This is our first time trying velvet taco at All. It just happened to be available at the casino. Seems a little pricey, but overall the food was decent sans the chips which were stale. Everything else was hot and fresh and pretty tasty.

Taste less tacos, nothing is fresh. My order was cold flavor less and condiments tasted like they have been outside of the fridge for a long time.

Was very excited to find this location within the Choctaw Casino. Somewhat disappointed in the experience vs The Colony location. I had the Chipotle BBQ Pork and the Angus Brisket. It was mid afternoon and a large group of 5+ people ordered before me. I expected things to be fresh, however, the fried jalapeño rings on the Chipotle were soggy and cold, and the cheese crusted tortilla on the angus taco was cold and greasy while the meat was piping hot. Leads me to believe they are pre-cooking things instead of making fresh to order. Not sure if this is the norm, but definitely brought experience down. The tacos still had great flavor: This was just not a great brand representation. Also, the menu on the wall is confusing. Are you supposed to order by number? They have numbers (not price, that’s listed) before the names…

Great food. Reasonable prices. We had the brisket nachos and chicken waffle taco. Both amazing. $12 margarita. Fountain drinks are $3.50 but there’s a casino fountain station nearby that’s free. I asked for a water and then realized I was charged $3.50 because it’s at the fountain station. Just so you know.

Brisket is delicious, just the right amount of fat and juice, very tender and just about melts in your mouth. Never had corn with pico before but dangggg it was good, the cilantro was like the cherry on top, a refreshing sweet taste almost. The guac was very fresh and light tasting. And the elotes are on point. The prices are a little high but for how good the food is, it’s honestly worth it. Gonna be sticking to this place like a magnet on metal lol

First time visiting. The tacos were good. One of the seasonings gave me an upset stomach. It wasn't the restaurant's fault. I'll just know not to order that one again.

The brisket nachos and sangria swirl are my favorite items on the menu. Both are delicious! The nachos are listed as a side but it’s the size of a meal by itself. I should have gotten the large sangria swirl because it’s almost gone and I wish I had more lol

Its New Year’s eve and this place is busy. Tacos are really good. Would recommend spicy tikka and bacon burger with hot sauce.

Yelp
Fancy tacos is what I call them, and they never really appealed to me. I would rather have a plate of street tacos. I was at Choctaw casino one weekend and had food credits to use. Not in the mood for anything else I decided to give them a try. They are located in the food court by the non-smoking area and garage elevators. Ordering was easy and the wait wasn't bad given they had just opened (11am). The staff at the counter was friendly as well as the person at the pickup counter. Plenty of seats with it being a food court but can get full during peak times. As for the food, it was tasty. I tried shrimp tacos in two different flavors. The Mexicali taco was light and refreshing with grilled shrimp, slaw, avocado, and corn pico. The Sweet chile taco delivered on both sweet and spicy notes. The breaded shrimp added a nice texture. I was satisfied with both tacos. I would come back to try the meat options when I am able to again. My family likes the chicken tikka and Kobe burger tacos so I'll definitely try those next time.

Yelp
The service was good. The people were very nice however they were out of the corn pico for the nachos. so I asked for tomato pico instead, and they would not allow me to have it. I asked if it was because they were out and he asked the lady in the back and they said no we just can't serve it with the nachos so I don't know if there was just a miscommunication or what the deal was. Also when we got our nachos, there was very very little brisket on it so I was not happy with the price that we paid for what we got to eat. There definitely not the same amount of food or meat on our nachos, as the other Velvet Tacos places, super disappointed. We basically paid for chips and cheese.

Yelp
Rita took our order and Alexander was great at making our food while visiting Velvet Taco at Choctaw. Food was great we tried the elote, nachos, and red velvet cake. Soooo much food at a reasonable price.

Yelp
*3/2/2024* I know this restaurant is a chain, but I'd never tried it before visiting this one inside of Choctaw. YUM!! I immediately googled locations close to home so I could have these again! I'm so glad Choctaw opened one of these as a food court option! I also love that you can order off your phone and just pick up at the counter. There was a long line when we visited and we got our food really quickly from using this option. I had the brisket nachos and the elote guac with chips. I LOVED the elote guac! I haven't found anything like it at any other restaurant. Highly recommend as one of the best places to grab a quick bite in the casino.

Yelp
I honestly love Velvet Taco, but this location is the absolute worst. The first time we came to this location we had to let the employees know that our tacos were missing items. Luckily we go to the other locations often enough that we knew exactly what ingredients were missing from our tacos. This most recent time I waited forever for cold brisket nachos. I immediately returned them and let the manager (long ponytail guy) know that my nachos were very cold. He could literally care less. He took the nachos (no apology, no nothing) and told the girl in the back that they were cold, making inflations in his voice as he said it as if to try and mock me or like he didn't believe me. She repeated it back to him with the same voice inflations. When she started remaking the nachos she randomly yells out "guess what I'm out of brisket!" and sounded relieved about it like she's glad she won't have to make anything else involving brisket. I'm sure you can guess my replacement order of nachos was cold as well. I love Velvet Taco, but I just know not to go to there when I'm at Choctaw Casino.
