts when going to see a friend and have coffee or tea heck a large glass of milk it's worth every bite ..... the service is amazing the are all so nice and helpful super polite I wish everyone could have the same customer service they seem to enjoy what they do the place is clean and it's just and all and all worth the time money and experience all in one place give them a try if you have a sweet tooth you will keep coming back for more .

Our experiences definitely could have been better. In an attempt to make my parent's 25th Anniversary special, my sister and I decided to order a small 8" cake from here. We discussed with one of their employees what we wanted. We pulled up a picture online and told her what to add. We wanted gold shimmer on the roses, two rings, a large 25 in the middle and finally their names on the sides of the cake. Simple enough, right? She quoted us $80.00 We ordered it with about three days notice. A side from this I ordered a cupcake but asked for them to place it in a small Valentine's Day box that they were clearly promoting. They lady who packaged it wasn't nice. She basically threw it in and didn't care to insulate it at all. The cupcake was rolling around damaging it's whipped cream. I had to reach over and get some paper to keep it in place. Well the cupcake didn't even make it home. The box they put it in was so flimsy that it literally fell through the box onto the floor when in the car. The cake itself when picked up was leaking so bad with the tres leches milk that they put in it. We didn't care as we didn't have a back up bakery or the time. When they first presented it they wanted me to sign for it right away. I instead noticed they hadn't even placed the large 25 in the middle of it how we asked. They took it back and when they came back out with the "25" but the 5 turned out looking like an upside down 2. They didn't even bother with the shimmer. The gold sparkles are something I had at home. I gave them a two star because the cake design itself was not all that bad. They lack customer service. They store itself is confusing. When I was picking up the cake a gentleman had to ask ME how he gets someone to take his order. This is probably the last time I come to purchase a custom cake from here let alone buy any display desert.
