Venice Bakery Review - Culver City - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Similar to the "Creative Director" you matched with last week, Venice Bakery is also a multi-hyphenate. This bakery-restaurant-café hits the mark on everything from its hearty huevos rancheros to the large pan dulce selection that includes an exceptionally moist Salvadoran quesadilla. But the real reason we wander into this Culver City spot on Sunday mornings is for the Super Chilaquiles Divorciados (the emphasis on super feels appropriate.) If you dread deciding between red or green chilaquiles, relax. Here, you get a 50/50 split of the two. The salsa verde packs a tart tomatillo bite, and the salsa roja comes with plenty tomato-y sweetness. These chilaquiles also come with modification options, like spice level, protein add-ons, and eggs in the style of your choosing. Yes, 9 a.m. is a perfectly acceptable time to scarf down a breaded chicken cutlet. photo credit: Jakob Layman" - Sylvio Martins

Really good food! Seems like a super good authentic Mexican place. Would definitely go here again. I had the burrito with chorizo meat and it was amazing. Didn’t get any of the baked goods, but they looked super yummy

Had some tacos here. The presentation was nice and service was perfect despite my inability to read, speak, or understand Spanish

Pleasant little bakery & restaurant. Went for pan dulce, went there for other things in the past. Never disappoints. Busy, but attentive staff.

Best bread I have ever had! I came to this bakery 3 days straight while I was in California. My only regret is, not bringing some back here to New Jersey for myself. There’s truly no better bakery than Venice Bakery!
