Vella Wine Bar + Kitchen

Had padrón peppers and burrata plate with prosciutto, peach, tomatoes, and greens. Delicious! The only thing that I didn’t like about the place was that our waiter failed to suggest me a beer according to my preference - she just didn’t know the menu. Otherwise, it seems like guests enjoy the restaurant, and so did we.

Wow - first of all - we have always loved Vella as a place to grab dinner and brunch (the chef is amazing!) but our love for this place is through the roof after working w/ the owner and her staff over the last few months to plan our wedding reception that took place this weekend! The ambiance was perfect, the vibes were exactly what we wanted and our friends and family have been raving about the entire experience - we will be lifelong Vella patrons :) If you are thinking of dining or having an event there - stop thinking - go now and see Jenia (owner) and she will take great care of you!

Vella Wine Bar + Kitchen did catering for our SPA party. The food was delicious, everything was paired perfectly to go for our wine tasting event. Also, very beautiful presentation.

What can I say, the kale salad & mushroom flatbread are very good, very tasty. But shrimps & clams over the rice is ok, rice is horrible. Plus huge minus for the smell inside the restaurant. They have very poor ventilation system, it seems like you eat in their kitchen. Поменяйте пожалуйста вытяжку!!!

If you miss out trying the lobster salad and ceviche this summer, don't worry, there's always next year cuz they'll be here again next Summer WHY? BECAUSE they are an INSPIRATION and an UES Uptown CONSISTENT restaurant that has staying power!!! Oh and if you have a love for handcrafted cocktails, you've come to the right place!!
