Concerning that's not being done daily as a food and health safety default. Vegan or not, no one likes stale food for over $80

I absolutely love this place! Got the "asada" veggie quesadilla, and it was AWESOME! I love their strawberry lemonade, and the cauliflower nuggets too! If you are into plant based foods, this is a perfect spot! The food gets eaten so fast, I never have a chance to take a picture. Update: Really surprised how empty the restaurant was on a Saturday night. The food, and service was amazing as always. I did manage to take a few pics of the crispy chkn sandwich, and drink this time. Let's rally and give VeggieGrill some love.

Great plant based options!! Food is fresh tasting and pretty nicely seasoned. They have a banh mi steak version w pickled veggies, which is pretty darn tasty. Nice healthy options. I particularly like their protein greens and far east rice bowl. Wish their outdoor area was a little more cozy or inviting.

Love this place go her almost everyday after gym to pick me and my son up something to eat. food is so good and very creative. Nice young lady works there by the name of Lexi great person very friendly and helpful!🎉

Really good fast food concept! The restaurant was excellent in terms of cleanness, service, ambience and super fast service. The food is good but not overly amazing. I appreciate the variety of plant based urban dishes but I felt they kind Fall on the plain side. Not much flavor. We’ve had better chicken burgers elsewhere… I’m glad I added the mushrooms (+2.95$) because otherwise my impossible burger would have been way too plain. Anyways it’s good overall.

David, one of the managers was so kind. He was amazing and helped me out so much. The food here is always consistent and probably one of the best vegan restaurants in all of SoCal. I’ve been able to visit many of them, including mom and pop shops. However, veggie grill really stands up against many of them and even passes them.

Pretty good food at a decent price. Takeout took longer than expected. Plenty of free 1 hr parking on the side of the streets nearby (but can get crowded at night). Spacious and comfortable with lots of seating. Love the creativity of veggie options on the menu. The burger was pretty tasty. Sweet potato fries were very soggy and could’ve used crisping up with an air fryer. I’d probably come back in a pinch and try some other things on the menu. The concept and ambiance are otherwise fantastic.

Wonderful place for vegan food. We have tried almost everything on the menu and it was all delicious. They also have a great loyalty program. The staff is friendly and helpful.

This place has great food options and their various items were tasty despite having no meat or imitation meat. Their imitation chicken sandwich tastes pretty comparable to traditional chicken . Their plates and bowls are pretty filling. The location is in the middle of many other restaurants in Pasadena. The location is pretty spacious and clean and I have seen even large parties hold banquets when I came to visit. The team members are personable and friendly by patiently explaining their food options and recommendations for newcomers.

Was just here again and got my favorite "buffalo wings". They're mighty tasty! They also came with a delicious ranch dressing!! The service was so friendly. The nice young man who helped us was very cordial and pleasant!

The service is friendly and the restrooms are clean. The salads tend to be pretty good, especially the dressings. The new tofu salad was super delicious. The truffle mac n' cheese was a bit bland, but the toppings were tasty. Veggie Grill girl was filming a video on the patio next to us and they were pretty obnoxious, but we still enjoyed our meal. Mostly paid street parking and a lot behind the restaurant.

Veggie grill is never a disappoint !! It's always so fresh and delicious! I love that they keep changing up the menu so their is always something new to try when you visit . Service is great Food is amazing Reasonable prices

Parking: it's tricky finding a spot in the parking lot due to several other restaurants being nearby My boyfriend and I were looking for a well-rounded and flavorful quick bite. He picked us up two kimchi beef bowls and while he finished his--I'll definitely have leftovers! I liked that every bite had a full flavor palate with a wide range of veggies.

Vegan food done right. Simple, tasty and satisfying. I'm not a vegan but enjoy grabbing a Heather bite once in a while and veggie grill always hits the spot. The Santa Fe chicken sandwich is flavorful and you wouldn't know it's a plant based patty. It reminds me of the chicken sandwich you order and Burger King. The all hail kale salad is my go to dish with a small lentil soup. Even though it's a salad you won't leave hungry. The pre toss the salad so the kale is still crunch but too firm and hard. This location has easy parking, clean seating area and friendly staff.

A favorite location of mine. Always genuinely friendly staff and quick service. The drinks are refreshing and not too sweet, and the food is tasty and filling. I usually get the Santa Fe Chikn sandwich and buffalo chkn strips, but during this visit, we tried some of the new menu items since they had a BOGO deal. We had the Ranchero Fiesta bowl, which was so good and had so much flavor! The Caesar crunch wrap and the Sesame tofu Super Greens bowl were also very tasty, but my favorite thing was the extra yummy almonds on the sesame tofu bowl. They have plenty of seating inside, which usually has a calm and quiet vibe and also a small outdoor patio area facing the main street. There's plenty of parking in the back as well as limited front street parking. And it can get hard to find parking during dinner rush hour. The restrooms are located towards the back almost outside of the restaurant, and a code is needed for access. Bonus: If you check in with Yelp, you get a small dessert cookie, which is also vegan. Enjoy!

Far East Bowl is shocking with how it makes your tastebuds stand up and dance out of deliciousness!!!! It has unique flavors that I can't explain. I am not the healthiest eater so when I saw the name of this place, I judged it. And I regret not trying it sooner because it's SO TASTY, leaves you feeling full and healthy, and the prices are super reasonable!!! There are lots of places to dine in and the area is really clean and has cute decorations. Food took a little while but I guess it shows how fresh it really is!! Definitely am coming back here!!!

I've always seen Veggie Grill and I finally got to try it for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised by the food here! You order at the counter and get a number to put at your table, so you can be in and out if you're on a time crunch. They have a huge variety of vegetarian and vegan options like sandwiches, burgers, Mexican food, and more. As someone who is not vegan or vegetarian, I was impressed by the tacos - not only for the flavor, but also for the proteins used. The burger was also very tasty and well made. Guac was also an easy win for us! The only thing I would NOT order is the mac & cheese as the cheese they use was not great at all, and we did not like this. Solid spot and happy I got to try Veggie Grill!

A few folks had recommended this place to me as a solid vegan option. I finally had the chance to come thru and wasn't disappointed. I ordered the mushroom asada as a bowl. Super good!!!! It's definitely a lot of food; for how much I eat it was good for 1.5-2 meals. I liked the flavor combo quite a bit. The meal was a bit rice heavy but still very satisfying and filling. Also sampled some of their sweet potato fries which were pretty decent. Prices were reasonable as per the portions served. Food was prepared quickly too. I'll definitely come thru again!

I haven't visited Veggie Grill in almost 6 years, and I couldn't help but visit this one when I noticed it was close to somewhere that I was visiting. I ordered the Far East Bowl, and I enjoyed all of the ingredients. The crispy sesame chicken was indeed fresh and crispy. The midnight lentil mix were a nice bed of grains, and I really enjoyed eating it. The roasted garlic broccoli were lightly steamed and still crisp, and the pickled fresh vegetables and fresh herbs were a delight. Top that off with Thai cocounut curry sauce, and I'm weak... I'm definitely going to be back. The only small pet peeve and sadness that I have is that the portions are noticeably small, but that's only a small annoyance for bites of healthy happiness.

Today was a chance to actually try dining in at a Veggie Grill. Extremely friendly host that took our orders, Alondra. The Ultimate Veggie Burger for me, the Sonoran Bowl for my wife. We also shared an order of fries and we both tried their lemonade. The food was definitely better dining in than the last sampling we had from this chain. My burger patty was almost overwhelmed by the other fillers inside the sesame seed bun, but still tasty and filling. Very good fries and lemonade too! We were both satisfied and would gladly return to try other menu options.

We always passed by Veggie Grill many times, but never was motivated to try since we are not vegetarians/vegan. We do like veggies but not really into veggies that pretends to be meat. At the beginning of the new year, we decided to finally give it a shot. Their menu consists of vegan burgers, sandwiches, salads and bowls. Hubby and I shared: Crispy Cauliflower - tempura battered with a tangy orange sauce on the side. The batter was a bit too thick, it would have been better if they offered just a regular roasted cauliflower. Japanese Katsu sliders - made with fried Impossible burger, top with pickled veggies and aioli wrap in a steam bao bun. This was actually my favorite item and it was tasty. Harvest bowl - Mushrooms, butternut squash, spinach, beets over a bed of grains. I was actually excited that it has all my favorite veggies but then chipotle dressings I cannot eat because it was spicy. So I mostly picked out from the top that did not touch the dressing. With Yelp check in you can get a free order 3 chocolate chip cookies. Note that these are vegan so it won't taste the same as your normal cookies. I'm glad we got to try Veggie Grill finally.

The ultimate veggie burger comes with their house made all veggie patty, sprouts, red onion, and vegan cheese. The patty was kinda thin and didn't stick together but all the ingredients were fresh and it had a good flavor.

Plastic lid was so hard that the sharp and pointed parts went into the drink when inserting the straw!! These pictures were posted with my previous review . Always one of my favorite vegan stops! Veggie grill is my can't fail vegan spot for good casual dining. I love the burgers, seasonal items and desserts. My only gripe is that they haven't yet expanded more inland in SoCal!

Very nice joint serving healthy, vegetarian made to order meals. The service was prompt with careful attention to details. Food was freshly made and piping hot. Good location , very clean and modern inside. I saw at-least 30 customers come in for carry out orders and many were regulars. If you're in the area, I definitely recommend you try this place. I ordered the mushroom burger with a side of small fries.

The crispy cauliflower and southwest nachos were delicious! The staff were friendly and they have outdoor seating.

Been passing by this spot for a while and finally decided to stop in and give it a try. To be honest, I had been skeptical on the early stages of imitation meat, but was surprised to find I enjoyed my chickin' sandwich. I think they've gotten to a point of being able to make the 'meat' crispy enough to where it hides the 'obviously non-meat' flavor profile quite well. I thought the santa fe chickin' sandwich was quite well executed. The fries were nothing to write home about, but they were, at the very least, thick and crispy. I complemented them with sriracha instead of ketchup. But I wanted to ask for chipotle aioli and forgot. Next time, perhaps.

My first time trying and I was a little nervous because it was delivery. Delicious food and it arrived hot! 10/10.

I come here twice a week for my Catalina taco salad fix. I've considered ordering other things but the salad is too good. So I'm not an authority on the menu, but if you like delicious salads, come for lunch and get the Catalina taco salad.

I love veggie grill's food but half the time when I order from this location they make the item wrong, omit ingredients/toppings, completely burn something, or mess up a bread substitution. It's getting tiring.

Disgusting. Ordered the caesar chicken wrap, burger, and nachos. Everything had way too much salt, so salty that it was inedible. Took one bite of each thing and threw it away. Made me sick. Disgusting, awful food. Don't know what happened, this place used to be good a couple of years ago, now it's garbage.

Good food but can't get the order right ever. If you order through the website and ask for no grains in your harvest bowl you'll get them anyways. Please update or fix the online order form so you can order the food the way you'd like it.

Veggie grill is a great place for plant based meal options. I ordered from here quite a bit over the past couple of years and always love their food items. I personally love their bowls and salads. They rotate in new items seasonally which is always fun and adds variety. They also have a really good drink options and The food always seems well made and prepared. The prices are on par with other restaurants or cafés with plant-based options. It's definitely somewhere I like to go but more when I am ordering delivery. The parking situation can be tricky sometimes and it isn't somewhere I personally would go out of my way for. When I ordered through door dash, the delivery came pretty quickly (only about 30 minutes from when I placed the order).

Another week, another meal at Veggie Grill. Tried out something new this time, the Chili Dog Plate. Basically comes with a chili dog, potato salad & cole slaw. Initially I was already quite happy for the portion of the meal. Just because for the price compared to other items I've had here, it's cheaper so I thought the meal was going to really small. But glad it was a fair portion. Chili dog is a solid chili dog, has enough flavor & "meaty" enough to work for meat eaters. I liked the poppy seed bun but wanted more mustard. Only real flaw being it was not warm at all. It was a Postmates order, but even so I thought it'd be just a little warm. Potato salad & cole slaw were better than I'd thought. They appeared very "mayoey" but did did not come off that way. Cole slaw is little on the sweeter side but seasoned well. Potato salad is much lighter seasoned & has a pretty chunky relish mixed in giving it a crunch. I usually get a burger here as well as the nachos, but I'd definitely get this meal again as well.

I am still a fan and supporter of veggie grill as this is the only chain that took meatless to a chain concept. They have such a diverse quick service menu of meatless items to choose from. I really like their Cajun fish (not so fish) sandwich and also their taco salad. Super friendly staff and a mobile app loyalty program as well. I hope that veggie grill continues to grow its consumer base as a non meat qsr chain they definitely have refined it to roll out nationally - I hope that more people give them a try as an alternate dining experience.

For awhile, I've seriously considered being a 'Flexitarian.' A 'Flexitarian' is someone who occasionally eats meat and fish, but primarily eats vegetables. The first Veggie Grill I've been to was the Sunset location. I was enamored by the vegetarian menu and items I've discovered from this restaurant were incredible. That was years ago, and suddenly Veggie Grill changed their menu, and I didn't enjoy it anymore so I stopped coming to Veggie Grill. Today, I decided to come here and see what's new. Immediately, I noticed the 'Reuben' and bought it for me and my brother. I asked if the vegan cheese was healthy, and the cashier told me it was made of coconut oil, so I asked them to hold the vegan cheese. Took it home, and I was amazed. The top 4 Cornbeef Reuben's I've had: 1) Gelsinger's meat & deli 2) Langers 3) Canters 4) Veggie grill. Veggie Grill's 'Reuben' seemed so real, I was genuinely shocked that it was vegan. Trust me, come here and try the Reuben.

While not always a perfect experience -- and what is? -- I've had consistent great visits here and I try to hit it up whenever I'm in the area.

I ordered the Far East Bowl to-go from Veggie Grill today. The employee at the register was friendly and very insightful when I asked him a few questions about the menu! The only issue for me was the food. The bowl had broccoli, but the menu said it would come with broccolini. This was a bit disappointing at first, but the broccoli was tasty so it ended up not mattering to me. There was very little sauce in the bowl, which made it quite dry. I was digging to see if there might be more sauce, and I found an old French fry in the middle of my bowl... which was gross. I want to give veggie grill the benefit of the doubt because I've had much better experiences at their other locations.

Healthy! Parking is convenient, pick up or curbside is quick-specially if you use the app!My go to is the Asian or kale/quinoa salads. They always overdress if you ask for it tossed. If you don't like your salads overdressed-ask for dressing on the side.

The service here is always wonderful they always complete my order to my liking. The food is always fresh and not once have they ever got it wrong. I want the to the Hollywood location that was terrible they limited my options because they were out of "chickn" I doing blame the cashier, it's terrible management. I'll stick to Pasadena location for veggie grill

I consistently have a great experience at veggie grill every time I visit. The staff is always friendly and the food is always delicious. It's a treat to have one in my backyard.

One of my favorite vegan restaurants. My go to dish is their Far East Bowl with crispy sesame chick'n. Definitely recommend this place to any vegan foodies and anyone in the Pasadena areas.

The food was good, but it very help yourself to everything from napkins to utensils etc. The food quality was good but I think pricey for what it was! The large fries didn't seem like a large size.

I came on a promotion of BOGO entree, but failed to bring my friend in. I'm not sure whether this was a show stopper for me, but with COVID-19 and Omicron circulating, I really don't feel comfortable dining out and staying in a restaurant. The food is wholesome enough, but their artificial meats fall apart in the salads, so the texture appearance may be one thing, but it needs to keep together within a salad, let alone a sandwich or burger. I wish they would offer vegetables grille, such as eggplant, potatoes, zucchini or other other root plants to make a delicious hot vegetable dish that can be added to a meal or eaten alone.

During the pandemic, Veggie Grill has been offering a family deal bundle that included 4 entrees (sandwich, salad, bowl) and a choice of 1 starter or 2 sides. For a price of 40 dollars, it's an incredible deal, and my family enjoyed it often. I felt pretty safe as the staff were wearing masks properly and the pickup process after ordering online was fast and easy. Food: My favorite from Veggie Grill is the Far Eastern bowl, which is so delicious that I forget I'm eating healthy. The rueben and deli sandwiches were pretty close to the real thing imo so it's a good way to start a more plant based diet. The only negative is that portions have been getting smaller the last few times I've gone and I'm not sure if it's a permanent trend or just a different employee. Price: Pretty affordable, especially for vegan food in Pasadena. Ambiance: N/A because of Covid. Tldr: overall solid place for vegan food with affordable prices and convenient online ordering.

I'm just happy there's a lot of these around Cali. They make it easy to get vegan grub in a pinch. The item that has my outmost respect is their in-house quinoa burger. It's just perfect but never enough so I usually get the nachos (they're ok,good) and the Buffalo wing (basic, ranch needs to improve). Their drinks are some of the best in the game: hemp matcha, lavender lemonade, and watermelon mint are my favs. Happy Munchies, @aVeganAndHer

Ordered here yesterday, I find it interesting the receipt on the to go order has checked marks to confirm each item is in the bag but some items were missing. ?!?!?!? I really like the food but will not order unless in the restaurant because the sauces on the Hamburgers they use are barely a smidge. For example the Buffalo Hamburger, there wasn't even a smear. Not appetizing.

Veggie Grill has some GREAT vegetarian options. I decided to go Vegetarian (just for the first month of the year) JAN 2021! I mean... Why not? Switch things up, eat a little healthier, plus be a little more considerate of the animal lives that contributes to keeping us fed. Anyways! Not to get too philosophical, but MY POINT IS... even before going vegetarian mode I would come here regardless and get a delicious masala curry bowl with delicious crispy chikin (vegan chicken substitute). Dude! It's good! Makes me not miss meat if all food was as good as that (or the impossible burger)... Anyways, as of late I've only gotten takeout here cuz of.. you know.. covid-19. Love this area and the general neighborhood in Pasadena.

Pricy and not worth the price. Had a veggie burger combo and the veggie patty fell apart after the first bite. Super annoying and it wasn't even good. Just a gross experience.

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! So disappointed. Spent over $80 for a bland, wilted sad meal for my family. The restaurant was absolutely filthy. I cleaned our table myself with baby wipes as there was dried food and sticky sauces all over it. The staff is miserable and beyond rude. The people who work there seem so angry it makes you wonder what is going on with the management? No forks available, all tables filled with old dishes. It's shocking how bad it is. It felt like going to lunch at the DMV. This place needs a major overhaul in all areas. This is the worse Veggie Grill I've ever been to. It's so weird to me as other locations people are friendly, the food is fresher, and the place is clean. I hate giving anything vegan a bad review but this was just beyond bad. This place needs help!

My co worker and I always order from here through DoorDash always delicious just would be. Nice if they brought back the Brussels sprouts
