Essential Breakfast Spots of the Jersey Shore | Eater Philly

"The Vegas Diner in North Wildwood has been serving up culinary dishes to locals and tourists since 1979. Stop by the diner for breakfast and dive into classics and new creations, such as the cheese omelet, egg and pork roll sandwich, cannoli-stuffed waffle, and avocado benedict." - Kristen Kwiatkowski

I give vegas diner 5 stars across the board. As a local I've been going to Vegas Diner for 24 years and I can tell you they are consistent across the board, the food is always made fresh and is served hot and all at the same time, the service is always impeccable and the diner no matter what time of year is clean. I've gone for breakfast lunch and dinner, they make great burgers, chicken dish and the Italian food is even good for a diner. The breakfast is great, they know how to make a great omelet they are light and fluffy, full of flavor and stuffed. They have a great salad bar but they also make one of the best Greek salad, they have everything in this salad even the delicious stuffed grape leaves and pita bread and if you like you can add meat or shrimp, I usually get the grilled chicken and its so bug make sure you bring a friend. Overall I can honestly say that Vegas Diner is the best Diner not only on the Wildwoods Island but also off the Island. If you haven't checked out Vegas Diner and your looking for an authentic diner/restaurant check out Vegas you won't be disappointed.

No complaints, typical NJ diner. Our waiter was very attentive. Prices were reasonable. 2 of us had breakfast there on a Sunday, it was packed, but we got a 2 top rather quickly. I think for large parties there was a wait.

Service was great...everyone was nice and friendly. Food was pretty good but man was it ever so very expensive for a diner. 3 eggs w meat fries toast n coffee was almost $20. I'd recommend it but only if your willing to pay higher prices.

Gluten free options and awesome service at the Vegas Diner Excellent, excellent, excellent. The Vegas diner was a wonderful place to have breakfast. My mom and I were on vacation for a little girls' trip, and we LOVE to eat good food and meet good people. Service is extremely important! The Vegas diner checked all of our boxes! Dmitri welcomed us into the very warm diner on a 25 degree day, and we were so excited to sit down. Our server, Aphrodite, was very kind and even though it was her first couple of days, she really knew what she was doing. She was attentive and kind. Then we met Furcan, who came around to keep our coffee hot with a smile. The food was delicious, with gluten free breads available. I had gluten free french toast and it was out of this world. Their eggs were great, and coffee was delicious. I think above all else, the service was incredible, and all of the people seemed really happy to work at Vegas diner. My mom and I highly recommend it and have nothing but good things to say about the staff, the management, and our meal.

We stopped for dinner on our way into town and so glad we did! Our server was excellent and our food was plentiful and very good. Our meals and soup were piping hot when delivered to our table. We chose complete dinners which included soup, salad bar and dessert. The salad bar is attended to by staff and was kept tidy. Will return soon!

Food is freshly made. Portions are generous and prices are not outrageous, especially in this economy. Service is pleasant and not intrusive. Parking on site, credit cards accepted, and an ATM on premises.

The Vegas Diner is a solid stop if you're passing through Wildwood. The classic and cozy atmosphere, friendly and professional staff, and delicious food does not disappoint. My caramel cold brew drink hit the spot after a long night on the town, and my BLT with home fries was simple and cooked to perfection.
