Vender Bar

[Late review] Visited in Aug 2025 Visited Vender during my trip to Taichung last year. Had made a reservation before visiting and it was a good decision because the place was quite full when I was there. The cocktail menu is inspired by some of the traditional dishes of Singapore. Being a Singaporean, that added an extra level of excitement in trying the drinks. Ended up ordering 4-5 cocktails of which the “Rendang Curry” and “Longan Tofu” were my favourite drinks. Also ordered a couple of food items which were quite decent too. Service was really good and the bar staff are really nice folks who ensure that you have a good experience when you’re here. Overall, definitely a bar worth visiting if you’re in Taichung.

What a great experience! Cocktails were unique, tasty, and very well balanced. Darren and team were knowledgeable and really on top of service. We honestly just felt so welcomed. I need to go back and try the rest of the menu now.

My fiance and I ordered 4 drinks: Kueh Salat, Milo dinosaur, Chicken Rice & Cereal Prawn. The Kueh Salat has to be one of the best drinks I ever had & also being quite authentic in its taste. The chicken rice drink was incredibly unique & delicious whilst being strange. A highlight of our evening was Jason, our waiter who was so kind and conversational. We chatted for a bit & he also told us about the drinks with great detail. Truly made the evening even better. Overall, would recommend. Drink are experimental yet delicious. The only thing I would like to see is a stronger & cohesive aesthetic concept. The decor & aesthetic didn’t quite reflect the menu & regional inspiration. However, would come back for the drinks & Jason!

Incredible cocktails, accompanied with a small bite that creates a whole experience and explosion of flavours when mixing the food and the drink. We were also offered a complimentary shot of a Singaporean inspired drink as the owner was from there. I definitely recommend it as the staff is super friendly and they explain everything!

I am absolutely in love with the environment of this bar! Everything about it is so amazing, the cocktails are so unique and delicious, I have never experienced anything like it before. The service is top notch! The bartenders know English and they are so kind. The creativity of the cocktails is very impressive and the bartenders are very skilled! I could not recommend this place more! You have to go here 🥰

Friday night is pretty noisy. We ordered bubur cha cha, and 2 other drinks with several dishes. The idea of drinks is pretty tide, but I did not tasted any alcohol from bubur cha cha, and my friend's drink only tastes whiskey. The Bak kut teh is not that good, but bbq is good.

Lovely and interesting cocktails based on Malaysian/Singaporean flavours. All the staff were attentive and welcome and had a fun atmosphere with western 80s and 90s hits playing.

The bar inside a “vending machine”, Asia’s 50 best bars #1 in Taiwan. Cocktails are mainly in Singapore style, infused with the flavor ofSingaporean signature food, we’ve tried several mocktails and cocktails like “Nasi Lemak”, “Milo Dinosaur”, their Bak Kuk Teh (soup, not cocktail) is tasty, worth trying if you wanna have some good drinks in Taichung.
