Venti Italian Specialties

While in Jersey city we stopped by Venti. Small deli with a very small section to eat. When I say old school like back in Brooklyn, that was the vibe I caught. Joe gave us some fresh mozzarella cheese as a taste while we waited for several sandwiches. I'm on the road alot and this place caught my son's FYP page on tiktok. We just had to try this place. We'll let me tell you, the mozzarella cheeses was spot on, moist, lightly salted, and fresh. The chicken caesar sandwich was large. Nice size cutlets, freshly cooked, nice chucks of roman lettuce, shaved parmesan cheese, well seasoned crunchy croutons and a nice casar dressing. The seeded bread had a good bite to it, not crunchy but really good. We will definitely be back. Best of luck to you Joe, you have a good mine there. Street parking, but has several corner sections to pull up and double park, watching out the window for those meter maids.

Wow. This place does NOT skimp on portions. The sandwich I ordered must’ve weighed 2lbs. I usually finish everything I order but I couldn’t eat this all in one sitting. And THATS WHAT I LOVE AMERICA FOR. The guys here seem to know what they’re doing—lots of folks were lining up inside and going in and out constantly.

Came here after weirdly craving a chicken parm sandwich (I never have craved it in my life), here are my thoughts: A small, well-organized and clean place that sells a variety of sandwiches, salads and even fresh mozzarella. There’s a tall three seater window-side bar table as well for dining in. I ordered the chicken parm with vodka sauce (there’s an option for red sauce) which came out to $14-$15. The portion size was good enough for two meals. Now to the sandwich itself; bread was crispy, mozzarella was pulling, and sauce added great flavor. When I comeback I would probably want to add some spice to the sandwich.

I traveled all the way from the Bronx to try this chicken Cesar sandwich and let me tell you it’s great ! Make sure you have lots of napkins tho because it’s messy!!! I can’t wait for this man to expand his place … I am originally from jersey city and yes it has changed but this place is it !!! Very busy so make sure u have time to wait .. I most definitely recommend this place to anyone so if you are in the JC area make sure you stop here u wont regret it !!!!!

This is the BEST food I have had in a long time! The chicken parm sandwich with the vodka sauce is AMAZING and a must get! Truly everything was delicious. They make their own mozzarella in store which is also fantastic! If we didnt live in Tampa, we would be here everyday! Also, the owner is so nice and welcoming! I would fly back to Jersey City just to have this place again! Thank you Venti!

I ordered three sandwiches. The ceasar chicken, classic tuna and the chicken parm. All three where great. My favorite was the classic tuna which I believe was one of the best tuna sandwiches I have ever had.

This place is absolutely amazing. I had the chicken cutlet caesar salad sandwich. It was mouth-watering. From the portion size to the Caesar sauce, everything tastes like real authentic Italian food. It's like eating your mother's food. Steven was also a very nice help. I wish I could rate this place 10 stars!!

This spot replace the vegan one. We see their food truck around JC with long lines. Glad they were able to open a spot. Inside looks good. Well designed. Looks like a deli in the City. Good queue when we came for lunch. We ordered a couple sandwiches to stay. Not much sitting area. Sandwiches are large. One for 2 people can be just enough for a hefty lunch. Meat and cheeses were fresh. The bread was slightly too hard for my preference. I like the soft texture of Our Hero and Salumeria Ercolano. Overall great place to grab lunch. Welcome to the neighborhood. May you last a long time. Recommended!

Easy 5 star. The sandwiches are so good; I've picked up multiple times from the truck, but just had my first delivery yesterday from the store. I had the unrivaled vodka chicken parm. It's ridiculous how good this sandwich is. Even delivered it was perfectly packed to retain the heat and the solid semolina roll is perfect because it's able to maintain good crust/crunch even in delivery. With the generous servings they could easily slide by without having a great attention to detail, but they go the extra mile in terms of layering the items and spreading it out so every bite is amazing. Truly one of the best places I've ever ordered from and they deserve lots of loyal customers.

After hearing about Venti on social media, we decided to give a try while in Jersey City! Only street parking is available and fortunately this isn't a busy part of JC, so it wasn't too difficult to find. The interior is like a classic deli with only a couple seats and you can order from the counter. We got the chicken caesar sandwich, which was reasonably priced for its size. It was filled to the brim with salad, chicken cutlets, dressing, and even croutons! The dressing made the sandwich very flavorful and I split it with my boyfriend. We decided to eat inside, and the staff was kind enough to check in on us and provide us with more napkins. Overall, we had a great experience at Venti and would recommend it!

I originally saw about this place on instagram. We tried the famous chicken caesar sandwich which was excellent!!! But I have to say the procciutto mozzarella salad with the balsamic was superb!!! Would I go back? Already have lol I love the food here. I also was able to try the sausage and peppers and those were so good too! Overall it was excellent.

After watching a TikTok video I had to go and try the chicken Caesar sandwich and it was a 10 out of 10 experience! The dressing is homemade and absolutely delicious. The chicken cutlet was cooked perfectly, and the semolina was the cherry on top. I will definitely be coming back here!

Very consistent quality and the staff are so helpful with recommendations. Glad to have them a few steps away from home.

I've heard about these guys when they were a food truck and now they have their first store front. Stopped in for lunch and the guys behind the counter were very friendly. They offered up suggestions depending on what I was in the mood for. It's mostly sandwiches there which the sandwich menu sounded great. There were a few returning customers who raved about the sandwiches in there as well. Unfortunately I'm trying to stay away from bread so luckily they had some hot food. I was offered eggplant, chicken cutlet, meatballs, pasta, vodka sauce, marinara, salads. They were very accommodating and said I could do half cutlet have eggplant platter with some mozzarella and vodka sauce. When I got back to work though it wasn't quite what I ordered .. it was all eggplant with mozzarella and marinara. So I was disappointed with that however the eggplant was excellent. It was thinly sliced lightly breaded eggplant. It was a large portion and I couldn't even finish it. So, despite it being the wrong order, the food was pretty good. They also have a soup of the day. It looks like they are still getting things up and running so the menu is a little limited unless you're a sandwich person. I'll return in hopes of getting cutlet.

They got this special sandwich called the "San Vito"......dear.sweet.baby.f*ckin'.JEEBUS is this thing good. This thing could stops wars. This thing could take a roundhouse kick from Chuck Norris and deliver one back. This thing could have made Christopher Hitchens abandon atheism. If they keep working on it, this thing WILL be able to go BACK IN TIME to make Derrick Rose sub out in '08 and avoid that knee injury. They also have other sandwiches which are also awesome, but trust me VIVA SAN VITO!!!!

Best Italian Sub in Hudson County. Bread seems to be seeded semolina, good crust not too bready, cold cuts cut razor thin, well balanced, very generous portions.

Massive sub, fits for 2 meals! So happy there's a sandwich in this area. Yes, I know there's Our Hero on Bergen but the last time I went there the meat tasted old. But no such complaints about Venti! Clean establishment and hygienic food prep practices (discarding gloves when changing from food prep to ringing up an order), tasty options (I got this spicy Italian situation that was loaded with a nice kick), and filling (again, the sandwich was HUGE *in my Donald Trump voice*). Most of the sandwiches are $13.99 which seems pricey but it's actually more like 2 sandwiches in one. Excited to try this again!

Days of operation really suck. They're closed for the majority of the week. Food is good just wish they were open more days besides the weekend.

The food is awesome .They get so busy be a little patient when going to pick up your order .Prices are very reasonable with other Italian Deli's in the area .The guys are very friendly when even there busy .It's nice to see them respond Hello and How are you today .Great customer service .

Food is amazing and always fresh. I'd recommend ordering ahead. The homemade mozzarella is 11/10. I recommend this place to all of my coworkers.

A fantastic addition to the neighborhood! Their Italian sandwiches are the best in Jersey City and possibly the state as well. Looking forward to trying every single one of them and the rest of the menu.

Overall a wonderful experience! I tried the chicken cutlet with pesto, sun dried tomatoes, arugula, with fresh mozz and was completely blown away. Every aspect of this sandwich was amazing and I can't wait to try some other options from their menu.
