Overall, it's my impression that there is more focus on looks of the silverware rather than the look of the food.
Lea, our waitress, did a great job of putting lipstick on this pig. However the kitchen team needs to figure out their tools before they kick off a dinner service. An example is the 56C steak they serve as med-rare and can't seem to torch or put any type of sear leaving the meat lifeless, dull, tasteless, and more or less inedible. Great technique if done properly and a total disaster in the hands of a new cook.
I will spare you the details of the bottled feta in olive oil mixed with canned jalapeño picked and served with cream cheese placed along side what can only really be described as out of date sun dried tomatoes.
The pasta course was almost good. They sauce was well executed and but for the crunch herb garnish and over done qual eggs might have saved the evening. But alas, we're stuck with mediocre food that was ill prepared.
