Where to Find the Best Locally Made THC Drinks in the Twin Cities | Eater Twin Cities

"Venn Brewing Company reliably has a range of “THC tonics” available, in both five-milligram and 10-milligram concentrations — the list changes frequently, but one classic is the Zenn paloma, with fruity infusions of grapefruit and lime and a touch of sea salt. It’s available for both onsite consumption and to-go, though note that customers can consume THC or beer but not both." - Ryan Meaney

Google
Really enjoyed this brewery. Great atmosphere, great beer, friendly staff. The building looks new and was very pleasant to sit inside. Ask for their most popular beer!!!

Google
Why are you reading this? Just go get a pint already…. Awesome brewery. We had the helles and cosmosis pacific punch. Both were solid! Welcoming environment, pet friendly - I wanted to pet all the doggos but resisted. Can’t wait to try the Zenn!!

Google
We are in town for the weekend at mall of America and wanted to try some local crafts. The beer did not disappoint. We tried the pickle beer, hazy ipa and double hazy. Patio looks amazing for summertime. Love that it’s dog and kid friendly. Only downside is it was a hassle to find parking!

Thomas Roderick

Google
First brewery we stopped at in Minneapolis. The environment is fantastic, ample indoor and outdoor seating. Ordered up a flight of beers, which were all good quality. Metro train stop right outside, which makes it easy to get where you are going. One of the best breweries in Minneapolis.

Google
Ezra was awesome! Visiting the area from Colorado and was looking for some good THC infused drinks and he recommended some THC drinks that hit the spot! Delicious drinks, great atmosphere and very down to earth staff. Be sure to check this place out if looking for a good brewery in the area!

Venn Brewing Company is a fantastic spot for craft beer enthusiasts and casual drinkers alike. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a welcoming atmosphere that perfectly blends a modern brewery vibe with a cozy, community feel. The spacious layout is ideal for both small gatherings and larger groups, making it a great place to relax with friends. The beer selection is impressive, with a variety of styles that cater to all tastes. Whether you prefer hoppy IPAs, rich stouts, or refreshing sours, Venn has something for everyone. Each brew is crafted with care, and you can really taste the quality in every sip. The rotating seasonal offerings keep things exciting, allowing regulars to discover new favorites. What truly sets Venn Brewing apart is its commitment to community. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always eager to share recommendations or chat about the brewing process. They often host events, including food trucks and live music, creating a vibrant atmosphere that encourages socializing and connection. Additionally, the outdoor patio is a lovely spot to enjoy a drink during warmer months, providing a great view and a relaxed ambiance. Overall, Venn Brewing Company is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to enjoy exceptional craft beer in a friendly and inviting environment. Highly recommended!

Google
Because of a gluten allergy this is the first brewery I have been to in over 3 years where I could order beer, and it was delicious! Their beers are all "gluten reduced" which meant I could order almost anything, with the exception of any wheat beers. You can see the explanation on their website. Staff was awesome, very fast and friendly. Beers were even better. Prices were great, with the make your own flight option being easy and affordable. Even have some canned for purchase. There was a food truck outside which we didn't try but it smelled great. Parking was a challenge but all in all a great experience.

Yelp
Bartender was so nice! I came in at 11:15 am to celebrate a fantastic interview! A lot of breweries aren't open this early on a Tuesday. Not that it's often I will go out to a brewery this early but it was nice to find a place that was open and a place that was on my list to try as well!! It was fairly quiet this morning but as I sat here more people began to come in. They have coffee available as well. Good seating availability at the bar or seating throughout the place. I saw people working on their computers and it was nice and calm if you wanted to work on your computer while hanging out here. I had the Cosmosis Pacific Punch. It is a fruit punch sour. It was really good. Not too sour. And not overwhelmingly fruity. Good price point as well. If you're on the light rail on the way to a Twins game or downtown or maybe to the mall take a stop off at 46th and try this place out! I know I will in the future!

Yelp
Really cute spot with great beer and great service! My husband and I stopped in for a beer on a hot day and loved the atmosphere, seems like they throw a lot of events! I expressed interest in a few of the beers and they provided lots of samples so I could decide what I wanted. I landed on a tropical sour (and I'm not a sour person normally) that was super delicious and refreshing. The bartender actually sought me out later to recommend another one to try, and brought along another taster! It was so sweet. We want to come back for record night!

Yelp
Great variety of beer, cute spot, super friendly staff. Location is a bit sketchy, it's a really nice spot, but it's literally at a train station, and there's definitely some people wandering around the parking lot area that I would not want to hang out near, especially at night (honestly only reason for my 4 star review). I'm from the burbs, don't come at me too hard - I'm just not used to that. If you're into THC seltzers, they have a few different ones and they're pretty tasty as well.

Yelp
HEAVEN. This is my favorite brewery. Not just in the Twin Cities, but in the world. I consistently buy their beverages at my favorite liquor store, but going to the taproom is special. Nothing tastes as great from a can as it does from the tap, so carbonated and fresh. They're very warm and welcoming here. You can sample brews before you commit to buying a glass. You can take home 4 packs of Venn beer and Zenn THC drinks. They all taste amazing. I've literally never had a beverage from them that I didn't like! And they have seasonal drinks and collaborations with other brands. They make me proud to be a drinker. Go now.

Yelp
Venn is one of my top breweries in MPLS and one of the few in south Minneapolis worth your time. They have a great variety of beers for everyone and they rotate frequently. The space is great. Even better in the summer when you can enjoy the awesome patio. Well with a visit!
google avatar

Yelp
This brewery is in a very attractive space. The whole bar area has plenty of tables and is very comfortable. There is an extra long bar which we thought was neat. Outside they have seating and the day we visited they had a food truck. My husband tried fruited plains: grapefruit wheat and Tropicopia enjoyed both. I had the dark beer which was very good. We did have to park a couple blocks away but it was worth the walk.

Yelp
Met up with an old coworker at Venn Brewing the other day to catch up. Luckily for us, it was brew day for the Community Hop Farms fresh hop IPA so the brewery smelled great and they offered up some patches & fresh hops to admire. Excited to try the outcome of the hops, as they looked to have some great lupulin and smelled fantastic. Not to mention I tried it in a can a couple weeks later and they did a great job! Vennfest: A Traditional Marzen-Style Oktoberfest that I couldn't resist partaking in. When its Oktoberfest season you have to take advantage of it. A beautiful dark gold color with toasted bread notes and a tasty malt body that just makes you sing Zicke Zacke Zicke Zacke. Belgian Dreamboat: A Belgian White IPA with Orange & Vanilla. I almost didn't order this, but was extremely intrigued. The beer had some black pepper spicy notes that I assume is from the Belgian yeast and sweet notes from the vanilla. The orange interplays with the hops to give a citrus character to the beer. Interesting flavors pop on the palate and interplay in just the right way.

Yelp
Had a morning coffee stop at this brewery. We came here before we did our bike outing. Order Miel (latte with honey and cinnamon) and Americano. Above avg coffee. This will be our regular stop when biking around Minnehaha falls area.

Yelp
I don't get here often but when I do it's consistently good beer and friendly staff. I was last in a few weeks ago when they released their collab beer w Community Hops, a Longfellow IPA. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful when I've tried to pick a few beers to have 5 oz pours of. Parking can be a little tricky on a Friday at 5:00 as I found out in June, they have a limited number of parking spaces so....may the odds be in your favor. Cheers!

Yelp
Stopped in for the La Tortilla Catering food truck and was happily surprised by the beer. I tried the Opulessence Orange Smash (Imperial Stout with Chocolate & Orange Zest, 12.0% ABV). It tasted like an explosion of chocolate and orange. Excellent and the service was fantastic. Very fun night. Parking is very difficult here, you may have to walk a few blocks.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, great selection of beer AND coffee, and great patio. Count me in! We love Venn! We've gotten their beer and tonics to-go several times, but this was our first time enjoying beverages in-house. We came in on a Sunday to meet some friends midday. Parking is kinda tricky as there is only one row dedicated to Venn and the rest is apartment building parking. Luckily, there are neighborhoods nearby to park in, if needed. The space is much bigger than expected and dog-friendly. There is a large indoor seating area as well as a patio that extends on the side and back of the building. When we were there, Venn had a brunch food truck. The staff were kind and helpful as we placed our orders. I treated myself to a latte while my husband tried some beer. We both enjoyed our drinks. We can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Was visiting from out of town, the owners our Airbnb recommended this spot. Cute neighborhood bad, was nice inside, and the beer and edibles were delicious. Would recommend!

Yelp
Arrived at the brewery and went to the bar. The bartender acknowledged us right away and provided us with our beers. Once finished, we placed our empty glasses on the end of the bar. 20 minutes later we were still being ignored. I understand if the place was busy but the line at at the other end of the bar was marginal at best. As a previous bartender this is unacceptable. 1 star as this app won't let me give zero. Don't waste your time, go to a different brewery

Yelp
Had the puppy along for an early afternoon brewery adventure and our paths crossed with Venn! Had driven by multiple times, enjoyed the branding from afar, but never had stopped in. The parking is a bit of a sticky point, as there is only really one row of parking, since it shares a parking lot with a bus stop and an apartment building. We did eventually find a spot and headed inside. The space was open, clean, and had plenty of seating! I'm a huge fan of the logo and branding. Service was quick and friendly! The beer here was top notch! Plenty of diversity, unique flavors, and a willingness to push the boundaries. I'd recommend the Choconut, a play on a peanut butter dark beer, and the Winter Warmer, just enough juniper to warm the soul. We will absolutely be back!

Yelp
Jumped off Light Rail when I saw the brewery from window. Very inviting from the outside. Walked in to weekly Sunday trivia. Had the light Mexican beer which had a wonderful flavor. Fun crowd and atmosphere. Too bad I'm heading out. Would have liked to come back for more.

Yelp
I went to Venn with a few friends Friday night. The parking is very limited in a lot next to Venn and there's parking in the neighborhood otherwise. Unfortunately, my car got broken in to while parked in the neighborhood. The brewery itself has gluten reduced beers that they have tested a few and they were under 20 ppm. I am celiac and not as sensitive as some are and didn't get sick from the beer! I tried the blueberry lemon sour and strawberry hibiscus sour and they were great! The brewery is dog friendly and we got to see lots of cute dogs. In the summer they have a nice patio as well. I will definitely return.

Yelp
The Mexican dark lager, Luna Obsecura, is the nectar of the gods. Amazing. Their venue is very well laid out and everyone seems pretty friendly. I've not tried the food there

Yelp
While we were waiting to pick up family from the MSP airport nearby, we decided to check out Venmo Brewing for the first time, and we loved it! There was a deep list of beers to select from, and we really enjoyed the two we tried. The atmosphere and vibe of this place is really great too, but what made it five stars for us was the staff. The two bartenders were super friendly even with us showing up 30 minutes before closing on a Monday. When the awkward moment came for the staff to ask us remaining beer drinkers to leave so they could close up, the bartender did it with jokes and a smile. Overall, a great spot we'll come back to soon! I'm excited to check out their coffee too!

Mark V.

Yelp
The beer is very good. I really enjoyed the Oktoberfest. The fact the beers are gluten-reduced is nice. The service was good. I'm not sure what some of the other reviewers were complaining about. There was no food truck during our visit, so that is my only knock. Atmosphere is good. Close to LRT. Dog-friendly.
google avatar

Linda F.

Yelp
Great selection of beers, flights and outdoor space right off the light rail. Great service!
google avatar

Chris P.

Yelp
Back again! Short light rail ride from the airport. Place was bumping some reggaeton music when I got there. Felt like i was in South Padre Island, TX (IYKYK). Lol. Service was great. Place was busy. Food truck was available but I didn't get anything. Beers I had were solid. The Fest, El Diablo, and their stout too. When flying in to MSP, I will be back to try more. Cheers.

Yelp
Super cool laid back vibe. Staff are over the top friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is great for chilling with some friends and a have a libation or two. There is also a food truck that serves southern food and the dudes know what that are doing. Don't tell to many people about this local.

Yelp
Stopped here with friends after a round of skyline golf at the Walker Art Center. We enjoyed the patio on a beautiful fall afternoon. It was rather busy but we scored an outside table as a family was just leaving. I had the Sweet Stout and it was smooth and tasty. We ate here as well, ordering from the Sizzlin' Wagon food truck. If you want healthy, veggie, low cal meals, this is not a good option but, hey, everyone needs to treat themselves to burgers, fries and cheese curds once in awhile. I chose the pulled pork and cheese curds. Husband had the crispy chicken sandwich and fries. We split the meals and ate everything up. I will definitely have to run a lot more miles to wear that meal off. Nice afternoon with friends. We enjoyed our first ever visit to Venn.

Yelp
Waited 30+ minutes for a TERRIBLE coffee. Burned, highly acidic and under flavored. Threw it out. Tasted like burned smelly feet. Or cigarette butts. Baristas were overtly stoned and (Hillary?)the barista was screaming peoples names so loudly I think I have tinnitus. Overcrowded with pretentious people with babies in Patagonia and 700$ strollers so if Aspen or Denver, CO is your vibe, go here. This place makes outsiders hate the city, overcrowded overpriced shitty product with too many customers surrounded by bullshit industrial design trying to be an upscale NYC loft but really is just abandoned warehouse. Emperor has no cloths vibe. Sorry, Venn. But c'mon. Maybe stick to beer. Also the coffee is the size of my child's fist.
google avatar

Betsy S.

Yelp
Love the variety of beers and the fact that they rotate regularly! Fun, dog-friendly atmosphere and nice selection of food trucks
google avatar

Ava C.

Yelp
I went here for a work outing on a Tuesday night. The parking situation is tough as the parking lot is small and there are not a lot of spots designated for the brewery. The brewery itself as a fair amount of seating and a great selection of beers. I chose the tangerine sour and it was great! Probably one of the best sours I have had in a long time. All the staff was nice and there was no wait to order at the counter. I personally always enjoy some warm snacks with beer but this place did not offer any. However, they did offer chips and pastries. Great beer and a good atmosphere made this a sweet place.
google avatar

Yelp
pleasant staff and very attentive. place is bright and airy with optional outdoor seating. Sometimes food truck:)

Yelp
Can't say there are many places out there that have coffee AND beer and that are open at very flexible hours. This place screams 'please work from home here' as you can get your coffee in the morning and beer in the afternoon, or beer at 8am if you'd like. We got the ham and gruyere croissant that was pretty tasty, and later on got some beers including the grapefruit radler - which was my personal favorite. Great and casual vibes all around, not to mention that it's dog friendly indoors as well so you can wfh with your pooch in a different view :)

Kayla J.

Yelp
First, neighborly love to this place. Dog inclusive, outside seating for summer, great spot for a post Minnehaha falls hike.. Second, the staff is fantastic! If you get Eme, he will describe a beer for you in exact words so you can taste it in your mouth before you even try it. Besides that he also is so kind! There's also another host who pours and who will DJ - it's a vibe all night when they work together. Third, BOARD GAMES! Love sitting here with pals playing board games And Finally..the flavors! I've had yummy brews tasting anywhere on the scale of classics all the way to sours or even meat(smoky) flavors. Obviously there are tons of milds of all kinds in between..And I still have yet to hate one. It's definitely a place to put on your list to try this summer :) they also have snacks, a food truck during day time hours, and THC beer...a little bit of everything for everyone :)
google avatar

Jesse G.

Yelp
Great place with a wide variety of beers. Parking can be a bit of a challenge though as there are few spaces that brewery customers can use. The brewery is next to a transit station and is in the blue line.
google avatar

Yvonne M.

Yelp
I almost don't want to say anything about the brewery because it's already busy! But there is no denying their great beers, great patio, great dog-friendly indoor space, rotating food trucks, and most importantly their incredible staff! Located right off of the light rail at 46 street station. They also have a small parking lot and plenty of neighborhood street parking. They have Sunday trivia with great prizes. This is just a great gathering place.
google avatar

Susan K.

Yelp
Amazing selection of interesting sours! Really enjoyed the large patio which was in the shade! Lots of things to see as you're near a metro stop w/ people getting in & off trains & buses! Some unfortunate soul got taken off the train & put into an ambulance while we were there.
google avatar

Nate B.

Yelp
One of the most underrated breweries in the Twin Cities, this place does well with all beer styles. You are certain the find something here that you will like. Cool space, only minus is parking can be tough in the lot. Easy light rail access. They are expending their 16oz cans in distribution, so watch for that too. They don't get enough love, but they are awesome!
google avatar

Troy P.

Yelp
I like Venn Brewing. The location is great and they have a huge patio. It's right off the light rail so it feels urban even though it's in the South Minneapolis neighborhood. Food trucks are always parked right out front, and oh...they have good beer too. Always been a good mix of sours, ales, stouts and all that good stuff. Any beer lover should have no problem finding something they like. Plus, they're super kid friendly! There are usually some kids around, there are board games and an actual changing table in the family restroom...score! There aren't a ton of breweries in South Mpls compared to other parts of the city so Venn is a nice asset to the area. If you have an option, take the bus or ride the light rail, parking is a little tight and you'll probably have to venture into the nearby neighborhood.
google avatar

Chris M.

Yelp
Venn has been a very welcome addition to South Minneapolis since they've opened. I was admittedly a bit hesitant when Venn opened, as there is no shortage of taproom options in our fair cities. That said, they've become a go-to for me over the years and I don't see that changing. Their brewer apparently never sleeps, as they seemingly have something new on tap daily. Venn has an affinity for sours, which is right up my alley, and they do them well. Expect over a dozen rotating taps at any given time and more than likely most of them will be solid. A food truck is usually on site daily, the beertenders are always friendly, they have a patio for MN's three weeks of summer and parking isn't hard to find - I'll be back for some funky beer soon.
google avatar

Yelp
Well done, Grasshopper Beer game has evolved nicely We can always change Sometimes I get a little too antsy being the First to Review. New places always need time to work out the kinks before they are fully developed. This is most definitely the case with craft breweries. The first couple batches are usually pretty basic run of the mill stuff. You need to give them a couple months to bring out the more experimental stuff. I have had some really good ones at Venn after my first visit on opening day. Pineapple Sour, Mounds Bar Porter, Cherry Smoked Black Ale, Sticky Icky DIPA, Tangerine Tart, Breakfast Stout, Modern Sahti, and the Belgian Trip have all been four stars or above for me on Untappd. What I most like about Venn is there is always something new every time I go there. Some places rotate, Venn rotates to the extreme. So if you weren't crazy about what you had on one visit, give it another shot because you always find something new. Venn probably isn't in my top three favorite local breweries yet, but it is a solid contender in my second tier. Given some more time, they might crack my top three!
google avatar

Jenn B.

Yelp
Amazing atmosphere. Friendly and inclusive plus great beer! Would recommend anytime!!!
google avatar

Bridget K.

Yelp
Venn is one of my favorite breweries! They have plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor, and it's in a convenient location to drive or even bike to. I came here with my sister after a long bike ride and we got their cucumber watermelon gose, and mango sour. Especially in the summer, they have a bunch of really unique goses, sours, and seltzers which keeps me coming back to try them! They also have food trucks in the summer which makes it easier to stay longer.
google avatar

Yelp
Great experience. Solid beers. Had the imperial vanilla brown and the double IPA and both were solid. Staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. Space is great, and despite a lot of hard surfaces I don't think it got too loud. It was a great experience and I look forward to going back. Recommend!
google avatar

Mischa J.

Yelp
This is a very nice little place for some local house-made brews, and coffee, etc... in a nice modern atmosphere.
google avatar

Elise D.

Yelp
Nice bright taproom and good selection of beers. I really appreciate the fact that they regularly offer sour beers, they can be hard to find. Their Cosmosis series is always crisp and refreshing, and there's always a good experimental flavor to look forward to. Staff is friendly. I like the small batches because you can really tell the beer is high quality and well-made. The reason I'm rating 3 stars instead of 5 is that there's a point where a place can be TOO dog-friendly, and Venn has hit that point. There are dogs everywhere in the taproom, and it absolutely REEKS of wet dog. It's a horrible smell and it makes the experience pretty unappetizing. And of course, with all the dogs, there's barking, yelping, and whining. And most people with dogs don't seem to care if their dog is moving into your personal space. It unfortunately makes me not want to come back, I'd be more inclined to get their beers to go in crowlers/cans and enjoy them at home. It's just not a comfortable place to sit and drink unless you just love dogs and are oblivious to the sounds and smells. I know I'm in the minority, but for me it brings down the experience.
google avatar

Elizabeth D.

Yelp
Large, bright tap room with lots of room and a wonderful outdoor patio space! I've loved every beer I've tried there. We've gone several times for Trivia on Sunday, and it's always very busy. If you're planning to participate, make sure you come early! The line for beer goes really fast and the staff are very quick to clear empty glasses. The parade of pups is also pretty great! The rotating food trucks are awesome as well.
google avatar

Sara W.

Yelp
Nice big location with lots of seating inside and out. Service is good and though I didn't care for thier beers the person I was with did. The bathrooms are clean and though there isn't alot of parking, it is right off the lightrail/bus line and have a bike rack outside. They do allow dogs and children inside. And they have a big screen TV playing sports.
google avatar

Mark K.

Yelp
I'd put it a five, but not quite. I think maybe I'm a bit too picky about me beer styles and I usually can find more than one or two that I like. It's not Venn's problem, just mine I guess. However, if Venn White (Wit) is on tap I'm all in! I love it. I'm moving close to Venn, so I'm sure it will become my local beer haunt.

Yelp
My fiancé and I stopped here on a whim on a bike ride to Minnehaha Falls. We were going to grab a snack at Sea Salt but we should have guessed that the line would be too long. Luckily for us we looked at the map for the best way to get home and slotted Venn Brewing (my maps knows me so well). Conveniently located off the bike trail and next to a public transit station, Venn Brewing is off the beaten path but easy to get to. They have a decent size tap room with a good outdoor seating area that they look like they're expanding. As any good brewery in the Twin Cities should be, they're dog-friendly. For food they serve a few small snacks like pretzels but also have food trucks at night for your full meal needs. Non-alcoholic beverages, including kombucha, are available for your NA drink needs. They're not a stranger to the events scene, with a whole month of Batman movies planned for August and have a shelf of games for brewery activities. Gender neutral and changing table friendly bathrooms, because it's 2019 and this should be a norm. Service is spectacular. Friendly bartenders that really make an effort to make your time special. Nothing but good things to say about that. But let's get to what you're really here for: the beer. My fiancé and I both built two small flights of four but you can pick as many as you want if you want to go the flight route. Here's what I went with. * Strawberry Cucumber Gose - I almost got more of a watermelon flavor but it was a super refreshing, tart brew, great for enjoying on a hot summer day with tacos. * Don Oishi Yuzu Rice Lager - I knew I had to get this because it was so unlike many other beers you can get in Minneapolis. I know Urban Growler did one at one point but you don't see it too commonly. Dry and crisp and pairs well with a lot - especially with the ramen food truck that was outside! The flavor is very subtle but I'm also not super sure what to expect with a rice lager. * Solarising - I'm a big fan of coffee beers so I was very excited to try this golden ale with coffee, chocolate and vanilla. It's a lot smoother than Modist's First Call (sometimes that one can taste like coffee grounds v. a coffee beer to me) but also quite a bit sweeter. This would make a great dessert beer but I'm not sure that I could do a full pint. * Vanilla Milk Stout - This toasty vanilla milk stout also have semi-sweet chocolate notes so it's basically like drinking an alcoholic chocolate milk - minus the stirring or the dairy. It's a lot like the Leinenkugel's Snow Drift Vanilla Porter. I'm sure I'd enjoy a full pint of this later in the year. My fiancé ordered the Berlinner Weisse, Venn Pils, Smoked Red Ale and Rye Pale Ale. I focused on my flight so I can't speak much to his but in his words, "they were fine, nothing special." I would somewhat agree with that statement. I would come back if we were looking to make a stop on a bike ride or if there was a movie they were playing we wanted to watch but the beers weren't super impressive; good enough to check out but not impressive enough to come back for a beer I was craving. They do have a very expansive list that would be great to bring friends or family that like trying new beers or for just a good laid back environment.

Yelp
I have been passing this place on the Metro for a couple years now, wondering how good it is. We finally made some time to try it last night, and we were super impressed with their beer selection, their beer taste, and the brewery as a whole. We decided to try a sampler, which is available in almost any quantity (as in, you don't have to choose a minimum or maximum number of beers to try). They have a lot of summer beers on tap right now, which means mostly lighter beers and sours (although they had one IPA, one pale, and two dark beers). I was really impressed with their Key Lime Gose: it's the perfect companion for sitting out on their patio on a nice summer evening. Their sours were also quite tasty. They have a large inside as well as a smaller outside (get there early on nice days/nights if you want to sit on the patio, it does fill up). You order at a counter, and while there was a line, it went fast. They don't really have any food (besides a couple bar snacks), but there was a food truck there, and you can BYO almost anything (lots of people had Pizza Luce, they must deliver here regularly). They have a HUGE board game selection. One of the best features of this place is its location. Not only is it right next to the Blue Line Metro station, but there is a giant bus hub right next door as well, with at least a half dozen bus routes stopping there. So, you will likely be able to take public transit here and away and not worry about driving. It's also close to a few bike trails.

Yelp
We stopped for a beer on the way home from a Twins game on Father's Day. Beer was good only complaint was lack of parking. I will not hold this against the beer though and will stop back.

Yelp
Three stars, I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. Nice outdoor patio but mediocre beer.Their house ale is pretty bland. The ham and cheese croissant was good, but it would've been better warmed up. Not sure if I'll get back there or not. I'm certainly not in any rush too.

Yelp
This is probably one of the most boring taprooms I have been to - everything seemed so sterile and boring. Yet the place was FULL of dogs so obviously not sterile at all :/ Look, I have nothing against dogs in most cases, but I do not want or need them in an INDOOR establishment. I am obviously in the minority on this (at least it seems based on all the dogs) but I will still complain. It causes places to smell and taprooms are often loud enough without a bunch of dogs barking. To make things worse, apparently they were throwing a doggy birthday party, which, ok fine I get it you guys like dogs, but it also meant they were taking up a bunch of tables that money spending, beer drinking HUMANS (me) could have been sitting at. I will say that I did have a couple tasty beers - I think the breakfast stout and the Dark Mexican Lager (always appreciate a Mexican brew!) Parking is atrocious. Don't drive here - take the train.
