"First up is the Venice Way Pizza, a newcomer that lands at the ground floor of the longstanding Hotel Erwin early next month. Ownership there partnered up with none other than Noel Brohner, who has spent years working around LA and beyond as a pizza consultant for some of the biggest restaurant names including Bestia. Brohner specializes in high-hydration doughs, and for Venice Way Pizza he’s turning those into five-inch square “slabs” of pan pizza, similar in crispy exterior to a Detroit style, but with even more air and lift inside." - Farley Elliott

soo over priced for what? Its not good at all the pizza was burnt and hard. The cheese fully slid off with the vegetables.

Probably the best pizza I have ever had! The salad was perfect too. I ordered the Venice way special supreme pizza and the chicken Caesar salad. Keith did his thing and it was delicious. Amazing job! Keith is the man!

While waiting for our Eggslut sandwiches we happened to spy this unassuming pizza place with just the order window visible. We decided to get one slice/slab each and did not regret it. Delicious! Will definitely be going back. Very affordable as well!

Just wanted to try it out. Really disappointed though; it seems that this kind of place likes to target tourists by charging prices that people would pay for actual 5-star pizza. Slices come in squares and they use pepperoni that you buy from the market and randomly sprinkle it around the pie. Payed $40 total for one pie. They are $6 a slice.

For the price ($32 for a whole pie) this is pretty mediocre pizza. Decent texture but the flavor is lacking, could use way more cheese. Bottom line: avoid unless you really want it.

I drove from Orange County to Venice to see one of my friends at Hotel Erwin. I was hungry and went and sat at Venice Way Pizza lounge. Suddenly the hotel door man knocked on the Venice Way Pizza hardly and said you should leave this place soon because the owner doesn’t want a free loader ! Well I didn’t know that I should first and sit at the lounge but I was really surprised by the Pizza lace management very rude behavior. So although I was hungry I didn’t order anything but a can of hard liquor. I understand we’re living in a capitalist society and nothing is free in this world but the owner’s behavior without even knowing intentions is very poor and disappointing and this deeply matters to me. I know this establishment is enjoying the huge crowds who are visiting the hotel and Venice and probably they even care. But I had share this with the readers who manners and good customer service are important for them.

So good! I had the special with cauliflower yummy! Perfect for a quick to go pizza by the slice option as well as hanging and eating at the hotel. Beer and wine available there as well. Great addition!
