Google
this was my first time trying veggie garden! i ordered pickup on the website (which is apparently new) and felt the food was a reasonable price. i will add (for feedback purposes) that i wish the website has customizable options or an input section. for example, i'm allergic to nuts so i wasn't able to order a few things but it's one of those cases where the nuts could just not be added to the top of the dish. it would be helpful to have a section on the website when ordering where i could specify things like that! i took my food home and i felt like the portions were great for the price! i enjoyed a few different dishes to sample but i'll definitely be back to try more. i would definitely recommend anything with the vegan ham in it.. it's delicious! the way the tofu was prepared was great too. it had a lot of flavor and the texture was good. i'd definitely recommend trying this restaurant out. along with takeout, they have an area to dine in and i think a few tables outside as well.

Loved everything from here so much! Service and hospitality was so kind and accommodating. We got the sampler platter, the bun hue, pho, banh bao, taro pudding, cafe sua da, stuffed bitter melon, and the soy drumstick Everything here is made with love and care and I’m so excited to come back!

5/25 Been coming here for a decade now. I have formed a connection with my regular food item menu which is the No. 12 and Spring roll (appetizer) The No. 12 absolutely is my favorite given the perfect balance of spices and broth. Takes me back home to that special place within the first bite . Crispy Spring rolls with that sweet sauce is a perfect side companion . Always been welcomes with a smile. They also have specials which vary daily and would recommend taking Fried Tofu back home. Added pics of No. 12 and Spring Rolls

Google
This place is great! I'm not a vegetarian but their veggie pho is really good! I like how they give you vegan meats as well. I would rate this place higher than other pho places in Orlando that have meat in their pho. Definitely give this place a try!

Google
This is now officially my new favorite vegan restaurant!!! The food here is amazing and incredibly fresh, the service is warm and family oriented, and everything is well priced I had an incredible iced tea that didn’t have any sugar in it, and tasted so complex. We ordered number five( See photo) and I ordered number 30 which is a great combination of different flavors.!!

Google
This is my second time dining here. My first visit I got the pho and it was pretty tasty. During my last visit I got the #27 that comes with stuffed bean curd. The curd reminded me of something like meatloaf. I did not like it that much and was hoping for more of an inari vibe with a sweet bean curd taste. Even though I didn’t really enjoy the #27, I know they have lots of other yummy dishes and I will be back again.

Google
Extremely friendly and knowledgable staff, beautiful and clean environment, and the food was absolutely delicious! Great mix of savory and spice with lots to choose from. Togo order came out fresh and hot very quickly. My only regret is that I didn't get to try everything...can't wait to come back!

Shanah B.

Google
This was a fantastic recommendation from some locals for plant based lunch. All of their dishes are vegan and almost all of them are gluten free. So freaking delicious! And so many options to choose from. We got the Amazing Spring Rolls as an appetizer and No. 15 & No. 27 for lunch. All were amazingly delicious and nutrient dense. We couldn't have asked guys a better way to end our Orlando culinary experience.

Yelp
I am no vegan by any means but slowly wanting to transition due to health reasons but I was absolutely surprised by this place. I just looked up vegan places near me and the pictures themselves sold me on coming by. I shared a picture to the lady taking my order and she immediately knew what it was called which I'm glad because I was brought here because of the picture of the #12 and had no idea the name of it. So I got the #3 cha gio-spring rolls $4 and the #12 bun hue -royal hue $13. I could not finish my whole bowl it was such a generous portion and enough for two people. It had such depth in flavor for a vegetable broth and you could've fooled me with the vegan beef. It tasted just like the real thing! I'm not a tofu lover but it was so good. I truly was impressed. This little place holds so much culture. I will make this a must visit everytime I'm in winter park and you should too!

Yelp
Now that the weather is a little cooler if you're looking for a vegetarian pho this is really the place to get it. LOVE their various spring rolls as well. They have such a relaxing vibe in their restaurant and they have so many delicious offerings to choose from. You can also get some food to go to heat up for later. Really very conveniently located just to walk away from mills market, Sampaguita ice cream if you want dessert etc..

Yelp
This is my go to Vietnamese place when visiting Orlando. I love that they are vegetarian/vegan. The food is absolutely delicious and authentic. I've recommended this place to many people and I've always heard back great feedback even from those that are not vegetarian or vegan. The service and ambiance are good. The place is a small hidden gem.
google avatar

Natalie H.

Yelp
Part time vegan by choice (if the food is good). Can definitely say this as a true statement for this gem of a place. Tucked inside a business plaza, Veggie Garden is like grandma's house. The woman at the counter is the sweetest. The food? Phenomenal. Fresh. Flavorful. Comfort Food to the tee. Food is not overly complicated. Not heavy. Perfect.
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely delicious vegan food served by sweet ladies. There were so many choices, it was hard to make a decision, but we were very happy with our pho, spring rolls, and the other items we ordered. We liked the window seats that faced out to a small courtyard. Not a lot of room to eat there, but we were able to be seated immediately on a Sunday afternoon.

D. E.

Yelp
This place is sooooo good! I went my first time today. I got the #27. It did not disappoint. The ladies that own the place are so sweet & hospitable also. I will be back many times over.

Yelp
I almost hate to write a review here because this restaurant is the very definition of a "hole in the wall." There are only five small tables and it is very basic. But, as mostly plant-based people (we eat vegetarian or even pescatarian sometimes when we eat out) this is probably our favorite place to visit for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We have been visiting for years and have never had anything that was less than delicious of the many items we have tried. The food is very imaginative and, we believe, authentic Vietnamese vegan cuisine. Recently, we tried their "Tet Special" and #27. We also always get a sampler of their appetizers as well. Now we have two new favorites. Check out their menu if you want the details, but the food is even more tasty than it looks.

Susanne J.

Yelp
Almost a literal hole in the wall. Food is always delicious! May go to almost anytime we order or eat out.

Yelp
10/10. I just found this place and it's my favorite place to eat. I love Vietnamese vegetarian food and there aren't any places that do it besides special events at the temple. I had the bun hue, 5/5. The broth was the best I've had in Orlando and I've tried about 5 places so far. The vegan meat is my favorite. Bun rieu: 5/5. As well, best broth I've had. Tastes just like grandmas cooking. Service is great. Very attentive, and they all speak English so feel free to order in English or Vietnamese :) Ambiance: 1/5. There's like 3-4 tables inside, it's not really made for dine in. The shop is so small that it's better to sit and eat outdoors in the seating area reserved for their restaurant. Honestly, it just feels like you're coming to grandmas to eat, it doesn't need to look nice as long as the food is amazing!

Yelp
Tasty decent vegan bun bo hue. Reminiscent of my childhood in some ways. First time eating food like this without family around makes things all the more appreciative.

Yelp
My friend recently became vegetarian, and we were looking for new places to eat. I have always seen it for years while going to the other restaurants but never thought to stop by until recently. As soon as I came in, I was welcomed by the owner. She had a list of recommendations and also gave us a free bao for coming in to support her business. The Bun Hue was surprisingly my favorite. I thought that since there wasn't a beef broth base, it would lack flavor and depth, but it was quite the opposite. It had the essence of Bun Bo Hue and the depth but with a different taste since it is veggie based. I would not recommend fried rice. The rice was soggy, and the spam substitute had a weird aftertaste. The bao, on the other hand, was worth it. The bao was soft, and the filling was juicy and filled to the brim. I was surprised by the amount of options that Veggie Garden provided. Though I haven't been able to go back, it is definitely one of my favorite restaurants for vegetarian and vegan options.

Lawrence U.

Yelp
It's hard to find this place. Food options are pretty much good. I did not dine in. I just ordered ready-made food. Ordered the jackfruit and eggplant dish to go. It was tasty. The jackfruit was on the saltier side. It's pretty quiet place.
google avatar

George G.

Yelp
ate here again and same as last time perfect ate outside had the tofu ribs and the egg roll noodles yum yum a ree 12.00 for each bowl

Yelp
Veggie garden is an Orlando hidden gem. It is a modest, barebones restaurant, and smells so good inside. With all vegan items and plenty of gluten-free options, it is an amazing place for dietary needs. The owner was very accommodating, explaining what had gluten and what did not. The food came out pretty quickly. The food was flavorful, fresh, and affordable. I really enjoyed the fresh roll, and I still dream of their fantastic chili garlic topping (pictured here). We got the fresh rolls, vermicelli, and buddha bowl. After ordering, I had major FOMO (fear of missing out) and if I could do it again, I would choose the multi-entree option, where you pick up to 3 different entrees to mix. Honestly, I wanted to try everything on the menu. I was particularly fond of their pickled daikon (comes on the side). The food in their deli case also looks very good and you can order their many vegan proteins, sides, and sauces to-go. Thank you for a delicious meal, and I will be back very soon! Gluten-free note: apparently the soy sauce is all gluten-free but they re-used the old containers on the tables so it looks like regular soy sauce. Not sure how that works for those who are super sensitive, but from other reviews it does not seem to be an issue.

Yelp
I went through a two-month vegan phase recently (yes, prompted by "The Game Changers"), and found myself almost exclusively eating at home, as vegan restaurant fare in Orlando didn't appeal for the most part. One exception was Veggie Garden, where I came for the Bun Hue a handful of times. I loved the flavors, the textures, and the spiciness of the dish, and was impressed by how much flavor depth they were able to create without fish sauce or beef stock. Also, the people running the restaurant are very friendly, and the little courtyard patio is a nice place to eat and relax. Will I return now that I'm no longer eating vegan? Maybe not as often, but definitely.

Kelley A.

Yelp
This is one of the best restaurants in Orlando. Their fried tofu is perfect and everything on the menu is so fresh. I especially love the fermented pineapple (fish) sauce and the prepared desserts they sell in the fridge - I have never seen them anywhere else and they are so unique. I love this place!
google avatar

Hope C.

Yelp
Vegan Vietnamese. Small home style restaurant. Visited for the Lunar New Year. Very kind service and food came out quick. Enjoyed the summer rolls and spring rolls for appetizers. We enjoyed the fried rice, the soy ribs with noodle and my husband tried the 3 item combo- shiitake mushrooms (delicious), sautéed eggplant with ginger, and teriyaki seitan. There were a few other items that I would like to try next time. The vegetable broth that came with the three item combo was delicious! If that is the pho broth then bring it on
google avatar

Rachel S.

Yelp
Great value for a delicious meal! I tried the combo plate where you can choose 3 "entrees" and it comes with rice and some veggies. For only $12, I got the eggplant, shiitake mushrooms, and teriyaki wheat gluten. The sauce on the eggplant and mushrooms were very flavorful and savory. I also got a Bao ($5) but was not a huge fan of it as the dough, although soft and fluffy, was interestingly sweetened like dessert while the filling was savory. The atmosphere felt very laidback, and the space was clean. They have a huge menu, so I look forward to trying more of their foods!

Yelp
This is my go-to Vietnamese spot in Orlando and I always get the Bun Hue, regardless what else I get. The soup is so flavorful with lemongrass, it always hits the spot! Same with the beancurd skin tofu roll that's filled with mushroom, veggies and tofu. My family tends to get the pho chay or vermicelli bowl but I think my bun hue is always a win! I love that a lot of the cooked items in the front display for the combo plate are also gluten free which is great for family dinners. They are also very accommodating if you need to swap some of the toppings to be gluten free. The people are great - always friendly and helpful. If they're closed, there are a ton of Vietnamese spots around the corner, which my family might be ordering from, and I have tried, but this is always my top choice for a fully vegan, safe, plant-based meal that I can trust. My family ends up ordering from here too when they don't want a meat-heavy meal. As a vegan, it's really hard to order and be assured that your meal doesn't have fish sauce or some animal in your broth. I'm really grateful for having them here! They also have the array of Vietnamese snacks, desserts (Che) and cooking essentials. I would love to also see some other Vietnamese dishes like broken rice or banh xeo and banh biao. But they have a nice extensive menu that covers all of my Vietnamese cravings! They even switched to contactless payment now so you can pay by QR code on clover (which is also the platform for their online orders.)
google avatar

Thali S.

Yelp
It's my favorite spot! I always get the special pho and summer rolls. It's super fresh and healthy. This is a small woman-owned restaurant.
google avatar

Chantel H.

Yelp
I ordered multiple dishes off of Uber eats and everything from the presentations to the flavors and portions was good. The reason for three stars is because I got sick after so I threw away and wasted over $30 of food. The only thing that I can think of that it might have been was the dipping sauce for the spring rolls tasted very off like a moldy flavor. But everything else tasted great and I'm guessing this was a one off because the rest of the reviews are positive.
google avatar

Julio H.

Yelp
This place is amazing! The people here are very dedicated to their product, they really put out some good stuff. I had summer rolls (not fried) and they were fresh and flavorful, plus had a dipping sauce. The bao was also really good, filled with good stuff. We also ordered a 30 (combination) and a bamboo shoot pho, plus a fried rice (we finally didn't have to specify "vegetable fried rice"). The combination was really good, with chicken type vegetarian meat, and the soup was amazing, the broth was delicious. The combination comes with a clear soup that was also delicious, and the fried rice was nice, even though it was my least favorite. Everything is good and fresh, lots of veggies and very little fired stuff. A very nice and healthy meal.

Lyn W.

Yelp
I enjoy this place when I am interested in a more veggie based meal. The restaurant is very small but for $20 or less I can get a filling meal and the service is nice. I also like to get the combo on the back where you can choose up to three items. I feel less inhibited by choosing one main entry.
google avatar

Stephanie N.

Yelp
Love this place! I get the #31 with spring rolls or the soy drumsticks and it's perfect every-time. The Thai tea is a go to for me as well.
google avatar

Kait V.

Yelp
This place is a hidden Orlando gem. I cannot recommend enough if you love Vietnamese food. My best friend and I went and got Vietnamese coffees, lunch and apps. We shared spring rolls and a vegan bao bun. She got a noodle dish and I got the vegetable & tofu pho. I always want to try something new but the pho is so good here I always order that. Any time I am in Orlando I make sure I go here. I have never been disappointed. The food is incredible and even when they are busy worth waiting for. The owner is also super kind and so hard working. I see the love she puts in her business and it comes through in the traditional flavors that come through in every bite. I love this place so much. Cannot recommend enough.
google avatar

Yelp
Saturday afternoon lunch after shopping . Was craving vegetarian soup. We ended up trying the summer rolls as an appetizer, along with one bowl of pho and one bowl of bun Bo. The broths were very flavorful, I'm not a huge fan of the vegetarian meat. But it was better than I expected. Usually some sort of bean curd. My favorite part was the raw veggies. The Bun Bo had a nice blend of spice, added lime juice for a little sour. Service with rice noodles and vegetarian beef. Added bean sprouts and onions with a splash of Siracha. Next time I would recommend little less noodles and extra veggies such as mushroom and cauliflower.
google avatar

Khanh M.

Yelp
A good place to eat when you feel like you need a good meal & tired of getting meat. Small & cozy. Can't wait until the patio to be done with the painting work so I can be seated outside. People over there is very nice (I don't call them servers because there are always some very nice ladies bring us food). Highly recommended.
google avatar

Brian M.

Yelp
Small, 3 or 4 tables, inside with picnic tables out front. By the way, the Yelp "free appetizer"says it for birthdays but the employee called it a "scam". So, no free appetizer. This little area has a handful of small vietnamese restaurants in this small plaza. Next time, we'll give another a try. All 3 restaurants are small and tend to fill up quickly. There is parking on Colonial Drive and also around back with some Asian supermarkets in the area too.
google avatar

Enit S.

Yelp
Veggie Garden is one of those places that you wish you hadn't taken so long to visit. I was really craving a hearty soup and the Bun Hue I ordered exceeded my expectations. I'm still thinking about that great flavor! Not only did it have lots of vegetables, and these fat slurpy noodles, but also these pieces of imitation meat that normally I'm not a fan of but I ended up eating because it just tasted good! If you order the Bao; it's huge, I took a few bites and couldn't finish because I really wanted to attack the Bun Hue. I saw people from all kinds of background there and I think that says a lot about how good their food is. I also noticed that a group of people ordered a fried rice platter and it looked phenomenal! Definitely want to come back specifically for that. Things to note additionally is that the establishment itself is very clean. I noticed that after people pay and leave, someone comes and does a thorough job of spraying down with disinfectant and cleaning. Staff was wearing masks. Great spot, affordable, great service, can't wait to return.

Yelp
Love love Vietnamese vegan food. If I were to ever get to a point of my life where I can hire a personal chef, I want Vietnamese vegan food. Whatever Vietnamese dish you can think of, they have a vegan version here. There's also some goodies in the fridge that typically you can only find in Vietnamese deli's. Nothing fancy about the place, just your local family owned joint that has fantastic food. Didn't realized that Orlando has a mini Little Saigon, it's not that big though but for the 2 blocks, there's nothing but Vietnamese businesses. Tell me about your experience if you've been here or is going to after reading this review:)

Yelp
Always a great spot for vegan food on mills. Service is consistently quick and quality is always good! I like how it's a bit tucked away and usually quiet.

Harold J.

Yelp
Amazing vegetarian food. I had the. Bánh Canh soup and Bo Cha summer rolls. The summer rolls were better than any non vegetarian ones I've had.
google avatar

Rocio M.

Yelp
This was the best Vietnamese food I've ever had. Soooo flavorful soooo fresh. A real treat and I highly recommend to everyone!!!! I got the summer rolls and #12 with a Diet Coke. Thank you!!!!!!!!!
google avatar

Yee L.

Yelp
Food was very tasty. Hidden mom and pop place that serves vegan food (that's what the sign says). They also sell drinks, desserts and snacks too!
google avatar

Michelle M.

Yelp
This hidden gem needs more recognition!!! I am a summer roll fanatic, and these were the BEST summer rolls I've ever had, no joke! At other places you usually just get a bunch of rice noodles, plain lettuce, and a small basil leaf if you're lucky, but THESE were loaded with delicious flavors and a nice crunch! The jicama, carrots, peanuts, fried shallot, and other mix of toppings and veggies were just sooooo good. Not to mention the rolls are HUGE and thick. The peanut sauce is also so yummy and creamy. This spot is now my go-to when the summer roll cravings hit.
google avatar

River N.

Yelp
Absolutely loved this little vegan gem!! The whole menu is vegan and they have heaps of gluten free options. The menu doesn't list the gluten free options but our server was so helpful and let us know which items on the menu were GF-friendly (all of the vegan imitation meats have gluten). They have a fridge of homemade desserts and drinks as well as a fridge bar of additional appetizers and snacks. My partner & I had a summer roll, a fried rice dish made GF, a noodle soup bowl, bamboo shoots & a tofu roll. Everything was delicious. The broth was epic. Also the Thai iced tea is divine!

Kali F.

Yelp
After evacuating from our coastal town to Orlando and living off snacks in our hotel room for 24 hours, finding this cozy vegetarian Vietnamese spot was just what we needed. Everything was fresh and delicious, with attentive and sweet service! The soups were amazing, and the vermicelli bowls were a favorite. If you enjoy Vietnamese food, this place is fantastic for all diets--even meat eaters will be pleased!
google avatar

jessica m.

Yelp
Fresh plates, mostly hot plates. Simple and some not-simple but all delicious. We got the sampler and the 3 entrees course (eggplant and ginger, sautéed shiitake, and soy drumstick). All delicious and your stomach feels great afterwards.
google avatar

Nicole S.

Yelp
Nice staff at a vegan-friendly casual spot. We love their fake-meat options and the taro dessert (not pictured).

Yelp
5 stars 5 stars 5 stars! I came across this spot running some errands and the other Yelp reviews steered me in the right direction. As a first timer I walked in and the staff was so welcoming! The service was great, and the food was somehow even better. The owner is so sweet and makes everything in house with love. I would recommend this place 100 times over. And everything is Vegan. Come show this place some love!

I'm J.

Yelp
This place is a cute small vegan/vegetarian Vietnamese restaurant, very hole in the wall but clean. They even have multiple hand sanitizers incase you want to freshen up before eating. I went to this place to get the veggie spring roll and veggie & tofu pho. Spring rolls were nice and refreshing and the pho felt very clean and heathy, not too strong or msged up. You know when you want to have something good and healthy that's not a salad? This hit the spot. They have a variety of seasoning so that you can season the broth the way you like. I like mine spicy so I put in some chili flakes and a bit of sriracha. I had a stressful morning on this day, but coming to this restaurant, I felt at ease. Food was clean and comforting and the cute grandma and nice lady who took my order and served me food made me feel so calm. Price is super affordable, the appetizer and pho came out to $15. I also got the coconut jelly to take home ($7). Dessert was just ok, it was on the blander side, even for someone who doesn't like overly sweet food. Probably wouldn't get the dessert again, but I would definitely go back for the food and relaxing atmosphere! For the price point and what you get, I would give this place a 5.
google avatar

Yvette Y.

Yelp
Delicious!! All homemade and the best customer hospitality! You may have to wait a bit BUT it is well worth it. Love Vegan dining and this place is one of the "best':))! SmiLing with goodness.

Yelp
My first time at Veggie Garden and I ordered Spicy tofu and rice for take-out. Service was a little slow around the Sunday lunch rush as the restaurant has a small footprint and a handful of staff. However, once we placed our order, it took less than 5 mins for the order to be prepped and bagged for takeout. The tofu tasted very authentic and was very well-seasoned (and not too spicy). The meal was surprisingly satiating and budget-friendly. VG has a large selection of vegan and vegetarian menu offerings. If you're in the mood for authentic home-cooked Vietnamese vegan and vegetarian food be sure to give VG a try.
google avatar

Moriah L.

Yelp
Please eat here so they can stay in business forever and I can keep eating here forever. It is SO nice to have an entirely vegetarian Vietnamese spot around. The service has always been great and very prompt. Everyone is super nice. The food is delicious. Probably my second favorite vegan pho ever, and I'm very happy to have that so close to me. It's thought to decide what to get when there are SO many options. I love this place go eat there and then keep eating there. Get one of the giant fluffy dumplings while you're at it they're delicious.
google avatar

Saul S.

Yelp
Food was yummy as before. The server was caring and knowledgeable. It is a very small place but very comfortable. We will definitely be back.
google avatar

Yelp
i ordered the bún huế and i must say, the food here is so delicious! the broth is super refreshing and the tofu has a great flavor. the taro pudding was my personal favorite! the chunks of taro are covered by a purple sweet rice and are complemented by a salty coconut cream on top. nice environment, slightly tucked away (i like to sit by the window). the owner is super kind and deserves all the support! :)
google avatar

Anna L.

Yelp
Small hole in the wall tucked away in a small corner with other stores. You'll blink and miss it, we u-turned 4 times before figuring out where it was located. Family ran. Lots to chose from, food is really good. Lots of Vietnamese dishes that are recreated vegan style. There's a deli counter where you can pick up premise things, delicious and priced very reasonably.
google avatar

Yelp
Everything we ordered, and I pretty much got 1 of everything on the menu, was delicious! We will definitely be back. My son is vegan but the food was enjoyed by the carnivores in our family as well. We didnt try any of the desserts but we will next time for sure. Looking forward to eating here again!
