Vender Bar

Friday night is pretty noisy. We ordered bubur cha cha, and 2 other drinks with several dishes. The idea of drinks is pretty tide, but I did not tasted any alcohol from bubur cha cha, and my friend's drink only tastes whiskey. The Bak kut teh is not that good, but bbq is good.

I am absolutely in love with the environment of this bar! Everything about it is so amazing, the cocktails are so unique and delicious, I have never experienced anything like it before. The service is top notch! The bartenders know English and they are so kind. The creativity of the cocktails is very impressive and the bartenders are very skilled! I could not recommend this place more! You have to go here 🥰

Lovely and interesting cocktails based on Malaysian/Singaporean flavours. All the staff were attentive and welcome and had a fun atmosphere with western 80s and 90s hits playing.

The problem with this place is not the drinks, it's the ambience. The drink of cos above average, hence #30 in top 50. Love the gimmick of sensory box, but didn't seem to execute well to the drinks creation. Not appreciated to be seated at the bar, shoulder to shoulder with others. the chairs and sofa zone were empty when we were there and remained empty when we left. At least u could have told us if we could sit there till certain time rather squeezing us in like a school canteen. The bar height is too low, the chair is normally dining chair height, it lacks elegance of the bar counter. I was sitting next to someone who having noodle, food and watching manga on the phone. It was really a school canteen after all. Someone was right, it was probably the worst experience for top 50 bars. Really sorry

The bar inside a “vending machine”, Asia’s 50 best bars #1 in Taiwan. Cocktails are mainly in Singapore style, infused with the flavor ofSingaporean signature food, we’ve tried several mocktails and cocktails like “Nasi Lemak”, “Milo Dinosaur”, their Bak Kuk Teh (soup, not cocktail) is tasty, worth trying if you wanna have some good drinks in Taichung.

A must visit when in Taichung. It lives up to being on Asia’s top 50 bars list. The drinks are extremely creative and well thought out. The staff there are amazing. A shoutout to our bartender Wilson, who hooked us up with the free shots and also showed great hospitality. The owner is also so friendly and took the time to talk to us and tell us the story of his bar. He has even taken his staff to Singapore so that they can fully learn about the culture there. The staff all speak great English and they take Apple Pay. We had such a good time that we came back two nights in a row. Thank you Vender, we’ll be back again!

💯 Must visit when in Taichung !!! Had the best night of the trip celebrating my birthday with my sister and the big boss Darren. Pleasantly surprised that we could find SG delights like chicken rice, laksa, ice kacang etc etc in a drinkable form in Taiwan!! Enter via the door disguised as a vending machine and try all the drinks! 😉

We were so excited to visit Vender Bar because we love cocktails inspired by Singaporean food! The entrance to the bar was a vending machine which was so unique and eye catching, and the interior was cozy & lux. Music choice was 💯!!! Certainly preferred sitting at the bar seats over the second floor tables. Our favourites were satay and the halloween special, Milo Dinosaur. The conceptualisation behind the presentation of the menu was impressive. Highly recommended to give this place a try if you’re in taichung!
