Apparently, today was "Spoil Your Mom, Saturday" so we popped in here because of the gorgeous storefront and window display. The owner is incredibly friendly, and they have a very eclectic selection of kitchen and bath items. I bought my mom some of the shower steamers (she was obsessed) and a few bags of tea that smelled absolutely delicious. We'll definitely come back for some flowers and gifts for our friends. Can't wait!

Such a cute shop with so many great home goods! I stopped in on a whim after I missed my bus and found the perfect present for a friend’s housewarming party, and was so glad they do gift wrap too. They have high quality items for every budget — I got a nice gift for under $30, and it took a lot of willpower to not buy a few things for myself. Kitchenware, cozy blankets, teas and zero proof spirits, garden supplies, candles, ceramics…even a few cute pet items! They also do workshops on site.

A beautiful home goods store that has brands I haven’t seen anywhere else. I bought a wellness towel that my husband stole, so I had to go back and get more. The owners are from the community and have excellent taste. Will be back for their gorgeous diffusers and home scents

dropped by here a few months ago at a quiet time and was able to browse through a lot. i feel this is an excellent shop if you're looking for a gift (or in my case, something for myself) that's practical and aesthetic at the same time. chatted with Mac for a while too, who's a very nice down to earth dude. i'd highly recommend this place because the gifts you can get there are not likely to be stored away but to be used or on display for the recipient.

I’m visiting Oakland, and this store was right next to where I stayed. It’s such a beautiful place with so many beautiful and unique pieces. If you are looking for beautiful, elegant home pieces, then this is your store. I ended up buying three items. They also offer online shopping which I will be taking as advantage of. Customer service is also a 100%. When I come back to Oakland: I will be visiting again.

Oakland Veranda is a favorite place of mines. I love the aesthetics and the art, candles and home decor options. If your looking for that eclectic piece for your home this is the place. I love my Chilewich rug for my home from Oakland Veranda. Every time I walk in my home I smile. You definitely need to take a visit and browse and shop! You won't regret it.

Support Black Businesses! Upon entering the store the owner, Anthony, greeted us with the biggest kindness smile. We were shopping for post holiday deals and he pointed us in the right direction. Tons to pick from. We left with a hunter green watering can and shower steamers. We also caught on all things small business including a recommendation for a spot near our home! Can't recommend this place enough. Happy shopping.

I just wandered into their new location on College Ave in Rockridge because I loved everything I saw! I bought a beautiful wood cheese board that was very reasonably priced. The guys who were working there were so very fun and informative. Today was their first day. I wish them all success and I'll be back!

The Veranda is a beautiful shop in the Downtown Oakland area. I loved the decor and the smell they have. There's an array of gourmet jams, mock-tails, seasonal items and drinks to buy, I mainly enjoy the variety of delicious teas. Fun place to get gifts to and spread the word about personal and unique gifts. Lots of other gifts to buy for the home as well.
