Yelp
More than one star, only because the manager is a great and understanding individual.
First, I just want to start this review by saying I have been coming to this location for a long time for my lunch breaks and I've never had an issue with the drive-through ALCOHOLIC DRINK policy (which is kind of wild that restaurants are even legally allowed to serve alcohol via drive-thru in the first place, but I digress...)
I understand drinking and driving is illegal, but I was waiting for two chimichurri tacos that took well over five minutes to be made without any indication that they were on their way or that they were being made.
I've always gotten my drink before getting my meal while I wait so I've never had an issue with this before.
however, it was so hot in my truck that has no AC in the Texas heat that I starting to profusely sweat, and I just wanted my drink.
There was a white blonde girl (Kiley W) who took my order. At the beginning of our interaction she barely acknowledged me at all, and when I attempted to ask for my drink, she ignored me. So, I knocked on the window, and she only acknowledged me to tell me that they have a "doorbell" I even wasn't aware of. In all the times I've frequented this location I've never used it and have always had the same order come out promptly and in a timely manner.
She gave me my drink, and since I had been waiting for a while, it was melted, so I asked for another one, and when I got the new drink, I took a sip to cool myself off since I had been in the heat for a while at that point, and I just needed something cold in my system. Then, blondie #2 came into frame, because your Miss Kiley was too busy I guess.
The 2nd drive-through cashier had a bad attitude from the beginning too. She also did not relay to me how long it was going to take or if it would even take a moment because again, I was waiting for a well over five minutes, resulting in her taking my drink away when she saw that I was taking a sip, along with a lecture, as if she was my mother, telling me it was against the law, not necessarily telling me about their policy or that I would have to get a manager to get me a new drink.
At the end of the interaction, I was not even told one word by the cashier as she slammed the drive-thru window doors in my face mid-sentence, prompting me to have to park and enter the store because they didn't even tell me that they would need a manager's approval to relinquish my drink back to me since I had broken the seal before leaving the location (even though I've done it before in front of an employee with no issue in the past)
They were going to be fine with letting me waste my money without getting a manager's approval to then give me back the item that I paid for. Considering I live paycheck to paycheck, and this is how I choose to spend my money, THIS IS VERY UNCALLED FOR.
I come here more than once a week because it's close to my job. It's convenient and I like the food & drinks, but I probably will not be coming back to this specific location ever again because of those two girls. The manager is again, a very kind and understanding gentleman, but those two girls are rude and unprofessional.
Don't go to this establishment unless you want to get hassled by a couple of miniature Taylor Swift teenyboppers.
