Boston Restaurants With Best Views | Eater Boston

"This waterfront restaurant in Dorchester does brisk wedding business, partly thanks to its beautiful skyline and water views. The menu features plenty of Italian American classics, from chicken parmigiana to veal saltimbocca. After your meal, hang out at Boston Harbor Distillery next door." - Erika Adams

Boston Restaurants With the Best Views | Eater Boston

"Venezia’s expansive Italian menu and views of the Boston skyline make it Dorchester’s marquee waterfront dining experience. Go for the Sicilian seafood salad and stay for the lobster cacio e pepe. It’s readily bookable for events, too, including weddings. Follow dinner with a trip to Boston Harbor Distillery or Boston Winery, each mere steps away from the restaurant." - Celina Colby

I have photographed several weddings at The Venezia and it is always stunning! It is a hidden gem in terms of photo locations. The skyline and scenery make for a perfect backdrop for any couple. The food is outstanding but most is impressive is the Venetian dessert table! The staff is also wonderful. They are kind, attentive and efficient. I know I am in for a fun night of work when I have a wedding at the Venezia. @alirosaphoto

Went for coffee and dessert after a wine tasting at Boston Winery where they served apps from Venezia as part of the pairing. The apps were very good. We sat in the bar area and service was good. Our server was very attentive without being too annoying. It was a Thursday night, so not many people were in the bar area. Very upscale look and clean.

We had our son's wedding celebration in the event space at Venezia and we couldn't be happier. Everything about the evening was just perfect, the food, the music and all of the staff. Thank you to each and everyone of you.

THE SERVICE: Hostess provided a friendly greeting, confirmed our reservation, and then escorted us to our harbor view table. Waiter arrived shortly thereafter introducing himself, and then orienting us to the menu as new customers. After ordering refreshments we were served complimentary warmed focaccia bread with a delicious herb butter crust. All food items arrived well timed and at the perfect temperature. THE FOOD: The Crab Cake appetizer had a nice flavor profile, but the texture was too dense reminiscent of a salmon croquette. Although a tasty bite, you’ll find yourself searching for the crabmeat and missing the traditional Maryland style preparation. The Chicken Risotto was cooked to perfection. Every ingredient was complimentary lending to a delectable standout bite- compliments to the Chef. THE ATMOSPHERE: This restaurant achieved the feeling of being invited into someone’s home for a special meal. I appreciated the scenic views and hospitality. My table-mate and I easily conversed as we were not competing with loud music. I’ll note, I dined mid week so the experience may differ during peak times. THE VALUE: Excellent price points for the quality of food, service, and location. Onsite parking with ample spaces- huge bonus when dining in the city.

Google
We have provided balloon decor for MANY events at Venezia and it is always a pleasure to work with their friendly staff! It is beautiful venue and great view of the water. FESTINI has provided balloons bridal showers & baby showers at this space. Highly recommend.

Google
Been here quite a few times for work functions and a few times personally and it’s always just for the atmosphere, to be in the water. The food is just so-so and the portions are so small. Again it’s definitely priced just for the atmosphere. The bartenders are nice but the last waiter we had did not want to be a waiter.. barely provided service, and smelled like he lived in a dumpster.

Google
Sat inside against the windows and had the most gorgeous view of the water. The food from apps to dessert was absolutely delicious. Our server was Gerald and he was very kind and attentive. There was a large parking lot with free spots!

Food was wonderful, staff left a lot to be desired unfortunately.

Yelp
We had the best foods and treats and the staff were all very attentive and polite! The table settings were tasteful and it made the atmosphere a perfect venue ! Very spacious and super clean and a very enjoyable time at this location! The spread of desserts was truly amazing ! Lots of details were definitely made it all worth while! The bartender made exceptional drinks and the evening flowed seamlessly! Great memories were made here!

Yelp
Five of us went here Saturday evening to celebrate a 60th birthday of a friend.. had a limo take us in and home so we could really enjoy our time out together. The birthday girl chose the restaurant and it did not disappoint. We had 3 different meals which all were very good. Their focaccia bread was without a doubt the best I ever have eaten. We ended up with cioppino which was crazy good..Chicken Limone was wonderful as was the veal Oscar. Our martinis were perfect and our server Chris was amazing.. We all had a great time and would go back in a minute.. Thank you to the staff for making our birthday celebration one to remember.

Yelp
This restaurant has an incredible waterfront location, with a gorgeous city view. Half of it is a venue, the other half is a spacious dining area. The dining room was very busy for a later reservation, but service was good. The house focaccia was delicious. The italian wines are great, with generous pours. We ordered the meatballs and arancini to start, which came out very fast (almost too fast). The speed and manner in which they came out makes me think these are usually "on deck" and always available in the kitchen for fast expo. Regardless, the arancini were great, and the meatballs were good (but a bit dry). Presentation was OK for the whole meal, a little lazy plating, especially for the entrees. We got the steak and the salmon: the steak was perfectly complimented by the onion rings, and the salmon was perfectly cooked. However, the sweet potatoes didn't really seem cohesive, even though delicious. The beet salad was delicious, though the basil aioli was just fine. If I come back I'll definitely try a more "traditional" dish, though it was all very good all things considered. We finished with the lemon cheesecake, which was the perfect size for two people. It was tart but not overpowering, and I'd highly recommend it.

Yelp
Truly a fantastic dining experience. The most authentic to Italy feel from the service to the food. Incredible views, remarkable wine, and delicious dessert. Will come back if I'm in Boston again.

Yelp
We had our wedding at Venezia on 6/29/24 and it was absolutely perfect. Jennifer was our coordinator that we worked with throughout the entire process. She was so helpful and organized during the entire planning phase and truly listened to each one of our requests to make them a reality. The food was phenomenal, we have had so many guests reach out to say how delicious everything was, from the massive cheese display to the portion sizes of the dinners and the dessert table was HUGE. There was plenty of food and plenty of staff to assist all 250 of our guests. As the bride and groom, one staff member, Rob was nearby us all night for any single thing we needed and to ensure we were having a great time. He was so helpful! The timeline of the entire day went off without a hitch, once again thanks to Jen for understanding how we wanted everything to flow and to the entire staff for executing. There were no delays in getting food to tables and the entire ceremony and reception flowed smoothly. The newly renovated second floor space is STUNNING. We had our ceremony up here and it was beautiful. The venue has ocean views on both levels and a beautiful deck that guests were able to use during our reception. I can not recommend Venezia enough for a wedding or any other event - they are truly professionals and experts at what they do. Our day was perfect and we are so happy this was our venue.

Yelp
I have wanted to come here for a while. We were sat outside, which was nice, it was a bit of a colder night so there were only a few of us outside. Sat at a table without settings when three others did. Eventually took the place settings off another table after the bread came and we didn't have any. After our first drink order our server came back to us after 20 minutes and we needed to call out to him as if we were not there. The bar was quick, when our server came over we did get our drinks quickly. The bread was delicious and kept us full while we waited. One table on the patio had a white table cloth, I was disappointed that we did not. After ordering a $42 meal, it was very good, I had Treasure of the Sea; Maine lobster meat, sea scallops and shrimp tossed with pappardelle pasta, in a pesto cream sauce. We started with crab cakes which were very good. I am not sure we will return.

Oscar M.

Yelp
High quality seafood... even simple dishes are created with equally high standards..service is also equally high my server was aware of all the details to the dishes and wine the server i always go to is Chris.. he's always in the bar section or actually bartending

Yelp
I keep forgetting about this restaurant. I haven't been here in years. Decided to bring my mom for lunch last dinner. We had the short ribs with whip mashed potatoes and carrots. This is actually dying out week so we had a three course meal. It was delicious. The stuffed mushrooms was delicious as well. My drink was a peach cobbler martini and it was very strong but delicious.

Sheila M.

Yelp
Went here following graduation. I ordered the chicken parm. It was Ragu spaghetti sauce, the chicken was so plain, no flavor. I was with a large group, I knew it wasn't going to be great when all our food came out within 10 mins. Everything was just reheated. Great view, but that was it. I will never return.

Yelp
I had high hopes for Veznia's in Boston, but my experience was incredibly disappointing. The service was painfully slow despite the restaurant not being very busy. We had to wait nearly 30 minutes just to place our order, and another 45 minutes for the food to arrive. When it did, the dishes were lukewarm and lacked flavor. The pasta was overcooked and mushy, and the seafood was far from fresh, leaving a bad aftertaste. The ambiance was also not what I expected for a place with such high ratings. The lighting was too dim, making it hard to see the menu, and the music was so loud we could barely hold a conversation. Additionally, the staff seemed disinterested and unwelcoming, which added to the overall unpleasant experience. Considering the high prices, I expected a much higher quality meal and better service. Unfortunately, Veznia's did not deliver on either front. I won't be returning and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for a good dining experience in Boston.

Yelp
Absolutely gorgeous waterfront views. The ambiance is awesome and it's so beautiful in there. There is also a huge east parking lot! The food is great. I wish they had more non seafood pastas, but I absolutely I loved the short rib.

Yelp
This place is hidden gems, I come here very often and every single time I get the same great service and awesome food. Attractive ambiance. I highly recommend it for a satisfying dining experience. A must-visit for food enthusiasts and ambiance seekers."

Yelp
I've had three dinner events there ! It is like a hidden gem. Very classy. The food is delicious and the entire establishment is nice & pleasant. Looking forward to my next event there.

Yelp
The food was okay. Ordered the blackened salmon entree that was served with Orzo and roasted veggies. The orzo and veggies were room temp while my salmon was much hotter. The service was okay as well. Nice black uniforms but nothing over the top. Felt like communication could have been better about wait time. Felt slightly rushed but waited a while for the food. Seems like he waited for all plates to be done at the same time to bring them all out but the foods were finished at different times. I'm guessing that's why some plates had room temp/not hot food. The ambiance was nice. Was with a group which I'm not sure was the best as the restaurant gave me more of a romantic intimate vibe. We weren't the only group as there was a family there with smaller children and a baby. We were the only black patrons for oat of the experience but a lovely well dressed black couple came in towards the end of meal. Appeared like it could have been a proposal night which I felt the scene was completely on brand for. Would I return here in the future?! That's a hard maybe. I've eaten out at many seafood restaurants and their menu was nothing special to write home about. Italian dishes and seafood. Slightly overpriced for length of wait and quality of food. My leftovers were better fresh hot out the microwave the next day. Not exactly the place to bri the kids for dinner but they enjoyed the food. We did take some pictures outside looking out on the water which was nice. There was also ample parking available.

Yelp
My wife and I were here for a Memorial Mother's day dinner since our parents are no longer with us! We have been here many times before and we both highly recommend this restaurant for a five star experience! Even on Mother's day with 600 reservations the service and food were exceptional as always! This was the main reason we chose this restaurant for the special day!

Yelp
Venezia was a great choice for a waterfront dining experience. Service was prompt and professional, ambiance was great, and the food & drinks were absolutely amazing. Enjoyed the good selection of options on the menu, and was particularly a fan of their Calamari, Tiramisu and Espresso Martinis. Highly recommend Venezia for a solid experience!

Yelp
I was there 12/16/23 Lamb shank was to enjoy my Brother in law BDay the restaurant was clean and I enjoyed the atmosphere

Yelp
We went to Venezia for post Valentine's Day dinner for the first time and wanted to check it out because we see it along the highway. What immediately hit us was how loud it was in the restaurant. It was very hard to hear someone even sitting right next to me. The tablecloth we had was initially dirty. We ordered 2 dishes: the roasted salmon and the shrimp carbonara. Both were lacking in flavor, with the carbonara needing lots of salt, and the roasted salmon dry and lacking definition. There was also no spoon for the carbonara, and the waiter only checked up on us once to see how the experience was.

Yelp
Nothing beats a restaurant that overlooks the water! I was very excited to come here with some friends whom recommended this place. The most spectacular moment for me was just overlooking the water. In the meantime drinks and dinner were ordered. The food came out, hot and cooked just right. The drinks could've been better but thirsty times call for more drinks

Diane M.

Yelp
We have held events there as well as had dinner many times over the years. It has always been delicious and the service very nice. This dinner started out well. We had reservations and were seated promptly near the window, celebrating our grown daughters birthdays. Our waiter, Edwin was ok. We did have flag him down a couple times. The food was delicious as usual. But... there was a couple dining next to us with four young children. They were running around the tables singing and dancing. Their iPads were way too loud. At times the mom was up dancing with them. All the diners around them were visibly aggravated as this was Saturday evening fine dining. Everyone in the area was staring at them but they were clueless. No restaurant staff said anything to them. After our meal was done but ruined, I stopped by the table on the way out. I said I understand you want a night out with the kids but maybe a more family friendly restaurant would be better. I asked them if they had noticed that the other diners kept looking at them when the kids were running and dancing? They immediately started screaming and swearing at me at the top of their lungs. They screamed "don't tell us what the F to do!" The mom started to record on her phone. The dad spit in my face yelling "where are you from? Where are you from?" I calmly said why does it matter? He yelled we come here all the time and nobody says anything to us! I felt threatened was by his violent reaction. So close to me as a woman and aggressively leaning in. In the meantime the waiter leaned in between us and picked up their check from the table, not saying anything. I was just in shock that the couple could react so violently with their children looking on. After a couple minutes a woman came over but never introduced herself, I assumed she worked there in a management capacity? She said can I help here? The man immediately started yelling saying she's trying to tell us what to do with our kids at a restaurant! She said to me "why don't we go over here? Not saying anything to the couple. As she walked me out, again not saying anything to the couple, she said you are right, absolutely right. I will go talk to them. It's not right for that behavior in this restaurant. We stood at the front desk chatting for a couple minutes as I said I was so dissapointed. I cannot believe a restaurant like Venezia would allow that to happen. Sadly we will never go back.

Yelp
Food came rather quickly and was amazing. But all together the setting was 10/10. Services and it hx

Yelp
Good food and nice atmosphere. The service was a little slow but friendly. I would return

Yelp
So much fun out on the deck with Taren tonight! Great view, great food, a hidden gem just outside of Boston. Scallops were great, eggplant appetizer was done perfectly, tuna tartare was ok - I might try things other than that dish. Great time - please go and enjoy!

Emily R.

Yelp
The treasure of the sea is delicious and the service was excellent! The flights come in frequently, but they are pretty quiet.

Yelp
My husband and I dined @Venezia Italian Restaurant to enjoy the water views. I had the salmon with caesar salad and he had the stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer, chicken parmesean with garlic butter mashed potatoes. After dinner, he ordered a strawberry sorbet and I requested 10 year port wine. At this point of the experience, the service had been ok...nothing spectacular. And the meal itself was okay. But then this happened! The picture shows what ended up in my mouth after the first sip. In case you can't make out what it is...it's a dead insect with wings. When I take it out of my mouth...I can't believe what I'm looking at! My husband turns on the cell phone flashlight and confirms it...I almost swallowed an insect. When the manager comes over, she does apologize and removes the bug from the table. She asks if I'd like a replacement or something else. At this point I am totally grossed out and want nothing else. My husband doesn't finish his dessert. The waiter brings the bill and can you believe that they took off the appetizers, dessert and wine but still charged us for the meal?!? Long story short, I will be writing a letter to their corporate office and won't be returning there to dine ever again.
google avatar

Bea T.

Yelp
I'll be honest. I looked at the menu and I wasn't totally enthused but my husband insisted to come over here to see the view. So here's the truth, the outdoor patio view is absolutely beautiful considering you see the Boston skyline. The food was quite dull. The meatballs were quite plain with nothing spectacular about it. It was tomato sauce with a slice of melted cheese. The oysters were fine, and the calamari was good but the scallops as a main course where sadly disappointing because they were small and overcooked presented with mashed potatoes and two soggy asparagus. My daughter ordered the linguine with mushrooms and it couldn't have been so plain because the linguine was all overcooked and breaking apart on the plate with a bunch of mushrooms on top. It reminded me of school cafeteria food... Totally uneventful. I did tell the waiter how I felt and he was very good about it so they gave us complimentary tiramisu which was actually pretty good but I don't think they use mascarpone cheese. Here's bottom line, if you want to see the view with a glass of wine and some apps this is a place to go but the food is really not up to standard. It has an opportunity to up its game. The food seemed to cater to people who don't know Italian food and don't really care what good food is. The place caters to a lot of functions and celebrations but that's where it stops because it tasted like typical buffet wedding food. I feel that they have an opportunity to really be a first class establishment if they tried.

Yelp
Il found the food and drinks were awesome. I would recommend to anyone in the Boston area. The view of this water with the view of the city was spectacular
google avatar

Yelp
We attended a wedding here and it is a very nice venue to have a wedding reception. The location has a nice view of the Boston Harbor from the deck. It is spacious, tables well decorated, the food was very good, we had the choice of braised beef ribs or grilled seafood combination. We had appetizers prior to the dinner and the wait staff was very nice and professional. Dessert was numerous little cakes and pastries along with the wedding cake. The DJ was very good and it even had space for a photo booth set-up. Full size bar was set up in the lobby area of the venue and the drinks were reasonably priced. Everything was terrific at the venue.
google avatar

marcia g.

Yelp
Absolutely best banquet hands down. My friends father died and requested a celebration of life rather than a funeral. Boy did they do it up right. First the setting is magnificent. All glass back facing water and Boston skyline. Second food...hot cold appetizers fruits cheeses desserts drinks main dishes.....there was nothing missing and all beautifully displayed and served.if I ever do a party it will be here. Really too shelf

Megan L.

Yelp
Clam Chowder was a stand out star! We are still talking about it several days later. Would come back just for the soup!
google avatar

Kat Y.

Yelp
Amazing view, great food, and nice service! The oysters were SO divine. I got the shrimp risotto which was tasty, but I thought it'd be a bit more creamy.
google avatar

Mary E.

Yelp
A beautiful venue that knows how to accommodate a crowd, but for me felt a little stiff. I was very lucky to be able to attend a wedding here for a couple I didn't know that well. (I was a plus one!) The views of the harbor were beautiful and it was very easy to grab an Uber to and from the Best Western Adam's hotel. The ceremony room had a divider that eventually transformed into part of the reception room. It was all very pretty, but again a little stiff. You got the feeling that this was a wedding factory. The food was not very good. Tasteless sides and an undercooked stuffed chicken breast. The bartenders were short and brief and couldn't crack a smile. Now, never have I ever complained that drinks were too strong, but this was crazy! You could hardly enjoy them because they were too boozy. It was a great wedding for the bride and groom, who seemed to love the whole evening. I'm so so happy for them, but would reconsider this venue.

Joan L.

Yelp
Truly enjoyed dinner , Great views! I had Shrimp Scampi, nice size , perfectly cooked shrimp over angel hair , Hubby loved the Veal Porcini, 2 pieces of veal, tons of mushroom in a creamy sauce over spag, he loved it!

Stephanie V.

Yelp
Food was delicious and also came fast! The sunset was so beautiful it set the perfect ambiance for our anniversary dinner. The service was impeccable.
google avatar

Yelp
We go there regularly and the place is consistently great . From Laurie at hostess station to the waitstaff and chefs , they ALWAYS do a great job . I highly recommend going.
google avatar

Nicole F.

Yelp
Ok, The view is really beautiful. I'm sure sunsets are even prettier. But other than that, not sure this place is worth the drive. Came here for lunch as part of the 'Dine out Boston" experience. I picked it because I was enthused that the menu was had alot of good options BUT unfortunately ALL the food fell short. Got the mussels for the appetizer, Its was ok, nothing spectacular. Got the salmon and risotto for the entrée, It was soooooo bland. And so oily. Even with the lime and some chilli flakes it was flavorless. Probably the blandest plate of food i've eaten in awhile! Molten chocolate cake for dessert was a cake with melted chocolate on top. Arent these supposed to be the type when you cut into it, it oozes chococlate..???? I like that theres free parking, thats always nice. Maybe an app and drink spot to enjoy the view but i wont come back for a full meal.

Yelp
Outstanding, Amazing and absolutely perfect!! Those words still are not enough to express how impressed I was with the services provided at Venezia Restaurant, Boston for my daughter's wedding on New Year's Eve 2023. As the mother of the bride, I got to enjoy every single moment of the wedding because of 'Jen McGuire', Venezia's wedding coordinator, who had every detail covered throughout the evening and kept everything on track - literally like magic and a brush of her wand. We are all sincerely grateful for how much she contributed to making this beautiful celebration even more memorable with all her expert support. Let's also not forget the food! The food was absolutely delicious; I still have guests calling and texting me how wonderful the atmosphere, the food, the service, the entire wedding was. I truly wish I could give 100 stars for this event- it could not have been any better- it was absolutely perfect!! Thank you for everything!
google avatar

Wendy S.

Yelp
We had an amazing dinner - the Lobster Ravioli and Pan Seared Scallops were perfectly cooked and had great flavor! While it was incredibly busy, we opted to grab a high top in the bar and Chris was our server/bartender- funny, attentive, and a great personality! So enjoyed our time and looking forward to coming back!

Aaron D.

Yelp
Horrible service! Worst experience ever. Management is a complete joke. They're a bunch of liars.
google avatar

Angela M.

Yelp
There is not enough good things to say about this place. The view is gorgeous overlooking the water. The menu is delicious. I have had almost everything over the years and you seriously cannot go wrong with anything you choose. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Love love love this place! Always a go to!
google avatar

Megan L.

Yelp
This restaurant gave me titanic vibe. Very elegant and luxurious with lovely sea view near the patio. It's what seem to me located in the middle of nowhere. You know like those industrial plazas with plenty of parking spaces. I have blessed my tastebuds with frequent fine dining experiences, and the foods here are not one of the finer ones, not something that I will be missing. I have nothing to complain about the quality of the foods, but food's presentation could definitely use some work. They looks like foods that could come from a lower rank restaurant (not cheap, just lower rank).
google avatar

Lynda D.

Yelp
Parking is available, nice view, service was good, bread that was served was delish. I came here during dine out Boston during lunch time. Here's what I ordered... Polenta farcita A napoleon of grilled polenta layered with molten gorgonzola, walnuts and baked quince, cream of porcini.....(did not like, it was strange combination) Eggplant Bake A Parmigiana-style eggplant lasagna layered with mozzarella, marinara and fresh basil.... (I really liked this dish and usually I don't eggplant but I think I've converted) ENTREES Capellini ai Scampi Wild harvested black tiger shrimp, garlic, lemon, parsley and evoo, tossed with angel hair pasta...(it was okay, wasn't bad but it just didn't wow me. I think I could've made this just as good) Bourbon Double Glazed Short Rib Slow braised boneless beef ribs with a bourbon glazed barbecue sauce, served with a creamy mushroom and asparagus risotto...(although the short rib was tender, I just couldn't handle how sweet it was. Risotto was eh, I'd rather have it served with mashed potato or rice) DESSERT Pumpkin Layer Cake (not as moist as I like, mom and I thought it was eh) Molten Chocolate Cake...(must get this!!! This was my favorite from all of the dishes, I normally don't like chocolate but this one I can really dig into! It's warm and moist and I would just come here to get this again!)

Yelp
When I come here I instantly remember why I'm not surprised it's only three stars. Every time. Came here with a group of nine people and we did have a good time. The food was good, the view amazing but the waiter was lucky I wasn't responsible for his tip. Rude, short tempered and arrogant for someone who didn't know a lot about the ingredients. I honestly think he didn't care! I'm gluten free and was stuck with either the chicken piccata or the filet mignon. That's it, those were the only two he suggested. All the appetizers were glutenous and I'm not a fish person. That said the chicken piccata was good with roasted potatoes and asparagus. The wine selection is reasonable with good prices. Others loved everything they ordered and aside from the waiter it was a good night. Would I pick this restaurant, no! Would I come again if friends were going yes. It's an out of the way destination but reading above, you'll know what your getting yourself into and then you can just enjoy the good.

Yelp
Would you believe I lived in Boston for 18 years and never knew this diamond was in my backyard? When we pulled up for lunch it looked like a function hall from the outside and I was expecting nothing higher than some day old dry chicken and overly sauced pasta. I am so happy to say I was gratefully proven wrong! You walk into a warm, beautifully decorated, large dining room. Then you are hit with the overwhelmingly gorgeous view of the water and the faint Boston skyline in the background. I would honestly pay to come here for the view alone. Luckily this place isn't Drake and views are not all they have to offer. The staff is wonderful and so accommodating. The food is out of this world. No more fake Italian Olive Garden knock offs for me. This is the place for ridiculously delicious Italian cuisine. I had the chicken piccata and it was perfect. Of course as the Yelper of the family I used that as an excuse to dig my fork into everyone's plate and EVERYTHING I TASTED WAS DELICIOUS! If you're in Boston save your self the trouble of searching for parking in the North End and give this place a try! It's a welcomed surprise.

Yelp
I was given the lovely task to plan our company's holiday party this year in the month of October. Challenge accepted. As a person who loves to event plan, I got right on it. Called and emailed tons of places in the Quincy/South Shore area as time was of the essence so to speak. Venezia came highly recommended by the event coordinator at The Fox and Hound, and I called them immediately. Nina, the Event Sales Coordinator, answered and let me know that the date that I wanted was available and asked if I wanted to book. I said yes and the contract was signed a week later with a deposit. All else was planned accordingly prior to our event, and Nina was amazingly helpful with each and every detail that was needed for our event and assisted us with our requests (menu choices/decorations/AV set-up, e.t.c.). Thank you, Nina!! Fast forward to our event... Everything looked amazing. Linens were green and red in accordance with the holiday season, lighting was perfect, bar set-up was perfect. It was all just perfect. Food was very delicious as well! We had a few passed apps and some food stations. Apps included boneless buffalo chicken, caprese skewers, fried zucchini and one other yummy one. Stations included a Mediterranean display, fruit and cheese, a mashed potato bar with beef short ribs (everyone went crazy for this one) and a stir fry station. Also a special shout out to Jose, our room captain. Jose was awesome!! He was there to make sure that all was well during our entire event! Thanks, Venezia!!!

Yelp
We decided to have our final vacation dinner at Venezia because it was walking distance from our hotel. From the begging to the end of this experience, everything was high end. We were seated by the restaurant manager. Our table was overlooking the port and with a fabolous view to downtown Boston. We had the antipasto chacutarie board and beef bresaola as appetizers. They both tasted so well and both are nice portions. For entrees we had the lobster scampi style and cavatelli brimavera. The lobster was good, Ienjoyed the lemony taste a lot. For wine I had the Riesling and it's another winner in my eyes! For dessert we had cannolis, beautiful presentation and tasted divine! Service was amazing and set to the standards what I would expect from that price point. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are on this side of Boston.

Yelp
Disappointing lunch today. Scallops werevery small & overdone. Actually hard on top. Partner's haddock also small &overcooked. Calamari appetizer rubbery & bland. For a restaurant with great location & service, food should be consistently good.
