Nice, friendly customer service. Food was okay. There was this overpowering Chinese 5 spice flavor on the pork belly. And the pepper sauce was only a quarter full, so not enough. The papaya was severely disappointing, more like pickled veggies than a real side. And small portions too for $18. Would like to try their other items but the pork belly combo was meh.

I like that their menu is small, but with quality. They are a first come first seat and order at the register but I don't mind that, so do keep that in mind. Been here 3 times in one month. I keep forgetting take a lot of the pictures of the food before eating it. Presentation is great even on to go orders. There is a lot of great flavors. I've had the duck bahn mi, angel wings, chicken currito bowl, pho and fish tacos. The pho could use a little more flavor. Overall great so far, I hope they keep the quality up to this standard if not even improve it more. The owner is great and very welcoming. They are under staffed at times, I know they're looking but seems like no one wants to work now days.

We had the angel wings for an appetizer and they were AMAZING. 10/10. I had the Thai chicken bowl and it was pretty good, I’d say 8/10 :) My coworkers loved their pork belly entree. Great place and will be back to try more!

I was waiting for my tires to be put on at Tires Plus and wanted lunch. I started to walk to KFC but saw Vallee Deli. It was the better choice for sure! Everything is made fresh, food tasted great, friendly service and let's not forget the presentation was nice! On the same day, I brought My 12 year old Daughter back for diner. She loved the food seasonings since she's also a good cook! We ordered takeout the next day for our Saturday Movie Night! I decided to eat one of the hot egg rolls on the way out, it was so yummy I ordered a separate batch for My Daughter because she's a foodie like me! I reschedule my business mentor meeting from Caribou to Vellee instead. This will make 3 times in one week which proves how much I enjoy the food and service!!!

Same great food as the original restaurant, odd location and not as fancy though. Service was incredibly friendly and food came out quick and hot. Glad to see a good restaurants pop up in this side of Minneapolis.

So craveable….Duck Confit Taco!! Great depth of flavor with teeny little crunchies and pickled onion on top that made it perfect. The mushroom quesadilla is good if you want something with melty cheese and marinated mushroom were a tasty fresh compliment. My daughter adored the bread of the bahn mi and the bbq pork was really tasty. Highly recommend for a quick deli lunch and dinner beyond the typical!!

Kind of a self serve restaurant, first come first seating. I wish the order area was near the entrance and the pick up at the back because we were confused where to order and I felt like it created a bottleneck. For 3 people we ordered 2 regular pho, 1 dino pho and two other entrees came out to be $105 with tip. I hope in the near future they have papaya salad, it is included in the other two entrees but cannot be customized only if you ask for pepper. Servers were amazing and I know they are still transitioning to their new Asian menu

I got the bulgogi bowl and my husband got the pork belly combo. The portion could be better, the bulgogi bowl needs more seasoning.

Spectacular food, great help with the menu. We will need several visits to try everything.

This place is an order first and then sit down. The owners are wonderful! They're kind and knowledgeable about their food items and answered all the questions we had about their menu. We ordered the sausage and pork belly and wow the crisp on the skin is no joke. It balanced out the tender meat and the side papaya is a little acidic to enhance the flavors a bit more. The angel wings seem like it was stuffed with components typically found in egg rolls! The beef pho has a bit of a homemade feel to it. The broth was so flavorful that I didn't even add any seasonings to it. I will add that the portions might seem a bit small compared to their pricing, but for a small business that tastes delicious, it's our new favorite spot!

This place is in kind of a strange location, but they make it work. Getting out of my car, it smelled delicious, but I wish I had ordered differently. I had the pork burrito. It was fine, but heavy on the rice and the pork was pretty unimpressive - I wonder if it's the same they use on the bahn-mi? The little egg rolls were good but a bit expensive imo. Friends had the pho and even though I'm generally not a fan, it looked delicious! I'd say it's 3.5 stars.

AMAZING food options here. Don't be surprised but they do have a secluded menu just for this location AND their reg menu options. Come try the tasting options they have here as they blew me out of the world! Pork belly was CRISPy as ever and paired with the best sticky rice and pepper. Banh mi has great flavor and texture to it! Stuffed Angel wings were my personal favorite as it came STUFFED. Dino Pho was humongous was also very delicious is taste. For those who love the fatty and beefy flavor, this is for you Service was great! Manager was resourceful and owners was able to talk me through each dish Don't forgot to say hi to their daughters, they're so so adorable!

The cafe is super cute inside. It feels cozy and bright. I've loved Vellee since they were just a food truck. This location is great with the parking. The food is always consistently amazing. It's spicy with flavor. The currito is flavorful and a good portion. Service is counter service. Staff was patient with the people behind us when it was their first time. The seating area is small, but plenty of open tables when we went at 12 on a Saturday.

Lovely food-various spice levels ambiance-environment was clean and welcoming Service was fantastic. Used to be a food truck in MPLS, and we loved it then too! 10/10, we will be back!

The pho here is incredibly flavorful! While it is a bit oily, the broth is rich and satisfying. I found the value for the food to be acceptable and I was very pleased with the pho. I also ordered some pork belly to go. Nice and crispy, but some parts of the meat are overly salty. The accompanying sauce is also quite salty, so it is best to use it sparingly. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and will definitely return!

Excellent friendly service. Talked us through some of the menu items since it's a fusion style. I stuck with spring rolls and pho and was not disappointed. Both were flavorful with fresh ingredients. Definitely seek out this cute little counter service restaurant! The decor is nothing special but I'd rather have excellent food and stand than fancy decor and subpar eats. The food here is excellent !
