Veranda Pizzeria & Coffee

I love this place! The pizza is thin crust and they have a vegan cheese option as well as the dough being naturally vegan!!! The Verde pizza with vegan cheese is my go to order but i also love there wraps and pasta specials. They have a full coffee/ espresso bar with a ton of flavor add in options. The Veranda is my go to place for a high quality meal at a good price! PS. they have a super cozy couch area that makes you feel like your on the Friends TV show!!!!!!

Pizza was decent. They need to rethink the seating/lounge area. Good service.

I love the coffee here and the food is tasty and fairly priced. The decor is very cute as well and the service is excellent, everyone is so friendly. I really like the caprese sandwich and my husband liked the chicken Parmesan sandwich. Salads are also good. The sweet pies are also delicious and huge. Overall, this is a super cute neighborhood coffee shop with great food options.

Worth the drive. Great thin crust pozza. Hand tossed. I saw the pizza maker making my delicious pizza and preparing my husband's spicy buffalo chicken sandwich. Great vibe. Even the music was nice. For sure a must visit. Close to the beach the red line

Love their coffee and great customer service. Miss living next door to this lovely pizza joint. Really liked their salads in particular... Everything is great but they really know how to make an antipasto! Also Miguel was the best barista on Earth.

This is EXACTLY what Thorndale needed! They serve Metropolis coffee, and I've tried 2 of their sandwiches and they were both killer. Really nice, clean, chill environment. The owner is so nice and has a lot of cool plans for the place. Definitely going to come here regularly!

This place is so confusing. In the times I've successfully gotten food, it's been great. But they generally don't have hours posted and are just arbitrarily closed. They advertise a commuter special in the morning for coffee and a muffin but if they do open its not until after 9, completely missing rush hour. They don't seem to know if they want to do coffee or pizza, and by not settling on operating as a restaurant or as a coffee shop they fail to do either. The decor and seating is a cluttered mess. This could be a great neighborhood spot if they actually had proper dining furniture. I'm also pretty over whatever random piece of furniture they decide to stick outside as some kind of advertisement. Lately it's been a popcorn cart? Why? Veranda, your pizza is great but you're obviously struggling. Simplify things and let the food speak for itself.

I don't recommend ordering this pizza if you want to eat any time soon. Twice in a row when ordering, our order was mysteriously "lost" and did not arrive until several calls and hours later. This most recent order attempt, we ordered the pizza and after an hour and a half called for an update. The worker who answered told us that the delivery guy had left 10 minuted prior to our call. We waited another 30 minutes before calling again; this time we were told that they would call the delivery guy for an update. About 10 minutes later we received a phone call and were told that their internet went down for "a second" and that our order must have gotten lost during that time. So we were lied to when we called 40 minutes ago and were told that our order was on the way. They said that they would rush our order to us. Finally, after another 30-40 minutes our pizza and bread knots finally arrived. Both were burned. Don't order this pizza. Order from Jimmy's and receive a pizza that is just as good, if not better, that also arrived in a reasonable amount of time; no lies included or necessary.
