Venhue is absolutely the best fine dining experience. Dinner was delicious, staff was excellent, chef is the man, and the owners are the best. Overall experience was unbelievable. Bar up front was great for a few cocktails before and after. Dinner around a single table was very comfortable, with unparalleled and unique entertainment throughout. The multiple food and drink pairings were all 10 out of 10. Perfect for a date night or dinner with a few friends. Highly recommend!!

Delicious, fun and fast experience! 75 minutes goes quickly. We went for a casual Saturday night dinner and it was perfect amount of time. Great concept of the screens, reminded us of the Alchemist in Copenhagen but this version is way more affordable and repeatable.

I’ve been wanting to come check this place out for MONTHS and let me tell you, it was beyond worth it. It was much more than a delicious meal. It’s an entire experience. They thought of everything here, down to the smallest of details. I’ve never been to a restaurant that had so much creativity throughout, even the utensils are memorable. Each dish is presented and explained in the most unique, surprising way. It truly is Michelin Star quality, and they figured out how to add fun on top like a secret ingredient. And I didn’t walk away hungry! But I did crave to go back for seconds today when talking about it with friends. I will definitely be doing that as soon as I can!

I came here not knowing what to expect and it was the coolest experience! It’s a 75 minute, 6 course delicious meal with a twist! Everything they do pokes a bit of fun at Michelin restaurants and experiences. There were so many quirky touches like tiny wine glasses and blindfolds either googly eyes - we even ended the evening with some bingo. With each course you never really know what to expect and it’s a fun surprise. This is definitely a fun and unique experience in NYC. Highly recommend!

If you’re looking for upscale dining that infuses chaos with creativity, look no further than Venhue. They’re more than an upscale dining venue, they’re an EXPERIENCE. The atmosphere is vibrant, inviting, and of course, chaotically fun. From the moment you walk in, you find yourself immersed in culinary and sensory experiences that continuously pull you in for more. From one excellent dish to another, prepare yourself for a multi-course adventure! To the staff: My hat goes out to you guys and your chef! Keep it up. Can’t wait to see what else you guys are cooking up!

I came to Venhue for my 30th birthday and wow did they blow my group and I away. Birthday dinners are usually just your order and drinks but here they make sure to give you a FULL experience of laughter and amazing food. We were a group of 12 and the Venhue staff was attentive to each of us. Won’t give away too many spoilers — but from scenic views on screen, fog machines, sparklers, candles and rose petals? I mean they really thought of every possible way to make sure our group had the best time. Ditch the high end restaurants that only bring you your food for a dining experience that brings you a TIME. The cost is ABSOLUTELY worth it and is so reasonable. 10/10 experience, literally have no complaints.

Google
A Five-Star Roast of Fine Dining – Venhue Delivers Comedy and Cuisine in Style If you’ve ever sat through a meticulously plated, overly serious Michelin-star meal and thought, this could use a little less pretension and a lot more personality, then Venue is your dream come true. This place is a masterclass in culinary satire, delivering high-end flavors with a side of playful irreverence. But beneath the humor, the food is genuinely spectacular. The chefs at Venue clearly have the skills to run a serious fine-dining restaurant, but they choose instead to subvert the experience in the best way possible. Every bite is as thoughtfully crafted as the joke that comes with it. If you love great food but can’t stand the pompousness of traditional haute cuisine, Venue is a must-visit. It’s a place where you can laugh, savor, and leave with both your belly and your sense of humor satisfied. A Michelin star might be too serious for them, but they’ve certainly earned a gold star in my book.

Yelp
Loved the experience. Started in the outside bar and had shots with the other guests then we enter into the dining room and it is absolutely exciting! Enjoyed all of the courses some you can even pick yourself and try different levels of spice if you so please. There's games and fun activities and silly things in between that get everyone chatting and laughing at the table. You make friends along the way and get to meet all the staff and chef and owner! What an incredible group! Job well done to these young entrepreneurs!

Yelp
This place needs more credit & needs to blow up. Fairly new, this setting is basically the opposite of " Do Not Play with Your Food ". Restaurant week allows you to enjoy the fun activities for half the price. The staff were great, from the bar area to the servers to the kitchen staff. Everything was delish, opened up my palette with a few dishes. I would definitely return and enjoy the full price which includes more activities.

Yelp
Grabbed a Friday night reservation for 4 and didn't fully know what we were getting into - which I recommend for anyone thinking about coming here. The surprise and shock factor is all the more fun! Food was interesting and tasty, we were thoroughly entertained, and I would recommend this to my friends looking for a quirky way to spend their night. My only note is that while we aren't big eaters, we went to grab some pizza after dinner. We definitely left a bit more buzzed than full but no complaints here!

Yelp
- overall rating: 3.5 - came for a friend's birthday, opted for the premium pairing with our dinner - the food was honestly better than I was expecting for a meal that is meant to be a bit tongue in cheek about tasting menu pretentiousness, however the ambiance didn't add as much to the meal as we expected, if anything we found it distracting at best and at worst detracting from the food - we both found about half of the dishes a bit heavy handed on the salt - for the fish dish I ordered the 'spicy' and he ordered the 'very spicy' so we could try each other's sauces (tho upon arrival found his wasn't spicy at all, we assumed they must've mixed his up with another diner who ordered 'mild') - left satiated but not necessarily full, ended the evening at a local watering hole with some Buffalo wings afterwards - bill came out to around $300 for the both of us (gratuity included) - personable staff - they offered an interesting/different experience which I felt was worth the cost but we wouldn't necessarily go again

Yelp
My husband wanted to take me somewhere fun and different with great food for my birthday. We arrived at VenHue about 15min early because traffic was surprisingly light! Once we arrived we sat at the bar and had a glass of champagne before the dinner started. It's a timed prefix menu and it's so delicious and fun!! The whole theme of the dinner is a cheeky poke at the Michelin machine. The service was wonderful! Everyone working here is very friendly and thoughtful. I cannot express how refreshing this experience was after the many stuffy and pretentious dinners that we've had over the years. I LOVE good food and the effort that goes into creating an amazing meal. But after sitting through one too many 4hr meals that are so full of themselves and don't even taste that amazing, Venhue really satisfies that rebellious urge and need for great flavors! Also, time is money and a 60 min prefix is just the right amount of time to spend indulging chefs. But these chefs didn't feel like they needed the ego boost. We were given a kitchen tour as one of the courses and it was great! They have a funny little gnome in there that helps satisfy the Michelin ambiance. If you have not yet been to Venhue and you enjoy new experiences and great food, then get your ass there ASAP!

Yelp
Venhue is a FUN experience! Feels more like I'm at someone's house pregaming for a rave at the Mirage rather than a dining experience. I will say the food felt below average for the price. And most of us in the group were hungry afterwards and went to get a second dinner. This may have been part of the satirical statement the chef is trying to make about fine dining. But I will say don't go here expecting to be well fed. However, you can expect leaving quite buzzed/drunk because they are very generous with the alcohol. There are all these subtle jokes and jabs at the pomposity of Michelin stars and fine dining. I think it would be a fun pregame experience for a big group, but maybe not for dinner.

Yelp
I'm so happy we found this gem. While my partner and I love to frequent tasting menus, the Michelin "machine" establishments tend to take themselves very seriously - almost too much so at times. This isn't the case at Venhue. With top-quality dishes, you can expect to experience playful jabs at fine dining, games, shots, colorful lights and a trip to the kitchen to see where the magic happens! I was blown away by the wagyu/foie gras tart as well as the A5 wagyu. The servers were fun and friendly, not taking themselves too seriously and sending us home with a Polaroid at the end of the night. I'll definitely be back to see what other experiential courses they cook up next!

Yelp
Venue is such a fun time! We went for my friend's birthday and also partook in the VIP drink pairing. Every dish was so creative and fun - mix of interesting ingredients and presented beautifully. Creative way to experience fine dining. When we went in the kitchen for the wagyu, we met the chef who was just returning from the DNC! Very cool. Though some of the presentation was a bit kitschy, there is no denying the quality of the food. Fine dining where I don't leave hungry! Thank you! I can't wait to come back!
google avatar

Yelp
Very chaotic but also very fun! A quick 60 minute tasting menu with drinks included. The wagyu bite was our favorite of the night but we also enjoyed the focaccia and the pasta. The staff make it an enjoyable experience as they poke fun at food influencers and traditional expensive tasting menus. We did leave slightly hungry though as the portions run on the smaller side.

Yelp
Chaos was the theme of the night; very fun experience and the food was very delicious! Highly recommend if you're into fine dining but don't take it too seriously since they are most certainly poking fun at how ridiculous fine dining can sometimes be. But the food was flavorful, nice and creative presentations. Highlights include being taken into the kitchen to eat a beautifully seared wagyu bite that just melts in your mouth and also the tiniest tiniest cup of a "fine wine." Yes I felt mildly attacked by the end of the night as a person who is on a life journey of collecting Michelin star and the like dining experiences, but it was all in good fun! If the menu switches up often I would certainly come back. Highly recommend! Tip: do not get there late. A few people came in late and they do not wait for you to sit, they will serve the dishes to your empty seats lol

Yelp
What an incredible way to spend my birthday! Was such a fun experience and so memorable. They accommodated my friend who is non alcoholic and still made a fun experience for her as well to include her. The community table was such a perfect concept and we had such a fun group and very nice people. So very grateful I spent my birthday here... truly such a fun and amazing experience I won't shut up about it to all my friends. The staff was very warm and welcoming and just a chill vibe overall. 15/10 for service, atmosphere, and food.... And OMG the saki. I wouldn't have changed a thing.

Yelp
Came here to celebrate a birthday a few days ago and it was really fun! We arrived right on time and didn't get a glass of champagne like I saw in the reviews which sucked because I was really looking forward to it, but maybe it was because we didn't come early enough T-T. The overall experience was very fun but the food was a bit underwhelming in my opinion. There were a few really good dishes like the wagyu and soup, but everything else was nothing special. We also got the premium alcohol pairing but the alcohol portions were at best average, maybe got a total of 2.5 glasses of wine and 2 shots. I'd recommend it for the experience but you're definitely paying for the vibes and memories than the food or drinks.

Yelp
came here for a private event and it lived to all of my expectations! the place is very intimate so it's great for smaller groups and you really get to know each other. the staff were so funny and amazing and we loved the ambiance and the theatrics and show. the food itself was so delicious and the concepts behind each one of them were just as fun. some of our favorites were the foccaccia, the tart, red snapper, octopus, wagyu and the pasta. it was a fun and interactive night and I highly recommend coming here!

Yelp
Had a fun evening at Venhue, everything was well thought out and intentional. The food was good and the alcohol pairing was excellent

Yelp
10/10 what a fucking place! This is a must try for people coming from out of town and a new necessity for those who live here. Dinner? Check. Drinks? Check! A show?? Check check check!!! For $120 all in per person- this is possibly the best bang for your bucks experience in the city. A top tier first date move if you're really trying to get a bang for your bucks. Let me paint the picture: you start by entering an adorable wine bar with photos of chefs as musical artists decorating the space. You're immediately handed a glass of champagne. My new rule is that if I'm not handed a glass of champ upon entry- why am I even there? They take your coat or any large bags and right on time- make sure you're right on time, or early- the show begins. The food is quality- high quality! It's a camp parody of a Michelin star restaurant but they don't go cheap with the food. I'm personally a vegetarian and I didn't feel like I was handed a plate of raw mushrooms (as I have been in other fine dining establishments- which will remain unnamed). But the meat eater options made my group very happy as well. The screens change the ambiance with each course and there are sake shots, wine and beer throughout the experience. I never had an empty glass in front of me without another being set right down. I won't ruin the experience but trust me- you'll laugh, you'll groan, you'll want to tell your friends about the surprises. And you should. And you should go. And bring people. Now that was fine dining!

Kellen F.

Yelp
I never really wrote a review but I felt the need to for Venhue. The experience was so fun last night! Definitely not a place for people who don't like surprises and want to order from a menu. The service was so smooth, like a coordinated ballroom dance. Couple of delicious courses and a few I didn't like. Overall the space was small and grunge, not a high-end type restaurant but the experience and food were good enough for the price tag. Left feeling satisfied!

Yelp
As I enter we get served champagne by one of the owners Justin ( great sense of humor ), we hang out for a lil and they give the whole group a shot of some... we also get these cool venhue back stage passes. One important thing is I met chef Steven and Sous-chef Alex outside while waiting for friends before the champagne and they were very friendly asking if I am about to eat inside, chef Steven seemed very excited as he was telling me about how he spent weeks creating this new dish. Anyways straight to the point, perfect execution, I've never had wagyu w black truffles on top and it was amazing especially w however they cooked it which they explained before eating the dish, I'm just not a good listener. My top 2 favorites w number 2 being the soup cheesy w a dance of flavors especially when u dip this special pastry they have under it. Number 1 being the last course of which is pasta and I'm not huge fan of pasta, but this dish we all get at the same time and I swear everyone at the table in unity takes a bite and makes that face of wow. As it touches your tongue it melts into this dance of flavors and then I put it on this side of perfectly oiled and toasted bread, thinking it couldn't get better. Holy f*** it was better then perfect as I took a bite. The portions were amazing too. As well as the drinks, I definitely walked out happy and tipsy but remembering the flavors of the flavor of the dishes now two days after. They're known to have a new combination and fusion of different dishes every time u go so id one hundred percent go back for this experience happily knowing my minds gonna blow some other way. Also one thing I forgot to mention the crowd of people that you meet at the table are very cool and social. Great for making friends, and I did collect a couple instagrams talking to the people outs

Yelp
Fantastic experience! Food was delicious, flavorful and high quality - my favorite was the wagyu which was flown in from Japan that same day! The drinks were excellent, and paired well with the food. The activities in between dishes were very creative and entertaining, and provided a nice break in between eating and drinking. Even the music and videos that play in the background throughout the meal were curated to go along with the food. Lastly, the staff was very nice and approachable - felt like they were truly going out of their way to make sure we were having a good time and enjoying our food. Overall, a very fun experience! Would recommend to anyone who is looking for an entertaining, unique, unforgettable, and delicious experience!

Yelp
This place is incredible. I can't recommend them highly enough. The entire experience was so much fun. The food was delicious, the staff was so fun, funny, and kind. The vibes were off the charts. Such a fun night!!!

Yelp
In NYC, it's easy to say you've seen it all but it's also seriously safe to say, that no matter where you're from, you haven't seen anything like Venhue. This restaurant shows how fun fine dining can be when it doesn't take itself too seriously. The 'venhue' is intimate and timed while not feeling rushed. It's a party in a box and the box happens to be a multimedia room that doubles as a sexy dining room. The meal itself is a total treat with lots of surprises along the way and the drinks pairing is a fun-must. This is a place to impress out of town guests, wow a first date or celebrate a milestone in a unique way, which is so rare to find. Highly recommend this!

Yelp
One of the most inventive dining experiences in New York! Amazing menu (I'm still thinking about that waygu bite) and fun atmosphere. Awesome team behind it. Great for a fun date night or with a group of friends.

Yelp
Our group had a fantastic time at Venhue! The food was delicious and of the highest quality. It was the opposite of a stuffy dining experience and the rapid evening was packed with non-stop entertainment and laughs. We got some hilarious photos and memories from our evening

Yelp
Unique experience and amazing food, highly recommend you check this out if you want to have a unique and tasty meal that deviates from the ordinary
