I had originally wanted to go to the location that had more reviews but this newer location was closer to where I was at the time and decided to make my way here.
Spicy tikka chicken- crisp tenders, spicy pepper sauce, buttered cilantro basmati rice, raita crema, thai basil, flour tortilla ($4.25)
Fish n chips- curry mayo, malted french fries, house shred, beer battered Atlantic cod, pea tendrils, flour tortillas ($5.25)
Ahi poke (raw)- ginger soy vinaigrette, avocado, seaweed salad, pickled fresnos, sesame seeds, himalayan sea salt, micro cilantro, lettuce wrap ($6.75)
Grilled flank steak - portobello, white queso, grilled red onion, mex-oregano, corn tortilla (4.95)
The spicy tikka chicken was the best one for me and if I had eaten that one by itself, it would have been a 5 star review. If they could make this in to a burrito... this would be perfect. The basmati rice is perfect with the crema in here and mimics a curry. Oh so good. Flavors everywhere.
For the fish and chips, I thought it was good but nothing special. Especially at that price.....
For the ahi poke, having it on a lettuce wrap is a perfect complement to the fish that are in there but I think they put just a tad too much sour-ish flavor profile in here. It kinda takes over the taste of the fish that you're eating and having both the vinagrette and the sea salt kinda overpowers the entire taco. Wasn't really a fan of it.
And I love portobello mushrooms; they're extremely delicious and this place does a good job with its flavor.
They have a good amount of seating here and some water and sauces in case you need to add more stuff into your taco. The taco carrier is also kinda cool haha.
