Velvet Taco

First time trying this place. Shrimp bowl was good maybe a bit too spicy for my liking but overall fresh and well flavored. 3 stars for atmosphere on patio, definitely needs deep cleaning, way too many bird waste everywhere, it looks unsanitary.

Just moved to the CLT area and lemme tell yall something, after a long day of moving this was just what me and my friends needed. Megan, Nick, and I were warmly greeted as soon as walked in with smiles and positivity! We were informed about the details of the restaurant and the menu and were helped with any question we had. Now let’s talk about this food. 10/10!!!!! I’m a taco girly and theirs didn’t disappoint AT ALLLLLLLL! The flavor, the portions, the presentation, they outdid themselves and as they should! As people that work in the restaurant industry were are very accustomed to the rights and wrongs of a restaurant. They did everything right! See you next time guys!

The food was amazing. The cashier was very helpful. She told us what was some of her favorite tacos. After we got our food, she asked if we liked the food & even the manager came to the table and conversed with us. The energy was amazing.

I went after midnight with a group of 4. They were pretty busy but food came out a decent time. The staff were really friendly and the gm Sarah was super sweet and helpful. Food was really good and the velvet cake was moist. The overall atmosphere was really nice too. We will be back.

I rarely go somewhere to eat these days where the employees seem happy to be there. I spoke with a man (I wish I got his name name) but he's worked there about a year. He was awesome and the cashier made wonderful suggestions. The food was amazing! The service was great! I will be back and have recommended it to friends already!

Huge velvet taco fan from Texas. Happy that Charlotte has one. Food was solid but the manager is the reason for the 5 stars...this dude is doing it all to keep this place in line. It shows! My food took like a little long (not even) and he gave me a complimentary taco. Not necessary but good stuff my man
