Vehicle City Tacos

My husband and I came from Pa for a wedding and wanted something other than restaurant food and found this on google. We got 4 different tacos and they were AMAZING!!!! If your in the area stop and get tacos.

Waited 30 minutes (no exaggeration) for 2 tacos and chips/queso. Tacos were good but did not get what I asked for on them. Queso was more like a nacho cheese dip.

Great place for street tacos 🌮. Located at Tenacity Brewing in the back of building. Served up out of a food trailer. The staff was amazing. Friendly and fast for the amount of orders. There was live music playing while we waited for our order. The atmosphere was like sitting in a park with a group of friends. Tacos 🌮 were delicious 😋. Had the regular made with chorizo. Highly recommend 💚💯💯

This place is a nice little food truck located outside Tenacity Brewing. They offer a nice little variety of taco/nacho selections. Each selection is either a tacos or nacho version. Very good tacos/food.

Ordered the green oinker as a bowl, absolutely no flavor. The shredded pork was basically a paste. Then ordered a Seoul man as a bowl, thinking it would have more flavor, there was so much gristle in the steak it was practically inedible. Won’t be ordering again.

Update: The last two trips I've made here, I've gotten almost refrigerator cold tacos. I'm not usually one to complain, but these aren't the cheapest tacos. 4 of the 8 I've ordered were terrible. I'm not changing my ratings, though, in the hopes they'll see this and fix it through quality control. The Seoul man is literally my google photo. The sauces and they way they combine the perfect ratio of meat to the other toppings are the key. I usually order 3 tacos, and they are pretty decent size. My girlfriend typically gets two tacos and we usually spend about 30 bucks or so for 2 people. Great splurge spot if you got some extra cash and you want to try something new. They're located behind a brewing company, so if you want to have a drink, that's a plus, but the truck itself doesn't have pop/soda and I feel like that's a missed opportunity. Get out there and support local business and grab some tacos.

Best tacos around! I look forward to every time that i get to eat here. Great food and really cool spot to hang out and have some drinks outside.

I stop here at grab food at least once a week! Each taco comes with two corn tortillas and its piled high. I personally like to use the second tortilla and split the taco into two. They also offer nachos and bowl versions of your fav taco if youre feeling extra hungry. I’m unsure if they’re still making their own tortilla chips, but in past years they have and they were wonderful. I recommend this spot to very one ☝️

Taco truck located at Tenacity Brewing in Flint and honestly brilliant food. Take a look at the pictures and you see they pack their corn tortillas to the brim with deliciousness. I had the chicken and the steak and they were perfect. There was one that was intriguing to me, but not sure bulagi and kimchee taco would be great after three beers. My friend ordered a bowl which he devoured without hesitation and the nachos his wife ordered were the size of a small child's head. Truly amazing. Loved it

This place gives me hope about flint everything about It is absolutely great I always have a great time at this brewery. The root beer is great. I'm not a big drinker so I'm very glad that they have that option. The tacos are amazing. The clucker the original the Korean barbecue every single one of the tacos is very tasty. Always friendly staff. Make sure to buy some hot sauce for the road flint.. I wish you guys had a food attraction in the winter

When they first opened it was much better. Now it seems the prices have been raised and the quality is lacking. Their tacos are alright but the last couple times I've eaten them the shells aren't cooked properly and are floppy and soggy. If you're going to use corn tortillas, they need to be heated properly or they're just nasty. The chips and queso for $8 is a bit steep- I'd be fine paying this if the chips were fresh & homemade. These are some bland bag chips with a small amount of cheese. Food trucks are expensive, which is fine when the quality is there. I just can't say this to be true for VCT. Also, wish the clucker was still fried chicken- now it's just cubed chicken.

Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhmmmmaaazzzingggg tacos! Do yourself a favor and get here! Have the Seoul Man taco or taco bowl, both with extra sauce, and you will be in heaven!

I prefer the regular taco (chorizo) over any of the other meat options. I really wish they would bring back the fried clucker. The smoked clucker is OK but not a favorite. You can ask for the nacho chips in a separate bowl so the chips don't get soggy. Check this place out and have a tenacity beer.

Every ingredient in The Oinker is something that I would eat in large quantities on its own (well... maybes not solo cilantro, but yea), so to see that someone had the idea to put them all in a double-shelled taco and sell it out of a truck... yes, I am absolutely 100% all for it. The ratio of toppings to meat is just right (very generous helpings of both), and everything tastes superfresh and perfectly prepared. The size of each individual taco is quite perfect as well, because it's satisfying enough for a mildly hungry person. Taco x2 would definitely qualify as a full meal that will leave you stuffed and happy. Protip: this is one of my favorite spots to hit up at the Farmers Market! Orrrrr late nights in the free flat lot on the corner of Kearsley and Saginaw. Always a nice surprise when I see the big white truck on the way to my car. Perfect midnight snack!

Mmmm so good. They've got a truck located at tenacity brewery. You order right at the bar and they bring the food in to you. I got the chorizo as a bowl- they have the option to do chicken, chorizo or tofu in a variety of ways- tacos, nachos, burrito, bowl with beans and rice. The bowl was good but i was really full by the end of it. Good mix of flavor and just a little spice. And came with a lime wedge on the side. We also got chips and pico de Gallo. The pico is really fresh and tasty. The chips mmm the chips- highly recommend. They must be deep fried- they're so crispy and flaky they almost taste like wonton wrappers. A little greasy but so good. They were also nice and accommodating - did my bowl without dairy without any issue.

Great food. Nice people. Great value. Loved it. It's behind the restaurant building so look for it.

Vehicle City Tacos is now permanently located at Tenacity Brewing. The food is quite good w/ my favorite being the Chorizo (tacos or nachos). You can now order right from the bar which is great when the weather is cold, snowy or rainy. Grab some grub and some great beer.

Such a delight! I'm so happy that we have a phenomenal taco truck that can call downtown Flint home. Both the food and service are pretty much beyond reproach. Yes, I'm talking about a food truck, but the food is really good. I'm talking really good! Fresh ingredients, ginormous portions and everything is prepared to order with limited waiting time. At this point, I've had the Rooter, Nachos Verde sans meat, regular tortilla chips with salsa, and the Capper. There is nothing I wouldn't recommend. Another thing I love about VCT is the selection of vegetarian-friendly items on the menu- namely, the Capper and the Rooter, along with a handful of terrific sides. Plus, those items can be specially hand-prepared as "vegan" upon request. Now that's something that keeps me coming back over and over again. On top of that, my special request to leave the meat off of the Nachos Verde was no issue at all. I love how their tortillas and chips are just oily enough, but not overly greasy, just the way I like them. Thus far, the Rooter is my favorite entree, loaded with sweet potato fries, black beans, jalapeno avocado sauce and fresh cilantro and packed with flavor. It's huge and filling and so delicious, though the Nachos Verde (meatless version) is an ever bigger bang for your buck and holds its own when it comes to flavor with its pickled red onions, queso fresco and poblano peppers smothering some of my favorite tortilla chips. Yes, most of the items are a little spicier than expected, but that's because they've been dining at Taco Bell too long. For myself, I rather like the little extra "kick" the food has- it beats that bland assembly line fast food any day. My husband (and some of our friends) raved about the Oinker and especially the Clucker during a trip downtown to visit VCT after Art Walk last October. Now they've all become huge VCT devotees as well. We even got my friend, Jen, who is super picky when it comes to food, to try it and she hasn't stopped talking about it since. Admittedly, it's not super authentic Mexican fare. Nope, rather it's a Mexican-fusion style, but it's so good, who cares? Plus, the prices are unbelievably cheap. The most expensive item on the menu is the Rooter at $9 (cheaper without meat) and it feeds two people (sometimes three) easily. Most everything else is $3-$4 apiece and the portions are large. I think my husband and I have rarely spent more than $9 total together at one time and we weren't hungry afterward, either.

Located within tenacity brewing, vehicle city tacos offers delicious tacos made with fresh ingredients. While I thought the taco was small (I was expecting something bigger) I was not at all disappointed because of its great taste. The price wasn't too bad, I think I paid $7 for 'the porker' taco and a root beer. I will have to visit again so that I can try the burritos they have.

Went to the machine shop in flint and they were there. I spent all my merch money on tacos. They were amazing best tacos ive ever had and ive eaten in mexican village in Detroit. A little pricey but you 110% get what you pay for. 10/10

A great addition to downtown Flint. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Huge portions, fresh, high quality ingredients and bargain basement prices. I tried the basic tacos and the verde nachos, hold the pork. They have no problem making minor substitutions to menu items, either. Everything is so fresh and delicious. A great value. Every time I've gotten food here, I've been stuffed. You won't leave hungry, you can rest assured.

They lost my order. I waited until eight people ahead of me received their food before I got mine. The guy asked me twice (after I ordered) what I had ordered. As for the food: The Sriracha French Fries were soggy........real soggy. The taco ("The Regular") was nuthin' speshul but the sausage in it was tasty. Fair pricing. I won't return. No VCT for ME!

Had my first experience with VCT this weekend, heard a lot of good things. And they were all true. Tacos were incredible! The chipotle crema sauce made it for me. Price seems high, but for the quality and freshness of ingredients you get, it's worth it.

I tried Vehicle City Tacos for the first time last night while at Art Walk in Flint. I had the Riser. For $4 it was wonderful. Packed with lots of flavor. A real treat.

I'll start with a commendatory Haiku: Vehicle city taco Heroin to my taste buds What a great food truck It was snowing in late april, which apparently happens in flint. I was intent on finally having a VC taco, snow or not. The special that day was a coney dog taco, and holy crap was it good. Suddenly the snow wasn't so bad... It was very obvious that they used fresh, good, ingredients. Corn tortillas. Fresh cilantro. marinated flank steak. Each taco tastes distinctly different and has carefully thought out combinations of ingredients, culminating in a very satisfying foodie experience. Thanks for coming to flint guys.

I used to go to this truck after my programming class, and like you see in the other reviews, their food is great. The pricing is worth it and I often gave them tips because I wanted to see their business flourish. I stopped going because of the workers. They initially began teasing me in a more polite manner, I suppose that's normal considering I was a usual customer. Eventually I could not go there without overhearing jokes about me, and they stopped being funny ones too. Mostly stuff just based on how I looked or what I was wearing. I just gave up and figured I'd save the money for something else.

Worth the wait. These guys can't help that their taco with black beans and sweet potato fries is the stuff that daydreams are made of. They don't apologize for anarchy embodied in a boldly flavored, deep fried portobello mushroom taco. They know that their tacos are overflowing with copious toppings and that quality food takes time. Do it. Get the tacos.

I had been wanting to try VCT for a year and finally have! Caught them over by the Whiting. There was a bit of a wait but not too bad. I prefer the basic chorizo taco over the clucker and for someone who loves spicy food, the sriracha fries are not to be missed! Those were a unique experience. Can't wait to try more options.

Love Danny and the crew at VCT! I'm pretty much a VCT groupie at this point. It's great to see Flint step its food truck game up. The tacos here are BOMB DOT COM! I'm partial to the Mother Clucker, Grazer & Oinker. The fiery nachos are also great when available. More than your average taco, but well worth it. Don't show up looking for ground beef on a tortilla! It takes a minute to get your food, but that's because its made to order. Loving VCT & Taco Life!

Incredible, unique offerings. Top quality ingredients prepared fresh to order. This is a dining experience everyone should try. My favorite; the Seoul Man. It's a Korean barbecue beef fusion taco. Incredibly delicious. Try the fresh cut fries and delicious nachos too. Not the same old fare. It's amazing!

Just had their tacos and OMG are they amazing!!! I am a total foodie and these were a food-gasm! All the ingredients are fresh, local, and on point. Unique flavors and options for all types of palates. Vegetarian/ Vegan options too! Be sure to get the fries! Can't rave enough!

Fantastic food, the Oinker is my go to taco, so good. I heard about them for a while before I ever had one, now I get cravings for them. The ingredients are fresh, the sauces and aioli's are amazing.

I have had the clucker, the rooter, and the siracha fries. The clucker was phenomenal. I really really enjoyed it. The fries were also really good, although not as good as I was hoping (I would still order them again). I was surprised to like the curry ketchup as I normally do not like curry. I was rather disappointed in the rooter. I think it has the potential to be great, but it seriously lacked some seasoning. All in all I really like their food and highly recommend it. No love having food trucks in the area!

Some of my friends think I'm crazy, but I will drive out of my way to find the taco truck. Some nights you just have to have a clucker. No doubt fresh ingredients are used and I've yet to have something off the menu I didn't like. The spicy nachos are a little too hot for my taste, but there's no denying the flavor is there. When they're parked at Tenacity brewing on a Tuesday night, that's a tough combo to pass up. Highly recommended.

Some of the most delicious tacos I've ever had. I'm not one for pico or onions but to eat these tacos every topping is meant for the best flavor. I ended up getting one clucker and one oniker, could choose which on was better, both delicious! I got these at Remax Select on Hill Rd, a great location and opportunity to try the tacos. The only reason I did not give 5 stars in the wait and lack of some of the menu choices. Would recommend to anyone and everyone!

Outstanding food truck! Great people and GREAT food! Haven't had a bad meal yet! I love how they can make it mild or super hot, however you like it, they can accommodate! Anytime I see them I make sure I stop and order something! You can't go wrong! If you haven't tried them yet, make sure you try them the next time you see the truck out and about!

The Seoul man is a new addition to the menu but, in my opinion is the best taco rendition of traditional Korean food. Quick service and good hours of operation. Seems to be another local favorite.

VCT is the best in Flint! Everything I have tried off their menu has been better than last. Chase That truck down, you will not be sorry!

Tacos are really really good- i only have to say that they are a bit on the spicy side for my taste, however all the ingredients were really fresh. I got the mushroom one.

Amazing food and good local focus. Prices aren't too terrible and the service is quick. Best of all, it brings something new that Flint didn't have before.

I was so impressed with every level of service provided by Vehicle City Tacos when they catered my wedding. Dan and his team were not only professional, but so much fun and personable! They drove all the way to the Toledo area for my wedding and not once did I see anything but smiles from these amazing folks. And their tacos - HOLY SMOKES THEY WERE GOOD. I've had so many guests tell me that they were the best tacos they'd ever eaten, and I could not stop eating the amazing sriracha fries. I was determined to have a food truck at my wedding and it truly could not have been more perfect. I would give ten stars if I could.

The taco (The Regular) was delicious. The french fries were awesome (one order is enough for 2 people). It was well worth the 6 dollars I paid. I'll be hitting this place up at least once a week from here on out.
