Velour feels like stepping into a little pocket of edible art. Every dish arrives like a postcard from a place where flavor and presentation speak the same elegant language.
We ordered the burrata with grilled vegetables, and it was unforgettable — creamy, fresh burrata resting on perfectly charred zucchini, peppers, and eggplant, sprinkled with seeds and bright greens. It tasted like summer evening light on a plate.
The mushroom soup was silky and earthy, topped with crisp croutons, while the borsch soup was beautifully balanced and comforting. We also tried the Ukrainian & charcuterie half board, which came with a lovely mix of flavors and textures — generous, thoughtful, and perfect for sharing.
For dessert, the Passion Fruit cake and the Dubai cake were absolute showstoppers. They looked sculpted rather than baked, finished with gold leaf and plated with matcha dust in delicate patterns. They tasted just as luxurious as they looked.
The atmosphere, presentation, and flavors all work together like a quiet symphony. Highly recommend Velour for anyone who loves food that delights both the eyes and the palate.
