Venice Kitchen

I love love love Venice Kitchen. It’s one of my favorite spots to get dinner in Memphis. We got the S5, crawfish egg rolls, and chicken tacos this time. The S5 is a unique and delicious pizza creation. The crawfish egg rolls are creamy, perfectly seasoned, and stuffed with just the right amount of crawfish. I like to get the house salad with lemon vinaigrette to feel healthy lol. Other things I’d recommend: the lemon drop, southern Cobb salad, creole delight pasta, and fried chicken chipotle tacos. You really can’t go wrong with much here.

It's my first time going. It's a nice small place. I had the Rasta Pasta. It was good and very filling. I look forward to trying different dishes. It's an echo warehouse type of atmosphere, so don't expect a quiet meal. It wasn't bad. The service was also great.

I celebrated my husbands surprise 40th birthday party and the staff was amazing!! The food was amazing! Our waiter was extremely friendly and attentive and we even stayed a little over time and they allowed us to continue enjoying our evening! We even had family in town from Chicago and they raved about the service and food!! I will recommend Venice Kitchen and their private room to everyone! Thank you so much for such a beautiful experience and a beautiful time!

The food was great! Server was on point. The restaurant was so very loud. Open ceiling restaurants often are, maybe some noise dampening would be helpful. Noticed a lot of dust on the walls and fixtures near A/C vents. Only allow parties up to 8.

I loved the foos here. Tried different pasta items. Creole delight is the best, with the smell and taste of seafoods. Rasta pasta for the spices, was just yum. I am definitely going there to taste other foods. I hear pizza is one of the best here.

I went here for a quick meal and it was better than I expected for a last minute dinner. I sat at the bar and order the Rasta pasta and a lemon drop. The lemon drop was strong and the pasta was delicious. The peppers were cooked just to my liking crunchy and not soggy. I been here before but this time was so good I hade to leave a review.

This place is 2nd to none when it comes to Italian dishes. I had the Rasta Pasta and the Ultimate Cheese fries and those were the best darn Cheese fries ever. I was totally full and the service was great as this was my 2nd visit. Great job! See ya Venice Kitchen on my 3rd visit!!!!

This place was delightful! I had lunch on the patio and was thoroughly impressed. My server was attentive and friendly. The only thing I particularly didn’t enjoyed was the lemon drop—it was refreshing and didn’t contain any alcohol on it.

I have been here about three times now and each time I have enjoyed my overall experience. Parking is in the back and a bit tight but manageable. You walk in and the restaurant gives off a nice vibe. It's mellow. So far with each visit the staff has been great and the management walking around fun and engaging. Drinks are on point and the food has been exceptional. The lasagna wasn't my favorite BUT it wasn't bad. I will forever order the spinach dip and mozzarella sticks. And my husband clearly loves the pizza cause that's all he ever orders. I will return again and again. So why only 4 stars?? It's great but not perfect. But definitely worth a visit. I've had better Italian in the city. But still a favorite casual fun spot I will continue to frequent.

Food was fantastic Service was on top of everything and they were very busy The ambiance was truly lovely just like the company I had.

Dined on a Saturday at 3. The parking lot was picked but we were seated immediately. The food was great, the drinks were great, our waiter DJ was great! Will continue to support

I went to dine in last week and had a delightful time. Food was delicious and fresh and the ambiance was pleasant - not too loud. One odd things was a female server who kept yelling and dancing/twerking in the back area - she was so loud that I wondered if she was drunk lol. Our server was also amazing. I felt inspired to get this beautiful salad again so I ordered it yesterday and it was my first and only meal of the day. I immediately knew something was off, the cucumbers tasted like soap and it looked nothing like what's pictured - it was just thrown together. I took all The cucumbers out and tried eating a few bites and got violently sick and am still sick now. My guess - someone didn't wash their hands or something was wrong with the prep- no gloves or something. I know these are the risks with eating out but this really sucks. It was a waste of money but now I also have food poisoning from a salad in my attempt to try to eat healthier. I hope management sees this and really makes sure the staff is practicing safe prep for delivery orders, especially during lunch rush.

This place is very overhyped. This was my first time hear and I was excited to try it. I wanted to start with something you shouldn't mess up which was the mozzarella sticks and even tho they look good. The breaded was either seasoned weird or the oil was really old. Not sure which. I got a mocktail mojito which was really tasty 10/10. For my entree I got the chicken parm with a side ceaser salad. But the parm was more like flakes instead of melted cheese. Wasn't a fan. But wasn't nasty. While sitting at the bar I witnessed this encounter between a customer and manager. And the manger was not friendly or helpful at all. She was kinda rude in the tone she was talking in and wasn't giving great solutions on helping the customer. Would I be back probably not.

Unfortunately, the deliciousness of the food is not the same since they removed the words "Old" and "Pizza" from their name. The prices increased, but the food got worse. When I took that Salmon Caesar photo, I still loved it here. The salmon now has a burnt flavor and drab taste. The deviled eggs are watery, but taste good. I'm not sure if watery is the word, because I believe it's just that there is too much olive oil drizzled on top. I think I will just have to pass from now on.

We were seated upon arrival. The server was on point recommending the refreshing beverage. The cauliflower made me think I was eating Buffalo chicken. It was so good! The egg rolls were savory. We had the spinach stuffed pasta noodles but hey no pic! The person got to it first . Great ambiance and excellent service.

Ok first off not sure how the driveway parking thing works, but paintings and signs would be a good investment .. Overall love the interior, seats are a little close but that just means you get to meet you neighbor... and try their food!! Service was great and not over bearing and well that's what you need! I nabbed the salmon Caeser and it didn't hit the bucket for me but when you get down to it, the salmon was a bit over done but the seasoning on it was actually pretty good. Ok off night but if your are gonna make fresh salad make sure the dressing is their to give it a kick. My friend nabbed the lasagna and said it was a hit so I didn't kill the stars. It looked legit and I probably should have started there. Looking forward to coming back to see if they can get that last star!

The food as always was great. It just happened to be my birthday lunch with my daughter. Hostess super sweet. Sat down waited over 10 min to even see our server (we went at 11:30am it wasn't busy). She walked up, no hello, just a "what do you want to drink?" Took our order the same way. We never got a chance to even speak with her let alone say hey it's my birthday. She did refill our sodas but honestly it was shocking to receive such bad service there. It has never happened before just really bad timing as we were there to celebrate. It was the first time my adult daughter was taking me out for my birthday. Have to admit it did bring down the mood. But, to the server we got, I am sorry your day wasn't going well. Mine was. I hope your days get better and you learn to be friendly. Cuz all of your fellow employees are. I hate that your day wasn't good. I really do. Just wish I had a different server for my special day.

Terrific food, great service, and a clean restaurant. We had the Creole Delight and Shell Spinach Pasta. Yummy! This restaurant had a great fully staffed team. Our server Jean was on point. Don was a fantastic glue. Thanks for the welcoming atmosphere Manager Ben. We will definitely be back soon.

This is such a cute spot with a modern/contemporary vibe. I am bummed that I did not take more photos and I forgot to take a photo of my food too. I was surprised by how cute it was and I would definitely come here more often too. Our waitress was great and so was the food and beverages. I ordered a Sauvignon Blanc along with the spicy chicken sandwich meal, and the meatball appetizer. It was pretty tasty. This would be a great date spot, Highly recommend!

dinner wit my sister and best friend.. we like food, so we ordered a few things n shared. I'm the salad lover. It didn't disappoint either, those candied pecans are so tasty. My sister had the taco trio n bestie ordered the pizza. It was mouthwatering delicious. Let's get into these drinks tho, definitely adulting.. wasn't made for the weak n I have no complaints.

I could literally eat an Individual Crabby Crawdaddy Pizza on cauliflower crust, everyday of my life, and never complain about it! That's it! That's the post! I have nothing more to add! AWESOME! AWESOME! AWESOME!

Dinner on a Friday night with friends. Our wait time for seating was acceptable. All enjoyed the ambience, our waiter Travis was pleasant & courteous and above all we enjoyed the food and alcohol service. Plan to visit in the future

Sat down with my coworkers for lunch. I got the crabby crawdads pizza on cauliflower dough. It was delicious and the cauliflower dough was crispy like a regular dough not soggy like most. We shared some spinach dip with chips and bread both of which were warm and fresh. I'd definitely come again. My coworkers enjoyed their salmon salad and lasagna. They weren't the biggest fans of the fried chicken chipotle tacos mainly because it wasn't what they expected rather than the quality of the food

We got there right at 11am when they opened and there was a line to get in the door. We were immediately seated. We ordered cocktails and placed an order for the crawfish rolls. They are always good. We ordered breakfast tacos (yummy), enchiladas (delicious) and French toast (amazing). I love French toast and order it just about everywhere. This ranks up there with the top 2!!! It was thick brioche bread served with powered sugar and crème brûlée sauce and berries. It was soooo good. The toast was cooked to perfection. The sauce was delicious. I give this French a 12 out of 10!!! It was that good!!! The restaurant filled up very quickly on Sunday morning. I suspect there was a lot of brunching going on but you can also order from their regular menu.

They have wonderful salads. The wait wasn't too long. I really enjoyed my meal. Our group ordered Thai Chicken salad. I like the lemon herb dressing.

Last night we had the please if occupying the private room for a belated Galentine's meet up. Spacious enough that we didn't feel cramped while also keeping intimate vibe. As we played games and socialized, we placed orders for cocktail and entrees. French 75 had just the right effect I was looking for. The Rasta Pasta was flavorful. Parking: Super busy during happy hour so it took a while to secure a spot.

I love ordering the mozzarella sticks here! They're always so cheesy and they are a big order so several people can easily share this appetizer. We sat on the patio which had some rotating fans and that was really nice so we did not get too hot! The service was perfect. Our waitress was "B" and she had our food and drinks out quickly, she was attentive, and made sure to keep asking us if we needed anything. We told her we had a book club meeting across the street and she kept us fed and taken care of until it was time to go.

The service at Venice Kitchen is always top tier. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and isn't scared to give their open on a food item in question. My new obsession is the Creole Delight Pasta. That consisted of fettuccine, shrimp, blue crab, andouille, red onions, bell peppers, Cajun cream sauce. It's like gumbo but with pasta. It was seasoned well and each bite was delicious. I tried my best to save some for later but it wasn't happening.

Everything was amazing!! Highly recommend the chicken parmesan and the meatballs as an appetizer. It was extremely busy when we arrived, but only a 10-15 minute wait for two people. Very calming environment with the dim lighting and music isn't too loud.

We stopped in on a Saturday night and had about a 25 minute wait. The place was busy and pretty loud, but you can tell that the place is well liked. Our server was very attendant helpful. The crawfish egg rolls were AMAZING!!! We tried three different pizzas and all were good, but nothing spectacular. I was super excited about the crabby crawled pizza because they said that it is similar to the crawfish egg rolls, but I was disappointed when my pizza came with ice cold crab chunks thrown on the top. Probably would not order that again. If we go back, we will give the pasta a try as it looked really good at the tables around us.

the veggie wings here are always top tier! i believe they recently changed the breading recipe but the crunch still lasts and the cauliflower is tender and seasoned under it. the daily lunch deals and brunch on sundays sets this restaurant apart! the service here is always great just be sure to know their busy times because there can be a wait sometimes. there's enough space in the restaurant to feel like you're just alone with your party or a part of the energy in the bar area!

This is for my server Sarah H I informed her that my chicken was too salty. She didn't even respond however she just walked off. She came back and waited on my guess that was at the table. She asked did we want a refill on our drinks I asked how much she never answered but my guess did. I told Sarah yes I would like a refill however she only brought my guess a refill. Sarah never asked would I like anything else concerning my food. When it was time to pay she stated I took the chicken off. She took my plate and that was it. It was the attitude and the horrible customer service for me My guess was wondering why the lack of customer service. We all politely paid for our food and thank her and left. I wasn't going to leave a review but since I was left on hold then why not.

We had brunch with Travis as our server! He was on point! Our food came out in a timely matter. Took into consideration the order the food came out keeping in mind my cranky two year old! The food was good as always! The waffles were melt in your mouth perfect! French toast looked great! We had plenty of left overs and we were so full! My espresso martini was just the kicker I needed our plates were bussed at the perfect time and our check and to go boxes came out right on time! This is our fourth Mother's Day at Venice kitchen and we will def be back next year 10/10 recommend and ask for Travis he's the best!

Food was good. No, better than good. Food was stupendous. Had a sam which and the wife had some pasta something or other. Spinach and artichoke dip for appetizer. All were crowd favorites (except the crowd was just us! ) Would highly recommend coming here on a sunny afternoon in March with the wife.

Not my first time eating at Venice Kitchen, but my first time dining in. The service was great and my food was delicious!

The name of this restaurant is slightly deceiving. While they do have some Venetian dishes, the menu sways from Creole to Italian to American fare. We started with the crab gumbo and crawfish rolls. Dinner varied from make-your-own pastas with Rosa sauce, burrata and fettuccini to Creole delight (but we subbed the pasta out for mashed potatoes instead). The chef said he had never done it before but it came out so well, they might add it to the menu. The manager and the server were good and this place is always busy. Parking is tight and the atmosphere is lively, but the friendliness pays off.

I've only dined in person a few times but mainly get my orders Togo. This time a fried suggested to meet for lunch and we sat in the bar area (1st for me). She was encountered by a rude hosted (Caucasian guy with glasses), needless to say she sat herself. Our waitress Sarah was either overwhelmed or new, I can't say. She was not very attentive and for the amount items we ordered (a waitress dream as we're not needed) she was lackthereof. My friend ordered a martini and I ordered a salad, easy pesy. She never checked on us, asked if we needed anything else, she walked past us more than several times. We had to ask her for the check. I can't say it was strange perhaps her normal behavior or perhaps she thought we wouldn't tip due to our order. I don't want to speculate; however, is she's the waitress in the future, I'd sit elsewhere or ask for a different server. Let's just say, I'll stick to my online orders.

Little hidden gem! I drive by this place every day and never noticed it until I was looking for it specifically. We've eaten here twice now and I will definitely be back. Solid Italian food with fantastic service and great ambiance. Perfect for a date night or just a casual lunch. Chicken parm was delicious!!!!

Venice Kitchen offers a great culinary experience in the Memphis, Tennessee area. The service was friendly and professional and the place has a great overall ambiance. As I said, Venice Kitchen has a great ambiance. It is bright and offers a very comfortable and appealing setting for a meal. Our server shown us personable and friendly service and the food was enjoyable. Venice Kitchen has a good menu. I went with one of their pizzas and enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend Venice Kitchen and if you find yourself in the Memphis, Tennessee, go check it out. Overall, I will give Venice Kitchen five stars. Memphis, Tennessee has a good food scene and this particular restaurant is a good part of the Memphis, Tennessee food scene. Again, I would definitely recommend Venice Kitchen.

Okay now, Venice Kitchen I love yall. BUT charging $1.25 to add red onion to a salad and $0.50 for an extra dressing was not on my bingo card. I've ordered this salad multiple times this same way and never got charged until I got it to go. Maybe I've been lucky BUT for $1.25 I should've gotten the entire red onion.

My hubby and dined there to celebrate our 47th anniversary on a gift card from our son......from the time we walked in until the time we left, it was one of the most memorable experiences we've had in a long time. The cocktails, the waitress and OMG, their GM were awesome. Kudos and more to the GM, the chef AND the staff!! Yall gotta go.....

Excellent pizza to go. Both were well prepared and loaded with ingredients. Properly cooked. Overall delicious. Ready at appointed time.

Service was fast and friendly. Food was delicious! The only thing I would prob do differently next time is to just get regular pasta instead of the chicken Alfredo that comes with the chicken Parmesan. I felt like it had too much flavor. The mozzarella sticks were so so good! And the spinach artichoke dip was also nicely cooked. I do really like this place. And would recommend.

5-25-25 we were there for lunch. I was not very impressed with the food being lukewarm. My other half said her recipe was better than theirs. The only thing that was good was the customer services.

I went to Venice Kitchen in between lunch time and happy hour. I sat at the bar. I ordered the creole pasta which was amazing. I'm a picky pasta eater, and they did not disappoint. It wasn't too busy. The atmosphere was nice. I sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive.

Met up with the gals for lunch/brunch. I started off with a cup of java since I needed a shot of energy. Good cup of coffee. It was hot and strong but quite flavorful. I arrived early and enjoyed my cup of joe. I was looking over the menu while awaiting my friends to arrive. I did take note that the parking lot can be hard to maneuver. The majority of the parking is in the rear of the restaurant and it is definitely a potential traffic jam waiting to happen. Made a note to perhaps arrive earlier for lunch next time. I ordered the Thai chicken salad. The salad itself was made up of a variety of salad greens, carrots, chow mein noodles and a dressing that had a nice spicy bite to it. My chicken was the highlight. It was seasoned well and had a wonderful flavor. My friends ordered pizza and pasta dishes. A couple of the ladies had adult beverages that were a little on the pricey side but had a good taste. Each of them enjoyed their entrees. Our experience would have been a five star rating but our server was having a bad day or something. I asked for my salad dressing to be placed on the side but it was placed all over my salad. That could have been a kitchen mistake but not if the server wrote it down incorrectly. I am not sure. He was forgetful and did not bring much needed items when we asked for a straw, water, cokes, etc. He was on his way to bring us an item we had waited for and then he stopped at the table next to us knowing we were waiting. My friend had to go get her own straw. He was cordial but not as attentive as we would have liked. We did not call for the manager but maybe we should have. All in all we had a good time and the food was pretty good. I may return but will ask for another server. The prices were affordable.

What's good- crab rolls , supreme pizza World famous lasagna, service was mediocre But our orders came out fairly quick .open air somewhat cozy.

We ate here end of October (I'm late getting my review in). Second time eating here. Delicious! It was a nice night so we ate outside. We got the veggie wings (fried cauliflower in buffalo sauce). Huge order! Super yum. We all got individual pizzas big enough for 2-3 servings. Good service and great Italian.

Sunday brunch here is a MUST. The service is fast and friendly and the food is delicious! I had the breakfast tacos and breakfast potatoes which were delicious and the crawfish rolls for an appetizer. The crawfish rolls were amazing! The prices are very reasonable as well . The only downside is parking .,there is only back lot parking which doesn't feel like the best for safety purposes.

Beautiful restaurant, the look and vibe of the place is good. Parking is located in the back of the building btw. The service was good, very attentive and the servers knew the menu well. Now on to the food.... It's soooo good. Get the crawfish appetizer if you enjoy variations on egg rolls. I got the S5 pizza and my cousin got the creole pasta excellent! And so was the Italian lemon cake! I docked a star because the drinks were not good, my NY had too much red wine. And my cousin had a curated cocktail and it wasn't good either. But other than that a solid showing, I would go again.

Food was great. Server was attentive but not very personable - I personally didn't mind, he did his job well. The environment was cute as always.

The service was fine and the waitress was nice. The waitress suggested the Wild Hog pizza that had pork tenderloin on it. My husband said the meat was tough and he didn't like the barbecue sauce on it. He asked to exchange it for something different on the menu but was told by the manager that unfortunately they don't exchange menu items and aren't allowed to take it off the ticket which is absurd. Really bad for business!! Also it's not posted on the menu that you're not allowed to exchange food that is not to your liking. Ended up paying $14 for a pizza that was thrown away. Once again very bad for a business to be like that!!!! Improvement: either allow the customer to send back food and exchange for something different or take it off the ticket!! I should not have to pay for something that we didn't eat.

Thought we would have been there by night now..menu -had my mouth watering . it is online even. Will update can't wait good reviews

Consistently great food! Love the food selection and the prices are fair. Service is exceptional and the atmosphere is comforting.
